1401  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Your health is your greatest wealth and assets. on: August 25, 2023, 02:38:37 PM
Personally though, the issue of health is very important to every living person, not just to Bitcoiners, but then again, i understand why the need to sound this warning to this community, and that is for the fact that many of us who have been in this space for several years now have become so embedded in it, and most of us have taken it up as a profession, which means, we no longer do anything aside wake up in the morning, say morning prayers(this is for those who know God and go to church), then brush teeth(if you remember to brush self), then turn your laptop or pc on, or pick up your mobile phone, turn on your data connection, and na work you don enter so oh,, after several hours online, we are finally done for that session, we drop the phone or turn of the pc, now its time to look for what to eat, after eating, you feel like to take your bath, and after taking bath, you feel like taking a nab, and when we are up from the nap, we turn on the pc and we don enter work again > second round..

The above is the life of a typical trader, its very good to find time to exercise, and also go out from time to time, sun is very important for our healthy living, as well as fresh air, donot lock yourself inside your room all day, its not good.

Here has been the experience. The issue of exercise is very important too because mostly sitting for along time has its own side effect on the body. I was with a friend yesterday who is a trader right in his house we were having a conversation and suddenly he started to adjust himself on his sit and it happened  that he started to feel pains for sometimes at the waist region and back as well and it became that very severe that moment that we had to go to the hospital for checkup. It is very important one takes good care of themselves so as to avoid  any unforeseen breakdown in their health.

1402  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: How Does Bitcoin information help your present situation? on: August 25, 2023, 01:42:16 PM
Like the saying goes that "information is power". No doubt about it, when one is informed, there is every possibility of survival and progress in ones life. When I first got knowledge of bitcoin, I was skeptical about it not until I did more research and findings about it and after which my curiosity grew to know more about it until i was introduced to this platform.

The bitcoin information I have received here has helped me a lot. I grew up in ranks here and as a result of my hard work through bitcoin knowledge. I  am also earning bitcoin on this platform  as a result of my services rendered. People put in their skills to earn more as well. Not only that, the hunger to know more on bitcoin has saved me a lot from scams  because the more I learn the more expository information I get to help me stay safe in the industry.
1403  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Could Nigerian stabilise naira using friendly policies through cryptocurrency? on: August 25, 2023, 01:21:06 PM
OP this is a good findings from you but I would ask you too, do you think this idea of his would be much effective to strengthen the naira? what has crypto got to do with the naira except  the fact that it is used as a means of exchange through a p2p platform between buyers and sellers. Crypto is an alternative means of investment. To some it is a means of asset value while to some it is a digital means of payment. How possible is it or will it be for the government to buy bitcoin from bitcoin holders or do you think they will start exposing themselves to the government as bitcoiners? No Nigerians would make such mistake of selling or talk of exposing themselves that way.

To be frank, Nigeria is a nation that consumes with high export concentration rather than producing to  export. This has caused her currency to be much devalued by other nations as a result of economic advantage of Nigeria. The government is another issue too making things difficult for producers with their stringent policies hellbent on frustrating local production.

Not until the foreign dependency on importation diminishes, the naira would continue to devalue  at a free fall state otherwise Nigeria should be self dependent to some certain percentage to sustain her economy by consuming her own local produce and to some point encourage exportation of local goods.
1404  Economy / Gambling / Re: My Take on iGaming Promotion Through Social Media on: August 25, 2023, 09:55:20 AM
I think that gambling advertising  on social media is ineffective and very expensive, since gambling is basically prohibited in most social media

From my own personal experience in working in marketing, I would have to respectfully disagree with you. Any talented promoter or social media growth hacker worth his salt would know how to navigate the bans on gambling advertising and create a decent marketing campaign using social media.

Every medium of communication is very important as far as marketing and advertising is concerned. A smart marketer would always look for ways to do their work so as to pass across their information and communicate with the masses they target to have in engagement. So your stand in disagreeing with him is not bad  as all social medium platform are open to advertising because they generate funds and revenue  from it as the traffic increases to the site due to the advertising.
1405  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can money be saved in gambling sites? on: August 25, 2023, 09:24:47 AM
I was wondering if OP really read terms and conditions of gambling sites. Some gambling sites do not allow inactive accounts for more than one year not to talk of when it is an account with huge amount of money been kept there for that period being inactive. They would confiscate the funds or what if the gambling site shuts down and there is no access to them again do you  not think that is possible. At least you have been on this platform for some time now and if you really frequent the scam accusations board then I think you would have no such thought of saving funds with gambling sites because at any point in time some gambling sites shuts down without informing their clients and there have been lots of complaints of that nature of lately.

