1421  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Fengshui on: August 01, 2022, 06:06:48 AM
We are all superstitious its inherent to us as human beings, even if it is not Fengshui like shamanism or any religion they will always connect something into it to have good luck and be guided in a path of uncertainty, but Fengshui is not only about superstitious like what I've been saying it has something to do with harmonious and clear thinking, I do believe in Fengshui but I am not a serious practitioner but I notice people who seriously practice Fengshui are happy, clean people and very meticulous on how they place things and check up dates for their activity.
Superstitions apart, fengshui does exist and works, at least from an harmonic, welfare point of view, as people feel much better and even more inspired at organized environments where the colors, items positions and layouts match with each other.

The environment affects and impacts our productivity and desire for improving our skills and the results we can achieve through them at every activities of our routine.

Regards gambling, I fear fengshui will be useful only to improve gamblers' confidence and pleasure of the betting experience, since outcomes don't depend on them, but on luck.

Gamblers confidence thinking that by following fengshui ideas will give them higher chance of winner.

No accurate relation and only inside a gambler's mind that he can win if he will choose to follow the position that according
to fengshui experts is what is best during their gambling sessions.

more on superstitions and no one can prove that it will work and help any gambler that will use this kind of setup.
1422  Economy / Economics / Re: You don't earn money only from others, but also when you avoid spending your own on: August 01, 2022, 05:49:31 AM

It's just a matter of self-discipline. Once you earn or receive a huge amount of funds, you should automatically allocate enough savings to keep. You have to know your spending limits and keep yourself away from things that you don't really need. Spend wisely and handle your funds the smart way because you will also be the one who will benefit in the end. Always think of your future.
Yes, by saving your money, you'll be able to get a good future ahead, if you know how to control

and you are good at spending with what you need and what you want. Along the way, lots and lots of spare will be converted
to a good amount enough to invest or to allocate for your needs.

Learn this kind of attitude, then you'll be able to manifest with the right thing for financial securities.
1423  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 01, 2022, 05:14:03 AM
Rest In Peace to Bill Russell. One of the best champions to ever grace the NBA court. This news will no doubt be heartbreaking to the NBA family and I’m sure the Celtics and the NBA as a whole will be dedicating this upcoming season to the legend. There will be one hell of a tribute to Bill. He was the definition of winning and a team player during his time in the league with the Celtics. A legend for sure.
Sad day. May he rest in peace. Let's not also forget his attendance during big events of the league. Even at his age, he was always there to support the sport that he loved.

https://twitter.com/NBAHistory/status/1392911563779198983?s=20&t=RvukkLSJtaM-RmZ4Ppb4qQ
Nice clip. Two great players now resting in peace.
Bill and Kobe talking about how they watch games and players.
Great moments. They will not be forgotten.

They will not for sure, both legends contribute a lot to this sport, Bill as Bill and Kobe as Kobe

Unreplaceable players who really influenced the league. It's saddened, but it's about time. He already lives that long enough to
share views and his own knowledge about this sport.

Bye for now, the rest of the NBA fans will continue to remember all of your contributions and all those unforgettable stats
that will remain forever..
1424  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: July 31, 2022, 11:50:30 PM
Yeah, so far it's very hard to really see where this is going. On the other hand, others are very excited, including myself to hear at least a very encouraging news from the head of showtime boxing.

On the other hand, if the fight is at a standstill and no one is willing to give an inch as far as money is concern, then this might never happen. Not sure what will be the best option for Crawford at this point since PBC has the most number of 147 lbs.

One of them needs to adjust to finalize the contract and for the fans to witness who's the best from this division.

Crawford, though, is the one that being pointed for certain adjustment since Spence seems to keep avoiding him, if he's willing
to push the fight adjusting with the pay-cut is the best thing that he can do to push Spence and his camp to sign the contract
for them both to start their real trainings.
1425  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 30, 2022, 04:13:03 PM

But now, seems to be different, there are players that talk loyalty, but at the back of their mind, they wanted huge pay and that's why players like Draymond might have that mindset. Loyalty will not bring them money and so be if. Look for teams that will offer them the money they want.

It will secure their future if they can sign the max contract that they wanted to have,

there's no assurance if how long you can stay healthy or if by fate shit happens and you get a major injury that will change the
direction of your career.

It's not just Green, but there are other stars or feeling to be a star who will ask for higher pay rate and there are teams who are
willing to bring that contract to take the player onboard.
1426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be a wise investor on: July 30, 2022, 04:06:31 PM
Yeah, there is nothing wrong with taking a profit when the market is at its peak, this is something that varies for individuals, some people don't want to take a profit until the price reaches their target, and others do so when there is a reasonable rise in price.
From my little experience as an investor in this space for some time now, it is best to take profit, especially during the peak period of a bull run, once that period ends and the bear market comes in, you will be filled with regret for not making the move when you had the opportunity.
greedy could make our profits become loss, some traders or investors didnt understand how to exit from market and when it reach peak they still hold it. knowledge in entry or exit position was an obligation for each traders or investors and also set target how profit our position will closed. i have bad experience about it so now i am always set target although in several stage.

