1442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you know about blockchain games? on: March 29, 2019, 03:32:28 PM

There are ARG games that was released months ago, I do assume you all heard of RealityClash. I did invest on this project but weren't an achiever at all even after all the efforts done by the team. Ready Player One like game would be good only if adoption already happen. I guess the only games that are going to be profitable in blockchain are the ones related to gambling.

TRX and EOS dapps had all those games actually, you may have to visit dappradar to see it all.
1443  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bittrex identification on: March 29, 2019, 02:48:31 PM

If you just withdraw under the limits, I think you will be fine. Most exchanges so far including Binance allow users to withdraw few BTC without asking IDs, this I think should just be your way out of it. But now that you have tried bigger, you would have to submit your documents now else its going to be locked there til you do something.
1444  Economy / Exchanges / Re: KYC and identity theft risk on: March 29, 2019, 02:11:35 PM
Very valid point. I have already submitted the scanned copy of my passport to at least a dozen crypto-exchanges and this is something that I am not very comfortable with. I think I may have to depend on the decentralized exchanges to trade by tokens.
A dozen?! Wow. Why do you even need an account on a dozen different exchanges, let alone need to go through KYC on all of them? You are trusting an awful lot of strangers and and awful lot of unknown security systems to keep your personal details safe. That seems ridiculous to me. If I were you, I would start by closing as many of those accounts as possible, and making it clear to the exchanges in question you wish for them to delete your details and copies of your documents. There is absolutely no guarantee they will, but I would at least try.

Yes... I was wrong with that decision. In the past, I used to participate in a lot of bounties. Here the problem is that these tokens are not listed in all the exchanges. At the most, they could be traded in 2 or 3 smaller platforms.

Its too late to start closing exchange accounts when you already submitted KYC documents, even if you close those accounts, I think they may have to keep your details there. That is also the problem of the bounty hunters like me, I have submitted to these exchanges as I have to send to them the tokens listed on them.
1445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🌟[ANN]ATLANT Real Estate Platform| 🌟🌟 on: March 28, 2019, 08:00:22 PM
This uncertainty in your minds about P2P rentals launch delayed/non-existent/etc. Of course, no one knows outside of the core developer team. But remember this: Greed is a strong motivator. Various experts agree that the real estate industry fits perfectly with blockchains and is foreseen to be a trillion dollar market based on a blockchain.

They know if they can pull this through and be the first to make real estate work on a blockchain, they can make millions of dollars. If this is a scam, they are already gone long ago. The only reason would be is they are too incompetent.

Imagine being so close to a working and thriving real estate blockchain platform that no one has built yet.

If they were a scam they would have gone and last year would have been a perfect year to exit but they chose to stay. Today it hit 20% up, that is impressive.

ATL I believe is one of the oldest real estate project in blockchain and there were more of it after trying to get a big bite of the real estate pie. The success of one must be the success of all.
1446  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Patience is the main key of success on trading platform. on: March 28, 2019, 07:31:59 PM

I always run out of patience when I see no prices don't change after a day. I sold most of the tokens I hold and the saddest part is that the after I just dumped all of it, the price suddenly go up which I can almost think the community is just waiting for my dumps.

in the world of crypto patience it is very important to get the desired results because like trade and investment in order to get a big profit you must have great patience and confidence too