Moreover, it is not advisable to save funds with a third party agencies or organisations when it comes to crypto matters. Not even exchange is safe with your funds that is why the slogan was formed "not your keys, not your coin" which is still applicable to any third party crypto organisation or agency.

1406  Economy / Gambling / Re: My Take on iGaming Promotion Through Social Media on: August 25, 2023, 08:20:54 AM

Global Brand Exposure
Social media allows iGaming establishments to reach a global audience. They can showcase their services and products to a diverse audience, expanding their potential customer base significantly. It's a win-win for both players and companies.

No doubt social media has played a vital role in information dissemination when it comes to publicity. It creates room for a brand or product to reach out to a larger audience thereby creating awareness about the brand to the masses. With social media, a brand can actually expand their customer base across all divide irrespective of the region ethnic and language they speak. It creates room for more expansion in business horizon for more client base. Most times clients express their dissatisfaction  through the social media when they have no access to the organization in particular. Nevertheless, social media helps build and strengthen a customer-organizational base relationship.
1407  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Please Be Careful With Binance/Others P2p on: August 24, 2023, 11:54:48 PM
It is simple. If I do not receive an alert showing me the account has been credited by the buyer with his or her name reflecting the same as that on the p2p platform OMO forget o. I not release anything not until you have proved beyond reasonable doubt that such payment is in line with Binance payment or transaction policy and it is coming from you because any small pkam your assets don go be that o. So everybody needs be alert and careful because these men dem no get joy o.
But from what others has said, even though you no release when the person report the matter and when Binance finally confirm sae di buyer don pay the money to your account, dem go release the money unbehalf of di seller. And that can give give you a negative feedback in the platform. So to avoid all those things you have to do it when the funds has been received with the exact amount you place the order. Scammers full Binance, people don complain tire for dis kind things from Binance, so what do op and Charles-Tim dey sae na correct thing, make we dey very careful with those jungle scammers. Though good ones are there but di bad ones nai dey spoiled their names.

The p2p exchange is not always safe but it is the backbone for bitcoin, and the fear is always the unknown end of the transactions. Upon all that, p2p is still the best option of them all.

Nobody go withhold funds to person wey follow due process for transaction. Naim make binance dey talk say make buyers and sellers dey make sure say the payment evidence dey inline with the name wey dey registered for binance so I see no reason why person no go release assets wey dem don pay for already. Even if dem report you, you too go to tell binance say name wey pay no match with wetin you see for online. After all Na same binance dey tell to dey extremely cautious because if we release assets without confirmation we dey on our own. So you get dey vigilant.

1409  Economy / Services / Re: CRYPTO SIGNALS / ROAD TO SUCCESS on: August 24, 2023, 08:13:14 PM
After I had read through the first paragraph coupled with the topic of the thread I did not bother reading any further because you have already passed across your message telling us who you really are. Scammers really do this just as you have done introducing yourself and that speaks of much volume. I would not be surprise if you succeed in getting what you want and at the end your signal community starts complaining of your acts.

There have been lots of threads of this nature in the past and similar thing repeating itself in a refurbished and well packaged way to deceive newbie traders to joining their community and when they do that they start requesting for what they can not process but a product of already generated signal from another group.
So tell us any difference from yours?
1410  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Personal favorite on: August 24, 2023, 06:47:04 PM
Im not sure if it’s just me but I’m unable to access the site and I’m not using any VPN that could change my ip to a U.S. ip.
Do not mind the site. I looked for their ToS and this is what I saw:

https://www.bitcoincasino.us/terms-and-conditions

Quote
Who Can Play
The website accepts players only from those countries and geographic regions where online gambling is allowed by law. It is the player’s sole responsibility to inquire about the existing gambling laws and regulations of the given jurisdiction before placing bets on the website. The website only accepts adult players (the minimal age is 18) and players who have reached the age specified by the jurisdiction of player’s place of residence as eligible for online gaming. It is the player’s sole responsibility to inquire about the existing laws and regulations of the given jurisdiction regarding the age limitation for online gambling. The Company reserves the right to ask for the proof of age from the player and limit access to the website or suspend the player’s account to those players who fail to meet this requirement.

No restricted countries mentioned. I can not use the website either.

I tried to access the site, not working until I used VPN.

Quote
Game Rules
The player confirms that he/she knows and understands the rules of games offered by the website. It is at player’s discretion to know the payout percentage of each game.

