14281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt Investment for 1 year on: June 03, 2018, 06:49:29 AM
I have no knowledge of the coins you mentioned above, but I believe holding neo and etherum coins within a year can be one of the best choices. because now these coins are popular and have the potential to be used as a long-term investment.

NEO is a direct competitor for Ethereum, and it is popularly known as the "Chinese Ethereum" (just like we call Cardano as the "Japanese Ethereum"). I am not sure about long-term, but I would definitely recommend it for the medium-term.
14282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is NEO still worth investing in? on: June 03, 2018, 06:37:45 AM
The exchange rates have crashed during the past few weeks for NEO. Earlier it was looking over-priced and now the valuation seems to be justified. In fact, NEO is looking more attractive now, than it was a month earlier.
14283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin under 1$ to invest in now? on: June 03, 2018, 06:35:10 AM
Indeed, you can put now in IOS tokens for the time being. Which is 1 IOS token = 0.05$. What's more, it is expanding as day cruises by. It may be justified regardless of the hold up of 2-3 years to hold this coin. Since, it may progress toward becoming 1 token = 1$ soon! For reference, you can find it and read the whitepaper. Likewise, the group behind it is great! Another coin is the XRP, which I think has numerous financial specialists on the grounds that numerous individuals believe that it can possibly remain in an indistinguishable stage from Bitcoin and ETH.

Hmm.. IOS token looks quite promising. I don't know whether it will give 20x returns or not, but the basics are quite strong and the stats are very encouraging. But I don't have the same opinion about XRP.
14284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt Investment for 1 year on: June 03, 2018, 06:33:10 AM
What are some of the alts that you feel can give high profits like 100x in a year, by the end of 2018.

Do Golem, Nem, DGB, Siacoin have that potential in them?

What will be your picks for a year long investment?

Golem and Siacoin seems to have gone dormant for the past few weeks. The exchange rates are either stable or declining and the trade volumes are also going down. NEM looks promising, but its recent stats are also not much encouraging.
14285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Got my rewards for first successful bounty campaign I joined on: June 03, 2018, 06:31:24 AM
OK... I checked the XPST prices, and you seems to have received more than 1 ETH worth of tokens. Congratulations! Such good bounties occur only once in a blue moon. Convert your tokens to ETH using Idex or Etherdelta, and enjoy!!!
14286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Altcoin be independent ? on: May 28, 2018, 01:48:23 AM
Bitcoin’s value does indeed affect the price of all altcoins since BTC/AltCoin trading pairs are the most commonly used and is usually the standard go to exchange pair on all cryptocurrency exchanges. So can Altcoin break all the relationship from bitcoin and run as a independent currency.

We've been talking about this ever since Litecoin was created in 2011. And till now, none of the altcoins have achieved any sort of independence from BTC. The only alt which shows signs of it is Bitcoin Cash (BCH).
14287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunting - work or a hobby? on: May 28, 2018, 01:44:04 AM
If it was a hobby, then the participants will be willing to participate in bounties even if the rewards are not significant. But that is not the case. We participate in the bounties, because we want to earn money.
14288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token bounty must hold or sell? on: May 27, 2018, 06:14:18 AM
Most of the time, bounty hunters dump it as soon as they get hold of their tokens. While some wait for it to make a good pump and then that's where they sold it. In my opinion, selling immediately has less risk of losing more value.

As far as the tokens are concerned, the pump-and-dump events may happen suddenly and may last for only a few hours. If you are not constantly following the coin, then the chances are that you are going to miss it. That is one of the reasons why users dump the tokens immediately after receiving them.
14289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What coins do you like besides Ethereum? on: May 27, 2018, 06:10:22 AM
Listing a few out of more than 10,000 different altcoins and tokens is never going to be easy. But still, I would give you the list of some of my preferred coins. They are the following:

1. Cardano
2. NEO
3. Deep Onion
4. Litecoin
5. 0x
6. Stellar Lumens
7. Monero
8. Bitcoin Cash
9. Qtum
10.NEM
14290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Verge can do better in future? on: May 27, 2018, 04:39:20 AM
XVG already had its pump and dump and a lot of early adopters offloaded their coins during that event. I am not sure when the next event will occur. But recently, I am hearing interesting things about this coin.
14291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to protect your altcoin on: May 27, 2018, 04:26:35 AM
What is the best methods to protect altcoin from hacker?

