1441  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Arbitrage on sports bets? on: January 11, 2021, 11:22:06 PM
If you really wanna do arbitrage betting it is advisable to use two different sites rather than try your hardest to make it in one, more often than not they won't allow it as these types of betting strat causes the house to lose money. So better yet, choose a different betting site instead and do it on then arbitrage on both. You're still bound to win either way.
I haven't encountered any BTC gambling site that allows this as of yet, coz it is gonna bankrupt the house, although it is quite understandable for people to d the these due to unfair house edge or other factors but really, it all boils down to the question whether you are gambling to relieve of stress or gambling to earn money, because the latter will be so hard to achieve.

Because there are very few sites who would allow you to do so, and the sites that would allow you will only give you less rewards so it's not going to be that profitable either way. Just try my strat, that should work.
1442  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers - How do you use your signature campaign earnings? on: January 11, 2021, 11:05:13 PM
As for me, it depends on the situation I am in if I will be hodling or spending the earnings itself. But most often than not I will save up a few bucks to gamble, to either have fun or to earn money in the process, with the former being the most prominent thing in my mind everytime. I am pretty sure a lot of people do this too.
Depending on the market and my daily mood, I can do all the selections on the poll. Sometimes, I check the withdrawal fee before withdrawal if the transaction fees are abnormal I will go to try my luck on Monopoly or on other Evolution live games. Mostly, I cash out and accumulate the rewards for the next bull market season.
As expected, though it surprises me that you're basing it on your mood for that day and not with other factors, although it makes sense. Nonetheless, I think it is just fine to spend it however you want to, just make sure you have backups as it will be problematic if you will let yourself dry out of funds.
1443  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: User got access to their 127 BTC after 9 years on: January 11, 2021, 10:17:33 PM
Kind of like a heartwarming success story. Imagine having to deal with the regret abd mental stress it would exert especially if you've heard of the 2017 ATH which broke mainstream media for a while, and just about when bitcoin is reaching even higher values the man himself got his bitcoins back. I can't say anything besides congratulations dude. You clearly earned it.
1444  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling on real gaming equipment: Testing technology on: January 09, 2021, 07:49:47 PM
For people saying they're going to have huge problems with cliners and pshishing sites, I'd like to say that there is a good chance the devs can do something about banning these phishing and hackers since Google Play is more interactive with app developers now more than ever and is always willing to help in ensuring no clones go unchecked. That being said, out of market applications can still pass by the radar unnoticed so it's always up to the costumer to take care of himself.
1445  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More records for bitcoin as we welcome 2021. on: January 09, 2021, 07:25:28 PM
Bitcoin showing people what it's capable of is the highlight of cryptocurrency 2021, what was once thought a pump and dump scheme is now burning everyone's expectations and pockets because of transaction fees lmao. Realy though I hope they do sometjing about it because there is no way someone's gonna fork over 300 dollars just to withdraw $2500 earning. That's too much.
1446  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cash out or HODL - Bitcoin? on: January 07, 2021, 11:38:07 PM
Cashing out might seem to be the most logical thing to do at this price point and millions will agree with me, Bitcoin's price is very high right now and people may have little to buy with what they have and this will be a good way to help them and incorporate more people in the cycle, but it does not seem best especially when you realize the transaction fees are to high at this moment. Unless you're willing to pay 50-100 dollars to cash out your earnings, you wouldn't want to withdraw it.
If the history in terms of the chart really repeats itself then I think holding on now might be the right option, we don't know if the chart will form the same pattern by having some corrections to finally hit ATH and then dumping. I'm still wary of this, at least by always checking the market every day and even at all times because I still choose to hold. It doesn't matter if it's slow or too quick to sell, I just want to catch up on something that's at least close to its ATH.
This also makes sense, although this could get you by the neck once the coin starts dumping. It's a shame we wouldn't know at what pricepoint will the price correction happen and whatnot so we could time it before it happens.
