Yes, you can win real crypto from vip 2; I am still vip 1, so only star tokens for me. I don’t complain as the more tokens, the more daily divide you will receive. I am trying to become vip 2, but that will probably take a while.

Oh. I didn't know that lower VIPs cannot receive real Crypto from the wheel. I am at VIP 3 at this moment.
You can rank up by playing in-house games such as dice and mines by trying low payout, increasing your wager.

BTW, Did you guys notice that Starbets had only 8K users on their Telegram group a few days ago, and it's 21K now?

I am 2, so 2 and 3 have the same wheel... I wonder if the rewards are higher for some higher levels, like for +5 or +10?

I didn't notice that jump in their Telegram group, I guess it's a nice thing... people are starting to take more interest in StarBets.

I noticed how they added Litecoin to the Dividend pool, I think that is great:

Uopste nisam povezao to "zinha".

When I see a chorus like this not understanding basic economic concepts and clapping their hand in full hate against a concept they are actually embracing while posting here on the same forum I needed to slap a bit of reality on some!
I am not sure did you read what I wrote, or do you judge by all posts... I am a bit confused here.

So, when are enough coins and enough profits made from BTC for you? Have you put a label and a quota on your plans also?  Wink
Do you plan on quitting once you have enough and never search for profits again? Or...are you going to answer honestly on this one?  Grin
Because you see, there is one huge difference between preaching this madness and actually being the one doing what your preach, and this is the annoying part, everyone has an idea of how others should live but god help if they should make such a radical change.
Communism at its best, everyone should be equal, but not me!

Well, believe it or not, I already have that math in my head. $500k and I am on pension! I could achieve it with Bitcoins and many other alts (I am here for a long time), but I missed many big things because I wanted to live... and gamble. Smiley We can go deeper into that and when I give it a thought it's pretty funny... but in the meantime, I got married, got kids, and all that goes along... Now it's even harder for me to understand how can some people do so horrible things to kids around the world... just for more profit.

I am not preaching any madness... I saw a new term that made me think. "Greedflation", to repeat it again. And I saw it as a global problem... Therefore quotation from Guardian. Big corporations with their "crazy big vehicles" of any kind are making a lot of pollution! They are digging and digging... moving mountains... and let's not get into what they are doing to people, maybe more important to kids along the way. Even now in the 21st century, let's not go into the past about it. Do you really think it's the right path!?

So why did you bring it into the conversation earlier?
Would you love to live like in 1800? Or would you love to see others living like that?

Again, take a better look. It's not me who brought up "1800s" in conversation...

No, I wouldn't want to live in that time. And I don't live in that time... something we can't say for many others who are stuck in the middle ages. You are good with words, you push your thoughts and cunningly avoid answering the questions... Like some politicians. Smiley

I was wondering if you would leave a comment... Smiley

I don't wish to cut your post, I will answer in a different way...

- You started with the title of the article... as I pointed out "the end of capitalism" is not the point, but you made some good remarks, and I guess this is some kind of conclusion:

Quote
How many times does this need to happen to finally understand that you will first need to brainwash and lobotomized every single person in this world for capitalism to be gone?

I agree and it's because the fact is that we all want more. But I guess you missed my question, when is enough? Because of that "more money, more profit," we had/have too many casualties... who cares about nature, about the people? Does it matter when profit is higher... Wink

The Guardian has reported on new research showing that in one year, a single large container ship can emit cancer and asthma-causing pollutants equivalent to that of 50 million cars.

- Yes I am aware of child mortality in the past, it's why people had many kids in the past (+5), they knew that some kids will not survive. That transition in Serbia came a bit later than in Europe for example. My Grandparents had +5 brothers and sisters, even some of their brothers and sisters couldn't make it. I still remember the summers spent in the village with them... my children don't have a village, and probably won't swim in the streams, rivers, and lakes where I swam +20 years ago. They will not be able to experience that as I did...

- I know about the sewage problems that all big cities had, believe it or not, some still have them... even in the 21st century! Even before that, in the time of castles, there were no toilets, where did the elite defecate? Tourists write that the stench is still felt, I wouldn't know, I haven't been and I don't plan to.

Some things are just not right... where is this "Greedflation" leading this world and all of us with it?