The player confirms that he/she is not using VPN (Virtual Private Network). Using a different IP than your original could result to account termination and all funds will be confiscated.

I hope some people will not use VPN because their money would be seized.

I thought as much. Do you not think this is  a new strategy in play. They would manipulate gamblers to using vpn and after they fall for the trap after making deposit, they take their funds and tell them they acted against the terms and conditions of the casino using vpn to access the website after they had intentionally plotted out their schemes in their own ways to get at unsuspecting members.
1411  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: vave.com - is a rasists on: August 24, 2023, 06:36:53 PM
Sometimes some cases I read here sounds very funny tough. Casinos too can be this funny too. For such a long time a client been playing and on negative and they kept silent over it and did not stop the loss. OP made deposit and they did not ask OP for KYC to verify OPs identity but when OP started to win and beginning to make withdrawal there comes the  KYC policies and terms of services. I wonder when all these bruhaha with casinos would stop. Why not state you terms and conditions of service and engagement clear for prospective members to see while doings things with shady intentions to hold perceived members down to ransom. Its not fair though and the spate at which such issues is coming forte is not good.

OP your complaint is some worth sincere but it would require you to go the extra miles in uploading a proof for members to see because just this is not enough to convince members to believe you are saying the real thing as it happened.
1412  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Unknown Bitcoin Whale Gains $3B in 90 Days on: August 24, 2023, 05:56:04 PM
https://bitinfocharts.com/bitcoin/address/bc1ql49ydapnjafl5t2cp9zqpjwe6pdgmxy98859v2

This person is en route to becoming the third-biggest BTC address in the world. Shocked It started accumulating in May and has not sold a single satoshi.

Just your above-average whale shark casually swimming in the Bitcoin sea.

https://dailyhodl.com/2023/08/21/mysterious-bitcoin-whale-accumulates-over-3087545354308754535-worth-of-btc-in-less-than-three-months/

Possibly this  wallet could be a wallet belonging to an exchange or an organisation trying to make a change of vault  as this amount is some how big and risky for an individual to hold at once in a particular wallet. I strongly believe a new generational exchange can not hold or have such a large volume of bitcoin in their possession coming third behind Binance and Bitfinex well known to be the exchange whales holding such large amount of bitcoin. With time, the real owners of that wallet would be known and my guess would not be wrong.
1413  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is regulations among the key factors that affect the price of Bitcoin on: August 24, 2023, 05:15:12 PM
In as much as regulations has its own side effects on crypto and also a tool by the government to control the crypto activities, it does not effect the price of bitcoin. Bitcoin is beyond government control as it is decentralize in nature and nobody controls the market. I can say this that the major factors that really can effect the bitcoin price is the demand and supply factor in the sense that the " higher the demand, the higher the price" and another is the supply which when the supply is high the price drops but when limited, the prices soars high but in the case of bitcoin, there are only 21 million in total supply and out of this only 19,466,725 BTC are in circulation according to the cmc statistics and out of this numbers in circulation some are being locked up and some are lost as well. So saying about regulations on bitcoin is a case of one chasing shadows they can not catch.

With respect of banning of bitcoin, fine the government can ban bitcoin but that I think can not affect the bitcoin market in the sense that p2p exists and trading would continue to go on irrespective of government actions against bitcoin. Smart government would rather  tap into the bitcoin economy very fast than being left behind technological innovation trend to build and sustain their economy.
1414  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the launch of $350M crypto mining centre in Oman make a difference? on: August 23, 2023, 11:07:54 PM
Any means of adding security to the Bitcoin Network through additional hash power can always make a difference because it will help in the decentralization of hashes preventing a possible 51% attack.
If not for any major reasons to celebrate this at least this is a good point you raised that is of very good Importance to the Crypto community. Although the funds weren't pumped to add liquidity but the reasons for which it was used was of great value because more protection edge has been added to making the industry more decentralised and you know it makes the hash power more secure and protected just as you have said.
1415  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the launch of $350M crypto mining centre in Oman make a difference? on: August 23, 2023, 05:45:40 PM
Since it's the second mining centre launched in Oman, and the question is about its impact, I think we gotta ask whether the first one made a difference. I personally must have missed the news about the first one, and that one cost even more to open, according to the article. I tried looking for more info about Bitcoin mining in Oman but failed to find anything useful.
It's good that Oman is looking at other industries, but so far, these are just a couple of experiments to me, not a major policy change and not something that will affect mining globally.

