The Dortmund - Mönchengladbach game was a very close one today.

Not really related to BVB game, but there were two instances again that always drive me nuts. You see more and more players lying down on the pitch, because they are cramping. Anyone who had a cramp in their life knows, that it feels very bad (Cheesy), but nothing life-threatening and it will eventually go away fast. I have no problem with players cramping, but what brings out the devil in me, is, the referee interrupting play for that. Why in the world is it necessary to stop playing, just because someone is cramping ?! Football (and all of sports) has become very sophisticated and fitness is a huge part nowadays. All pro athletes spend a good amount of their time taking care of their bodies, lifting weights, eating healthy. So when a player cramps, this is part of the game and bad luck (and bad preperation). You don't stop the game, when a player is exhausted towards the end of the game and thus is not able to follow his opponent no more, because he is too slow.

People will now say, this is fair play. But it's in fact the opposite, because lots of players/teams take advantage of fair play for time wasting in the late stages of a game. They remain laid down on the pitch for minor injuries, pretend to be seriously injured, take ages to make a throw-ins/corners/goal kicks. You often see them holding banners before kick-off proclaiming fair play, but during the game they seem to forget about it.

I am ok with referees blowing the game dead for head injuries and what looks like serious injuries, but otherwise don't fall for these hypocrites. I always give a good laugh, when a player gets tackled and appears to be nearly dying on pitch. After realizing, that no foul is given and the ref and other players make no move to stop the game, he just gets up, as if nothing happened Grin Must be really embarrassing.

I will propose the following rule change: In the 80th minute, the ref announces the injury time and the game will finish exact there (90+X). From that point on, game clock stops for throw-ins, goal-kicks, free-kicks, goal celebration, substitutions, injuries etc. It would make the game fairer, substituted players can get their deserved standing ovations, goals can get celebrated extensively etc. The broadcasting would still be planable, as I would assume the games only lasting longer for like maybe 5 minutes on average.

And get rid of that yellow card rule for taking off your jersey after a goal. That is maybe the most stupid rule I ever saw ! Football needs emotions. If I want to see well behaving athletes, I can watch Snooker.
1442  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Main Club Partner of Watford FC ⚽ Fun. 🏀 Fast. 🎾 Fair. on: March 08, 2020, 10:38:08 AM
Sorry Watford, but yeah LFC_Bitcoin is right, you need to explain what happened. You can beat United 3-0, you can beat Liverpool 3-0, but you lose games like this.

You can observe this in all of sports - a hangover. It can last for a short time, but also for a longer period. The 3-0 against Liverpool was such a big achievement, that players were just mentally empty afterwards (and even might have had a real hangover Wink). It's difficult to get back to normal business afterwards, you just lose your focus and it's normal human behaviour.

In NFL you talk about Superbowl hangover, so that one lasts for a whole season or longer. I once read a statistic that lower-ranked tennis players, who beat Roger Federer, lost like 90% of their matches in the next round, no matter the odds. In german Bundesliga you have the Hamburg derby between Hamburger SV and St. Pauli. It doesn't happen very often, since St. Pauli mostly plays in 2. Bundesliga and Hamburger SV in Bundesliga. One year St. Pauli promoted and they managed to get a draw in their home game. The away game they won 1-0 and they felt and celebrated like they just won the World Cup. This is also a political derby, so it was not only the players going crazy, but all the fans, the staff, the whole area in Hamburg where that club is located. Afterwards they were never able to get their focus back and lost match after match and were relegated again. Players and fans weren't even really annoyed about it - they got that away win at their arch rival and though the price to pay for it was high, it was worth it for that one triumph.
1443  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Discussion & Betting] Eurovision Song Contest 2020 on: March 08, 2020, 10:00:28 AM
I like Sweden song, but I'm not sure that such gospel style is Eurovision material.

I think every thing song/style is fine. ESC is about variety, uniqueness, crazyness and history has shown that a lot of different genres of songs can be successful at ESC. It's not always about winning, Top5 is a great achievement too already. But as said earlier, I too think, that it's not the song, that will give Sweden the best shot at winning the ESC. But if it's the song the swedish people like(d) the most, that is fine. It's by no means a bad song, but there were better ones imo. But anyway, you should be happy, since Sweden doesn't seem to be a competitior for Lithuania anymore Wink

Portugal will send Elisa with "Medo de sentir": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p-aAPJAr0gs

With such songs it's very important to understand the lyrics and thats quite difficult (=impossible) for non-potuguese speaking people. So I don't think Portugal will get past the semi-final.

Senhit from San Marino has posted her two possible songs on her website and you can vote which song should be presented at ESC:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5vWNm8R7rOo
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=crd8x_nbbJA

I think both songs aren't something special, but to show some support, I voted for Freaky. It won't matter which songs gets voted to Rotterdam, because she won't survive the semi-final anyway (at least odds of 600+ suggest that).

Thru the message number references?

Quote
Deposits without messages/with incorrect messages will be lost!