Hello guys Im new here. Is the tournament is still ongoing every Sunday with same details written on this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5437680.msg61693400#msg61693400 post? I’m interested to join with if the buy-in is still 20$ for the next tournament.

I’m literally just new from this kind of tournament so please be gentle with me. I notice that there’s a total of 5 games on the whole tournament is that means that I will need to buy-in every week in case I didn’t win for that particular week?

4 games, 2 already played... Today we made a break cause of the Easter holidays (for some of us Easter is next week Wink), so the next Sunday we will have the third game. 5th game (free from buy-in) is the final table for people who got enough points in qualifications... the first four games (with buy-in). I guess there are some theoretical chances for you to get the seat for the final table, to be first in the next two games.

Anyway, poker is good... and there are these Icarus cards we are getting. So maybe you should join and try your luck. With more people in we have more chances to see new series in the future. Smiley

if someone gets one of the Icarus cards and is willing to sell it - please dm me.
Cygan, I would like to donate the prizes that are owed to me in favor of MML (if possible).

no problem. a nice gesture from you and Mopar will surely be happy about his cards.👍
@MoparMiningLLC the cards will be sent out after the tournament has been completed. Smiley

A very nice gesture... Bravo Ico! A very nice move. Smiley

I will not sell my cards... I still don't know much about these cards, I was never much into them. I'm waiting for my cards to arrive and then I will start learning more about it all. I think that these cards are a very nice addition to this poker tournament, playing for them certainly makes this tournament more interesting.

PS:

It's good that we will skip this weekend. Smiley

I would agree with that but it is still possible to just have an amp or whatever they are called. It's like an app, but it's not an app, you know what I am talking about? Those type of things basically look like an app logo on your phone, but when you click on it, it forwards you to the website.

Plus the responsive part of the website should get a revamp for sure, it looks outdated to me, and I have said before, the whole design should be revamped if you ask me because it is nearly the same as 10 years ago, gotta change it to make it look more sleek and modern according to our understanding of beauty whenever that changes. I know there has been a small few tweaks, but there are many parts of this website I would change if I had the chance.

Hmm I don't fully agree, sometimes it is better to leave it as itself as I already saw multiple times that the revamp just doesn't work and activity drops. There were plans 2 years ago for redesigning the site but it didn't go through. Maybe some small things can be updated, but I wouldn't do a massive update to be honest.
Well, honestly speaking, I go with the suggestion that the site should get a revamp, I agree that sometimes, somethings are better left as it is, but not in this case, freebitco needs to update their design, the look is too outdated, it does not fit the accomplishments freebitco have made in this several years, they need to update the design of the site to something more modern.

Or here is another idea, if they really love this design and don't want to loose it, they can design a new version of freebitco with a modern design and conjoin it to the current freebitco, then introduce a button through which users can switch between both designs, they can name the current design "vintage" since it look old school, and name the modern design "classic", this way, users get to choose whether to have their freebitco account operate in vintage or classic mode.

Why complicate things with a double look? Site is good as it is, simple faucet with some nice perks that keep us there. It's why ClubRiches and DPlay exist actually... who wishes a modern look with more games can try on one of these two places.

I think we will see some changes in the future. When I registered years ago it was different, and without many things on the site that we have now. It's a success to last long in crypto, so looks like they are doing a very good job. Maybe new things can come faster, but taking the time to do something well can be a lot better in the long run.
1408  Economy / Economics / Re: "Greedflation" has gone too far! on: April 08, 2023, 09:38:32 AM
...
The result today is that there are almost 8 billion people living on earth, compared to 1 billion in 1800. That hunger in the world has been drastically reduced and that in most of the poor countries where half a century ago people were starving, today they have an obesity problem.

Communist economists like this one don't want to learn that companies can be as greedy as they want, that if they are too greedy it backfires on them, but just his predicting the end of capitalism for the umpteenth time should make us think.

I think we will agree that in 1800 the world was much cleaner, in contrast to modern times, where garbage is everywhere around us, rising over our heads slowly, and we eat totally unhealthy food that comes "from who knows where"... and there are many other "modern global problems" that didn't exist 200 years ago.

