I have had 6 stakes already. And no where near full yet.  Wink

Does the Myriad-Groestl ccminer work with regular Groestl?
1443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: April 28, 2014, 12:42:48 AM
Let me know if you guys need any pools for some of the odd algorithms. I run a mini 750Ti GPU farm so instead of solo mining I'd be fine with starting up pools.

I like the look of you jackpot coin pool. Have you tried to get the ccminer implemented into it?
1444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: April 27, 2014, 07:27:50 PM
has anyone been able to confirm if --algo=myr-gr works?
work fine for me

May I ask how you got ccminer to work?
I am trying on super nova using: ccminer.exe -a myr-gr -o stratum+tcp://myrgrs.suprnova.cc:5678
I get stratum detected new block and it shows 132,821 kh/s but no yays or boos
EDIT: Super nova doesn't show my worker connected either
hmm... they use --scrypt for mining in Getting Started section. I think this is not myriad-groestl pool... try http://myrgroestl.stablehash.com/
test this pool - all work
did you create worker and set passord for it?

Ok. Will try. Just waiting for email verification

Yes. ccminer.exe -a myr-gr -o stratum+tcp://myrgrs.suprnova.cc:5678 -u worker.670 -p x -d 0
u must change worker to your username, so if you choose in registration username smith then you must use -u smith.670

correct. i have it as my user name plus the ".670"

I just changed it for generic for post. I read a while ago to never put your real username and password for all to see. I know if someone uses it they will be mining for me.

EDIT: Sorry zelante to waste yor time but I am a dumba$$. I was trying to run this on my GTX 670. Evidently it doesn't work on it. I just tried my GTX 750ti's and all works fine. Getting  @ 5,100 kh/s on each.

@cbuchner1

I know this was brought up a while ago but wanted to ask again.

Have you thought about adding an hard pay to your miner yet to help support it. I know some people might not like it but I like how Claymore did his XPM miner. Hard coded at 10% but you can turn it off and it slows down the speed of the miner. I have no problem paying him the 10% fee that I find. He updates regular so I think the method works.

I see it as a win/win situation. You get paid for your time and hard work and we get coins that we would not have gotten as fast without your miner. I don't know if your ccminer is based on another miner but I have seen another where part of the fee went to the original miner's creator also.

NO promises if this was set up 100% correctly. If it is the same as a regular Keccak SHA -3 pool then it should be fine. I'll be watching closely

Just tried with Nvidia cards. Neither keccak or scrypt settings worked. I got all boos.
1449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: April 27, 2014, 01:48:37 AM
same thing I was trying but not working for me.

I did get it working on an AMD machine using their GPU provided software but on a different machine with nvidia no dice.

[2014-04-26 21:43:58] json_rpc_call failed, retry after 30 seconds
[2014-04-26 21:44:29] HTTP request failed: Failed connect to localhost:15372; No
 error

is what I'm getting.  I must be doing something wrong on this machine.

I am no pro at all. But did you set the wallet qt in server mode?
1450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: April 27, 2014, 01:30:58 AM
for windows does anyone have a sample command line to run this?

yea, being lazy

You wanna know lazy?

Here is what I am running: ccminer.exe -a jackpot -o localhost:15372 -u user -p pass
1451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: April 27, 2014, 01:00:28 AM
yeh i can see a lot of people are going to ask, here is 32bit and 64bit ccminer 0.6 compiled
https://mega.co.nz/#!Aw13XIYD!ETSB1GRSQdmqGt1jnlMLV4ZOhJ__qtfOSc0vOMKyUQY

Thanks.

Up and running with not settings in bat. but each 750ti is about 10,300 kh/s.

Are you mining this coin also bigjme? If so I'll send you some if I get any.
1452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: April 27, 2014, 12:35:57 AM
Does the new ccmine .6 needs compiled to windows first? I see no .exe to run this.
1453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: April 27, 2014, 12:18:31 AM
A ccminer v0.6 source code release was made, adding myriad-groestl (the table based groestl implementation like in the SPH library) and a jackpotcoin implementation.

My jackpotcoin implementation computes only the keccak portion of the JHA hashing algorithm and throws away 7 out of 8 hashes. This is way faster than computing the remaining rounds for the hashes that I am throwing away Wink  jackpot is now a CUDA coin it seems, and it is fit for solo mining. Quick, the AMD miners are going to catch up soon.

Christian

I don't see the jackpot code in the read me.

I tried: ccminer --algo=keccak -i 0 -l T1024x24 -C 2 -L 1024 -m 1 -o localhost:15372 -u user -p pass

--help lists available algos... Use -a jackpot like in the official jackpotcoin cpuminer

I am an idiot because everytime i try and run it i get a ccminer is not recognized internal or external command.

Trying on windows 7

How to use the NVIDIA?
X11 CUDA how to dig
doesn't exist yet...

we took a detour and did the fastest Jackpotcoin miner on the planet

the coin has a serious design flaw, you only need to mine Keccak, and ignore
all the other hashes.

nice to know about Buchner funnels. Hadn't come accross them yet
(although I did use the CUDA funnel shifter before)

I seen 356 blocks mined wit 12 difficulty.

No blocks found yet for me with 4 750ti's. About 156,000 kh/s each card
1456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Finally, open source XPM GPU Miner!! on: April 26, 2014, 07:26:31 AM

Thank you but a stupid qustion. This is for Windows and it can run Nvidia cards?

I suspect not likely .. Nvidia card is supported if you compile for it .. Post this question to dev via peercointalk

Thanks.

It will run on Windows and it works for Nvidia cards. Though Nvidia cards are way slower than AMD cards for this miner.
1457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore XPM GPU Miner discussion on: April 26, 2014, 06:39:34 AM
I have 2 seperate machines solo mining for the heck of it. Both on 4.0v with standard wallet.

Machine 1: 1 R9280x and 1 R9 270 wallet has 8 connections
Machine 2: 2 7850's wallet has 31 connections

Of course with my luck machine 1 can't have the better connection. I copied and pasted the config file from machine 1 to machine 2.

Anyone else having problems with nrs2.blockquarry trying to unlock account in settings?

I am trying to unlock to put in my wallet but I can't get an email from them to authenticate to unlock it.
