1441  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: P2P will safe your life on: July 13, 2023, 01:28:38 PM

I'm not the only one using Binance, and I believe most people are using it for certain purposes. So far, I have never had a problem with Binance. Why don't you wonder, out of millions of accounts, no one has a problem while you are having issues with Binance and complaining about their service? Are they having a problem, or is the problem yours? If you can use P2P conveniently and without any hassle, then that's fine for you. But for me, I find it safer to use P2P of exchanges.

Yes, I agree with you and some people here, P2P of exchanges is not a pure P2P.

To be honest, i don't know any other p2p platforms besides exchanges (binance especially) that is safe enough to transact comfortably imo.
Just like you, i have also been using binance p2p for a long time now and i have never encounter any problem, my assumption with such complaints is probably they don't even have an account with binance but just want to discredit them out of personal beef. i use the binance p2p very frequently and i found it very convenient and secured to a certain degree.

Most of the people who are spreading negative news about centralized exchanges are bitcoin maximalists. They have their reasons because centralized exchanges are going against what bitcoin created, which is decentralized and peer-to-peer trading. But to be fair, P2P has its risks, and many people are risk averse, and they choose centralized exchanges as an option. I'm not advocating for Binance or CEXs, but besides needing to provide our identities, most things go smoothly when we use P2P powered by CEXs. Depending on the choice of each person, we use the service that is most suitable for us.
1442  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not decentralized on: July 12, 2023, 09:43:11 AM
Yes, bitcoin is not decentralized.

Yes, maybe that's your opinion on bitcoin, like many people call gambling, bitcoin is a Ponzi...but no matter what anyone says, bitcoin is still bitcoin, it's still decentralized and an investment, a currency...it all depends on how each person uses it for their purpose. We don't care what you think about bitcoin, what we care about is bitcoin is giving us freedom, we have full control over our assets without having to ask permission no one. That's what bitcoin gives us, and we need it.
1443  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is actually a Bitcoin investor on: July 12, 2023, 09:35:23 AM
I don't consider those people bitcoin investors, they are just pure users as they use bitcoin as a currency to pay their daily bills.
An investor hodls his bitcoin long time like more than one year but he can have different wallets. Hodl wallets for investment and smaller wallets with small amount of bitcoin to use daily or when needs to use bitcoin for payments. You can not say a person who uses bitcoin as payment method is not a Bitcoin investor.

You can not know which wallet belongs to who and who is he, trader or investor.

If I don't tell you, you will know know what are my Bitcoin wallets, addresses. You don't know how many wallets I have and how I use each wallets for payment or investment.

I don't want to go into specifics like you, nobody really cares what you're using bitcoin for. What I mean here is that many people see bitcoin as an investment, but there are still some who see bitcoin as a currency just like Satoshi created it. As for whether they disguise or hide what they do, nobody cares. Not everyone who owns bitcoin is an investor, although I don't deny that 99% of people enter the market for the purpose of making money and becoming an investor.
1444  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: July 10, 2023, 05:36:53 PM
If Kane has officially played for Bayern Munich, then of course he will likely steal the show, and yes it's good for Mane to think about other clubs if there is an attractive offer. But it seems that recruiting Kane is still quite difficult for Bayern Munich, although it is also rumored that Bayern Munich continues to raise price to bring Kane but the price is still not good enough for Tottenham.
Harry Kane can become another Batistuta who spent best of his career for Fiorentina but did not win any title with Fiorentina. He left Fiorentina when he even didn't want to do that but by moving to Roma, he won a Scudetto with Roma.

Kane will have better chance to win titles with Bayern Munich and very possible he will win some Bundesliga with Bayern Munich. He will be a hub of Bayern Munich attacking system like Lewandowski and with his finishing skills, he will score many goals. Kane will carry less tasks at Bayern Munich because they already have a good system and other players can support Kane very well. It is not a club where if Kane does not score goals, they will not win.