Indeed, having a good understanding of how the market works will give you a better view to decide whether to keep

on holding or you already needed to sell your assets, both pump and dump always have a good timing. Being wise means that
you have good knowledge from what you are doing.

It will guide you to earn decent profits when you are into this kind of investment. Always put more time in doing your research
before diving into any types of investment.
1427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 WNBA Discussion and Betting on: July 30, 2022, 03:42:24 PM
I'm a basketball guy but not a fan of WNBA but it's good that you have created a thread about this so I'll learn more and be acquainted with the players and teams so that i could bet in the future while waiting for the NBA to open.

edit:

researched a bit about WNBA and found out that Las Vegas Aces is the favorite to win this season's championship so I'll watch out their every game from now on.

Yes, the thread is good to see how other bettors pick their bets in WNBA,

Not a good fan of this league, but like you while waiting for the NBA to start aside from local basketball games, WNBA
is also a good place to bet.

Just need to do some research and see how things work from this league. Info are also available online, so it will
be interesting to start sparing some extra coin here.
1428  Economy / Economics / Re: You don't earn money only from others, but also when you avoid spending your own on: July 30, 2022, 03:23:40 PM
Usually people get anxious and frenetic for new sources of income, to find new jobs, so they can maximize their patrimony as soon as possible, but many of them forget you don't accumulate wealth only when receiving money or being paid by others for a work. We can also decrease our expenses and stop third-partying tasks we can do ourselves, so at the end of a monthly cycle we will have earned more money to invest and make it grow overtime.

People create so many worthless fixed expenses nowadays. It can be monthly subscriptions of services they barely use, eating out too often, purchasing superfluous clothes, accessories and items in general just for vanity towards the society. Sometimes people have all the tools they need on their hands to finish a solid building, however, since they don't know how to use them properly, it will look like they constantly need more and more tools indefinitely.
Saving is also a good way to earn more, but unfortunately most of the people find it hard to save even those who are big earners in the society. Maybe one reason is that they always spend more than their income, so even if they have other resources of income, earning and saving money is still not possible. Where in the real fact is, you will also earn more if you start to manage your funds and buy only those things that are necessary. But of course, having investments or another sources of income gives you bigger chances to earn and save more money to grow.
Converting your spare to investment can grow your initial capital. I mean, if you will use your money the right way,

the chance of gaining passive income is doable, instead of overspending your income if you find the right way of investing
you can increase your savings.

It's not easy though since there is a different culture that all of us have, it will be depend on how we control our own
self in spending our money and start to be wiser about finding ways to invest.
1429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you know when to sell? on: July 28, 2022, 04:51:03 PM
We have different preferences in selling but as for me, I rely on the target goal that I have set upon buying. I set a target price as a basis for when I'm going to sell my holdings regardless of the possible price hike of my coin of choice. Once the coin reaches my price goal, I sell and reinvest again when the price strikes down. You should always follow your goal and don't let greed lead you to the wrong path.

It is important to set that target and have a decent control over your emotions, never to allow greed and fear dominates.

If you have that goal and you are all in meeting that expectations, you can always hold and be contented with
the result of your investment. Unlike if you don't have that kind of system, you are mostly like gambling with
your investment and probably lead you to losing your money.
1430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How good is staking coins? on: July 28, 2022, 04:14:45 PM
I think everyone that willing to stake their capital and investment for staking with long time period in order to make some great returns should think in regard of the volatility that could eats up their generated returns from the staking since currently the trend is still looking grim.
It's unlike in bullish where staking could also get your investment increase in value, most of the time right now majority of coins are losing value, therefore it's gonna be hard decision in staking with locking period since there could be meaningless
Not bad on staking on bear markets and since we know that APY percentage is considerable compared to banks then you would able to accumulate in equivalent in todays price and when the value increase then you

would definitely earning more than on what you have anticipate which is the pros of staking but of course it would really same goes when the market turns out to be bearish or declining even more.

The only thing i dont like about staking is just too long for us to wait but its a personal choice since there are people who could really deal up with long term investment.
Just mind off about the risk and if you could bare out on the risk then go ahead and invest.

Yes, there are people who understand and are willing to take the risk of waiting for a longer time.

They are aware that if they can hold and earn from staking, there's also a chance that the amount or the value of the coin they are
holding will rise and bring them more benefits.

