I don't think there is enough liquidity in DOPE to have it as a payment option. I've been thinking about shops with low liquidity coins and have come to the conclusion that the only way they will work is if the shop owner works for free. Devs work for free, shop owners should work for free also. Instead of trying to make money on a shop. Make money by increasing DOPEs popularity.
Good post Fartbags. There has to be a substantial eco-system built around DopeCoin. I think Price first and liquidity 2nd which is why I'm busy trying to create some initiatives to solve both. I'm not entirely sure what you mean that the store owner has take everything as free , but I think you mean with the hope of the DopeCoin price going up ? so they hold on to their stash ?

#1 thing for me is price. It has to be the cheapest place online. It also has to be possible to buy the coins. If I need 2,000,000 DOPE to buy something then I have to be able to buy them. I wouldn't spend coins that I'm saving.
Ex. I want to order something that costs $200 on your site because it costs $300 on other sites. I would go on bittrex and buy $200 worth of coins all at once. That is the amount of coins I would pay.

Price of items on a store are important I agree. As a store you have to competitive in the pricing to drive an incentive to go purchase DopeCoin. Which in itself needs to be easy to buy also.

I can't stress how important it is for you to work for free and do not try to make money on this shop through sales. It will never work unless you are working for free.
I personally spend about $20,000 a year online. If you were working for free and selling me that same $20,000 worth of stuff for $15,000 then that would be $15,000 worth of cash going into DOPE just from myself.

Cryptocoins need more people using their skills for free. If you are a quality e-commerce store operator, that is a great skill to have supporting DOPE.
You could be correct. One thing I'm looking at is 'staking' accounts. So when users sign up they get some DOPE which in turn 'stakes'. So this is like an incentive to sign up to a service. For example, can you imagine if you had a betting site , and each time you logged in you got some DOPE in your account say $1-5 bucks worth over the last week. Its a great incentive to sign-up and use a service I believe. Good post!
