True, but those replying here don't seem like the panicky types was all I was trying to convey.
1422  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: GMO miner B2: 7NM mining within reach? on: July 28, 2018, 03:18:28 PM
Yea, GMO is doing it wrong. Their pretty much selling asics that plan to will host them selves. No developed for most mining facilities and date is way to far to even call them a market competitor. Then they will probably keep changing their design every few months as efficiencies or hash rates increase. Hopefully the prior.

My case is different, i didn't buy a9 directly from inno so i don't have any chances to change the bad hashboard. I have hoped that i can fix it by a new firmware but now, maybe it's not possible.
Anyway, congratulations to you.

Did you reach out to who you purchased from? If you have documentation Inno may help if their feeling generous. Otherwise I'd try to buy a new board/part from them. Could be quicker even, if they're able to send you a single hash board directly without waiting for them to receive one from you. Worth a shot I suppose before calling it quits. We order directly in our customers names to allow better service this way. Best of luck.

Why everybody overclocking MEM on 144 one? It works with deafult equihash but it seems that "144" mode is MEM-independent...

My 1070th work at 2025MHz/950mV (some of them need 975mV, and 2 of 15 need above 1000mV) with -200 on memory and give about 36~38 each.
1070ti (bought one recently) with same settings gives 40~41.
1080s (not "ti") work at 2050MHz/1025mV (and -200 on MEM) give about 43~44 each.

Why overclock memory then?..

My clocks at 100% power will yield close to 200 sol with 4 1070 ti's but are more efficient with the power drop.

I find overclocking easiest setting core first, mem second, and then slowly dropping power.

I'm getting the same hash with mem OC's at 60% power.

Coordinate with Inno and get their banking information and place your order with them. Then go to/call your bank to send the funds. Otherwise move money to exchange and buy the crypto and apy or you could even use our service if you like. Regardless you're looking at approx 5 business to move funds to inno from a ban no matter the route.

Ok, thanks for info, I will just have to go into my bank. Can others vouch for legitimacy of Innosilicon.com, I know the company is obviously legit, but if those of us considering pulling the trigger, it would make us feel warm and fuzzy to hear a few others who bought direct (with their slightly unusual payment instructions), and can instill some confidence.  Smiley

They're legit. innosilicon.com just make sure you're on their website not some other derivative.

Plenty of time for another to close out the week. I left all but one miner on  today as weather is a little cooler. but still going to push 90F.

And Bitmain's pending announcement will most likely fall into competing for market on newest specs/efficiencies.

Pretty much rebounded by now. Threads like are pointless, don't think anyone here is going to panicked by fluctuation or bear market.

Finally got a batch file to run, and run stable with four 1070's. Hashing all night about 5 hours.

So far my clock are the same as posted before. 1080 ti is maxed I feel with 60 pwr / 150 core / 780 mem, haven't checked the draw but it's hopefully around 150w estimated.

I feel I can get more out the 1070's once stability is reached on my end.

(Note: one is a hobby rig and the other gaming desktop. Not much time for gaming lately .. .)

Great way to wake up! Keep hashing folks!!

Pretty much sum it up the philipma.

Has there bee press on 851?

Can't be to far off from the T2 turbo I believe but isn't the m10 more efficient? Waiting another month for a great upgrade minimum would be in almost everyone interest.

I'll the numbers from the other thread.

Asics are designed to power on, run, and sit. Keep temps right and you don't have to do anything but collect coin. After 12 hours of run time and you have issues with stock performance contact the manufacturer.

So far single cards work best. Going to try running separate batch files for each card over night (6 hours approx) and see how it fairs. Seems to be a strong miner for nivida though when it's hashing.

Yes, winx here and latest drivers. Been looking at a roll back but been super busy with LN and BTCpay . And remote connection is helping uptime currently.

Hi,
I`ve just run into innosilicons offer, A9 Zmaster 1+1 for free, immediate shipping.

https://innosiliconshop.com/innosilicon-a9-zmaster-with-psu-innosilicon

They "helpdesk" claims that BOTH miners will be shipped immediately after payment, although I`m still unsure about this.
Is this even their real site or some kind of a scam?

Can someone confirm this?

Thanks.

100% SCAM.

Agreed, scam. Just check out inno's real website they list this fraud directly I believe.

The whole ASIC thing is a scam! Cheesy
They release an ASICs with 8 months ROI, then after 6 months they ship faster ASICs that send the diff flying! Then you need to wait another 4 months for a total of 1 year to get ROI.
By then even faster ASICs will be ready and you won't be making any noteworthy money after deducting the power cost.

Think people... if the ASIC miners are profitable, then why would the manufacturers sell them and not keep them for themselves?

They sell them because it makes them money, sure they mine to. So do GPU manufacturers. Asic's can be profitable long after release. Yes new hardware comes out just like any component. Pending a bull market you'll see miners power up old asics and old gpus if it's worth it. Not saying don't be skeptical but there's not need to put the tin foil on. Yes it's a risk, weigh your options.

I wouldn't spend $10k in something like that in order to make another company rich.
If I wanted to invest this amount of money somewhere, I'd just split it into BTC and altcoins. This way I'd support the projects I like without having to worry about hardware stuff. Maybe if enough people would do that then they'd lower the prices to normal levels.

And if you want a steady income, invest in a PoS coin like ARK (dPoS to be precise) or maybe ETH... which might finally become PoS in the future.

There is something to be said about helping secure a network with node, mining, and holdings. Not just one or the other. Early returns are there, early buyers will have ROI in the next 60 days from first shipments.  If you're buying now you're relying on market to continue to bull, this is the reason bitmain decided to wait til now to release their Z9 "full" and are still waiting to release their new SHA256 ascis. Market is on the rise as expected. Otherwise wait for the next asic and get in early but pricing will always be high as manufacturers want profits from mining and will sell at a premium because of market value. It's lame, but makes perfect sense.
1439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: EWBF's Cuda Equihash Miner 0.4 on: July 26, 2018, 03:04:28 PM

Yes, this is a common problem, on the miner's side I will do everything possible to fix it.

Yea, this the error I'm getting as well. 2 crashes of this type in a day and a half (second one over night).

Innosilicon's A9 is back up for group and solo buys. Slight price reduction as well. Mine on.
