1421  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitDice V4 Open Beta Invite! 0.5BTC Jackpot! on: September 02, 2016, 12:54:43 AM
Some serious competition between dice sites is going on. PrimeDice opened with their v4 earlier in August and not we have BitDice v4 ready in September.
I love it, competition it is a motor for changes and upgrades! Any specifics how exactly players could buy BTC with Credits Cards and play on BitDice, it is not live yet?

Unfortunately nope, I'm trying to get us a deal. However it will be allowed only for high levels with reputation at least for a month.

Regards,
Alex.
Are you talking here about high level bitcointalk users possibly with green trust or do you have/will develop your own way of evaluating players?
Isn't using credit card usually requires people to share personal information? With that high requirements on top of that it could be end up as not that popular service.
1422  Economy / Gambling / Re: A Discord Casino Gambling Bot on: September 02, 2016, 12:44:06 AM
I've recently created a discord gambling bot. It currently features slots but more casino games will be added in the near future. The commands are simple overall.
Features:
- Discord server owners get 5% profit from withdrawals
- Instant deposit | +bank deposit
- Easy withdrawal | +bank withdraw amount btcaddress
- And lots more!

All you have to do to play is either join it's official discord or add it to your own discord.

It's easy to get started. All you have to do once you add it, or join it's server is type +help

To add the bot to you're discord:
https://discordapp.com/oauth2/authorize?client_id=220316410558021633&scope=bot

To join the bot's official discord:
https://discord.gg/3ptbhgf
We have awflly lot of Discord Bots popping out lately couple days ago we had this bot introduced: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1596769.0
Pardon my newbie question as I am not a discord expert but how is yours bot different from it? Also I am not sure, maybe this software can be harmful in any way?

Edit: Apparently I was late with posting this question about similarities between these bots.

Links to these bots are different... so either he is trying to promote it as different tool and is someone else or it is harmful? I have no idea.
I am not willing to test it as I am not a discord user.
1423  Economy / Speculation / Re: What did I tell you? BTC will stay down under $600 on: September 02, 2016, 12:19:12 AM
Yes it's not going so well right now but we have to keep  high hopes and just wait it out i think 2017 will be a better year bitcoin wise.
I honestly don't know why people are complaining and expecting a boost. Haven't you all forgot already that weeks before the halving bitcoin price oscillated around $440?
Now it is sitting at stable $~570, you want even more? If not by halving we would be back to $300 after that Bitfinex hack, be happy with what we have now.

1425  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Gambling is Fun? on: September 01, 2016, 11:48:36 PM
Gambling is  fun only when you are winning. But then again, if you won't try it then you won't ever have a chance to taste how winning is like.

Also please stop saying that gambling is fun only for gambling operators - if that was the case then gambling wouldn't be as popular as it is now.

1426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can gambling help you with your life? on: September 01, 2016, 11:45:35 PM
Gambling helps me to be happy. Other than that, its all negative. Gambling is just a form of entertainment to me. Although i dont really gamble that much. Its make me excited and happy. My emotions are mixed and i like that. Most of my plays are bad but its okay for me. As long as i enjoyed playing.
yes we can take the positives from gambling. gambling could give us a quick wealth. honestly I happily have to know online gambling, with gambling I can make my life better. all my family happy smiles.
Do you actually know anyone, anyone at all who gained wealth by gambling? It seems that becoming rich by gambling is more of an urban legend.
At this point  I honestly don't believe that there is out there someone who was once poor and gained all his wealth by gambling.

1428  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to win gambling with no lose? on: August 30, 2016, 11:46:37 PM
The only possibility when you will earn on every bet it to bet on every possible outcome - this method is called arbitrage betting.
Sport betting with this method can be a valid method of earning money if you know how to it correctly - you will always gain profits.
1429  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bankroll Management Challenge! on: August 30, 2016, 11:25:47 PM
I see many comments that 5% it too low/high. And tha Op should change it to 2%, 10% or any other number.
But how exactly you guys deciding that if still don't know how much exactly this 5% is? As far as I know Op didn't tell us the most important fact.
1430  Other / Meta / Re: I just Googled Bitcoin and bitcointalk.org was on page 6! on: August 30, 2016, 12:24:19 AM
6! This has got to be one of the biggest sites and definitely the biggest English speaking forum (I can't speak about other languages). How can we increase this? No wonder I didn't hear about this forum for months when I was a bitcoin newbie!
I am not sure if you realize that google searches are personalized. It depends on location, previous searches, browsing history etc.
There are many factors which determines site positioning. For example: if I seek word "bitcoin" - bitcointalk appears on top of 4th page.
1431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: what is definition gambling in your mind? on: August 30, 2016, 12:05:40 AM
Gambling in my book is: hoping for the best but expecting the worst at the same time.

