1401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on START? on: July 11, 2015, 11:01:44 AM
All altcoins these days are crap, they either have large premines, instamines, scams, incompetant/shady devs or fail to contribute anything new to cryptocurrency as a whole. Best to take your invesment and buy some of the top 10 coins (just stay away from ripple and dash).

Why would you recommend staying away from ripple? I don't really like how it's set up, but do you think its value will drop?

As for START, Max Keiser starting a second currency is a bit of a red flag for me. Still, it's had a nice pump.

Ripple is a pre mined centralised scam that has artificial value. Best not to invest into coins like these but thats just my opinion.
1402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The litecoin dump isn't over yet on: July 11, 2015, 09:11:35 AM
Weak hands they will regret selling when litecoin is $100, buy BTC,LTC,PPC and some DOGE and sit back and relax.
1403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is NXT not the number 2 coin? on: July 11, 2015, 09:09:38 AM
The value of a coin is attained from how well that coin serves its intended purpose. Bitcoin serves its intended purpose (transaction network) well so it has value, NXT on the other hand does not have a set purpose. What is NXT trying to do? Challenge bitcoin? Become king of POS? Until NXT has a clear purpose and people use NXT for that purpose NXT wont gain real value.
1404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why LTC isn't following BTC price? on: July 11, 2015, 09:06:38 AM
What we are seeing now is a correction, LTC was never really worth 0.03BTC in the first place, i would place its real value in between 0.01 - 0.015.

1406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FoldingCoin - Mine for medicine, Scrypt and SHA256 ASIC proof on: July 08, 2015, 09:18:38 AM
What happened to the 100M foldingcoin that was set aside? If it is still set aside why not use it to pay someone to create a promotional video for foldingcoin? A small 2 minute video that sums up what foldingcoin is about could greatly help to increase the amount of people mining this coin.
1407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who owns peercoin? on: July 07, 2015, 02:34:09 PM
I like how you used "bronze" instead of the appropriate analogy of copper.

Meh, I always liked Peercoin.  Other than Bitcoin Peercoin is the most frequent coin I leave my miners on.  It's still hard for me to see any future with it other than pure speculation as in the rest of this mind-numbing crypto world.

I don't like the gold, silver, bronze analogies either.

Each coin has its own intended purpose and are not necessarily in direct competition

True however BTC, LTC and PPC along with other alts such as NMC tend to pump together hence the analogy of gold, silver, bronze.
1408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Who owns peercoin? on: July 07, 2015, 09:56:23 AM
Who has peercoin and how much? If you have ppc why do you have it, what do you see in ppc?  Since i asked i will answer my question first, i have over 5000PPC and i have been accumulating ever since early 2013, i think peercoin has a lot of potential and could one day be the bronze of crypto. BTC = gold , LTC = silver , PPC = bronze

The marketplace looks good! Any chance OCTO can be added as a payment option?

If i were to empty the bitcoin from my counterwallet would i lose all my FLDC and assets? Are the bitcoins in counterparty adresses tied to assets in any way eg. X amount of BTC equals X amount of FLDC

Whats happening with the payouts? I havent recieved any payouts for 1st June - 6th June and nothing from 7th June afterwards.
Can you please provide me with your username, as to my knowledge all payouts are up to date, but i want to help resolve your issue as quickly as possible.

You may be having this issue: A couple of payouts have been batched together due to stanfords recent calculation server outages, so instead of coming in individual payouts, on two occasions multipe days where paid out in one single batch

I am folding as Krish500_ALL_1AgGRcuKqgYRZCTHLCNzz1pQVf2g27b56d on the foldingcoin team.
It appears as if you are receiving the payouts properly, check out this blockscan breakdown:

http://blockscan.com/address?q=1AgGRcuKqgYRZCTHLCNzz1pQVf2g27b56d

Are you sure you are looking at the correct wallet?

After checking the coins are there but for some reason it isnt showing up under history in counterwallet. Must be a bug in counterwallet i guess.

1415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Primecoin Rise on: June 14, 2015, 06:29:25 AM
Primecoin 24h volume has just passed 1M....wow
1416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Primecoin Rise on: June 14, 2015, 06:28:15 AM
What is going on with Primecoin and its drastic rise?

People are starting to realise the coin has value. At this rate it may even surpass its older sibling (peercoin). I remember buying 30k primecoin when they were like $0.02 each, sometimes it pays to be a bagholder Grin.
1417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Counterparty vs Open Assets vs Colored Coins. Which should we use? on: June 09, 2015, 01:19:18 PM
the amount of NXT pushers on this forum is over 9000 Grin
