14121  Economy / Services / Re: [Lee group]1699$ for dragon 1T bitcoin miner on: June 28, 2014, 09:43:36 PM
Very good post Smiley

Power consumption is important - we pay 0,18$ per KW/H  Cry
Power and forget or fully operable through Team viewer is my only option. Uncle is all right with simple stuff - hell he put all my scrypt miners together BUT it was a nightmare. Me on one side of the EU he on the another and Skype was only way to get it sorted.

I'm not going to spend 9000$ on a miner at all.
A2-30 or SF-30 is my only option at this stage.

Would any of these be power on and forget ?

Many thanks for your help

In your case with being away from miner, I would go for the A2-30.  With it being all in one I think it fits your needs of remotely being operated very well with it's consistency, and being a all in one unit.  It just took a pretty good price drop at the moment for you I would give it a look.  Also is most energy efficient chip aswell.

SF-28 is still a good unit, but with you being remote I think you will enjoy the A2-30 for your situation.

Did you sort out issues with SilverFish miners guys reported couple of pages back ?

Thank you

On the Lee Group guide for the SF-28 in the second post it show the best to do if you have a unit not hashing up to speed https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=650608.msg7285593#msg7285593 .  It has been noticed not all blades hash the same as mentioned before.  The SilverFish is a good unit with great expandability, and they have focused on a lot of features it seem for miners.  The SilverFish program is it's biggest strength being able to switch pools in a matter of seconds on up to 100 miners, monitor all miners very easily, install additional unit within minutes, etc.

There has been a big adjustment on Scrypt miner prices.  The A2-30 is much less susceptible to heat being a closed air unit, but it also is larger in size.  But it's all enclosed with no computer needed.  Depending on your conditions and what you are looking for is what I would judge which miner is better for you.
14124  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where to buy software with BTC? on: June 28, 2014, 05:25:30 AM
try tigerdirect.com, they sell many softwares and accept BTC as payment options
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/category/category_tlc.asp?CatId=26

Is this is still official purchase if i buy with BTC ?

Yes tigerdirect accepts payment as BTC.
14125  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Im selling some Btc and DRK coins ... and i need help (: on: June 28, 2014, 05:19:42 AM
Paypal for just coins is risky as no physical proof to show a dispute they were sent.
14126  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: GPU Mining. on: June 27, 2014, 08:26:17 AM
X11 and X13 for GPU make decent profit due to low power and heat!

But still the profit is really, really low unless your electricity is close to free..

Also have to keep in mind that GPU's reduce in price as time goes on.   For me personally i had 8500 + watts of GPU's running at a point.  But i could not justify cooling, electricity for profit.

I would look into selling GPU's and getting new equipment or buying directly.  There are some "free" electricity that it might be worth it for but GPU is sadly not profitable for most.  Especially when you look at selling GPU vs profit it makes.
14127  Economy / Services / Re: [Lee group]1699$ for dragon 1T bitcoin miner on: June 27, 2014, 05:44:10 AM
Assuming you start with one Dragon on July 1 (with BTC @ $600) here is what you can expect during July; .7578 BTC or $455.

Are these dragon miners quickly slapped together? Do they good quality control, and are they available to purchase, NOT FOR HOSTING use? Seems too many issues with users trying to access their machines remotely.
I saw a charge for $232/month for a dragon, is that correct?
I pay $150/month for my SP10 which is 1.4TH/s. Big difference if I'm mistaken.

I cannot speak for the hosting, but I have purchased two Dragons shipped to the US without problems.

Hosting is based on professional or simple hosting, it is cheaper then you listed (first page has prices) but as last I heard all centers are currently full.  The issues I believe you mention refer to the simple one that was just opened.  I know engineer's have been working on it very hard in past day's.