Harry Kane will have a golden chance to win the Bundesliga title with Bayern Munich. It will be a mistake for him if he wants to win a title and does not join Bayern Munich. But I also agree that Tottenham is basically making it harder for Bayern Munich to actually get the transfer done. Because they are simply asking too much price for a player that is more than 30 years old right now, probably 31 if I’m not wrong. It is a little too much money for a player of his age. I hope he will be able to join Bayern Munich before the start of the season. Because we all know that he is not winning any trophies staying with Tottenham.
1445  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is actually a Bitcoin investor on: July 10, 2023, 03:04:01 AM
When someone has a particular wallet which he spends Bitcoins from can he be considered a Bitcoin investor?
I don't consider those people bitcoin investors, they are just pure users as they use bitcoin as a currency to pay their daily bills.
Or does the term investor refer only to those who hodl Bitcoin?
Being an investor means you are looking to profit from bitcoin, and you will be a bitcoin investor when you hold or are a trader. Depending on the purpose of each person's bitcoin, not everyone can be called an investor when they do not see it as an investment. But as far as I can see, most bitcoin holders are investors, because of its volatility it is not suitable for use as currency, so 99% of bitcoin users are investors.
1446  Economy / Economics / Re: How to increase capital investment on: July 10, 2023, 02:55:42 AM
I think the easiest thing to increase capital is to sell the assets that we have, don't be afraid to sell assets because everything will be able to return when we get a profit, as long as we want to try and think positively then we will find a way out or a solution.

selling assset means that you are ending the way from which you earn money which is not a good idea and one more thing is that if you are selling your asset and that time the price is not appreciable then you will face loss which is also not a good idea. There are numerous individuals who perform their jobs as well as also engaged in online businesses which requires your hard work.

Instead of selling your asset try to get income through another source and start to do dual jobs so it will be better for you to save your asset for future, making a way of earning and get rid of taking loan from others. Instead of finishing the way of earning you have to create multiple ways of earning so therefore your life will be happy.
Selling assets for investment is the worst idea I have ever seen, many people are trying to increase their income and buy as many assets as possible while we are trying to sell them. OP's question is a bit confusing to me, it's like, how can we make more money? If we want to make more money besides working hard, I don't think there is a second way. Only when we work hard, earn extra income, and use that money to invest will our wealth increase.
1447  Economy / Economics / Re: Elon Musk and the fall of Twitter on: July 10, 2023, 02:35:19 AM
Thankfully, Threads is another exact microblogging alternative that is threatening Twitter, and if care is not taken and Musk doesn't apply wisdom, then the impact would be severe.
It's wrong to acknowledge thread as a treat to twitter because Elon limited daily views for Twitter users. That's the main reason Zuckerberg copied twitter and changed logo and name to thread. He didn't work for it, he stole another person's idea and intellectual property, it doesn't make sense. Most people will run back to twitter after a while of using thread. It'll just get the fame like truth social did when people started opting out of twitter because of the new update. It'll be hard for thread to beat twitter, not now.

Exactly! It doesn't even deserved to be called as the Twitter's competitor just because of it's similarities and that's just unrealistic to think, we all know that Twitter has been in the world for quite some time now and it will turn to its 20th year this 2026. This Thread will not even surpass half of the Twitter's achievements, not even a bit, it's just that people are dying to try what it can do but yes I agree, after a few months, they will all go back to Twitter.

Yesterday, I also tried to download and experience the Threads social network, but I had to delete it less than an hour later. It can be said that it has nothing outstanding or superior to Twitter, everything is almost 90% similar. This is actually a duplicate and without any improvements. What's going on is just people's temporary curiosity. I also believe everything will return to normal soon with Twitter, people will remove that terrible Threads app soon.
1448  Economy / Economics / Re: Agriculture can save your country from recession on: July 10, 2023, 02:23:54 AM
Agriculture is a very important field, but nowadays, many countries and people prefer to follow modern industrial things and gradually abandon agriculture. They think it is no longer profitable. To be honest, I am thinking the same as you, when my country is gradually abandoning agriculture, I see in the future, it will play a bigger role and will be prioritized with any field. I am also planning an organic fruit and vegetable farm and a poultry farm, both of which will be operational next year.
1449  Economy / Economics / Re: Has the popularity of bitcoins reduced interest of people in stocks? on: July 09, 2023, 06:13:58 AM
without any specific statistics for that, I'm simply thinking about what's going on when they're all great investments and we're both in and out of it. learn for them. As I see it, long-term investors still stick with it as well as new investors looking to it as a way to start investing, and the cryptocurrency market still has to admit that they is too small in size compared to stocks, we look for different investment channels with the goal of profit, so the fluctuations of the economy lead to a shift in investment behavior rather than attraction from a single market some.

