Mined for an hour - still nothing.
Is there any chance to get a block with solo mining now?
If not - what pools are stable?
Difficulty grown fast, its hard to find a block with solo mining. Try P2Pool --> http://icoin.altpool.pw:19360See this guide to setup miner and adjust difficulty. Pretty new to p2p pools this is a second one i use. How long does it takes till the first payout? I am mining for about one and a half hours and no payout yet. Depends on your hashrate but i think under 1mhash/sec you dont have much chance to get a block soloing |

I might be blind, or maybe blinded by that guys 96 MH/s rig, but did anyone see the total coin count?
it will be 500 million seen at github quote from github readme: 100 coins per block
10 minutes block targets
Subsidy halves in 128k blocks
500 million total coins
1008 blocks to retarget difficulty

pool difficulty changed to 512, damn hell
f*ck this pool. admin is trying to compensate the increased traffic with increasing difficulty. If you can't keep the pool up with reasonable difficulty shut the hell it down. A pools reason is to give possibility for lower hashrate miners too not only the 5-10 big fishes who would be able to mine in solo |
