1441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Auctus - Smart Contracts Powered Pension Funds | Pre-Sale Starts Oct 3rd on: October 05, 2017, 10:57:48 PM
Am I the only one seeing Auctus Website broken? I tried two different browsers (chrome & firefox) and it's just the same. I did screen capture the page, see the link since the image is too long to post here: https://i.imgur.com/Ztz9iTm.jpg (click the image once to zoom in)

PS. I have a stable connection as well that's why I don't think it's the cause of the problem

Hi, that's odd, we've never seen our website behaving like this before. Will investigate about it and reach you back.

I'm also seeing the error it seems the graphic is not well converted and so some texts are missing, I'm sure your webmaster can fix this thing right away but some of the links are working fine so I'm sure it is a minor issue and can be taken care off easily.

Are you still getting this problem?
Still the same, nothing changes. I visited the website on mobile and it seems to be fine, unlike in web browsers. I don't know if others aside from me and robelneo are experiencing this since they aren't posting about it here. How about you & the team, are you all seeing it normal on your end?

I tried to check using the inspect element and I think the problem is with your font-family. I tried to unchecked it and the text became visible.
Code:
font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Light';

Maybe it is not a web safe font.
1442  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitSoldier.win - OPEN BETA - new game on: October 05, 2017, 09:46:16 PM
Would be fun if there are enemies already, anyway, it's a nice start. It reminds me some of family computer games. As it is different, many users showed interest and have positive feedback about the concept (as seen in the previous posts). Good thing if you will continue the development and succeed up to the implementation.
1443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Coinscalendar.com] ❤❤ Crypto Calendar with Altcoins Events ❤❤ on: October 05, 2017, 08:59:58 PM
You have a great site, looks simple and user friendly. I tried to search a coin (showing the whole Month & Week in the calendar) and I needed to use ctrl+F to find it since all events were in the same color. So I suggest that, if a user searched for a coin and it's in your calendar, why not show it without the other coin events or maybe just highlight it with different color so that it will be seen easily.

I found this user kidsuzudn posted a really off topic reply in a thread, seems suspicious so I checked his past posts. He was copying info from different sites (reddit, the merkle, etc.) and posting here in the forum:

Think of the word "awesome" - it generally correlates with positive sentiments (except in situations where awesome is used in its original meaning, then it's more neutral). Adding a "not" in front or behind the word "awesome" changes the sentiment of the phrase.
You can do sentiment analysis without using a NLP pipeline - there is no need to extract POS-tags, entities or dependencies if you have no need for them. In fact, you can just take a bunch of word vectors, and then average them over a sentence. Then softmax said average vector to your classes, and you'd get a very servicable sentiment analysis that would work 90% of the time. If you go down this path, I suggest using facebook's fasttext library which is..fast, and covers a lot of the challenges I mention below.

On paper, one could argue Bitcoin is better than any other cryptocurrency, token, or digital asset because those other offerings would not be around, were it not for Bitcoin. In this regard, the popular cryptocurrency has a leg up over any other currency in existence. Bitcoin will always be the first “major” cryptocurrency, and it has been around for 9 years now. Ethereum, on the other hand, only came to market a few years ago.
That being said, Ethereum offers some interesting pieces of technology. Smart contracts have been quite a revolutionary technology, although the same concept will be part of the Bitcoin protocol soon. Bitcoin has a disturbing lack of decentralized application possibilities, which makes Ethereum seem “better” in this regard. Then again, there is no “major” decentralized application in existence to be embraced by mainstream society either. Ethereum has a technological edge over Bitcoin, but until it is used by the masses, it is a matter of semantics.

SegWit transactions take less space, are chaper and SegWit block is max 2gb. SegWit allows lightning network that makes transactions extra cheap and fast. We don't need any other increases in blocksize, because we have to keep bitcoin decentralized and runnable at any home PC. So we have to save space. The issue is the precedent, not the 2MB increase. Miners cannot be allowed to hard fork without the users' support. 2MB may be fine but if we accept the precedent, then we'll have 8/16/32MB blocks soon, and maybe eventually inflation.

1446  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: ★ BITCLIX ★ Next Generation Bitcoin PTC ★ CPC From 11 satoshis on: October 04, 2017, 09:25:13 PM
I am only wondering about this:

  • Low Minimum Payout - Low minimum payout threshold of 1000 satoshis with instant payouts!

How will the site cover the transaction fee with such low payout threshold and that too instant? Is the payout to wallet or any accounts like faucethub and like those? The transaction fee to spend these earnings will be higher than what is received.
The payout will be sent to a microwallet : FaucetHub, Xapo and Faucetsystem, the site supports the three and you're free to choose. I wonder why you didn't see it as All Bitcoin Micropayment Processors was mentioned after the Low Minimum Payout in the main post.

@vaibhavsingh how much traffic does your website get as of now?
1447  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I could randomly access a mew wallet on: October 04, 2017, 08:59:59 PM
As far as I remember it has been discussed here before, I just can't find the link. You could guess and open a wallet BUT without a balance. If you're thinking about, someone might guess your key or you could open a wallet with a balance, just don't bother as it is unlikely to happen (it won't be easy). For more accurate and detailed information, visit this blog of MEW here :  Couldn't everybody put in random private keys, look for a balance, and send to their own address?

