14281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you bet on "Sports" games that you don't know? on: February 08, 2017, 05:01:48 AM
i prefer on sports that I know and follow. I will not put up without having knowledge of the team because it usually makes losing money

Yes it is the best thing to do, Just follow the sporst that you know so that you can't blame your mistake to others. Because if you'll bet on the sports that you don't know and you are just follower of a tipster thread. If you lose, then you'll blame the analysis and choice with that thread but its your choice, better to gamble what you know.
to me  although i mostly play gambling on such sports where i have good experience for example in foot ball and cricket i have good experience to gamble Because i know all the players and cricket team on international level.i know all the good and weak point of all the cricket and football players therefore i am very confident while playing gambling on such games but still some time i also play gambling on such game where i do not have any experience.

That's good thing for you but for me I need to check it out first if that game is suitable for me. I don't want to play games that I'm lack of knowledge and I just want to make sure that while betting I have the confidence and I know what I'm doing and betting. Because I don't want to blame myself whenever I lose for the games that I don't know.
14282  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to control emotion when you are on crucial part of gambling? on: February 08, 2017, 04:37:02 AM
In my side, I just let my emotions flow. I just go on with the flow as long as I know what I am doing, the right thing. But if you really can't control your emotions, then try to control your mind and let your physical acts like take a depth breath and just relax.
It is really hard control such emotions especially when you are winning alot of bitcoin or money, the same as losing, if you are losing a lot of bitcoin or money there are urges that come.up making us unstoppable on our gambling activity. More likely experienced gamblers are really good at this, controlling thyselves and others.

That's one of the toughest thing if you are winning on streak and you don't know what to do. Because you think that you can keep on winning with your luck. And if you are in this type of crucial game, just save some of your money and just keep on gambling until you think you are not comfortable anymore with yourself.
14283  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How did you started to gamble? What was your beginning like? on: February 08, 2017, 03:45:11 AM

My friend show me a online dice game once. He gave me a few btc to start with I won and give him back then I play the rest of the btc. From then on I was addicted to the dice game.
I wanted to know if you manage to grow the btc that was given to you by your friend? There are friends that are bad influence to us and I think that you should blame your friend because you are now becoming addicted in gambling.
It's everyone's decision to make

Well but we should be aware if our friends are doing good to us and they are attracting us into something that we are not really interested. But I guess it is also a fault for us, in everyone's decision because we know that it can make us have a bad habit. And instead of stopping, we are enjoying and keep on doing it. And it seems most of us here started with an influence of our friends.
14284  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain bitcoin to teenagers or children on: February 08, 2017, 03:33:29 AM
Explaining it to children must be not an epic-long-explanation., it must be brief and the best character might be 100 to 120. Children are bored to explanations especially when it is so  long. Teenagers in the other hand will be easy as log as you get their attention, mostly teenagers are being alert when it comes to money and earning some. That will be a great way to explain them.

Yes it must be brief because we know that children can't easily understand if we are going to explain bitcoin to them in a deep manner. But you shouldn't put some characters on it as long as you can explain it to the briefest and shortest way of explaining that will suffice them. And your main aim to them is just to explain.
14285  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: February 07, 2017, 01:06:52 PM
I dont think can make the bank is disappear
the bank is a great for a county and economic system to controling inflation and deflation
and not everyone knows about bitcoin, but everyone knows about banks.

Yes it cannot make the banks disappear because the government is on the back of the banking sector and they are not going to allow someone will make the banking sector gone. But I think that banks will adopt bitcoin and there are some banks now that are ready in accepting services with the use of bitcoin.
14286  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we have a bitcoin day? on: February 07, 2017, 12:57:01 PM
Every big event or thing, invention has a day to commemorate or its commemorative day https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_commemorative_days
I would like to call upon entire bitcoin community to make a bitcoin commemorative day also.
Something like World Bitcoin Day.
I hope this will bring bitcoin to more attention.

This is a good idea I hope some powerful people or officials will suggest this to pass in the congress for appreciation of bitcoins existence in this world or if they don't want to recognize it, maybe popular people who made the foundation of bitcoin strong or contributed big in crypto's can implement this. This is exciting.

14288  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If today was your last day, would you gamble everything? on: February 07, 2017, 11:46:50 AM
I wouldn't gamble in my last day. What the reason if I can't enjoy winnings next day?
I'd rather spent this time with family and friends. And probably have fun with money I've already had.
Well me either I won't gamble if today is my last day. I will going to make my last day before memorable and I'm going to spent my time to the most important people in my life. And I want to make them the happiest people in the world before my last breathe. I won't waste the last chance to say that I love them before I leave.

14290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit Gambling for Good, think for your loved ones on: February 07, 2017, 09:55:02 AM
Appreciate your story & circumstances but gambling is just a hobby to me, a bit of fun. I definitely know how to control it.

Most of us think that we could control ourselves and only have fun. But almost every addicted person think that he isn't addicted. You will only know about how big the problem is, when your life will have been already ruined with gambling.

I don't question those people that can manage to control themselves with it comes to gambling. Because that is the reality there are people that knows their responsibilities and they will just gamble to ease some boredom and when they can't do something. But when it comes supreme addiction then that's different a gambler should take action on it.
14291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How hard is it to start a new dice game with this market? on: February 07, 2017, 09:09:18 AM
I mean there are hundreds of bitcoin dice games, there are tens of known ones. Everyone plays at the same places.