Investors last year must have lost their patience too while they see prices keeps failing everyday. But if they a barrel of patience to last til this day, they might be grateful to stick on holding strategy now that the market is becoming healthier.
1447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HOPE FOR SHIT COIN on: March 28, 2019, 06:14:47 PM
One thing you can consider a dead coin is when it has no volume in the market. If the project really is so good but due to the bear market everyone just jump out to save thier money then its not good. But it could once again be alive if the team can make new promotion like signature campaign. Giving some to build a community will at least light it up but perhaps developing it more will make it more interesting for the traders.
1448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Discussion: Altcoin (own their blockchain) vs Alt-token (relie on other B-chain) on: March 27, 2019, 05:31:12 PM
Considering alt-tokens are alternative cryptocurrency in token forms, i.e they're built on other blockchain with majority been created using Ethereum blockchain while altcoins are coins which aren't bitcoin, that's they're alternative cryptocurrency but have their own blockchain example dash, Litecoin etc. which one among the two category above will you consider to invest in for long term and also between tokens and coins, which one is more healthy for the blockchain industry.
I see coins that have a private blockchain have a greater chance of developing compared to coins made using smartcontrac. litecoin, EOS, Stellar, ADA, TRON and many more. that's all examples of successful altcoins that have private blockchain. so I was told to choose I was more interested in projects like this.

It doesn't matter whether an altcoin uses ETH or have its own blockchain, what matters is that whether the token will have its good use as for the project to exist. If an altcoin just exist because they are accepted by merchants and its mined through GPU, there is no different to it to BTC so why not just invest  to BTC itself. Countless token using the Eth chain only few of them are really valuable but this is because of the project not because of ETH network.
1449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about the future of cryptocurrencies.... on: March 27, 2019, 05:22:27 PM

It may really take a long while before the bulls will come running. If yuo haven't not dumped since the last 2017 bullrun, it must be a regretful days thinking you could have enjoyed the money out of it. I myself had hold back most of the funds I got but sold some of it as well. If the bullrun will really come as speculated, I may really be selling all the coins I get before everyone else can.

The future will be good for those who can last and accumulate coins, if you can't then it would b a struggle from now on because IEO will seem to be the new way for crowdsale.
1450  Local / Pilipinas / Re: PH senatoriable eyeing crypto-based jeep fare payment system on: March 27, 2019, 12:40:35 PM

For him to win is really impossible since most voters in our country tend to vote for TRAPO (traditional politicians). Elmer Francisco has been interviewed by bought ABS-CBN and GMA.

I'm sure it is not that hard for a simple driver to understand the concept upon using cryptocurrency as a source of payment. Let's just say just like in Beep Card its a tap and go. I'm sure that they will implement some measure so that the driver will not have a hard time using their coin as a payment system. That is if he could win the election.

1451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⭐⭐⭐ [ANN][ICO] ✅✅ TOR-X Network-Ecosystem for decentralized cross-chain exchange on: March 26, 2019, 04:53:30 PM
The exchange projects are still going to keep increasing now that they see where crypto is going now with the rise of IEO way of funding. Irony is that they themselves aren't funded thru IEO.
The reason of that ironic fact is pretty simple:
nobody wants to grow up competitor for themself.
and
Nobody wants to speed-up decreasing of own market share.

That is why we would prefer to create own project instead of running whitelabel exchange.

That is why we are making ICO instead of IEO.

Well you're now doing it. ICO it is.

Would it be useless to have a untraceable/anon coin when the users are asked to fill KYC? I just need to ask this because there seem to have no mentioned of KYC here.
I'm used to see exchanges asking for KYC to their users and I see no exemption.
1452  Local / Pilipinas / Re: PH senatoriable eyeing crypto-based jeep fare payment system on: March 26, 2019, 04:39:36 PM
It is easy for him to put it in his jeepneys since he's the founder of his own manufacturing company. The funny thing about this guys company is that they have their own coin and it actually ICOed back in August 2018.

EFI coin an ERC-20 token. I think this will be the coin that is going to be used on his jeepneys. So commuters get your own EFI coin now. Lol.

1453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO: Risks Come With You Should Know on: March 26, 2019, 04:11:16 PM

Binance launched pad is
The problem IEO that ordinary man can't buy tokens, tokens sell in just a few seconds, i tried in Binace and just now in Huobi.