With this article, I wanted to point out "Greedlation", not the story about the end of capitalism. I guess nothing lasts forever, and capitalism will have some end eventually. Do we need some big catastrophe that will force the world to change, as it usually happens, or will we do something before that?

I definitely think we need something new, at the moment exploiting world resources and not paying attention to pollution and all other negative effects caused by "chasing profit by all means" will backfire on all of us.

When costs go up, so do profits? That’s not how capitalism is supposed to work, but that is the recent trend. For over a year now, consumers and businesses, both in the U.S. and worldwide, have struggled with stubborn inflation. But the soaring costs haven’t prevented corporations from raking in record profits. The companies in last year’s Fortune 500 alone generated an all-time high $1.8 trillion in profit on $16.1 trillion in revenue.

‘We may be looking at the end of capitalism’: One of the world’s oldest and largest investment banks warns ‘Greedflation’ has gone too far

Interesting article, the term "Greedflation" especially. This is the first time I come across this term and I like it. I understand that someone wants to be rich, but when is enough? Is there enough?
1410  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks are dumping US Dollars and Buying Gold on: April 07, 2023, 06:41:52 PM
Dump the dollars and gold and get into Bitcoin, if you are not in already! Smiley

Jokes on the side, we all know what banks stand for, so who really cares what they are doing... with an exception of people who have loans there and interest rates are growing, they are directly hit when banks change numbers... just because they can do it.
I chose Bitcoin, it's always good to have some cash and gold (diversification is a must), but I have more faith in crypto than in anything traditional like fiat and gold. I guess it's a fact that Doge is doing better in the last +5 years than many fiat currencies. Something to think about it.

1411  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bidcent: Decentrallized, safe and uncheatable multiplayer financial battle arena on: April 07, 2023, 01:11:03 PM
Free from centralized manipulation? Are centralized gaming platforms and decentralized gambling platforms not controlled by humans? So how can you say that it's free from manipulation?

I don't see this to be free for manipulation also when they could just bid every time so the more coins they have the higher thier chance to win. They'd just keep resetting the timer to 0 until finally the other team dries out.

But I wonder how this plays out. It's too new to see more results. No one trusts new websites for a game though so it will take time or this Bidcent will be forgotten too.

This is not the first "financial battle" game on the forum, we had similar projects in the past, but none of them survived. I guess it's not about the site, it's about how someone with a really deep pocket can manipulate this game and win all the time, even if 10-20 people gather against him. It's why this game is not so interesting for playing, especially for players from the forum who understand the concept of this game.

We went too much off-topic here, we will continue this conversation in some more appropriate thread, at another time. Somehow I am sure about that.

Thanks for posting it here, just logged in to the site, but I see no wheel so indeed only for vip level 2. Checked the Telegram link you provided, but there is no mention of any vip requirements. For the other events, the wheel was always available from vip level 1, but guess there was also abuse which is why they restricted it ?!

I am VIP 2 and I don't see it as well. There is some problem:

1413  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Before You Go All In on: April 06, 2023, 04:16:43 PM
Before you go all in stop and think about it for a second. Many times I didn't take that second for thinking and I recklessly throw some money (small or big amount). I agree with OP, we usually try to make some quick profit, but all-in is a desperate move and will end up badly in most cases.

... trading is a very competitive market and the volatility is so high that if you do not find some sort of a balance , it will eat you up.

And we really have a very competitive market and very high volatility, and it is not easy for everyone to find a balance and be profitable... in the short or long run! It's risky, but if we don't dare to try and take some risks we can't know the outcome. I guess nobody has a 100% win rate, we all make mistakes and bad moves, and we need to learn from them and it is how we grow and get better in whatever we are doing.
1414  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do new online casinos struggle? on: April 06, 2023, 02:39:27 PM

Why do new online casinos struggle?

Lack of funds... it's not easy to start from the beginning with small capital. And it's not like that cash will start coming from the start, it takes time to attract players, especially high rollers, and to build trust. Every start is hard, but starting with less money makes everything even harder. Many can't keep up and that gets you in the position to make choices and cuts if they wish to survive and continue working.

It's the same with every new online/offline business. In my town, they say "It's hard to make the wheel spinning, but once you do it will start bringing profits."  It's hard and takes time (sometimes even years depending on many factors), and simply many fail in that process for some reason.