Well, yes, this seems to be the case. I just checked and you get different deposit addresses for BTC or ETH (and no messages). So my guess is, that all deposits land on addresses BETB2B is in control of. According to this post, it needs the approval from operators and BETB2B to process a withdrawal. So is it the operator or BETB2B who reguarly scam customers ? Or both working together ?

To solve this, you would need to know, who benefits from scamming. Does the operator only pay a fixed fee to BETB2B ? Is there a fixed percentage of revenue to be given to BETB2B ? The above mentioned post states that you have to pay a commission. So that would mean, that BETB2B has no interest/benefit in scamming people - they will only get their commission anyway.

Now they themselves could just scam their business partners by not approving withdrawals, if they want to make some extra money Wink

Unless Kawbet comes up with some clarification about the conditions of how this whole business model works in detail, we won't get to a conclusion imo.

OMG  Shocked the infamous (big) Mamas have won the swedish Melodifestivalen. WTF!

Well, that is really quite a surprise Shocked Tbf all girls (or should I say Mamas) are very good singers. I just don't think this song will give Sweden higher chances of winning ESC. Odds have gone up accordingly to 30+.

Bulgaria has revealed Victorias Song "Tears Getting Sober": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V_hgYnwZR8I

I like it, and now know why Bulgaria has been among the favourites all the time, but I am afraid that it will sound very different live.

Finland will send Aksel Kankaanranta with "Looking Back": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V1aFarZxWQM

Too boring to make any noise I would think. Odds 200+

With only few entries missing now, I still didn't find that one song I can cheer for (and bet on !). Lithuania is odds favourite for now and for my liking this is correct. I am curious about Russia though. From the previous songs from this band, I would think their yet to be revealed song could be very well liked by the audience in all Europe. Combined with some crazy stage performance, they could take the trophy home.

For those interested, here are the stats for the Free Picks that were posted here:

Staked: 102.00
Returned:  97.81
P/L: -4.19
W/L/P: 10-6-1
Yield: -4.11%

Good run this week, those two 10/10 losses in CL still hurt the stats, but it's on the right track. Blogabet stats look very good too - and they will always look better than the prematch only picks from here, since there is more value to be found inplay. Lets see where we/you are after 100+ picks, will give a more clear picture. GL

I do not really think this is about money, (...)

I agree with South Park, Brady has never particularly driven by the money.

Of course it's not about the money. Brady has played his whole career getting average money while arguably being the GOAT. It was his choice and for the love to the Patriots, but also easy to do, if your wife earns even more money than you^^

What I wanted to point out, is, that the Patriots (or Belichick) are creating a mess, where there is no need to. Lets assume Brady would be williing to play for 10mln/year for the Patriots. Now the Titans/Raiders offer him 25mln/year. Of course Brady is still not looking for the money, but he got the taste of what other teams are willing to offer him and how much they would value his services. So in his subtle mind this might still be present, when getting back into negotiations with the Patriots. Now maybe, he wants to have 15mln/year from the Patriots. Not from a money point of view, but for his pride. So Belichick probably drove the price up, while having no real backup plan (probably he has one, but I don't see it, maybe Rivers will go there Grin).

The new season of Major League Soccer started up last weekend, and I'm anxious to see how LAFC does.

Unfortunately the coverage of MLS is not very good here or the games are taking place during night hours. I always like to watch MLS when I am able to and put your thread on notification already. No fan of a particular team, just like the entertainment and the offensive-minded playing style of most teams.

Time for XFL again Grin

Houston should have no problems with Seattle, so not really interested in that one, but will watch nevertheless. If there is only few points scored come halftime, I will probably jump on the over. The New York at Dallas game is more interesting, too bad it's not the Giants and Cowboys. Dallas will miss Landry Jones for this one and that is why I will have a gamble on New York with small stakes. They were ok-ish last week and with Luis Perez at QB they looked way better offensively. They showed better balance and the running game was more productive due to being more efficient through the air. I expect to lose this bet, but odds are too high imo, lets see, 2.50-2.80 would be more reasonable.

Of course this is scam. Anyone coming here and promising 90%+ win rate with average odds of 1.5+ can't be taken for real. And while there certainly are fixed matches every day, no one is selling them publicly. Would be a dumb thing to do.

Account looks suspicious too:

  • February 2018 to May 2018: Just doing bounty reports.
  • No activity for nearly a year afterwards.
  • Two posts in May 2019.
  • No activity for 9 months then.
  • Account wakes up in March 2020 and comes up with this stupid thread and trying to fool people.

Don't invest a penny and just use this thread for entertainment purposes.

However, one thing I noticed is that there's a set of noob accounts that have been posting negatively in both the Kawbet and Malubit threads, which all very likely belong to the same person. Here are their names and registration dates (not a single merit between any of them): (...)

I noticed that too and it's quite bizarre. Both these threads look like a real shit-show and that alone would turn a lot of people off to play at these sites. So mission accomplished to some extent by these accounts.

I have played a lot at 1xbit, although I always knew about their shady business. The thing is, they will let you play and win for some time and build up trust with it. But there seems to be some threshold after which the modus operandi changes. This is a) when you keep on winning and withdrawing or b) when you start to deposit and stake bigger amounts.

