What a shitty job that would be. ^Ha Ha ha^ People who get these transplants also go on medicine for the rest of their lives, to prevent their body from rejecting it. They also get kidney damage over a long period, but this is still under debate. It could have been worst, if the pill was to be inserted from the other end. ^Ha ha ha^

Gavin got a lot of money to do someone's work, and I guess it's good payment to maintain a secure protocol. Only a small portion of Satoshi's original code is still in use today but the core principle was kept. Most of the developers agree that Satoshi's programming was average to say the least, but his idea was excellent. Gavin was one of the people who cleanup up that code, and he should be acknowledged for that. ^frown^

The Oil price and the quantitative easing program of the ECB, are some of the reasons why we are seeing this decline in the global economy. This will be with us for a while, but things in the USA are slowly turning in the right direction. Source : https://www.conference-board.org/data/globaloutlook/

This is the best part of the article, " Gamesplanet accepts bitcoin payment through its payment processor BitPay. As is usually the case with BitPay payments, they are confirmed instantly – I love zero-confirmation transactions – and my cd key was available in my account immediately. All I had to do was confirm my email address, as you will need to sign up for a Gamesplanet account before making a purchase. " You always hear people having a issue with confirmation time on the Blockchain and this is one of the advantages of using payment processors like BitPay. Let's hope more gamers jump onto this in the future. ^keeping thumbs^

How do they calculate the per capita usage? One HUGE mining farm represent only a few people and huge numbers associated to the selling of BTC. It is still surprising to see such a small percentage of those mined coins not being used for commodities. Based on that, they have to be the biggest hoarders of Bitcoin in the world. ^ha ha ha^

I think one of the most prolific uses of Bitcoin today is faucet payments and gambling in small quantities. If you look at the blockchain transactions, you see frequent payment made to sites like SatoshiBones. Take away these transactions daily from the +/- 100 000 transactions and you have very little transactions being done for the rest of the things being done in Bitcoin. ^HeH^

I was hoping for a whole lot more decentralization of the core development on a global front, not centralization in a single country. The salaries could have been crowd funded and the development could have been done in a geographical decentralized manner. There are too many countries holding back on Bitcoin, based on their concerns with the USA being in control of the core development. ^very sad^

The key words there was <psychosis> and <Bi-polar> ^Joking^ The post was very interesting, and a joy to read. My question would be this : Post the link in the blockchain where you received coins from the friend on that forum. Not that it would prove anything, but it will give more meat to the story. I would stay clear of claiming to be the inventor of Bitcoin, it might just cost you a lot of money in future. ^HeH^

You have a account in one of the most regulated countries in the world. How do you keep that account from going dormant? It seems as though you still have access to the account, but you not allowed to move that money? Do you want to exchange it to Bitcoin to enable you to move it more easily or at a lower fee?

Behind every robot is a very special programmer with needs. What will it buy next? some special nano type cocaine to boost his batteries too? Beware : The suspect is high on Ecstasy and is wearing a baseball cap and Diesel jeans, traveling with a Hungarian passport. I guess you blame the robot when the shit hits the fan or you call it art. ^Ha ha ha^

If you want to prevent a second MtGox, you have to audit these exchanges on a regular basis. From what I have read recently, the supposed <hack> at MtGox, was due to small amounts being stolen on a daily basis. This would have been prevented, if it was audited regularly.
There are even some people, who are asking for a Crypto currency audit on the protocol level for all Alt coins.

I saved every little Satoshi I received from my signature campaign, you can check my profile and Bitcoin address. It goes directly to cold storage as part of my savings, for a brighter future. I will cash out when the price hits anything higher than $2000 per BTC, ANYTHING lower will be hoarded. ^HeH^
I am building on being a <Bitcoinaire> ^Ha ha ha^

They are more worried about people having the ability to add arbitrary data to the blockchain and using that ability to store <hidden> messages and storing <Child Porn> images. Un fortunately people wo uld and can exploit ANY technology for these types of things. It's a good thing for them, to keep up with the technological advances, and to counter these possible threats. Gavin Andreson and his team are more than willing to help authorities to stop the blockchain from being polluted by these t ypes of criminal acts, but the problem w ould be to get rid of it, once it's done.

I prefer to use Localbitcoin ONLY for direct one-on-one buying and selling, with people whom I have built a trust relationship over time. They offered me the "hook up" with local buyers and sellers and I started with small amounts to reduce my risk. I now know these people on a first name basis, and I buy and sell any amounts. I prefer cash trades over EFT's and using 3rd parties.

Coinbase have to adhere to VERY strict KYC/AML regulations and they might even suspend or cancel your account, if you use it for something, that goes against these regulations. They have the discretion to decide what services they want you to use or not. Blockchain.info does not "Ban" accounts, based on the services you use or charge you extra fees for using it. You could also use Circle as a 3rd alternative, but they have restraints too.

The way to counter his opinion on BTC is to ask a question. A> Why does Bitcoin make it easier for criminals to exist with anonymity? Law enforcement have unlimited resources to trace these coins and they have the backing of most laws to force access to information, which is not available to the general public. How many other easier methods are used to pay for criminal acts? << Dollar / Diamonds / Gold>> They are frustrated, because they lack behind on proper knowledge and tools to catch these criminals and it's easy to shift the blame onto BTC. ^sad^

I would put my money on Africa because they are still untapped as a mostly 3rd world country. In essence more progress can be made from a country with limited development, than a country where development has reached it's peak already. The only limitation will be the African political differences and the way some of the African leader perceive the possible threat to their control over their people. ^sad^

I think it will be hard for people not to convert back to fiat currencies and to stay within the BTC loop. The general public and vendor's wants to measure the value of BTC against their fiat currency value. It would be interesting to see how this play out in the long run. ^heh^