Binance announced that they will switch to a lottery system for future IEOs.

https://www.binance.com/en/blog/316491046311071744/Update-to-the-Binance-Launchpad-Token-Sale-Format

Binance launched pad is same thing with Kucoin's Spotlight which was also created recently. This is where they would do the IEO for the projects who wants funded through them. One thing that might just be a disadvantage for users here is that, bounty hunters like us might not be needed.

I can see Kucoin or binance would be sending massive emails to those users to inform about new token sale every time.
1454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⭐⭐⭐ [ANN][ICO] ✅✅ TOR-X Network-Ecosystem for decentralized cross-chain exchange on: March 25, 2019, 04:38:26 PM
by its name TOR-X token you can already see there is an anon feature of this project.  Cross chain of course is already given knowing we all have chains to look forward to.

TOR-X is a new technology, in what practical directions it will be applied . On what exchanges will TOR-X be traded .

Where else but on their own exchange. The exchange projects are still going to keep increasing now that they see where crypto is going now with the rise of IEO way of funding. Irony is that they themselves aren't funded thru IEO.

1455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto estate planning on: March 25, 2019, 03:34:48 PM

Try training your kid or your wife to spend some BTC using an app. It always start with something like this and once they know they can spend just using an app, they start learning how Bitcoin or ETHER works. Sooner they will eventually ask why it has value and how to en-cash BTC going to their bank account. Maybe one day you can entrust to them you privatekeys
1456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay Calm, IEOs aren't a threat on: March 25, 2019, 03:28:05 PM
Releasing an IEO for token sale is a good decission for those people willing lot of tokens from token sale its very attractable and soon their token will list on which IEO exchange sales.

I have to admit there are more people going to invest on a project if an exchange like binance will conduct is crowdfunding. Investors are just incline to trusting such set up because they know the token could end up being listed to this exchange as well. There are however criteria for exchange to partner up with a team to do an IEO and not all team are willing to pay the exchange.
1457  Other / Archival / Re: Found a burn address on: March 24, 2019, 02:46:21 AM
He wants to prove that the address is indeed burn address? Yahoo!!

If OP think someone will send something to such address then it must be stupid to expect as its pointless. But maybe he just want to let us know he now is knowledgeable about it and proud about it. Well good. Okay so ye maybe.
1458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advantages and disadvantages of IEOs on: March 24, 2019, 02:08:22 AM
You named a lot of advantages and no disadvantages.
I agree on the advantages and like the idea of IEOs.
My concern with IEOs is that the projects  will be too dependent on the exchange and losing their autonomy.
My other fear is that shitty exchanges will also do IEOs and investors could be scammed as well.

That is where the next scams are going  to be. There are tons of exchanges that is sprouting since last year doing an ICO of their own. Exchange has all the advantages in the crypto world soon and so are the scamming scheme including the listing fee which is 20BTC?

If those guys had already foreseen this coming then they already had planned how they can scam millions in the next few months. ICO would still be best  path for the legit team.

1460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Governing bodies for abuses in crypto system? on: March 22, 2019, 03:47:38 PM
I somehow get to a point where low liquidity token value is because of huge volume supply. Now the problem is that they only had declared few circulating supply and that other tokens are reserved. The reserved tokens are subject for abuses like the team being greedy and use it in the future sales or private sale to which the team could earn on it without letting the community inform with the sales. This is a kind of corruption right?

Is their any governing bodies that will accept reports for abuses in cryptocurrency system especially those who team handling ICO projects or any crowdfunding activities?

A vigilant supporter will know wether the team has transferred their reserved tokens to an exchange, ready for dumping. I don't know how but the community have those eyes that see things like this and that could be a good sign when to dump also along with the team. Anyway, I really don't like the idea of having so much reserved tokens since it is prone to being misused.

So there is just no one to report to but also to the community that supports the project. The community seem doesn't have the power to do anything, so helpless still when they are in the verge of getting scammed. If for instance the team provided their wallet address, they'd be that bold to withdraw tokens in that address of course they'd be using another with huge amount of tokens too which would mean harder to prove its their wallet.