For a) you might get lucky and they will pay you, if the final withdrawal amount isn't too high. If you don't make regular withdrawals and the funds in your account pile up, you might not get paid at all. They will make up some story and refer to their T&C's over and over with bot-ish responses. In the end you are being ignored by their chat and emails remain unanswered, account gets closed at some point.

For b) the end is the same as in a). But this is what they are really looking for imo. They want people to test their site a bit with smallish stakes. People see, that everything runs smooth, deposits/withdrawals are fast, live chat is responsive. The user gets confident enough to deposit bigger amounts. That is the point, where the harassment starts and you are unlikely to get your money back.

In any scenario, winning players are limited very fast (which is ok and standard) and you never feel comfortable with your funds there.

And I expect it to be the same with Kawbet.

For me, the risk-reward ratio was always good enough to keep playing at 1xbit. Up until the point, where they were changing the odds of an accepted betslip to my disadvantage after the match already started. When you can't be sure at what odds your bet will be settled, there is really no point in betting there.

SC Paderborn 7 - 1 . FC Köln, @2.1[/center]

I don't think Köln will win this one, but will wait for the 0-1 to lay for lower odds then. Still remember very well that matchup from last year in Paderborn. Köln had everything under control up until the 80th minute and were leading comfortably 2-0. Paderborn then managed to score three inside 12 minutes and won 3-2. This will also be my main bet - goals. A draw isn't helping Paderborn, they have to look for 3 points here no matter what. And Baumgart is the right coach to push his team to go for all points up until the final whistle. Köln has scored a lot recently (3.25 goals on average in last 4) and I expect them to have lots of opportunities to score. They are missing Cordoba for today, but Modeste isn't that bad too and Uth will be back to play behind Modeste.

Strange that it starts at 8pm already, normally the Friday Bundesliga matches start at 8:30pm Huh

That 2. Bundesliga match between Osnabrück and Wehen is hilarious Cheesy First half saw seven goals (2-5). I was so sure, this was going to be an ugly game with maybe 1-2 goals. It has been raining all day in Osnabrück and the pitch is in terrible condition. Odds for the under were 2-ish before kick-off and I nearly jumped on it. But since I hate playing unders, I didn't place any bet. Lucky me, because after 7 minutes that bet would have already been lost.

Here you go:

Now you could argue that "x1bit" is not the same as "1xbit", but see here:

And when reading this post....

All sites such as 1xbit / 1xbet / melbet and now also kawbet are white label platforms. The underlying software is provided by the company BETB2B.
(...)
But the real problem is that withdrawals in this case have to be approved by Kawbet and BETb2b. If one of the sides does not approve your withdrawal, then you can see goodbye to your money.

....you could now argue, that they use the same "payment system", since it seems to be somewhat linked/attached to BETb2b afterall. I have no idea how this "payment system" works though tbh, someone enlighten me please. I only know, that you are in high danger of losing your funds when playing at these bookmakers. There are just too many red flags, so avoid.

I read some reports today, that spoke about a phone call between Belichick and Brady with no results at all and now I saw this tweet:

Source: https://twitter.com/ezlazar/status/1235288819987075073

It wouldn’t be the first time, the Patriots play some mind games, but I don’t see the benefit for the Patriots here. If he gets into negotiations with Titans/Raiders/49ers, it will just drive his price up for the Patriots to keep him. I think those three teams would be willing to pay him way more money, than the Patriots are willing to do.
And Belichick imo has a very good feel, when players are done. We have seen numerous players leaving the Patriots and never being as good again as they were with the Patriots. This might be due to the “Patriots System”, but also Belichick seeing certain players regressing, what other coaches might not see/realize.

I am available and ready this weekend too. Would just need to set up an account on SWC, if we play there, but no problem.

If I get to play from home I will try and screen capture the event and show play from my perspective for fun.

Live streaming would be better Grin

I think a seperate "Tournament Announcement Thread" would be good to attract new users/players and make things more clear for newcomers. First post should contain all relevant information and all participating users just make a short confirmation-post. Tournament result is posted afterwards and then a new announcement in that thread for the next tourney, which can be linked to in other threads/boards to advertise.

This thread here should be for general talk about these tournaments then.

When is the semi final draw?

Will be this Sunday evening in the Sportschau. Bayern will surely get Saarbrücken Roll Eyes

I would like to see Bayern having to travel to Frankfurt. They will be missing Kostic due to his red card yesterday, which is a huge blow, but I would give Frankfurt more chances to beat Bayern than Leverkusen. That 5-1 earlier this season was quite delicious to witness Grin

Nice song, very "Katy Perry" styled but nice song I think.

Katy Perry was the first thing that came to my mind too Grin

Have updated the first post with Austria and Greece, not sure what went wrong there. I will have to go through the list anyway and link all entries to the Eurovision Youtube channel (when they finally put all songs there). Then we can do some statistics with views, up-/downvote etc. Those stats are often a bit misleading, but give some kind of an overview nevertheless - and it's some fun to watch the changes over the weeks leading up to the ESC.

Du hast dann meist eine sehr homogene Post-History anstatt Posts "all over the board", die mehr Arbeit bedeuten.
