Niothor has contributed a lot to this community, and I hate to leave negative trust to someone like that.  if he closes down his ponzi and settles all balances, I will be happy to remove the negative trust. Hopefully it hasn't got too large and he IS able to settle all balances. Why anyone would want to mar their trust rating after being full time members like that is beyond me |

Thank you, Vod. I think Niothor's kind of behavior really shouldn't be tolerated, and even though we can't do anything to make it stop, we can at least try to warn others about people who engage in fraudulent activity. Right now, there is no proof that Niothor is scamming.
How's this for proof: Niothor admits he is running a HYIP. All HYIPs are Ponzis. A Ponzi is a scam. Therefore, Niothor is scamming. I'm pretty sure that's proof in the pure scientific definition of the term. Your statement All HYIPs are Ponzis is questionable. |

You can't do that unless he has scammed. This is what makes ponzi schemes and other mass frauds so difficult to catch and persecute. You can only call them scammers AFTER they have scammed. Right now, there is no proof that Niothor is scamming.However, the way he deleted my posts leads me to question the credibility of his claims. |

What I find the most ironic is that in absolute terms would you chose the human body as the plateform for integration with silicon? Personally velocy raptor or some kind of squid... I mean not a human body... uncreative fools. Organic matter is quite performing, but lack in durability compared to inorganic matter...

First, what logic can be applied to me? OP said we should praise white Europeans for abolishing slavery, and I said no, you can't claim credit for eventually getting rid of an evil you started. Then you come along and say "the same logic can be applied to you, you support slavery." You're not responding to anything I said with your attack. The only thing I said was white people don't get credit for abolishing slavery after they ruined so many lives with it.
The people that got rid of slavery were not the same ones that started it. And there is no evidence that whites started slavery. Slavery was a global phenomenon. White people did not march into Africa to capture slaves unless they had a death wish. Blacks captured black slaves and sold them to people of all color including other blacks and Arabs. The Mid East slave trade was 100 times more brutal than the American slave trade. If you were a slave captured in Africa you hoped you were going west to work on a farm and not east to be castrated and then die in a war. White people were the first to start race based slavery, and America was the only nation that fought a civil war over it. |

At this moment I can't see any advantage. I can't extend my memory by a memory card, can't get an embedded vision improvement device, I can't get stronger and faster with some muscle enhancers. All I can get today is an RFID chip or an USB stick under my skin. Cool! Especially the RFID stuff. That would make all my movements and actions even more easily traceable, and I could get more accurate and more targeted ads... hurray!
I'd think about trading off a part of my privacy for some useful implants, but not for the currently available stuff.
