1401  Economy / Economics / Re: Money is for the important things on: March 21, 2023, 06:07:22 AM
As long as the money doesn't cause me stress, that's enough for me. Although the more money you have, the more options you have and the more things you can do. And, yes, I often prefer to spend it on experiences, like with people I care about, rather than on things like cars and clothes, as you mention.

In reality, the car is often the biggest source of financial stress, especially for the middle class, and this is something that many people do not realise. Never buy a car to show off, get one that is reliable and that you can afford.
I never intend to buy a car when alone, but I have no choice now because of my family, car makes things easier if you are no more alone, you will be able to drive your kids down to school and I am living in a newly developed area, very far to the city, there is no comfortable way to live in this area without any means of transportation, I don't regret buying one, if I manage to make some good amount of money someday I will definitely buy a extra ride, one for my self and one for my partner.
1402  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: March 21, 2023, 05:18:17 AM
I am sure that the present GPT isn't capable of doing this but the upcoming GPT 4 is amazing, it is said that the AI will be capable of detecting possible breaches in the blockchain or any crypto project, I am wondering how insanely smart this AI will be to achieve such results, thus could be a problem for gambling industry but I don't want to jump into conclusion, because there may be some restrictions or disadvantage of GPT 4, we don't know yet, but if any AI is capable of predicting games outcome many companies will go bankrupt, that's a certainty, I hope it doesn't get to that extent because the fun will be ruined.
1403  Other / Off-topic / Re: very critical decision to make in my life on: March 20, 2023, 10:39:24 PM
It's bad advice if I tell you to abandon your study for bitcoin investment, my advice for you is to look for a side job that won't stop you from furthering your education, and maybe if you can be able to save some money apart for investment through the job, then you can decide to invest in Bitcoin. If this is too challenging for you then Bitcoin investment should be ignored for now, you can try some testnets for new projects maybe you will get paid, and use the money to buy Bitcoin.
1404  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: why people promote gambling sites . on: March 20, 2023, 09:03:37 PM
Maybe one day you will build your own online gambling casino where you will turn all gamblers into rich people, because you don't want them to keep losing, they deserve to win. Ain't it?  Grin Grin Grin

The bitter truth about gambling platforms is they are here to make money just like their customers too, so it is wrong to believe that you should be winning every time you play a game online, the business will bankrupt very soon, its why I like flexing with online casinos just to emanate some fun from the website.

You can get lucky any time but be smart when gambling, use money that you can easily take your eye off, the chances of losing the money is high anyway, so always use money that won't pain you if you lose.
1405  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Taking loan for investment can be life threatening on: March 20, 2023, 08:27:24 PM
Taking loans to invest in a business is nice, but taking loan for cryptocurrency investment is one thing i wouldn't do or advice any one to do. Becsuse cryptocurrency investment is a long term investment, so if you are taking a loan to invest in it, and maybe the time to pay back the loan may be in a month or two months time and your investment will take like a year before you profit from it. And am pretty sure that no one would take a loan to pay back another loan.
So cryptocurrency is not an investment you take a loan to start up.
I disagree, taking a loan to invest in business carries risks as well, I know crypto investment is highly volatile but I am in the midst of people that have use loans to build companies and big businesses, it doesn't end well, when damages and losses comes it will shift your whole business into an imbalance state, if the money is your then its a lot better, you will still be in a cool mood, because the money is yours, no reason to panic or be in worries.

I am wondering how people walk around in peace when all they are built upon is on loan, I have seen banks taking over companies once the owner died, when the owner was alive no one knew he use bank loan to establish the business, now his children are in big poverty because the bank took everything from them.

1407  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you for or against ordinals? on: March 19, 2023, 08:33:26 PM
I hate ordinals just as many Bitcoin fanboys out there but this can attracts load of money in the next bull season, since we are here to make money, I doubt I am the only one who wants to make money, ordinals might work the risk, I don't want to end up losing the opportunity, crypto money only follows hype in a bull season, the same thing happened with meme coins, we don't like meme coins because they are shit coins, yet they turn many into millionaires, thanks to the same hype we talking about. The newest thing happening in the crypto space now is Ordinals and Artificial intelligence.
1408  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I think that there are Dark secrets in every Successful Business on: March 19, 2023, 07:26:25 PM
Not all businessmen are dirty, and you don't have to get your hands dirty in your business to be successful, this is a wrong way of thinking, I do not agree because I have my conscience, I can't ruin people's lives because I want to be successful and not ruining peoples life won't stop me from been successful either, those who have dark secrets believe that this is the only way to turn the table around, they took a short cut instead, it depends on your belief, what you believe in is what will work for you.
1409  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How my lack of knowledge has blinded me so far on: March 19, 2023, 06:57:34 PM
It's good you understand the importance of KYC requirements, people don't put themselves in others shoes that's why they always believe they are right at every decision they make, sometimes, you need to be in the game to understand the game, I bet if you are a casino owner and you don't want to get in trouble running your casino you will ask for KYC from your customers, it's a normal routine.

1413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of play to earn games on: March 18, 2023, 11:25:12 AM
Only Axie infinity looks successful to me, because people are really into this project and they play the game to earn some money, it was well adopted and till this day, upon all the hates this project still does better than many play to earn in crypto world today, Gods Unchained as another well adopted play to earn game.

Your friend knows nothing about market movement that is why he went ahead and buy Bitcoin at the ATH, it shows he is a newbie, to me, it's even riskier to be out of Bitcoin right now, few people are still predicting 13k drop but it should not stop anyone from accumulating Bitcoin because it doesn't matter, it won't stop you from making massive gains.
1416  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is a good wallet I can use to store Bitcoin? on: March 17, 2023, 10:04:47 PM

Plenty of free options to choose from..

Best crypto wallets in 2023

If you don't have a lot of funds to store, you can just go with one of the mobile wallets on there.

If you have a relatively high amount though, scrape the money together and get yourself a hardware wallet (a basic nano s is fine)

Watch the video on there.. John Mcafee explains why mobile wallets can be vulnerable. It wasn't until I heard his explanation that I fully understood why hardware wallets are superior.
This list consists of Trust wallet, Atomic wallet and Exodus wallet, but I believe that Electrum wallet is better than what you have on this list, aside from the hardware wallet Trezor and Ledger, you don't even have to buy hardware wallet like @Serveria.com said, if you can keep your recovery seed safe you won't run into any problem, I have been using Electrum wallet for a very long period of time and no single issue.

1419  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / What other ways are available for purchasing Bitcoin? on: March 16, 2023, 02:57:24 AM
Charles Hoskinson stated that cryptocurrency needs to cut ties with banks, how do you think this will work out? Because I use Fiat through Bank to purchase Bitcoin and other altcoins, is there any possible way that this can work out? What ways can someone buy Bitcoin without the help of Banks?