1447  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is FOMO why people interested in FOMO on: January 07, 2021, 11:11:50 PM
FOMO meant Fear of Missing Out and essentially talks about the feeling when everything and everyone is on the trend and you aren't in it yet. This happens to numerous things but in crypto terms, it basically means the fear of not gaining profits after ignoring a coin you thought wouldn't be profitable turns profitable anyway after a few months.
1448  Economy / Economics / Re: Will India be more progressive in the coming years? on: January 07, 2021, 10:53:24 PM
I believe India has always the capabilities to achieve such goal, it's just a matter of when are they going to work on it. Most people think India is a third-world country because of the quality of life of a percentage of people living there but it also can be considered a second-world or even a first-world country given their resources and technology.
1449  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The gambler who manages to beat the casino through cheating on: January 07, 2021, 09:54:32 PM
I have this certain mindset regarding people who spent an awfully huge amount of time to learn a game and get the best odds to win on it. I feel like they deserve to ein the prizes they got, regardless if the house calls it cheating or not which they will do by the way in the, best of its ability to ensure that they don't lose big amounts, so people shouldn't be kept away from their prizes, because they deserved it one way or a other
1450  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever proven fairness of games? on: January 07, 2021, 09:29:14 PM
Not a lot of people do that because either time constraints, the boiling excitement to gamble, or both are not allowing them, myself included. And to be honest, this term has been thrown here and there that it lost its flavor already, so people most likely aren't even caring about if a game is provably fair in the first place because they don't have any way of proving it to the people anyway, so people stop caring.
1451  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did I just lose my wallet? on: January 06, 2021, 02:46:32 AM
Okay, your issue will require a painstaking process to get your wallet back. And since there is no customer support for cryptocurrency, you will not be able to regain access to it through conventional means. I myself have no idea how this works and what you can do to fix your issue, but you may wanna try EASEUS recovery software, it had worked wonders for files I have lost in the past, I hope it work on yours too
1452  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and tax in your countries on: January 06, 2021, 02:04:01 AM
Here in the Philippines the most prominent wallet is Coins, where thwy charge a hell of a lot for transactions that go as high as $20 above. We are hoping for a change here as this wouldn't slide especially with the current setup of things. Besides that, the government is alsp planning to impose taxations on cryptocurrency earnings, which for me is fine but the admin here is riddled with corrupt officials so basically 30% of my hard-earned cash is gonna go to a random politician because of this law
To be honest I don't know about it up till now,
But due to my curiousity created by this thread this is what I found out,
Taxation of cryptocurrecies in the Philippines how are virtual currencies regulated.
I don't have any update if they finally going to implement the tax but 30% is huge tax.
The issue is still in the talks here and is luckily postponed due to major issues in the way our government handles national problems, particularly on the police and armed forces sector. So it is still yet to be implemented.
1453  Economy / Economics / Re: Will bitcoin ever succeed as a currency on: January 06, 2021, 01:39:26 AM
As of the moment, AR is getting a ton of attention but few innovations to make it optimal for everyday use, but once it gets available to every household, more than just for entertainment purposes, this is where bitcoin may thrive the most. People may altogether use it which will significantly lower the price, but will make it viable as a currency.
I am sure that in the future Bitcoin will be successful as a currency, but now there are still many shortcomings that Bitcoin has as a currency.
So there needs to be a fix regarding the shortage of Bitcoin, but of course it takes a long process and we do have to be patient through the process
for Bitcoin to be successful as a currency. If we look at the increasing every year the number of merchants who accept Bitcoin payments, this proves
to be progress in the good direction that Bitcoin has begun to be accepted as a currency. Once again I say we must be patient.

Yep. Fixing and optimisation in order to make it a viable currency. That being said, there are still a long way to go for bitcoin to reach these heights, and only time will tell if it's achievable or not.