The quality from Mr. Lee has been good for me.  I have one a generation old now still hitting 1T plus a little.
14128  Economy / Services / Re: [Lee group]1699$ for dragon 1T bitcoin miner on: June 27, 2014, 12:32:42 AM
I bought 5 dragons from my contact in china, then I decided to be a reseller, and I did resell several dragons and other script machines in few days. I just started, I have just almost finished the website and will do the marketing soon. Thanks

It's not cheaper.  You just are not including shipping in when showing price....   Advertising in another persons thread is not proper.  Go start your own, and add shipping that is left off front page 1700>1699 so really is not cheaper... and instead of someone who claims 5 sells with Mr. Lee you get someone who has sold hundred's of miners.

I am not sure what you were sent on image, it appears to be a new version or a custom one I have not used.

Use a 2nd SD card, do not use original in case you need it or pin is found.

But in mean time use one of the images found on forum and use a program such as Win32DiskImager to right to sd card.  Personally I like the second it is newer, but if your going to rent through some of the rental services the first image is what you want:

- A2 Image Orginal (2014-05-21) user: pi / psw: innosilicon
- InnoSilicon Customized WebGUI RPI Image for A2 Miners (2014-06-18) static ip address 192.168.1.168 psw: innosilicon

help please pcfli

the a2 that arrived needs a pin number so i cant get it mining for me without it as it wont change the pools

Is it asking for a password at front when logging in on a miner shipped to you?  Or is it a hosted miner? Assuming shipped and your using the InnoSilicon Scripta image the password at boot is:  innosilicon

Please let me know if that is what you are looking for.

on my router I have 50 devices connected with static IPs I have to stop all of them to able make this simple procedure... no thanks Smiley

The second part you missed is you can mount in Linux and change IP address within image.
14132  Economy / Services / Re: [Lee group]1699$ for dragon 1T bitcoin miner on: June 25, 2014, 07:18:02 PM
jcbarrales please edit your post to not contain such a long list.

Can you please let me know a little more.  What username did you order under I cannot find your order date.  How long have you had it?  What have you tried to fix it?

Have you tried reinstalling the program just open a new folder install it see if it detects it? This is the first I have had someone report it just not detecting it at all.  Plug each blade in separate to router/hub temporarily with doing this and see if it detects either.

U always can see the miner ip into your router.. So my network is setting up with ip's start with 10.10.x.x and can u tell me how this firmware will connect with my network please?

Ps: ok let's say I can donate if I see DHCP version of this FW...

Easier way is just change router to the ip address set temporally and change ip address on miner to what you want.  If you have a second router sitting around can easily be done.  Also can edit it if you mount image in Linux and edit it.

DHCP most will never want as static is great for multiple miners.

In the Lee Group SilverFish-28 Guide the second post now has some helpful troubleshooting if you are not getting consistent hashing that has helped some.  Currently testing one other method, but it is early in testing but has promise.

Also as part of the lee groupif you are on the edge on buying hardware I will be offering one on one with products over Skype/team-viewer I have that the Lee Group offers. I am willing to talk to you, show product interface, talk about my personal experience and settings if wanted.  It can be offered on the following products:

  • Dragon 1T(A1 1T)
  • A2-30M
  • SilverFish-28M

If you have questions or are interested in seeing the interface/hashing or questions let me know through.  You can post and I can contact you or PM me either way works.

I want to thank all my past customers.  And appolgize round two is currently delayed.  The new data center is already full with hosted miner's for customer's.  We will not be able to use the data center to rent Mr. Lee's personal miners we used.

The good news is there is a new professional data center coming, thanks to Mr. Lee's support rentals will come back.  Just will take a little longer as we wait on the next data center.

To all the customers of Lee Group rentals thank you for waiting.

And as always happy mining.

No need to worry.  He has always been very fair.  I imagine hes working on new data center with all those miner's he showed in picture a page ago.  Also remember time difference.  There is still lots of time in day there.
14137  Economy / Services / Re: [Lee group]1699$ for dragon 1T bitcoin miner on: June 23, 2014, 10:05:34 PM
They were to start mining today but  no info so far, I paid yesterday morning.

I appolgize for any delay.  I am in a different timezone then the data center engineers and Mr. Lee.  It is very early there currently.  I would suspect PM's, Questions, etc to be answered once it's daytime there.

I can say I know they have been hard at work with the new data center with miners, but do not have information on specific people's miners.
