Did I missed something? Rambo was replaced with Najam Sethi. You are saying that he got back his position, which I am not aware of. As far as I know, Ramiz is working with some of the TV channels to cover Border Gavaskar Trophy and he doesn't hold any position with PCB at this point. But his absence would be a big blow to the PCB. During his stint, he made so many revolutionary changes (although some of them like the Pakistan Junior League were not very successful), and also increased the PCB revenues by manifold.
Unfortunately Ramiz Raja was replaced by Najam Sethi who is a journalist (and works for current government as journalist). It was a reward for him for doing pro PML-N journalism. Raja is facing hard time under Sethi as he was not included in commentators panel during Newzealand tour to Pakistan and now also not in PSL 8 commentary panel. |

If India gets to 400, then there is a 80% to 90% probability that they don't need to bat again. The track is already giving a lot of assistance to Todd Murphy (although the incompetent Nathan Lyon didn't managed to use any of that). The combination of Ashwin-Jadeja-Axar is going to break the back of Australians when they come to bat again (today second session?). Australians didn't prepared well for this tour. It was surprising to note that they refused to play even one warmup match before the first test, citing packed schedule.
India 399 at the moment and this took lead to 222. Defiantly India is in full control of this match and with one wicket remaining can Axer Patel be able to score his first Test hundred? Todd Murphy has got 7 wikcets on his Test debut but I don't think they will be of any use for Australia. I know I don't belong here as I am from Pakistan (I use google translator to figure out that this thread is for Turkey Earthquake relief fund). I was here to pay my condolence and support to my Turkish brothers and sisters in this crisis.
We people in Pakistan are fully aware of this situation and aid from Pakistan is on its way. Turkey is always the first country to help Pakistan in every crisis. I am sure Turkey is strong nation and they will come out stronger from this natural disaster.
As far as donation is concerned, my one day salary is being deposited to Relief Fund setup by Government of Pakistan. I hope my small contribution will help someone in Turkey.
May Allah help people of Turkey in this tough time.

You are forgetting a couple of facts.
First of all is that China has been increasing its imports of energy (among other resources) for a long time as they are expanding their economy. So this is not something that started in 2022.
Secondly both of these countries have friendly relationship with Russia. There is not enough benefit in blowing up this pipeline for any of them considering that would ruin that relationship. That's crazy to even consider their involvement.
That is while US doesn't have any relationships with Russia and there is no risk or negative consequences for US regime to blow this pipeline up. There are only benefits. As I said, it's that simple.
India has no doubt great ties with Russia. India is taking advantage of current discount which Russia is offering. They imported at an average of 1.2 million barrel per day in December 2022 which is 29% more them what they bought in November 2022. Moreover there oil import from Russia has gone up by 33% then year before, according to Bloomberg. Atleast India is importing more oil from Russia due to current crisis in which Russia is selling oil on discount. Meanwhile Iran is preparing to drill for its second highest gas field in Kish. More energy coming to Iran in the form of natural gas. |

But think which country has replaced Russia as a big gas supplier to Europe? And who would be screwed if Russia resumed supply gas to Europe like before helping them not-need extremely expensive US LNG anymore? It is obviously US! It's that simple.  But there are countries who have taken decisions for there benefits in this crisis like India and China. Both countries are buying cheap Russian oil. Russian oil was 20$ cheaper then what is sold in international market in Sep 2022 and 33$ cheaper in November 2022. It's not about that. Their politicians are faced with all bad options, some are worse than others so they try to choose the option with the least negative consequences. Unfortunately that option is to not-complete this pipeline (which leads to energy shortage, high prices, inflation and economical hardship). Last time there was progress on this gas pipeline was in Mar 2013 when the then President of Pakistan along with Irani President inaugurated the construction of gas pipeline. Pakistan People Party was ruling party at the moment and they did this ceremony on very last moment of there tenure. Soon after that there is General elections in Pakistan and new party PMLN came into power and project once again was sidelined. This pipeline can suppy 750 million cubic feet of gas to Pakistan on daily basis enough to resolve Pakistan energy crisis. |

Well.. I guess it is OK. His personal stats look excellent now (I guess that is the only purpose of this series). Before this test match, he had 160 test runs at an average of 40.00. Now his stats are 382 runs, at an average of 76.40. Shivnarine Chanderpaul played his first test when he was 19 years old. Tagenarine took seven more years, but still has the potential to become a great test player. His real test will come once he starts playing against the pig-4 teams, away from home. But then, he performed credibly during the Australian tour (his first two matches).
51, 45, 47 and 17 are his stats in 2 test against Australia. There is still one more test to be played and Tagenarine has a chance to improve his batting stats further. Shivnarine played in era when we only have test and ODI cricket and it looks like Tagenarine is a genuine test batsmen. In current time there is more demand for T20 batsmen then for a genuine test batsmen. |

Most of the ICC revenues come from tournaments such as the ODI World Cup. So in case PCB refuses to send a team, then the ICC may retaliate and withhold the funds that are provided to the PCB. In case of Asia Cup, the funds go to ACC and therefore India can afford to pull out of that tournament. But I agree with the suggestion here. PCB can request compensation from the ACC if the tournament is moved out of Pakistan. But I don't know whether that will be a viable option, because the ACC is not a very rich board.
If India is not coming to Pakistan for Asia Cup then they will surely not come for ICC championship trophy next year and what will ICC plan for that? Well ICC can't do anything in front of big 3. There is no confirmation from PCB side regarding there participation in ODI worldcup though majority is in favour of not to participate regardless of consequences. |