I am storing most of my altcoins in the exchange wallets. So enable 2FA and other security features in your exchange wallet, if you want to keep your coins safe and secure. If you are using wallets such as MEW, then make sure that the private key is secure.
14292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth it to continue? on: May 27, 2018, 04:25:03 AM
I am at the point where confusion is at its boiling point. I had been very optimistic about the future or bounty campaign and crypto but almost all people who are way more ahead than me were saying that it is pointless and even them are not receiving or earning thus their efforts are not paid off. I am just worried that I will end up like them. I did all and everyday following the ways to promote and is following procedure. Is this really worth doing for? I am not forcing them to give us big time since they are not forcing us to either, I just wanted to really express myself because even my partner in life is not believing on what I am doing. Sad

Even I have noticed that a lot many of the bounty campaigns are not paying out the rewards to its participants. The big problem is that unlike the signature campaigns which pay in Bitcoin, the bounty campaigns are not required to keep any of their tokens or ETH in escrow.
14293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Huge tokens during Bounties on: May 27, 2018, 04:10:41 AM
I noticed a just ended bounty campaign and a participant got 80K tokens. I was wondering what h will do with that token. I want to know what happens when bounty hunters gets more or huge tokens during campaigns.

The number of tokens doesn't matter much. What is the point in getting 80K tokens, if they are not traded anywhere in the exchanges? And this happens a lot of times to the bounty participants. Sometimes they get worthless tokens and they remain in their wallets forever without any use.
14294  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are terrorists only muslim in religion? on: May 26, 2018, 03:15:03 PM
Not every muslim is terrorist, but almost every terrorist is muslim!

Couldn't put it any better than this. 99.99% of the religion-based terrorism in the world is perpetrated by the Muslim groups. There are very rare exceptions such as the now defunct Irish Republican Army and the Lords Resistance Army.
14295  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Biggest Problem of your Country ?? on: May 26, 2018, 03:13:20 PM
The biggest problem of my country Nigeria is corruption. Once the issue of corruption is dealt with in my country, things will begin to work well and crime will reduce.

This is what happens when you elect officials according to their ethnic origin and religion. Nigeria is a very polarized country with constant fighting between various tribes and religious groups. Corrupt officials do make use of this opportunity to stay in power.
14296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP 2018? on: May 26, 2018, 11:49:03 AM
I think Germany is the heavy favourite. But who knows maybe spain can surprise everyone.

If you talk about the top 2 teams who have the greatest chance to lift this edition of the world cup, then it is going to be Germany and Brazil. And in my opinion Germany is having the advantage because their record in Russia is quite good.
The Brazilian players called for this World Cup are top performers on their respective clubs and I believe that other than the Germans, they are the second favorites to win the World Cup

So you are saying that Germany is the favorite to win this world cup and Brazil is behind them in the probability. I would agree with you, although the betting sites may differ. Because historically, we have over-rated teams such as Brazil.
14297  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: IPL( Indian Premier League) Prediction Thread, 2018. on: May 26, 2018, 11:44:28 AM
As per my prediction, it will be KKR v/s CSK in this final and CSK will win with very small margin. CSK got a great amount of luck, if you call it as LUCK Roll Eyes and they have a great chance of winning.

It is going to be tough for KKR. Because SRH made a massive total of 174/7, with Rashid Khan scoring 34 off just 10 balls in the end. A lot will depend on the opening pair of Lynn-Narine.
Always Rashid khan win with his ball now this time he made an important knock at the end overs which helped SRH to reach a good total and later on they bowled well and keep taking wickets at the early innings made them to defend their total with ease. Now again one more time CSK vs SRH.Big match is coming on Sunday.

SRH will be the favorites, but CSK won't be very disappointed even if they lose the finals. They were banished from the IPL for two years and on their comeback they have given such a scintillating performance.
14298  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why US is the most powerful country in world ? on: May 26, 2018, 11:39:42 AM
Rather than the military, it is the American corporations which make the US the most powerful country in the world. The US corporations such as McDonald's and Walmart are present in every nook and corner of the world.
14299  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will ever there be World Peace? on: May 26, 2018, 11:35:27 AM
The incidents of war are decreasing, as the education levels increase. Nowadays, the couples are having just one of two children each in most of the countries and therefore the value of human life has increased by quite a lot. So the people now are not that indifferent to the loss of life from wars.
14300  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why are some countries still so rich and others so poor on: May 26, 2018, 11:32:00 AM
Not all the countries are rich in natural resources. Take the case of Norway. The Norwegians happens to be one of the richest people on the earth, thanks to their abundant natural gas and petroleum resources. But the presence of natural resources alone doesn't guarantee that a particular country may remain rich. A perfect example is that of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