For now bitcoin is on the top most choice but that does not mean bitcoin is the only interest of people. Still People have same kind of interest on stock as well. The interest in stocks are still there in market. In fact for today's generations have more options, they have more alternatives weather they want to invest on cryptocurrency or traditional stock investment. In my belief on any market only matters time, market grows like we can take an example of bitcoin, it is increase as compare with past few year with passing time.

some people are just happy happy on keeping their funds on stocks as this market is more stable as compared to crypto. but for some, they want to explore both markets and take advantage of what it can bring to their portfolio.
but we can't deny the fact that a lot of people got their interest in crypto particularly in bitcoin because they have seen a good run on this market in the previous decade.

The cryptocurrency market is gaining more attention because of its volatility as well as its ability to generate substantial profits, but that doesn't mean it takes the stock market's share. I have a few friends who have invested in stocks and forex for a long time, but they still decided to stay with these 2 markets instead of switching to cryptocurrencies. For them, the volatility of cryptocurrencies is something they feel is not safe. Therefore, it can be said that both markets will have their loyal investors, it will not be possible for cryptocurrencies to make the stock market less attractive and vice versa.
1450  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is better to invest in copy trading or bot on: July 09, 2023, 05:45:59 AM
Which is better to invest in copy trading or bot

And is there any other alternatives

I have 4k btc to invest

I don't think both methods are right for you. As a newbie, you should start by equipping yourself with knowledge and begin like others instead of looking for things that are not real. I dare to bet you that, whether you rely on others or use bots to enter trading, there will be a common outcome, that is loss and loss of money. No job or investment can be profitable without learning, without knowledge, and depending on others. If the bot could turn a profit for you, its creator might have gotten rich trading instead of selling it to you.
1451  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think at some point government will change its stand and adopt Bitcoin? on: July 09, 2023, 05:31:02 AM
With so many news where MicroStrategy start to buy Bitcoin, Pakistan and other country allow their citizen to use Bitcoin, El Salvador and Central African Republic accept Bitcoin as legal tender, and the latest is Blackrock accept Bitcoin as ETF, now you're still asking if government would change it's stand and adopt Bitcoin? I mean there were many proof and yet you still not convinced about Bitcoin adoption.

It's already 2023, it was not when each Bitcoin worth for $1,000.

I also have the same question because nowadays, there are not too many governments banning bitcoin, most of them already accept bitcoin. But I saw him mention accepting bitcoin as a legal tender of El Salvador, so I thought he was referring to accepting bitcoin as a payment method or currency, not a commodity. And if that's what the OP meant, then I really doubt it, I wouldn't believe other governments would do the same thing as the El Salvador government did. They will never allow bitcoin to become the world currency and replace the current fiat system.
1452  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The difference between bitcoin and cryptocurrency. on: July 09, 2023, 05:18:04 AM
Your father is also human, and you, your sister, or your mother are also human, so what's the difference? Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency and cryptocurrency, that's what I understand. As for the difference, bitcoin is entirely decentralized, while altcoins are mostly centralized. I saw someone on this forum claiming bitcoin is a cryptocurrency, and the rest are not. But that view comes from a bitcoin maximalist, so I think there's no arguing with them.

