what will be the changes on fair market?

Main change is actually that fairmarket will begin to work (before, only was testing)
Thats because the faircoin payment processor for odoo based fairmarket has been developed and is ready.

- Frontend interface will be ready also for leaving people to look for products by categories, by shops or by locations.
- Every shop will have their url with their products and their contact data.

Hi everyone, I've been disconnected from Faircoin for about one year (a bit more), so I didn't upgrade to 1.5 after the fork.

Now I just did it (in Windows), but I'm not sure if I followed the steps properly. The thing is, while I was downloading the blockchain, after installing the new wallet, I could see my last transactions, and after a while, my balance. Now I can't mint because every transaction "has reached the maximun probability".

I have the feeling I'm stucked with the pre-fork coin, but I have no idea of how to proceed right now. Anyone can help?

And excuse my ignorance in the matter, by the way...

Hey, welcome back!

You can mint still after "reaching the maximum probablility That message means that the coins age can not growth more, but not lets you without the option
of minting. You have still probability at the right.

Are you already in the 1.5.2 version?

More than that, If you see the balance and is ok, which is actually the problem?

there's this onlinewallet service including POS-Pool.
https://coinwallet.co
Faircoin could be added for a fee of 0.25 BTC or the equivalent in Faircoin.
I asked ethought (he is running this service) and that's what he answered.

"Hi -

Would be happy to add Faircoin.

Currently there is a fee of 0.25 BTC or equivalent in Faircoin for addition.

Let me know if interested.

Regards

ethought"

Is there any interest for doing this?

question to the community:
are we/you interested in getting a webwallet (multiwallet) for Faircoin including POS-Pool?
Adding Faircoin to https://coinwallet.co would cost a fee of 0.25 BTC.
useful or not, what do you think?

https://holytransaction.com/ has planned to add Faircoin to their multicurrency webwallet and not will ask a a fee for it.

If coinwallet.co wants to do so, its great, but not makes sense to pay for it. We are working for making Faircoin a popular demand by users, so, the services will have their own interest for adding faircoin.

what happen? we get the pick of the negative price...

Nothing happen, we are doing an amazing evolution at different levels.
Next week will be very important with the launch of fairmarket beta and the faircoin 2 implementation paper.
More surprises coming in two weeks.

Time will put the things - and bittrex price- in their fair place

you are putting much effort in this project no question about that.
But the fact is that there is no actual economy going on right now and its been like this for two years.

Is funny to argue that, just the week before of the launch of fairmarket  Tongue
Have you added already your things or services to sell, there?
https://market.fair.coop/shop

Otherwise, since 9 months ago there are merchants registered here: http://use.fair-coin.org some of them are actually having activity in faircoin

i have some questions about faircoin 2.0

1.is faircoin 2.0 a new coin or just a upgrade from faircoin
2.what is the total supply of faircoin 2.0?
3.how to distribute faircoin 2.0?  Proportionally to shareholder of faircoin? or just another IPO

1. Just a updgrade from faircoin. Currently our wallet is 1.5.2 and will go to Faircoin 2.0. A transitional wallet 1.5.3 will be deployed before 2.0
2. Same than the last day of faircoin 1.5.3
3. There will not be new currency to distribute.

edited with 1.5.3 info

Quote
"This version problably will be no longer called faircoin as it’s a complete new system, a kind of decentralized and high efficient infrastructure, rewritten from scratch, with big data technology, distributed transaction confirmation (distributed load), several blockchain in a distributed database, etc…

Faircoin as a currency, should be one of the coins using that blockchain of the commons."

faircoin 3.0 will be a platform like ethereum, bitshare etc. ?

In some sense, yes. But the goal here is to build up an scalable blockchain available for any professional banking requirement
with thousands of transactions by second, like visa but decentralized with blockchain. Something similar currently being developed
is bigchaindb -> https://www.bigchaindb.com/

This is not urgent for faircoin because we need to scalate the user participation first, but some faircoop partners are asking us to join with this kind of big requirements
for the future.

I am using coinwallet.co services since two years ago without issues, but if Faircoin is not having issues because the people have not the wallet opened staking, i think it would be useless.

