Once they send you bitcoin's there is not a thing such as "charge-backs" in it.  Just make sure to see it get's conformations and they actually sent it.

Received 6 Silverfish SF28 today, looking great and already mining! Only problem is there is no english version of the configuration program at least that I can find.

Glad to see so many fish mining Smiley.  There so far is not a English version of configuration program, just the miner.  If anyone needs a guide on install of firmware I will happily make one of what buttons to push.

But I think all of these going out have latest firmware so should not be a problem on that Smiley

Ok this is a pretty bad one guys and I need some help.  Today I noticed my Dragon Miner was mining on just 3 boards (same settings for 1 month); so I shut it down and turned it back on. All board lights come on normally: flashing at first then on steady.

Once back on the browser menus come up normally, the window says its hashing, but the secondary stats window is stuck on the infamous "Error getting device list: ERR: socket connect(0) failed"; seen this one before only this time it never goes away.

From the pool side this miner shows no hashing for this miner.  I swapped the power supply just in case the original one finally had died, but this did not resolve the situation.

I'm out of ideas; I would appreciate help from those who have dealt with these machines more than I have...

Do you happen to be hitting the button quickly to start?  Sometimes if you hit it multiple to quick can cause.  Hit once give a few minutes.  Probley not it, but that is what i try first.

Do not flash your current card, as i like to keep it since possibly working.  But you might try flashing another SD card and see if that fixes the issue.

Thanks for your help; this was a tricky one as software looked as though it was running ok, however it was actually corrupt. Reimaging the same SD card with same software solved my problem.

Thanks for reporting back glad to hear it worked.  As always happy mining!

Great time for Scrypt buying.  There is the 90M A2 with best electricity ratio currently if meet the quantity needed if lowest price it has ever been.  And making it a strong contender in price as-well.

Also still shipping out SilverFish miners.  There are more and more fish in the sea of mining Smiley if any questions about SF miners feel free to ask.

Professional web design (HTML + CSS responsive)= Cant argue with this
Programmer (Admin/Client section, Invoices)= Programmer to search Google and record off unauthorized devices? Great so you are wanting to automate your illegal activities. You offer financial consulting... but you need a outsider for invoices interesting.
Outsourced Video Presentation Marketing (To pitch to clients....)= So involve other people.... and record over state lines in most cases.  The recording puts you into wiretap land FYI.  Check each states laws.
Dedicated Business Phone Line w/ VOIP and Voicemail Capabilities= get a cell phone or landline or simply use Google voice.  Don't need VOIP for a business of one employee.  If you do have "outsourced video marketing" they would not be using your VOIP office at remote sites....

Ok truly one last post after seeing this.

But really get a lawyer... look into not only accessing unauthorized devices but wiretap laws just out of the little you have told us.

Not everybody needs "qualifications" or "certifications" to fix something for a business if they are doing purely independent contractor work....

And not every independent contractor has business or income......

I would not ask for this loan on this idea.  There are more holes in the legality of doing this then Swiss cheese. I like you claim good intentions, but it just is not legal.

Before getting a loan find a lawyer who deals with computer security bring your ideas to him.... and pay the fee.  This way since you do not have qualifications or certifications to help guide you to whats legal he can tell you which ideas are like this and will eventually get your LLC sued into oblivion.

I suggest closing topic, and loan.  Think of next LEGAL consulting idea, then come back to forums.

I am done helping at this point anyone who invests now has read my warnings about business model.   And this is from someone with those security qualifications and certifications...... they help.
14168  Economy / Lending / Re: BTCJam for Security Consultation Business Project on: June 17, 2014, 06:04:06 PM
well, I am not doing it yet... but I don't really need credentials or certificates to work as an "independent contractor" to help fix somebody's system that nobody else is telling them.

This I know for a fact....

I really don't see how I'm blackmailing them.... if I'm going to end up doing it for free most of the time anyways

As i suspected no qualifications or certifications.  The reason for them is they would have been a good idea, either in this case would have told you what your suggesting is not legal or a proper practice for a security consultant.

You can fix it for free on all of them.... still would not change you accessed it before getting consent. And would not turn this into a legal solution.  There is a reason this is out there and someone isn't already fixing them.

Again i mentioned nothing about scamming, just the business model itself.
14169  Economy / Lending / Re: BTCJam for Security Consultation Business Project on: June 17, 2014, 05:57:39 PM
dude.... I have good intentions here.... Not sure why you left me that feedback for

I was thinking if they don't want to pay a small fee for giving them awareness, I would probably end up doing it for free anyways because I might be obliged to

That is almost blackmail....

The client needs to hire you first.  Again if you are out doing this please go consult a lawyer.  One that deal's with computer's on a regular basis not just any will be up on the laws.  Can you please list your computer security credentials and certifications?

You will not be able to do this legally ... plain and simple.

14170  Economy / Lending / Re: BTCJam for Security Consultation Business Project on: June 17, 2014, 05:48:13 PM
Well, I suppose you are right but the catch-22 of the situation is, how else are they going to get their camera systems fixed if no one is going to notify them of this by verification?