What else you classify game where you put money on the line? Without sufficient data outcome of every gambling activity is totally unpredictable.

1432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the easiest way to make a profit from gambling? on: August 29, 2016, 11:45:39 PM
there are no easy ways of making money in my opinion with gambling, because you will lose sooner or later
And you are only a winner? You never lose? It is the way of life. Sometimes you won sometimes you learn. Same with gambling.
That is wise to not play under influence of emotions and instead pick your bets with a brain.

Playing Dice with the same strategy everyday in the end won't be very profitable...
1433  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many money did you spent in gambling in a day? on: August 29, 2016, 11:31:13 PM
But in the past I have gambled upto 14 BTC on one bet.

holy moly. did that pan out well? even if i had that type of money to throw around i don't think i could bring myself to lay that much down.
Well, different measures for different people. He could be bored early adopter sitting on 1000+ BTC. So betting 0.01% of his total BTC is nothing huge.
There are, after all rich people out there. For me it is overwhelming amount of money, so I would rather die from heart attack than bet 14 BTC in one go.
1434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 1337Casino.com - WIN UP TO 6MILL 1337 PER SPIN ON THE 1337SLOTS! on: August 29, 2016, 12:48:46 AM
Also I noticed something interesting. You use the same background as other site I visited yesterday uses. Have a look: http://hityourbit.com/
This kind of generic background usage is not really a good sign. It screams: "we are cheap casino based on free scripts and copied backgrounds etc.".

You can't do anything on your site unless you are registered. It is quite bothersome. I don't want to register to be able to see 'deeper'.
Things like ToS, FAQ, Provably Fair presentation should be visible for everyone right away. Are you gonna add demo mode for guests?
1436  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling on: August 29, 2016, 12:29:19 AM
hi guys,I heared about gambling and i have some questions.
what is the best gambling site?
is gambling safer from invest in bitbond and loanbase or the oppsite?
how many i can get from those sites( from-->to)?
is there is a bigger chance of get lose instead of win?
Thanks a lot.

1. There is nothing like best gambling site. We have however some very respected and well known services and if you want to try bitcoin gambling I advise you to try them first:
PrimeDice.com , coinroll.com , satoshidice.com and rollin.io for Dice, Betking.io and FortuneJack.com for casino games, nitrogensports.eu, directbet.eu and sportsbet.io for sportbetting.

2. Gambling is very risky. You can however set your risk by playing different games or types of bets.

3. Your gain is dependent on your bankroll.

4. Again it depends. You can set Dice to have 90% win chance if you like.
1437  Economy / Speculation / Re: Dump or long term goals? on: August 29, 2016, 12:21:28 AM
I think investing some part of your bitcoins , and holding the remaining part, would be the right choice. This way you make earning in the short and long term.
Investing where? Because I see all the time people are commenting that it it wise to diversify their financial portfolio and invest bitcoin.
But I rarely see any specific examples. You are investing in ICO, casino bankroll, mining, other projects?
1438  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you can control your self when playing gambling? on: August 29, 2016, 12:01:05 AM
Well as have a children i can control my self because i need money i know i just wasting my time and also my money in gambling for nothing so i just gamble there for fun with few small amount of capital..
Good example.

You need to set your life priories first. It is fine if you are a bachelor living alone and if you go crazy with your gambling session once or twice the only person who will be hurt is you.
But as family man this is unacceptable to risk your family finances for your excessive gambling rampage. And you don't have to gambler everyday.
If you lose your money while gambling once a week or a month is the same as you would gamble everyday. Don't do it.
1439  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: August 28, 2016, 11:46:53 PM
its not wrong because people can do whatever they want with their money
So use your money to buy an assassin contract to 'clean up' somebody... If you have money that doesn't mean you can do whatever you want with it.
You are bound to rules and laws of society, your own common sense and conscience. And you can overdose gambling very easily, even if you still have plenty of money left.
1440  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who can tell that when our luck come to us? on: August 28, 2016, 11:43:26 PM
The only rule I know to help a luck find us is to be active. But a lottery ticket once in a while. Play in casino sometime when you feel like it.
Help your luck that way. Other than that you can tinker with your luck. And if you lost couple bets it means that it is not your day... Give up.