Anyway, slots are tricky, and people should be careful and gamble responsibly. Never spend more than you can afford to lose.
Slots are not complicated games because you play slots you only need to do regular spins or buy bonuses to play until you get a win.

Slots are not complicated to play, slots are tricky because they can really wipe out your balance (any balance) pretty quickly. "Just playing until we win" sounds ridiculous to me. I played and I still play and guess what happened many, many times?! I didn't win, I lost... Smiley

And if we deposit more and try to recover we can lose that as well, been there and tried that... as I said many times, slots can be very generous, but I saw the other side... hundreds of spins without hitting a bonus, I wrote about LDWs in some of my posts, when bonuses give x10 after one after another, the balance is just sinking down.

It's just that you have to find a way to increase the chances of getting a win or profit when playing slots.
Slots are games that are regulated by a system and almost 60% of slot games depend on luck, the rest of your efforts are how to make a method or strategy so you don't lose more money but manage to get profits or wins.
Maybe many gamblers don't believe in strategy in slot games, but I myself believe in it because I've proven it myself and did manage to get some profits there.

And you got the answer but looks like you forgot about it: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5445911.msg61969770#msg61969770

There is no way to increase the chance of getting a win or profit when playing slots. Some slots have those features for higher chances with higher spin costs, but if we are unlucky we will not get anything! Double chance for winning a bonus and still +200 spins without getting one... it's how tricky slots can be.

In some moments when I read your comments I feel like you never played any slots... maybe I am wrong, but it's my feeling. You just write and write, but I don't see some "real experience" in your posts.
1417  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trading is perfect work for jobless peoples on: April 05, 2023, 09:09:48 PM
It would be foolish to say that day trading is perfect work... something we can say wall all jobs out there, the "perfect job" is not and can't be perfect for all. People should be free to try things (in this case day trading) within their possibilities. If we don't try we can't now, but we need to know what are the possible risks (do your own research!), and even more important what we are risking, can we afford it?

The bottom line is always the same, take a good look before you get into something... be free to try it, but never risk more than you can afford to lose, that will cause trouble.
1418  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Think Existing Crypto Casinos Were Able to Churn Fiat Casinos User? on: April 05, 2023, 08:05:02 PM
...
I think most crypto casinos are still churning out existing customers. I also believe that it is not that easy to get a traditional online gambling user to change their habit. What do you think?

It's why loyalty programs exist. People who spend a lot of money on gambling look for good loyalty programs, and when they are satisfied with the casino in general and the bonuses they got from their VIP level they will stay there. When there is a better offer it's more likely that someone will change their mind.

I don't have a lot of experience with online fiat casinos when it comes to lucky-based games (including slots), but when it comes to sports betting and poker fiat casinos still have a lot more active players and better options/bonuses. I still think that crypto needs some fantastic "only crypto" poker places, but I guess we are far from that.

1420  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What could be the Symptoms of Getting Loss in gambling According to you? on: April 04, 2023, 06:57:40 PM
...
1. First things is that we want all in all to cover our losses in just one bet.
2. We use leverage that is more than enough to blow account in matter of minutes and that is very bad.
3. We don't know what to do.

Been there done that. I still have those moments... but I risk only what's left from deposited amount, I try to not add more.

4. We get addicted to gambling and that is bad.

In a way, we are all addicted to something! The bottom line is simple, it's not bad if you like to do it and it doesn't hurt anyone, no matter what people/old books/traditions/laws & rules say.

5. We become frustrated and some people end up loosing their lives cause they don't have any choice. [/b]

Every loss is frustrating, but losing what you can't afford to lose creates a lot bigger frustration... that's staying even when you wake up the next morning. I think there's not enough talk about responsible gambling and the risks associated with gambling.

By the way don't Roast me 🙂😜

I will not roast you. It's easy to get lost in gambling... It's fun and games as long as we play with amounts we can afford to lose, but everything beyond that will get us into some problems. So once again, responsible gambling can save us from many troubles.

I was irresponsible, and in a way I still am. I spend what I can afford to lose, but I think I could have done better with all that money spent on gambling... or it's just a gambler's dilemma "It would have been better if I had played some other game".