Sorry. I'm not sure if I got what you mean?
You mean it is better for network if many people have there own wallet open for staking instead of staking in an onlinewallet with POS-Pool?
maybe, but I think the average user will leave his wallet open only once in a while.
they could possibly increase their POS rewards with that Pool.
otherwise I doubt this will be the case for people that stake with their own wallet very often.

We are going to leave POS after faircoin 2 deployment, which should be in june. So, that not should be an issue at that moment

can you public the newest white paper of Faircoin 2.0

A new Faircoin 2.0 paper, with all the implementation details will be published around 4-7 march

http://www.elnacional.cat/es/herve-falciani-enric-duran-monedero-digital-bitchain/

Share and act.

Good moment for preparing your Shop on fairmarket!!!

Fairmarket beta prelaunch call

https://fair.coop/launch-of-the-fairmarket-beta-test/

http://market.fair.coop

Almost a year has passed since we last did a call-out for testing (https://fair.coop/fairmarket-alpha-testing/) and a lot has changed with FairMarket. First we had internal problems because the first small FairMarket devteam disbanded and it was months until in autumn a new one came into being; now more participative and stronger for the challenges at hand: to became a crucial resource in the FairCoop ecosystem. After a lot of work in the last months, the beta is nearly here and scheduled for March 6, Faircoin’s second birthday, and which is when you will actually be able to buy and sell products using Fairmarket:

The main development has been the linking of the the odoo modules that make up its ERP core with an Electrum-Fair client, which gives it true Faircoin processing abilities. This is provided by a new module, written by FairMarket extraordinary developer  Santi, integrating odoo(https://www.odoo.com/) with electrum-fair, and which can show faircoin addresses as QR codes, so that you can make your payments from mobile devices, and so that we can start to extract transaction fees and payment verification. Another part is multi-currencies, although a lot of work has been done in this area. This has already been developed in similar software such as Wezer, by French association Valeureux (http://www.valeureux.org/blog/wezer-2/), and the new IntegralCES API (https://www.drupal.org/project/ices), which already allows integration with Coopfunding and with administration software developed by the Catalan Integral Cooperative (https://github.com/CICIC). The short term gain, apart from a promising API call which will one day allow people to use the FairMarket to buy things using their Catalan Ecos or in another integralCES run currency, is that we also realised we find ourselves within a true and burgeoning ecology of alternate finance, accounting administration, and money-related projects, where FairMarket is a key part of the ecosystem that is gradually becoming its own economy.

Using this tool, any individual or collective can sign up and have the equivalent of PayPal and Amazon, but without the high fees and the privately run Euro-centred corporations, plus the ability for these to follow a cooperative and alternative logic to that of “sell sell sell”, or “money talks” philosophies.

So we’d like to ask you to register and log in at https://market.fair.coop/ – if you have done so already it should remember your existing usernames, you can let us know if you need any help, but when you log in, please fill in an issue in the forum area: https://market.fair.coop/forum/ and write about any errors or issues you have found. You can open your shop in the FairMarket and prepare your new place on the net for selling your products and services before the beta launch.

Please tell us if you find it clunky, hard to use or just plain ugly, or if you find an error of any kind, or saw some internal error messages that weren’t very clear, or clicked something that didn’t take you where you expected. Also you are welcome to test the site as a “customer” and just look at the process for buying something. In any case, please take into account that the checkout process will be disabled until the launch.

what a dump on bittrex.
nr 99 in the top 100
 Huh

Our old friend who bought  some weeks ago 250000 at 2300 for selling again, has decided to sell half of pending today
now only have 75000 pending..
better to see that before the value go upper  Wink

You don't mean the Chip Chap guys right ? Or is this somebody else ? And why would they buy 250000 only to sell them again a few weeks later for less (?)
I don't understand these people...

But if all sellers can just sell their coins already, we can continue our journey up the mountain again !  Cool

of course, is not chip chap.

In fact is same guy from old sell wall at 3800, after he putted a buy wall at 2300 and soon sold out, big amount from the firsts days to him.
I dont know why, but seems that indirectly he is doing liquidity services for big holders who wants to cashin or cashout.  Grin

I know other people doing that trading + faircoin investment actions. seems a good way  Wink
