@Msile

I don't think so yet. At least not something trustworthy.

Are you looking to buy or sell?

Where do I find a download for coinyeminer?

I believe you can solo mine through the wallet client found on coinyeco.in or you can download cgminer 3.7.2 and join a mining pool and point the cgminer to the pool!

Can't wait to hear what news makes the headlines tomorrow!
1405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Built R9 290 fix for cgminer 3.7.2 close/re-open crash in Linux on: January 11, 2014, 03:14:31 AM
Hey guys,

I have built a fix for R9 290s mining with cgminer 3.7.2 that addresses the problem of cgminer crashing when you exit/close it and re-open it to mine again (cgminer would not recognize the GPUs when you re-run it). I personally mine with R9 290s and every time I would want to switch to a new coin I'd have to do a reboot. Now you don't have to with this fix.

Still working on a Windows build.

File download:
https://mega.co.nz/#!GVQzxa5J!dneB90G7yRI40VmdTV1B6knIJtZWdL4OI4mp8hvvlB8

To use:
1) Download the file into your cgminer-3.7.2 directory.
2) Backup your current miner:
Code:
cp cgminer cgminer.save
3) Unpack the file:
Code:
tar xvf

You should be good to go!

When you run, the top line in the display should say "cgminer version 3.7.2.fanfix".

This solution has been tested on Xubuntu 13.10 under various configurations.

The fix for this is described in this link: https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=8859.msg78496#msg78496

Quote
In the adl.c file around line 472, just before the ADL_Overdrive5_FanSpeed_Get call, add a line above:
ga->DefFanSpeedValue.iSpeedType=ADL_DL_FANCTRL_SPEED_TYPE_PERCENT;

More info for  issue:
The issue seems to be related to the fact the ADL library (for my 13.11 beta driver)
does not like the fact that the speed type is not set (set to 0) and returns an unsupported error.
This results in not properly populating the ga->DefFanSpeedValue structure and when the
corresponding fan speed set function is called (in clear_adl) the driver crashes.

With the proposed fix, the get function returns valid data and the set function no longer crashes.

Could someone please send 1 COYE to 5Rv1h9fFmQxzTCj6ro6MHQDPXWXNLrB7KB so I can see if it works? I'll repay, pinky swear.

Thanks in advance....

Sent you 1. No need to repay Smiley

1408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading is slowly dying... on: January 09, 2014, 08:32:25 AM
Objectively speaking, you cannot just look at a 14-day graph and say trading is dying. There are coins that have increased in price the past two weeks (Digitalcoin, Tagcoin, Anoncoin, etc). Do you count those? There are coins that are still decreasing in price but have a large (relatively speaking) trade volume (Worldcoin for example).

I will agree that there are coins that have not had any news to speculate on in the past two weeks which will contribute to coins falling in price. Trading might be dying for those coins, but it's still a subjective opinion. There will ALWAYS be new people to the cryptocurrency game, which means there will continue to be new money poured into these coins for investing and speculating. It will help when there are multiple avenues to deposit cash into cryptocoins (Worldcoin MIGHT be providing a solution with their own WDC/USD exchange for example, which will be another side of the park to enter the field so to speak). Also, easier access to buying bitcoin in 2014 (ZipZap, ATMs, regulated exchanged in US) will lead to many people speculating on coins just as we have the past few months. Penny stocks will always exist and these cryptocoins are all essentially that. There IS a market for it because damnit you can hit it big if a coin suddenly gets revived with a new innnovative feature.

I'm glad the main crypto exchanges aren't adding all this filth we've seen accumulate the past month. Most of these new coins you have seen aren't getting picked up by exchanges, which maintains a level of health of the coins that are there already. Newbs aren't going to be exposed to the junkpile of coins that exist in this forum if they are trading on those exchanges, at least not initially, so it won't dilute the trading volume in my opinion.

I think trading will pick up even heavier in 2014. We had a wave of new users after the rise of bitcoin to above $1000 levels. Each wave of adoption will spur trading of the altcoins. Each new cryptocoin trader will most likely not be aware of the whole history of each coin, so they won't be as hesitant to put some bitcoin onto an exchange and trade/invest.

Hey guys,

I updated to the latest client and I'm getting this error:
Anyone have any idea what to do?

Me too.  The hard drive has 30gb free, so the error message makes no sense, there is plenty of free space.
I deleted the block chain to try to resync, but it won't download.  The debug.log is full of orphaned blocks.

Any help?

Delete everything but the wallet.dat file from the user/appdata/roaming/dgc folder and launch the DCG wallet.

Got it fixed. Thanks!

1417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DGC] DigitalCoin.Co | Instant \ Stable \ Reliable | International V1.1 on: January 02, 2014, 07:06:57 PM
Not sure about Coinwarz.

I asked BitJohn about DGC within the past 24h. He told me that they are on the latest wallet, but are having troubles with it.

That's good to know. Cryptsy has actually been running very smoothly the past week+ for me. I withdraw and deposit all types of coins at least 5-10 times a day and DGC was the first issue I've had in a while.
1418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DGC] DigitalCoin.Co | Instant \ Stable \ Reliable | International V1.1 on: January 02, 2014, 06:03:27 AM
What's up with Digitalcoin on Coinwarz? They can't seem to identify the blockchain.

Does this have anything to do with why I can't withdraw my DGC from Cryptsy right now? It's been "pending" since yesterday morning without a TrxId (and yes I confirmed the withdrawal in my email). Anyone having similar issues?