That is because of the demand of gambling industry in bitcoin and it shows that bitcoin gambling is really on the trend because of its anonymity. And if there are gamblers that playing at same sites, they are satisfied with it.

If you were to start a new dice game, how could you attract people to play on your website?

Actually it is hard to attract people to dice in your site, but promo's and bonuses will attract them to play but satisfaction and gambling experience will always be the real deal.

I was thinking about starting a moneypot based casino with dice, hi-lo and so on but I am not sure if I can attract people to come to my casino. How can you do that?

Well that is investment, if you are not going to take the risk you won't know what will be the result. Take courage and go for it if you think that you can run it properly.

And I like your picks, although Wanted has good players and well known professional in the scene but they are still a new team that needs synchronization. I will go for all of your picks.
14293  Economy / Speculation / Re: When to invest? on: February 07, 2017, 08:21:49 AM
So when do you guys choose to go in for an investment into BTC?

When I had enough on my pocket and I wanted to make some profits.

I've just purchased abother 0.5 BTC today.

I've been waiting and waiting thinking that after the spike and breaking $1k we'd surely see a downward trend in Bitcoin and was hoping to invest when it took a dive.

I have divided thoughts for this, its either you bought because you had enough money and that's a good thing but you bought when the price is high, just expect it to increase more.
I especially thought that dive would come with the latest reports in the media that there's thousands of transactions caught up in a back log in the blockchain.
Always remember that media manipulates news, not all the time they are reporting the true news.

When this bear trend didn't occur I decided that I might as well just dump 0.5 into BTC now as didn't want it to increase and increase and be further and further behind.

When do you guys choose to dump money in? Do you think I made a poor decision and should have been more patient?

As of now, I really don't do dumping because I keep on holding those whales are the ones who are doing this.

I'm not a short term investor anyway, I'm in for the long run because I'm passionate about BTC and what it stands for, that being said I'm a little bit worried right now with scaling issues.

My worst fear would be that my investment becomes valueless (unlikely) or that it drops to $700 or below again.

Don't worry about any issues bitcoin is becoming stronger each day and probably it will be good at $900 for its flooring price.
14294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: February 07, 2017, 07:43:56 AM
If I win, I will withdraw earnings and transfer them in something real, the I can't bet with. I hope I will have enough patience not to continue betting, because when you too emotional it easy to lose everything.

We really can't say if we are going to bet it again or withdraw it immediately. Because tempt is always there even we badly want to withdraw our winnings but our minds are telling us to keep on gambling so that we can have chance of winning more and bigger amount. It always happens to me and I can't fight with that.
true , we will never can afford to control ourselves in gambling.

too much pressure there in game, you always imagine something good when you win and want more wining then when you lost struggling to recover the lost . things never went good in the end in this kind game of money.

Yes and when you think the momentum of winning is with you, for sure you are not going to waste that chance of keep on gambling. But just control yourself and always secure any amount that you had win so that you can already had enough to save. Just don't fall on temptation and follow your plan always and you are going to be fine.
14295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this man addicted to gambling? on: February 07, 2017, 07:06:10 AM
My close friend is 50 years old. He's never been addicted to anything throughout his life. His friend made a poker website and now he keeps playing there a lot. he also uses some free tickets to tournaments he gets from betcoin.ag signature campaign. He plays almost every day for a few hours. And he became more nervous in general. But he doesn't think he's addicted and his argument for that is that he can stop playing for a day or two (that's true) and he doesn't spend his own money on it at all. Would you call such a man addicted?

He is already on that way and whether you ask him if he is an addicted gambler or not he will not admit it. That's what addicted gamblers say all the time, that they are fine and they are not still addicted. But with your friends situation he is addicted but in a way that he doesn't spend his own money, but his time is in gambling for everyday.
14296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling vs Real Gambling on: February 07, 2017, 06:15:54 AM
For some, gambling is part of the vacation experience. It comes in the hotel/resort and provides entertainment for the guests.

That's for some and they prefer to gamble in real one rather than online. But there are also some that prefers to gamble online while they were on a vacation, for example if they are vacationing in a country where gambling is prohibited then they don't have choice but to gamble online and that can make them relieve their crave.
since online gambling are flexible i guess everyone love to do it online , as for some people especially an under age player they can't go to a real life casino. but you can do it even you are an animal in online gambling casino. so for me online gambling have more supporter and it's good for bitcoin as it seems that onlince gambling have a big contribution to bitcoin adoption.

It is an advantage for online gambling because there are kids that do know how to gamble already and they wanted to be satisfied by simply gambling. And that's their problem they can't get inside the casino, so they are just visiting the online casino's and gamble the bitcoins that they got or just simply buy bitcoins for gambling.

that is advantage for every people especially for kids so we should take care our kids to stay away from gambling, we should telling them that playing gambling is not good for them and we should watching and stay behind our kids so we can monitor while they are online in the internet.

Good thing that I'm not married yet and I don't have to kids to take care of. But it is also a threat to the parents once a kid starts out to think out of his curiosity. And when he knew out about online gambling that can be severe a little by little that can result into an addiction where we know kids are really hard to stop when they are already into it.

14299  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to increase BTC? on: February 07, 2017, 12:49:35 AM
In trading there are a lot of risks. Jump into a pump at the wrong time can lose money because the dump comes fast. So the right point for short trading is very important.

Trading is an investment and all of investments has risk even if you are just going to hold bitcoins, the risk is there. And that's why it's that hard to increase bitcoins depending on how you are going to focus on it. If you are a full time trader, you can grow it easily day by day monitoring your daily trades.
