1401  Economy / Economics / Re: First investments in bitcoins on: February 11, 2017, 07:38:39 AM
My first invenstment in bitcoin is buying some altcoin in 2014, i'm still a newbie and got tempted to buy some altcoins. The result was bad but it was an important experience for me. Bitcoin price right now is quite high, but i still believe that the price can go higher than this, but if you think the price is too high, you can wait if it will fall.
1402  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think are the biggest disadvantages of Bitcoin? on: February 10, 2017, 04:53:36 PM
I think the biggest disadvantages of bitcoin right now is that there's not many merchant who accept bitcoin as a payment method. The other disadvantages is the transaction speed, the confirmation can take a lot of time sometimes.
1403  Economy / Economics / Re: I have 12 BTC in my Account, How should I invest this?? on: February 10, 2017, 04:28:39 PM
If i were you, i would split the BTC, i will save 10 btc while use the other 2 for trading. But trading is risky especially if you do not have enough knowledge and experince. But if you are too lazy to learn about trading then i guess just hold the Bitcoin until the price rise again .
1404  Economy / Economics / Re: How many Bitcoin do you have saved? on: February 09, 2017, 05:02:16 PM
As for now i've saved about 2 Btc, I managed to earn 70% of it in 2014. Never touch bitcoin in 2015 for some reason and back into bitcoin business in late 2016. Can't save a lot because i tend to use it to buy some stuff on the internet. Looking at the way bitcoin is growing right now, maybe i should stop spending bitcoin on stuff i can buy with $.
1405  Economy / Economics / Re: If you were in desperate need for money.... on: February 09, 2017, 04:16:40 AM
if i were really desperate, i would sell some stuff i don't need anymore. Then i would search for another part time job until i got a fulltime job. I also have some shares that i can sell incase something happen. But i don't see that kind of situation happen because at least i have savings and i don't like borrowing money from friends or family.
1406  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: February 09, 2017, 04:10:20 AM
Ummm, I dont think bitcoin will make Banks disappear. Many people must use banks for their business at least in my country. Incase bitcoin accepted as worldwide currency, i'm sure Banks will change the way they operate. I don't know about many years later, but i don't see it happening (bank disappear) at least in my lifetime.

hey guys, im using wallet version 7.6.1, why today my wallet status keep synchronizing non stop. Usually it took only 5 min to finish synchronizing but today it never stop.
Check block count in "Advanced". Is it similar to https://raiblockscommunity.net 273,602+?

yeah, yesterday the block count in the wallet already the same with the one at https://raiblockscommunity.net, but today it works totaly fine. Another question is how to backup this wallet? Already click the backup/clipboard wallet seed but nothing happen  Huh

1409  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts for Bitcoin in 2017? on: February 08, 2017, 07:58:20 AM
2017 will be a great year for bitcoin, with the price making a new fondation at $1000 mark, more people will begin using bitcoin in their transcation. However this increase in popularity will bring another trouble for example the fee. There's seems to be more increase unconfirmed transcations lately and the recommended fee becoming more ridiculous  Tongue
1410  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: February 08, 2017, 07:52:20 AM
Teach our child easier than adult, by providing digital money sense I am sure they soon learned. In addition, it began to teach the child to collect bitcoin with claim faucet or join signature campaign.

I think teaching adult is easier than kid, because btc will provide them the chance to earn another income and that will push them into spending more effort in learning, compared to kids which is not responsible for earning money. They can just ask their parents for money. Even if they want to earn their own money, bitcoin is too complicated and boring for them.

1413  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: February 06, 2017, 01:17:23 PM
I don't think it is a good idea to try teaching kids about Bitcoin because they need to focus on other things more suitable for their age. Let them focus on school and have fun with their friends. When they become teenager then it's ok to start teaching them about bitcoin as it allowed them to start earning their own money.
1414  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: February 06, 2017, 11:43:40 AM
The price of Bitcoin really matters as the basis of profits we could get from bitcoin depends on its price. The people who engage in trading and invest in btc make a living from bitcoin price. The higher bitcoin price means more income for me  Cheesy
1415  Economy / Economics / Re: How much are you willing to pay in fees for a Bitcoin transaction? on: February 06, 2017, 11:10:55 AM
For me, it depends on the importance of the transaction. If it's an important one, i'm willing to pay higher fee as long as the transactions can be confirmed immediately.0,1$ seems like an okay amount for normal transaction fee. Personally i would pay fee up to $1, i wouldn't want to pay more than that.
1416  Economy / Economics / Re: panic selling on: February 06, 2017, 09:55:14 AM
there's always panic selling, that will never change. It's the same as stocks, as soon as there's some rumour or bad news, people start panic selling. It's a defense mechanism just to prevent themselves from losing money. People should think wisely before selling their bitcoin.
1417  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me a secret: any way to earn 0.1 BTC per week? on: February 06, 2017, 06:22:38 AM
i think you can make 0,1 bitcoin per week by trading if you have enough capital. But you also have the risk to lose the money if thing goes wrong. If you have some skills, you can earn some additional btc in the service section. Signature campaign is another source of addtional income.

Is your wallet locked? (if yes, unlock it) Are you using the v7.6.1?

yes it is unlocked, I'm not sure what version of wallet i am using (I'm currently away) but i downloaded it from the https://raiblockscommunity.net/ yesterday so i guess its the latest version

have you tried refresh the wallet? im using 7.6.1 and i have to refresh it every time for the balance to appear in my wallet. Maybe it's the same in your case

anyone here knows what time is the distribution from the captcha? i did some captcha yesterday and the counter resets almost 4hours ago but still didn't recieve any amount on my raiblocks wallet even it is fully synced. i tried to check my address on the block explorer but shows zero balance.

Yesterday distribution already arrived, try refresh your wallet in advanced > refresh wallet.

Need help guys Sad
Tomorrow I have claim 1000+ time. But no one mrai yet reach on my wallet!!
Also I have a team, they also claim many times, But there also no payment.
What is the problem?

Tomorrow? You mean today or yesterday? if yesterday, they already distributed the mrai. There's a timer on the faucet page for today's claim. Below 1 mrai a claim for yesterday, surely because it's weekend and workers have lots of free time to claim?
1420  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: February 05, 2017, 08:44:54 AM
You should do both, divide your money to save and invest. I don't know about your country, but in my country, if i have the money, i would invest in real estate without doubt. the prices of land and housees always increase every year and the increase is quite significant

Real Estate business is good in most countries but you need to understand that real estate investment requires a lot of money. Its not an average person game. So bitcoin can be invested in small amounts and so everyone can invest in it. And also it is granted that whoever invest in bitcoin, he will gain profit because bitcoin price will definitely increase more.

Yeah, real estate investment indeed requires a lot of money and not many people can afford to invest in it. That's why i said "if i have the money". Real estate is safer and reliable compared to online investment in my opinion. Investing in BTC has it's risks too, nothing is certain and no one can say for sure that the price will go higher in future but i'm one of the people who believe BTC price will increase in the future.