Staking is a personal choice of some investors who deal with their research. They are good at waiting and earning from the stake rewards.
1431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 - September 17 on: July 28, 2022, 10:33:40 AM

Yeah, as what we say, numbers don't lie, and GGG punch output was sure enough to put him on the W column against Canelo, but the judges thinks otherwise. And most of the boxing fans also see GGG winning the first.

And that was critical as well, tainted meat and PeD's accusation on Canelo which he clearly dismisses and the organization sided on him (maybe bias again???). Enough for the fans to really trigger something that they want GGG to win in this fight.

Fans will always aim to see GGG taking down Canelo. They will be more on the side that GGG is really a good competitor to Canelo.

We will only know if they are right or it's still Canelo will win and will put a dot on this matter,
The good catch here, if GGG wins, it's possible to have another money fight for both fighters
with how eager the fans promoters will use that great advantage to make more money from these
two warriors.
1432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 28, 2022, 10:10:58 AM

But the thing with KD is, he bolted out from the Warriors because he wanted his own team, so he did go to the Nets and instrumental on bringing Kyrie as well. But we have seen how disastrous it is, and now he wanted to join another successful them. So again, he will be what others call a bus rider, because he join team that is already strong in the first place. And having him bolster their chances to win a championship like the Suns or Heat, but at what cost.

He never cares. As long as he will get his paycheck and he will win another ring, nothing will change that.

KD is not minding what critics are saying, what matters on him is playing with a strong team and make his way to another title
and a possible another finals MVP, which is always possible as he was known as offensive players that makes good percentages
of converting it into a basket.
1433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2022 is the time to buy or sell? on: July 27, 2022, 05:01:44 PM
If you look at the market that has continued to drop since ATH at the end of 2021, it looks like 2022 is the year to buy, and we can see the fact that many traders are successful because they buy when they dip and sell when they get profit, the market then dips again and this is an opportunity good to buy and use for staking.

They are just repeating the same system and it works well for them, if you know how to anticipate well

you can also do the same, buy when the market is collapsing, then sell when you see strong market movement. There's always good
profits that will be generated when you buy at the dip and sell at the peak.

So far, we still seeing low comparing from the last time high, there's a big opportunity that you can earn if you buy from this level
and wait till the market bounces back stronger.
1434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Among all which do you hold on: July 27, 2022, 04:21:12 PM
Among the other cryptocurrency and still Bitcoin is the best to hold for a long time since the value really gets much higher as years pass by. And, only selected altcoins are good for a long-term hold. The risk is still there but buying while in a bear market is a wise decision with a combination of DCA.
Even though the market declined significantly this summer but still we should invest using the DCA combination method, if you are investing in BTC or other top altcoins for holding, I suggest not to rush from temporary recovery patterns as market movements are unpredictable, should considering the area of BTC is lowest at $17k or could drop lower, I applied the investment strategy of the DCA combination method for the first phase 30% under $20k and the rest looking for opportunities to buy at prices lower than $17k.

You need to have a deeper understanding of how the market behaves and try to create a good strategy

that you think that will work and favor your investment, there are many experienced traders who have a good glimpse of
anticipating the next market run.

They are capable of placing good portions of their investment in a trial position and make a good adjustment once they
have seen the possibilities with their set targets.
1435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does staking even make any sense on: July 27, 2022, 03:42:11 PM

If we want to get passive income with low risk, maybe staking coins is worth trying. But we should not expect too high by assuming staking is
a way to become a millionaire, because the interest rates on staking are very low, so usually the income obtained from staking is relatively small.
If we want to become a millionaire, it's better to just trade, but the risk is certainly higher. Maybe when compared to storing fiat in a bank,
staking coins is still a little better. The most important thing when we plan to staking coins, make sure the platforms that will be used have a good
and trusted reputation. In addition, popular coins for staking must be a priority, besides being much safer, because usually popular coins will grow
and are likely to continue to rise in value. So in conclusion staking still makes sense for us to do and can provide additional income safely.

Indeed, the stake rewards are just a portion, but yes, it's passive and we never know what the project will deliver.

There are chances that the coin will fly, and it's really good to see that you have a staking asset that you can withdraw and sell
when your target value is already been achieved.

There are traders who managed to have a joy ride using staking coins, though it's not too many, but there are lucky traders
who got into the project in their perfect timing of pumping the value.
1436  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: July 27, 2022, 03:35:57 PM
Is Bivol interested in having a rematch with Canelo? After their fight, Bivol told in the interview, that if they meet again, he will ask for a much, much more "interesting" offer. Google say, that Bivol got 2 millions and Canelo 15. I believe their second fight will happen, if their promoters will find a balance between lowering Canelo reward and increasing Bivols. But I think Bivol is more interested in obtaining new titles, than earning.

