1401  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: i sell my 2x antminer s3+ 455gh/s whit power supply 1new miner antminer c1 eu on: December 09, 2014, 04:31:49 PM
I'm a bit confused as to your add, You want an offer for the 2x S3+?

450Euro is alot for a second hand plus shipping C1, the full kit new is 375 USD so 302 euro including shipping, even with a 20% import duty still only 363Euro for a new item?

I stand corrected  Roll Eyes

Looking for ideas to reach out to the community more, I am continuing work on development with more things on the horizon, More promos and a give-away coming soon.

Give away is one of the best ways to spread a bit!

Any other aspect I think its allright Roll Eyes

I'd like to get in on this SquallCoin Giveaway Smiley
I missed out at the start & am a bit iffy on spending some funds right now but if it is free I will HODL & stake for sure Smiley

One is coming  Wink Here is too strict for giveaways so I have to do it on my cryptocointalk side, Would like something more interesting than just post for coins, maybe a "post a joke" or some requirement.

Another problem is I hold some coins but need to buy more for giveaway, I would Like to hold some of my own coins ay  Cool

Didnt know there was a cryptocointalk thread, anyway that forum is a bit shady dont you think?

Sorry, I meant site not thread, I have had some good comms from the site owner, I cant see anything "iffy" going on here, very popular place for all alts to gather, a good idea to keep so much away from bitcointalk.org IMO.
1403  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: December 07, 2014, 04:25:03 PM
Got payment, of course it is smaller than it should be (missing around 10-15%), but after all things I read here - it is better to get 10-15% less, than get nothing...

+1 to This!

Difficulty has been surprisingly steady for the past 2-3 weeks, but payouts have dropped this amount each time.

But pirate was not so stupid that he was competely doxed before the
Ponzi collapsed, no?
I share your view, though. The authorities shoult take care of it first.

I like this point of view, then we do our justice on him  Grin
1405  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: December 07, 2014, 11:43:19 AM
i wonder how much of the paidout BTC was then reinvested into buying more hashrate from him

Or even if they exist atall.
1406  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: POLL: Allow dust transactions in Bitcoin? (5430 satoshis or less) on: December 05, 2014, 04:03:28 PM
I chose to allow and relay dust, I do accept it would create huge traffic and volume and possibly open up to satoshi attack but I have a good reason, Bitcoin will become $1m+ per coin making a satoshi worth trading! Dust now is a pint of beer in the future!

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=108716.0

There's a list in the op but it's not incredibly up to date. Check the Services section for people offering escrows but only use them if they have plenty of feedback and evidence of previous trades.

+1

I have now gone through the list, Should be better now, But all ways good advice to do your research before sending any money to anyone.

Thanks for posting this mate, i need it for my future transactions.

No worries, Please check updated list and look as recent user history to see if its all still good.  Grin
1409  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Escrow list on: December 05, 2014, 11:37:38 AM
I'm starting to offer escrow service.
1% or 0.1 BTC, whichever is lower.
I use a trezor device: I create a seperate account on the device for the transaction, so my coins will not be mixed with the escrow coins.

Never did escrow before (except some very small ammounts for trades IRL), but I think my trust rating will be enough to proove i'm an honest person.

if possible, add me to the list please Smiley

Added, I have done a quick re-list and gone through people and links, Does not look too neat right now but it accurate and functional.
I will dedicate some time to keeping this list up to date as it is linked from a stickyed thread, alot of new people will use this list and I would hate something to go wrong due to improper information.

Please keep me posted of changes in case I don't notice in time, Would like to keep the first escrow list the definitive list!  Wink

I have a PB account and nearly ROI'd so I am not afraid to say there is alot of speculation and accusations running around,

Wow. Nice way to destroy your own trustworthiness. Essentially you are saying if you had not been close to ROI, you would be afraid to call a scam if you thought it was scam. That makes you complicit in my book.

Do they have a business address? I believe it's supposed to be in Canada?
I have no problems going to Canada with a camera to solve this one.

How about next time asking these questions before investing and especially before promoting it? Remind me never to use you as escrow.

Yeah, Erm, Where did I say PB was a scam, I just siad there were lots of accusations about this company, and I was willing to "if offered" go and put peoples minds at rest, Well you have really shown your short fuse, good on you.

They have acres and acres of solar power array.

Have they? Have you seen them? Do you have any proof of their existence or is this like the miners they "have"? Let's just say they have got acres and acres of solar power, do you think they got them for free and are willing to give away the electricity for free? Do you think they're running a charity or a non-profit organisation?

more to the point, has anyone seen anything with the naked eye? I have a PB account and nearly ROI'd so I am not afraid to say there is alot of speculation and accusations running around, Do they have a business address? I believe it's supposed to be in Canada?

1420  Other / Off-topic / Re: Help with software raid 1 win 7 on: November 22, 2014, 04:39:07 PM
Thanks for the input ppl  Grin

I have decided to go with a mobo controlled raid 1, with fresh install, I have also heard alot about cheapo raid cards, I have decent mobo's so I will try their raid.

I don't know why Windows does not support software RAID for it's boot devices.. something Linux is miles ahead.

I agree that Windows is a better choice for gaming..

Yes, This is because you pay for windows, Meaning if you can copy properly onto another drive, you can give that drive to your mate and they will have free windows, It's all copyright BS.

Windows is just the way it is for gaming, You know, I just noticed Steam games now have a linux version out  Shocked Thats worth watching!