1448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [Bounty] [ICO] Auctus | Smart Contracts Powered Pension Funds on: October 04, 2017, 05:34:51 PM
I receive letters of this content:
"Visit https://myetherwalletiu.com/# view-wallet-info to unlock your wallet and follow the instructions on their website.
Failure to do so may result in the loss of your tokens. "
What is it, and should I follow this instruction?
Do you want me to give you a secret key from my wallet?
Thanks for the answer.
Where did you get that info? Don't open your wallet in the link given. THAT IS A PHISHING SITE
As you can see, the link is not the legit myetherwallet site. the CORRECT LINK is https://www.myetherwallet.com/ where there is the MYETHERWALLET LLC [US] Certificate.
1449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Help with cryptopia account on: October 02, 2017, 11:40:34 PM
I think you were referring to Verify TwoFactor page. It was not set by the user, Cryptopia added a new level of security. You could get the 6-digit code in the email you used when you register to authenticate your log in. Go ahead, check your email and confirm here if your problem was solved.

1450  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: SeeKoin.com, the Bitcoin search engine on: October 01, 2017, 03:06:48 PM
You have a good concept. I tried to do several searches using different keywords and the results were indeed all about bitcoin/crypto. Though when I searched a keyword that is really not related to crypto, no result was found (which is expected) but no message as well. You should put something like "There's no data found with that keyword", not just a blank page.

Isn't it possible to show results from bitcointalk? Like when a specific coin was searched, if there was a thread about it here, it will show up there as well.
1451  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: WalletWatcher - CryptoCurrency wallet monitoring for portfolio management on: October 01, 2017, 12:16:02 PM
Less hassle since users will not input the purchase amount and so on.

Over 20 different fiat currencies
I saw this info in playstore, where could we see the specific list of fiat currencies included?

~snipped
Another thing you may want to take in consideration is the Add wallet feature, the coins listed are in RadioBoxes, It may be better to use a ComboBox because overtime, more coins will be added and It won't be displayed in a good way.
Or maybe the user can type as well and if the cryptocurrency is available the app will show a suggestion while if not simply put a note that the currency isn't listed yet.

Oh I missed this news. Fortunately, the one on reddit is still there because the page on github have been taken down already. I've been using coinomi wallet for months now, tbh I used it yesterday for few transactions.

I visited their twitter page and saw that they will be giving their official statement about the issue in few days [LINK]. I'll wait for that statement first, I hope we could see it soon. Bad move of blocking that person though.
1454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] uooMAG | Decentralised digital magazine publishing platform | ICO 1 Sep on: September 29, 2017, 02:10:04 AM

Joined ur bounty social media, before end Smiley
goodluck.

You should read previous messages/posts. The ICO was stopped because the project did not raise any funds. Both bounty manager and uooMAG gave an update here already, it's just a matter of time and effort to check. Links for reference:

@irfan, isn't it better to close the thread for now and just write a big note in the main post about what happened?
1455  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Coindroids - On-chain strategy game with coin payouts on: September 29, 2017, 01:49:03 AM
I'm having a problem whenever I click the attack button. I'm getting an error of There was a problem: bad address: (the the address from the site) in my coinomi wallet. Is it only me or other users are experiencing the same?

EDIT: Had a convo with Abstrct through PM and all issues were fixed.
1456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Hero Token [ICO] PRE-SALE | The Future of Banking in Southeast Asia on: September 26, 2017, 11:00:10 PM
I am waiting the new news from the developers but till now I did not get it, whether this project filed?
No, it didn't fail because it doesn't even started. Both pre-sale and ICO doesn't have a specified date yet. It seems that the last update here was last September 17. They have no blog and only active in slack (no idea if same in telegram), but I do hope they update on twitter and facebook as well so that supporters have an idea of what's already going on.

PS. It's annoying and a bit bothersome to stay in slack (in general) because of users that are sending phishing links.

BTW can you explain to me why some of them is highlighted? At first i think that it was the new added oned but you said 5 and i see 3...
So it's for Advertising purposes or something else?

Your question was asked and answered already in the first page. Quoted it for you:

Yellow - it is glod member - sponsored Bounty. It is mean that we are participated in this Bounty.

@OP you missed to answer my question before. I know that you're putting in a lot of effort to organize the bounty campaigns, but I'm curious about this: Are you checking the project first (potential scam or not) or you just put any available bounty?
1458  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitTreasure.io - Bitcoin & Ethereum Bet Game [ Official Thread ] on: September 23, 2017, 07:15:21 PM
Correct me if I'm wrong, I will be using all the chances right? And everytime I get 2 or more treasure that means I won, 1 or none and I lose. The game seems to be catchy. You didn't mention about House Edge by the way?
1459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ICO] uooMAG | Decentralised digital magazine publishing platform | ICO 1 Sept on: September 23, 2017, 06:38:14 PM
This thread is so quiet unlike some other projects. It seems that the project didn't catch a lot of attention despite the fact that they have been so very active in social media. They still didn't collect funds through the ICO even 23 days have passed.

Your team isn't that exposed, not listed in the site, listed here but withouth images, with linked in accounts but without images as well, no video interviews, etc. People always check the team behind the project and I think there is lack of info here.

Still, best of luck to the project.
1460  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Charlie Lee: China Bitcoin Mining Ban Rumors are False on: September 23, 2017, 10:21:40 AM
Good thing if it's false but we are not 100% sure unless it won't really happen. What's sure is that these claimed fake news before (ICOs & Exchanges Ban) bacame true and affected the Bitcoin price indeed. Most people panic as they might lose their investment so if this Mining Ban news become true as well, most people will sell their holdings again which will most likey lead to another price fall.