From what I heard, Bivol is yet to receive any money from his fight against Canelo. He was supposed to receive some $5 million (including his share of PPV purchases), but due to the sanctions against Russian sports people, the payment couldn't be processed. And Canelo Alvarez pocketed some $55 million from the fight (including $40 million from PPV sales), despite losing the match. Obviously Bivol doesn't want such a lop-sided distribution for the next match. And I can't blame him. No one would agree to such one-sided deals.

Oh I wasn't aware that Bivol hasn't received his prize money, that huge for him though, and it could be his biggest payday to date.

And I agree, Canelo has been talking about his rematch with Bivol already and hopefully Bivol could at least double what he got or more from the first fight since he has won the first one already. Doesn't make sense if he will still received the same amount of money.

It doesn't make sense if Canelo will still get that big slice after losing to Bivol.

Though we all can agree that fans will be buying tickets and views from PPV because of him, but Bivol deserves something more,
maybe his camp will ask for 60/40. Fair enough for winning the first fight and since it's Canelo's rematch call, then his camp is the one who needs to adjust with Bivol demands.
1437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 27, 2022, 02:52:04 PM
If that's the case then KD will remain to play with Kyrie and they just need to fix their play to make it different from the last season where they really struggle to synchronize and have some chemistry issues with the new traded players.

Honestly, I don't expect the Nets can do something impressive next season, even if Irving and Durant will stay on the team. The problem is that Durant might not perform as well, and he might also have some issues with his teammates after all since he has expressed his desire to leave the team. At the same time, Irving seems to be unpredictable. I mean, if there's another pandemic and mandatory vaccinations, Irving will probably miss part of the season because of his beliefs again.

That will hurt the Nets fans and they will hate Durant. As an NBA player, he is paid and he has to perform, otherwise the team could penalize him or will be force not to pay him if he will deliberately perform lower than his capacity just to send a message to the team that he should be traded.

The organization should have strict rules for any players that will not play properly or deliberately.

Aside from penalizing or not being paid, the league should also have long suspensions for players not demand that much after
signing the contract.

It's insane since Nets invested a lot of money in KD during his rehab and now that he's much healthy, he should play for them
and bring the best for this franchise.
1438  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: July 27, 2022, 02:11:12 PM
Not sure though what his association with Floyd as they have been seen in public together?

Maybe Crawford and Mayweather Jr. have an agreement that they don't want to disclose in public. Way back a few months, Mayweather told the public that if the fight will happen officially, he's the one that will announce it first and only believes in him, not another announcement by anyone.

Adding to that, he also said that he/they will promote the fight. Mayweather won't just promote the fight without any advantages or benefits to him. He won't be called "Money" for nothing. We can now assume that Mayweather holds the right of promotion to Crawford.

Very possible, Mayweather's influence will give him that edge to take care of these promotions.

He's not be called as money if he doesn't bring more to his pocket, whatever his role in this possible upcoming fight will generate
him more money.

It's just needed to wait for the final announcement and what will be the changes that will happen and when the fight takes place.
1439  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are we going to recover or continue to dump? on: July 25, 2022, 03:41:38 PM

Not that fan of market news and sentiments but basing on technicals.

Bitcoin price moves toward $24K and traders expect further upside, after a support retest
https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-price-moves-toward-24k-and-traders-expect-further-upside-after-a-support-retest

Speaking with technicals and support retest if this one breaks out then expect we would be heading on 30k level point
but not an assured thing to happen though.

Not assured indeed! the market went down again, and the direction is bearish.

Though the chance that it will move forward and try to bounce back is possible, it will depend now on how the traders and
investors see the possibilities and start to buyback.

Still a rollercoaster ride with market sentiments, you have to choose with your strategy and what system you will be using
to make some good outcomes.
1440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where should I invest money? on: July 25, 2022, 02:59:16 PM
if we are focus on the highest APY then I think that you have made a few mistakes in investing. because to invest is not only about the amount of money that we will get in a short time. but in my opinion the best investments are investments that are sustainable or have long prospects in the future. if you want to invest in anchor protocol then you have to make sure that the platform has good and sustainable prospects so that you can enjoy it for a longer time.
That's right, it's about how sustainable the investment is and he's said UST and we all knew what has happened to it. It was posted during a time when no one has expected that UST and Luna were going to be a dead project. There are also other platforms where people can invest if they're for the APY and staking, aside from anchor who has specific cryptocurrencies to invest in. In mycointainer, everyone has got various choices to stake. If you're for the savings, you can capitalize with your crypto as long as it's supported and in the choice to stake.
No one really expects that a lot of investors think that Luna is a haven for staking

the true risk behind every project that each investor needs to sort out before engaging and planning to invest their money in this
market, you have to pick each potential and not to put everything but instead try to work with other types of project that also
have good potential, so you can have an alternative in case another situation like this happens.