1454  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Asking About Riobet Casino on: January 06, 2021, 01:07:56 AM
I did not pay attention to the site when it was a big thing hwre because of their free spins, because I thought they arw just Roobet Ripoffs that may as well be scam sites, but to my surprise, while searching on Google, I found out they have been in the game before Roobet was even live. Still, the free spins are problematic as most of the time thw house sets parameters onto them to make sure that you don't win anything good with that, so I don't think thw aite is worth checking out for the free spin.
1455  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC is used all the time even if you hodl. on: January 05, 2021, 03:38:54 AM
There's no harm to hodling bitcoins compared to hoarding fiat currency, as OP have mentioned regardless if bitcoin is hodled, it's the market cap that circulates anyway so there are no risk of stagnation. And since bitcoin is virtual there is no risk to it physically running out, even virtually in some cases when you consider the fact that Satoshis are there to help.
1456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hamster powered races on: January 05, 2021, 02:49:14 AM
The matches are streamed live and it's as I can attest, provably fair since it's the hamster controlling the odds anyway. What I'm hwavily converned about is the fact that the games might malfunction due to mouse error, there will be days where the mouse will not cooperate and people have already placed their bets, so how will the owners work around this? And as far as animal rights goes, is this ethical?
1457  Economy / Economics / Re: Financiers would never invest in bitcoin? on: January 05, 2021, 01:49:07 AM
The points they made on how and why financiers will not use cryptocurrencies or invest in them makes little sense to me. Although what I'm getting in this is that they don't need to, since they are filthy rich anyway and wouldn't want to expand their wealth which is really good for small time bitcoin investors like us, fewer whales on the market means bigger chances for us.
That can't say this time, because anything can happen this year or some time far. Cryptocurrency becoming well known in the world day by day, many countries and organizations are accepting BTC so why not financiers? Commerce known people now knowing and investigating about cryptocurrency. I hope that financiers will come to this field and they will work on that and if there are some mistakes, they will try to solve and upgrade the systems. Scams will reduce by the preventing of falls.
This I agree, a lot of privately-owned companies way back 2018 are reluctant into getting into crypto, but look at them now FOMOing the hell out of themselves to get a chance at earning here too.
1458  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling on real gaming equipment: Testing technology on: January 05, 2021, 01:30:53 AM
I don't think it's fair for the people to pay for the gambling site's creation and have them pay you again to play it, I mean this with the future of your site in mind. People wouldn't be very pleased especially when you take into account the fact that you'll be the ones to take the profits of your site yourselves. Might as well use a different take on this, perhaps look for a private investor, just don't crowdfund it.

If its shares that you are selling now, then you are in the wrong forum and your target market is not in this community since that share that you are selling is not for sale using Bitcoins for sure. Furthermore, you need to be transparent, where is the company located, who is behind the project and their back ground as well. I tried to open the link you posted but it is not working. Is it because domain name is in Russian?
It sounds like they are located somewhere in Russia, though even that is not certain since it's on the internet. I guess it's fine that they aresharing this project in this forum since they will be using cryptocurrencies as bet payments anyway, what I can't quite understand is why crowdfund a project that you would expect the people to pay you with?
1459  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Crypto profit to bank account without taxes on: January 05, 2021, 01:03:55 AM
It shouldn't count as money laundering, since it's cryptocurrency anyway and a lot of peoplewho have done it in the past to avoid paying pesky taxations would agree with me. 33% is a big loss if I do say so myself and we don't even know if we would be able to reap these benefits as it taxated and is at risk of being grafted. So yeah go for it, you should be fine.
1460  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Atlast bitcoin breaks $30000 on: January 04, 2021, 09:02:43 PM
I didn't think that bitcoin will be soaring this high, my targeted price for 2020 was only about $25000 and that's the max, coz I see it declining there but it reached a whopping $35000, what an unbelievable story to tell to my kids lol it's good to see bitcoin breaking new records, what worries me are those people who bought bitcoin at high prices indeed that the trust is being added but it's so risky, actually the market is risky at the moment as it shows a peek level. Do you guys still think that it is a good time for new investments?