The sad thing is they wont.  But you have to act legally if you want to be a security consultant.  Even if intentions are good does not make it legal.
14171  Economy / Lending / Re: BTCJam for Security Consultation Business Project on: June 17, 2014, 05:37:18 PM
I needed to verify that these security vulnerabilities are indeed real which I did

What's with the accusations? Please do your research. How do whitehat "hackers" do their work? They need to identify the vulnerabilities and make sure that they are indeed real so they proceed to give these companies with real solutions that will patch it up without any worry or doubt.

Bold again.. unaurthized accessing of these devices. Just becuse google index'es it does not give you a right to access it.

A proper security consultant would "Normally a proper security consultant operates with a signed consent with a agreed upon testing between both parties."  If you are using known exploits searching the internet and opening cameras... again I would say actions of not a proper security consultant.... or one that operates legally.

I am not saying you are a scam, just that it's a horrible idea.  You would need a lawyer as I don't think you have done your due diligence with laws, and would question your credentials as a security consultant.  I think you sound like you have a good intentions, but lack proper training and knowledge of this field.

.....whitehat business project ....

So you are accessing bushiness security camera's without consent?  Even though they are unsecured am i understanding right that you access first without consent then "We will also bring massive awareness to the company's of the vulnerable camera systems".  Normally a proper security consultant operates with a signed consent with a agreed upon testing between both parties.

It is not whitehat if there is not consent even with the best of intentions.  I would read your TOS on internet service provider and a lot of other things... if you go large scale i suggest a good lawyer to look into your practice before going bigger....
14173  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: How to monitor room temperature remotely? on: June 17, 2014, 03:51:18 PM
I'm going to be moving some of my miners to a small room at my parent's house. I want to be able to monitor the room temperature remotely. Anyone have any ideas on the best way to do this?

I'd also like to be able to remotely/automatically turn a portable air conditioner on/off based on the room temperature. I'll be using Wemo Insights on the miners to power cycle them remotely when needed.

Phone call.... "MOMMMM WHAT IS THE TEMPERATURE.   Ok please turn on the AC".

Ok real solution raspberry pi and build it will be cheapest solution that you can do remotely.

Not much of a explanation of what your doing in thread....

Might write a little more here.
14175  Economy / Services / Re: WE PAY FOR SIGNATURE EVEN MORE. UP TO 0.0016 BTCs PER POST. WEEKLY PAYOUTS. on: June 17, 2014, 04:38:30 AM
Never paid me for 10 days or so in campaign.  I still say mismanaged or scam on alot.

Some will get paid.  In the end biggest winner will be them getting free sig spots by not paying, and lack of communicaion.  I predict they pay some most likely the more vocal ones.  And ride this as long as they can.

But a lot have already quit as they are so bad.
14176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Where/How to Sell My Rig? on: June 17, 2014, 01:28:35 AM
Isn't it a good thing to try the nicehash multialgo pool while you're looking for a buyer? From people with GPU's I've heard that that's still profitable, though not that much anymore.

Varies for everyone.  Depends on electricity and how much cooling needed.  Add those to together and compare to what your making.
14177  Economy / Services / Re: [Lee group]6779$ for 90M scrypt miner and 1699$ for dragon 1T bitcoin miner on: June 16, 2014, 11:08:44 PM

Reminder discount's on multiple miners.  Currently save $50 dollars when you buy two SF-28 Scrypt Miners. Great expandability possibilities with these miners!

Image above show's one SF-28 mining away and you can see watt usage!

With just two SF-28 miners you will be running approx. 56 MH of scrypt mining!  And using around or less than 900 watts compared to some others such as Zeus 28-30 MH which recommends 1200 watts.
14178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Where/How to Sell My Rig? on: June 16, 2014, 07:24:15 AM
Thanks again! I would like to hear your numbers, if you don't mind. You won't insult me. Just curious. For the rig and pieced out.  Smiley

I sold a rig with an asrock 970, sempron 145, CX750M, and 4 XFX 7850's for $430 on eBay.
Wow that stinks. Sad

I'd probably get more selling it by piece, right? At least a little more?

What do you think about selling on Craigslist?

It really depends personally my GPU rigs i made more parting.  If you get lucky and find a buyer for whole package you might make more if they offer fair price, but most that want whole package will want a pretty good deal...

Personally I parted all GPU's. They are easiest to sell.  Some things you might think about keeping.  For example I kept my power supplies.  Each were still great power supplies I can use for future mining if needed.

Sadly GPU will bring no where near what they did month's ago.  But I looked at it longer I waited less I get.  Pure scrypt is a asic game now.

I have 5 of these on order from PCFLI, great service as always. He showed me the performance over team viewer, exactly as advertised.

Glad to see thanks for choosing Lee Groups for your purchase.

If anyone else want's specific pictures etc.  Please just let me know.  Happy to spread this miner.

Will escrow be accepted? And I'd like to receive a definitive price in BTC

With the amount sold I'm not sure on escrow you will have to ask Mr. Lee/pcfli.  If you want that you could use paypal he accepts it.

As far as definitive bitcoin price when you order its the current price on BTC-e.  That is the definitive bitcoin price, it changes as the market changes as far as BTC price.  You just fill out the google order form and use the current BTC-e price.