I get your point sir. I am actually looking at the economic aspect of it and the fact that Oman an oil rich city could really have look into Crypto mining business without even thinking about their status at the stance. It shows how smart they are and are swimming in the same direction with the trend of development and innovations. It takes a good, reasonable and listening leader and government to take such step. I believe with this they have done,  it would project Oman in a better position as a Crypto friendly nations and this would likely attract mm more mining organisation there and in possibly Oman would start experiencing traffic flow into their nation and you know what that means to a nations economy.
1416  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Will it be safe to store assets on opera mini browser wallet? on: August 23, 2023, 05:30:18 PM
Ever since i join this crypto space truth to be told i never come across OPERA MINI say them get wallet na my first time be this oh... to me e better say i use weytin other people dey use to dey for the safe side. na IMTOKEN WALLET i start with before TRUST WALLET come show face i come follow dey use am, even as we get many wallet for internet so.

To be frank with you I never knew opera mini has crypto wallet attached their app until I saw this post after OP had called our attention that day this post was made.
I had to do the check for myself and confirmed it to be true that same day. I gave an advise that day and I would still say it again. From my findings it seems that wallet has a third party affiliation with Opera Mini browser so therefore any one dealing should be very much careful and alert so as not to be taken unawares because anything CB an happen and Opera Mini would not be held responsible as you are solely responsible for the security of your assets and funds.
Best you do your own research.
1417  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Can a unified language solve Nigeria's problem of tribalism? on: August 23, 2023, 02:51:36 PM
OP, your article seems to be the reality of Nigeria today. I have come to realise  that language difference is one of the major barrier coupled with bad leadership style we have in our system of government. This problem could be traced back to the military regime and that has become the culture of every elected leader in government. It is so bad that it is  no more hidden and it keeps repeating itself every democratically elected dispensation.

The issue of language unification is not possible here in Nigeria. There are lots of tribe and that alone shows how unique and special every tribe would want to cherish their culture and bring it on display. You can not tell the people to do away with their language just for unification purpose. That is not possible. Like one of the replies reads that the problem of Nigeria is in the leadership and not language unification.

Onset, it has become a norm whereby any leadership that comes to power only have the thought of running the government with his own people alone. They get all the juicy position and it has always been the mentality of Nigerians the "chop I chop" reasoning and that has eaten deep into the system.

Lastly, another thing that has been a problem is the pattern of system where the leadership runs the system with their cronies and Lackeys. They do not care about character figure because they are all in the same ship. All they care is their stomach infrastructure.

1418  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: How signature campaigns de take make money for di forum. on: August 23, 2023, 11:47:55 AM
You get a point of conversation here. E good say you bring up this topic for dis discussion. The main reason of advertising na to get through to a larger audience for marketing. This audience now would be the market target for the business to strive on for profit making.

Here onboard this platform, one of the major reasons for this campaign is for  reliability in the sense that members would prefer projects running campaign here ie they feel they are safe  doing or dealing with such project as their presence is recognised here and  another thing is that the number of daily engagements here is very much enough to attract traffic to any of the signature campaign. Do not forget that most people here are not just here for fun but for business. Some do  daily routine check for casinos, and other projects to invest in and also some do research for others too.

Lastly, the talk of payment for advertising here, yes they do pay for avatar and signature space to members selected for the campaign purpose. So that is why you see campaign managers put up advert and do take time to select members carefully to do the task and after that, based on the mode of agreement between the both parties, the campaign manager pays accordingly depending on the terms and conditions of engagement.
1419  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitCase | Crypto NFT Roulette | Case opening | Free spins on: August 23, 2023, 12:41:21 AM
Be careful, the OP has started a new scam and spamming various local boards with something he calls "AMLBot." It is undoubtedly another scam site.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5463662.msg62734515#msg62734515

Do not connect your wallets; chances are you will end up losing your coins. Stay alert!

It is obviously clear that it is their intentions. If not how would they be promoting scam with their accounts here. On different boards they have spammed with their scams. Well I think it is ok the way they got exposed. At least members can see for themselves who they are as they are here not for any good reasons.
1420  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best Cryptocurrency Casino in 2023? Share Your Experience! on: August 22, 2023, 11:21:14 PM
Welcome OP. I had to welcome you when I noticed your profile. You have a good topic here however, your questions does not sound really like someone who just wants to gain more experience but possibly an assessment scheme for an award. So I ask what are your intentions and how do you plan going about the information gotten to set up your database because I see from your posts you made mention of 2023 which I believe that to be your emphasis for gathering data.

Another thing is the fact that your account though might be a newbie account but I was wondering how a newbie could just be this well informed about this platform to  be able to come up with this nature of post a first engagement here.