Everyone will have different opinions, I hardly care about this, what I care about is what we are here for and how to achieve our goals, that's what we should care about.
1453  Economy / Speculation / Re: Whats your thought on: July 08, 2023, 04:12:04 PM
I'm curious about the recent pump in Bitcoin's price. What are your thoughts on the factors that contributed to this surge? Do you believe it was primarily driven by positive news, investor speculation, increased mainstream awareness, or a combination of these factors? How do you think this pump will impact the overall cryptocurrency market? Looking forward to hearing your insights and opinions!"
Does it really matter? Sad to say that until now many people are still asking why the reason why it pump and why it dump. I don't want to think but sadly, many still don't understand the volatile nature of the market and of Bitcoin. Why not just become happy as it pumps, in fact, we are looking forward to seeing Bitcoin reach for another ATH. Actually, we can expect such inclining sentiment as the halving comes closer where many investors are coming and buying Bitcoin before the bull season come and this will affect the price.
I also don't understand why people are always looking for a reason every time bitcoin moves, what can they do when they find the cause? Can they even profit from that news? To me, a healthy market is one that is always moving, and it is quite normal to pump or dump bitcoins. Furthermore, volatility is one of the hallmarks of bitcoin, we should be familiar with it rather than surprised.
Yes, bitcoin is unpredictable, and we all want it to go up, so when the price goes up, we should enjoy the moment rather than run around looking for reasons.
1454  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin experience a more price increase during the halving? on: July 08, 2023, 03:58:48 PM

Personally I don't care about the price of bitcoin at all. What really matters is the network and it works pretty good. The NFT stuff ruined a little bit but despite that, btc is still the #1 crypto out there.

Why don't you care about Bitcoin price? So what made you join and hold bitcoin until now? You are the first person I met who doesn't care about bitcoin price because 99% of people invest in bitcoin for profit. Although there are still some people who see bitcoin as a currency, they still have to care about the price of bitcoin because a drop in the price of bitcoin will also cause them to spend more bitcoins than usual. And you can also easily see that 100% of the bitcoin discussions here are also related to the price.
1455  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the way to Prosperity for a Determined Dreamer on: July 08, 2023, 03:51:00 PM
If your teacher can suggest you to join in this forum, it's mean he must have an account and already have experience in this forum, can you show us the account of your teacher?
I also invited my friend to join the forum, I also mentioned the benefits, the knowledge he can find on the forum, and even how to make money through signature campaign. But I never let him know my account, so your request is hard for OP.

So your teacher give you a cellphone in order to make you can learn more about Bitcoin. Based on your story, you're live in a poor family which mean the money of your parents make only enough to feed your family, sometime it's still not enough too and they will borrow money to buy daily needs. How you can make money through Bitcoin when you don't have any money?

His family probably won't be able to provide money for him to invest in bitcoin, but if he tries to find a job and save himself, investing in bitcoin is not impossible. It sounds like you are questioning the OP's story because he just told a story without giving any proof. But we also do not need to be too strict with a newcomer to the forum.
1456  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you not hodling on: July 08, 2023, 03:40:58 PM

Now I want to know what really do you think is holding people back for hodling this period?
Please try to answer the poll and I hope to update the thread with result of the thread after getting enough results, possibly after the 5th page.

Depending on the situation, sometimes we think that holding is the easiest, but it is not as easy as many people think. I mean, if you are always in financial difficulty, how can you hold bitcoin for long? Anyone who wants to invest or save, they should first deal with their daily needs, if even if they can't meet the cost of living, how can they hold bitcoin for long? People can't hold on simply because they don't have too much money, not everyone will have an abundant life like you.
1457  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 08, 2023, 12:45:20 PM
Arda Güler has a lot to learn from Luka Modric. I believe it is a great transfer for the future. In addition, it is loved by a wide audience in Turkey. All Turkish football fans show great importance and love to Arda Güler. We would love to have a football player who can take part in the history of Real Madrid. I hope one day he will become a football player who can win a Balon D'or.
Learning from seniors who have been at Real Madrid for a very long time is a very appropriate thing and also absolutely not wrong for a young player like Arda Güler. I am also very sure that Arda Güler will be able to develop at Real Madrid, especially next season Real Madrid will still be coached by a very experienced coach so that it will make young players like Arda Güler more competent. And I also agree that Arda Güler is a pretty good future player for Real Madrid because he is still very young.
Arda Guler's arrival to Real Madrid would surely be of a great benefit to the player considering the fact that he has an experienced professional players to learn from. Players like Luka Modric and Toni Kroos will be very instrumental to the young player's growth at the club.
The young lad's agent must be very wise to let him join a club that'll help him grow to his full potentials

