What you said is true. Initially whether your rich or poor start gambling for fun thinking that they can control there emotions but after staring it is quite difficult for any one to control. So whether your rich or poor if you can avoid gambling that would be best. If not try not to gamble on daily basis, it can bring any one big loses. I mostly bet in sports some times and so for going well and some how I don't gamble every day. Gambling is only good if you do it occasionally and always put in mind that doing this gambling is just for fun. Don't take it seriously because no one has no chance to bet the house in the long run. The only one who can make profit in the long run is the casino cause he has the advantage. That is the beauty of math. The probability really plays a huge role in this case and almost everything tends to the expected probability in the long run. However, every distribution will have a normal distribution so there will be outlayers that able to profit from gambling but that does not means that it will work for 99.99%.

Only gambling strategy that works for some would be card counting on blackjack but thats almost impossible to do online.

bitcoin has so much more uses than use it for gambling. it can be one of the best currency transactions, fast confirmation etc. However, many people still prefer fiat for gambling. It is just that this community have a lot of btc gambling. Yes, I do agree on what you said like fast confirmations and easy and safer way to handle transactions with less fee. But as of now bitcoins are using mostly in gambling industry and that's why bitcoin demand is still high. I don't see apart from gambling any other places people are using it for any big transactions. I read many threads here that tehe loat a lot. One of which that I feel sorry for him is that he lost about 100btc in just one day and realize that the site is a scam. Well if I were him, i will not spend that much and losing 1 btc is enough for me if I have that kind of amount.
Feel sorry for him. Site was scam?? or he just presumed that it was a scam because he gamble recklessly in just a day. Maybe he just didn't know the house edge And house always win. Spending that big amount of Btc these days is already a big amount of money. But if he gamble it last year or couple of years maybe it's still reasonable to gamble that amount regarding the price back then. Gambling can be only profitable if you are lucky and the chance is really low that you can make some profit with gambling because the chance is just to be lucky to win some money.
And the chance is really low that it can be profitable for you because losing is a higher chance.
yup, every game is design in such a way that you will tends to lose. and people tend to be greedy. so when you are winning, you will tend to play more, and the more you play, the probability will kick in and you will end up losing. |

i heard before that is some strategy in roulette by the professional gamblers. however, the general trick they told us were to bet on more number so you will more likely to win. However, i dont really agree with their statement, as the game is always in our disadvantage in probability, by betting more, it is like we even have a higher chance of losing cause we are playing like 100 times in one go instead of one by one. It is best to gamble using bitcoin because of the ease on funding your account. About the cons, you can always avoid sites that are fishy in nature. I personally do not like gambling that much but I like betting on sports games. The sport I bet the most on is soccer/football. I do not bet much but I do it for the fun and because I like the sport.