Hvdv, Arda Güler is obviously a young prospect who is showing really good signs. He is obviously loved in Turkey. I am going to be honest if he is properly nurtured he is going to be a great player for Real Madrid. He is probably not going to get a lot of chances in the first season. But he will have to do well in the chances that he gets.  It is a dream for a lot of players to play for Real Madrid. And he is getting the chance to play for Real Madrid at such an early age. He is certainly going to win a lot of things with Real Madrid I hope
1458  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: July 08, 2023, 09:48:37 AM
The final match of the ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier will be played tomorrow, when the Dutch will take on Sri Lanka. When the last time these two teams met, the match was extremely close. Netherlands had the upper hand most of the time, but in the end they floundered the opportunity and Sri Lanka won the match by a narrow margin of 21 runs. Obviously Netherlands would be looking for revenge and the prospect of becoming the champions in ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier would be an unimaginable outcome for them (as well as the ICC).
To be honest, I did not even know that their team exists before this world cup qualifiers. The way they played in this WC qualifiers is remarkable and even if they lose the final with Srilanka (as Srilanka is a better team), this should not hurt their confidence. They have already achieved the best to reach the world cup.
Really, it is not easy to believe that the Netherlands is moving ahead in the world Cup while the well-known teams like West Indies and Zimbabwe failed to do so.

Of course, Sri Lanka is going to be the winner of this match. Most probably Netherlands will not be able to give a very big fight to Sri Lanka. But that obviously does not matter because they have achieved the great thing that they were after. They are going to play in the world cup and they have achieved a better result compared to West Indies. That is obviously an achievement for them. I thought if West Indies fails it is going to be Zimbabwe to qualify for the world cup. But even though the odds were not in the favour of the Netherlands they have been able to do it.
1459  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: July 08, 2023, 12:36:00 AM
From my point of view the UFC 290 will be so far the best UFC event of the year, I don't know why but I have a bad feeling about Moreno, I feel like he will lose the belt this weekend, but maybe it's only a random feeling, and for this event I only have one bet, and that's Yair Rodrigez to win, I catch an earlier x4.5 on that fight, so, let's see if "El pantera" do the magic and make us hit the moon this weekend.

This is obviously a very interesting UFC event. The main event is obviously going to be great. Let’s see if Alexander Volkanovski can actually win. Also interested to see the Robert Whittaker vs Du Plessis fight. The Dan Hooker fight is also going to be interesting. That UFC does look to be interesting after a few days.

I think in the fight of the main event, Alexander Volkanovski is going to be the winner. The fight is obviously going to be really close. But my opinion is that Alexander Volkanovski has a better experience, and also has lost one fight less compared to his opponent. I don’t know if losing one last match is going to matter too much, but the experience is obviously going to have a big role to play.
1460  Economy / Economics / Re: What will you do when you have Financial Freedom? on: July 07, 2023, 04:00:45 PM
My biggest goal in life is to enjoy as much as possible which is a simple and realistic goal overall. Once I achieve financial freedom in my life at some point, I will focus even more on enjoying as much as possible.

We only have one life which is why I am trying to live my life in this manner to the fullest. Just my 2 cents.

Very realistic, and it's true, many people say they will do charity or try to help others when they become financially free. Honestly, I don't believe what they say because if they want to do charity, they can do it anytime, they don't have to be rich to do it. If we don't have much, we can also give less than others, no one forces us to give more than we have.

If I am financially free, then enjoyment is my primary goal because it is my goal to work hard every day. I also like to live realistically like you, we only live once, so why don't we enjoy life if given the chance?
