Thanks for the update on the roadmap! Looking forward to the addition of the new inhouse games and the Curarao license. This always helps for credibility; a license is not the holy grail but gives the player more confidence to play on a site.

Keno in the first quarter and another in-house game in the second sounds good. The license can give some confidence, or limit access to some people (strange things happens lately with some of the Curacao operators and my country), so I am looking forward to user bonuses and rakeback a bit more than for a license.

More and more sites have "live stats" for in-house games, and some of them even for third-party games. I don't see that in the road-map, but I hope you will consider that.

On top of this, I have accumulated 300+ spins now. However, I am waiting for them to reach 1000 spins. It ain't easy to hold but the party is on!

I noticed today that the size of the base prize from the wheel of fortune has already decreased from 50 to 48 sats. So if BTC continues to grow at the same rate, you should think about using those 300+ spins now rather than waiting until you have 1000 spins in your account. In other words, you could potentially miss out on a lot of sats and RP as well as lottery tickets.

I noticed the same thing... I thought about a reward decrease, but I didn't expect it so soon. I have a lot more WoF spins, and in one second I was thinking to spin all of them, but I decided to wait. I think it's just temporary (maybe I am wrong about it), so I will wait a bit more.
I'm aware that we who hold can miss out on some sats and RPs, but if we get Rolex it won't matter much anyway. Smiley

1443  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Addiction Test on: March 14, 2023, 06:59:36 AM
Most of choices are "NO" but still ending up on having Moderate Indication of Gambling AddictionCheesy

I agree into some words above that being honest is sometimes its really hard. There are indeed questions could really be answ0ered neither Yes or No.LOL0
In general, i do play when i do get bored which means i do seek for leisure but there are times which greeds do activates. hehe

We are all addicts... when we do things we like we need to be addicted, more or less. I believe most of us play comfortably, but I agree that there's some greediness in each of us, and it turns on more or less often. Moments of heat and passion... and not-so-rational thinking.

In the end, I think that it all comes down to the simple question, can you afford to spend money on gambling? Those who can afford to play & lose will gamble for fun and entertainment, and those who risk what they can afford to lose will face consequences, sooner or later.
1444  Economy / Economics / Re: Americans go to Mexico for medicals to cut costs. on: March 13, 2023, 09:45:34 PM
The recent kidnapping of four Americans exposed me to the medical tourism going on in America. I have always thought that the US was a perfect country has very functional health, economic, and political systems. I thought all Americans have access to cheap and quality medical services until I read that over one million Americans go on medical tourism in Mexico yearly.

And the reason why some of them choose Mexico was because of its quality and low cost. These medical tourists are aware that it is risky to do to some parts of Mexico, but they still go there because they want to cut costs.
Is there any other reason why Americans go to Mexico for medical?

Medical tourism is not new, and it's widespread! Sometimes it's cheaper but in some cases, people choose other countries with "more flexible laws"... simply said you can get any kind of medical intervention if you have money. In the past years, there's been a big drama in Poland and new regulations about abortion, and girls/women go to nearby countries for that.

Not so long ago, a young boy died on the operating table, and a woman had complications after the operation, when she returned to Serbia, they tried to save her, but unfortunately, she also passed away. They decided to be treated in Turkey, through some agencies that promised them the best care at much more affordable prices. Their families are trying to find some justice, but it's so complicated according to their statements that I had the opportunity to read.

Definitely, it's a hard decision to make, but when people are short on money and they desperately need/want some medical intervention choosing the risky path is sometimes the only path.

This has to be a fairly lucky day for me. So I was rolling and this happened. Got 9993 and missed one decimal increment in the next reward. Just "1" man, it was so a tight call, to be honest.

Anyways, I am happy that I rolled this number because it was like another whole year to get this much luck. Lolz.

Though on the other hand, we are always wanting to roll that 10000 number which is one in million odd for a guy like me who always rolls only the basic reward.

Has anyone got lucky today or recently who rolled $200 rewards? Please share and make the community motivated to free roll.

On top of this, I have accumulated 300+ spins now. However, I am waiting for them to reach 1000 spins. It ain't easy to hold but the party is on!

Nice hit! My highest was between 9994 and 9997, I hit that a few times over the years, but not lately... hitting 10000 is like a mission impossible. I also wonder how often people hit a $200 reward... maybe one or two users per month. Smiley

Good luck with accumulating WoF spins! I wish you even more luck when you decide to spin them... I guess you are waiting for Lambo (in 31 days) as I do, by that time I will have around 1500 WoF spins.

Check out the first edition of our Wolf.Bet Weekly Recap with our players having achieved some great wins: https://wolf.bet/blog/wolf-bet-weekly-recap-1/

A $2 bet for $5,353 on the Punk Toilet slot by Nolimit City is the most interesting one! A few days ago I was buying bonuses on NoLimit and not even one went over x100! Most of them were around x10 and lower, I busted my amount in 10 minutes more or less. Smiley

Quote
IzMeRoller turned a $190 bet on Monopoly Live into a whopping $9,510 win, as well as a $155 bet that resulted in a $7,855 win. On Crazy Time, IzMeRoller won $6,698 on a $136 bet.

Well, I saw some pretty crazy wins on these live games! I guess this guy was pretty lucky with these big bets, I would never bet that big on Crazy time or Monopoly.

I like the "Weekly Recap" idea, it's interesting to see the biggest weekly winners and their bets.
1447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The fear of KYC requirements on: March 13, 2023, 08:24:15 AM
Have you ever seen a online casino website that displays, No kYC requirements or KYC requirement for **** amount of withdrawal before? And why won't any online casinos do something like this? I believe this is suppose to boost users and players confidence when they are about to try out new gambling platforms for the first time.

I believe this is still affecting online gambling platforms because this is one of the most common issues that online gamblers are still facing.
yes, I've seen casinos that have this kind of rule on their ToS before(but I can't remember which ones). but before someone go and try out a casino with this rule, they should also know and put it in their mind that the casino can still ask you for your KYC even if you haven't reached X withdrawal amount.

I have seen it as well, and I think it's some new casino, but I can remember which one exactly and where I saw it, KYC for deposits/withdrawals over 2 BTC...

KYC shouldn't be an issue for fair players. I personally don't like it, and I avoid it whenever I can (whatever service it is) but if I have to pass it in order to use some service I really like, or I have some money stuck and KYC is a requirement, I will simply verify myself.

We can talk about rules, but rules can be bent for any reason and services usually reserve the right to do that in some "special cases"... small letters are the ones that are f. us.
1448  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people stay poor? on: March 12, 2023, 09:49:52 PM
Simply some of us don't have that ambition in ourselves. There are many ways for becoming rich, and each way demands some sacrifice... and in the end, the question is what for!? Do we really need a lot of money to be happy and fulfilled? Running for cash that will buy dreams is a neverending game, there's always more.

I'm not poor or rich, and sometimes it's hard for me to understand why some guys are worth billions of dollars (with all their houses, yachts, etc...) while half of the world lives in poverty! In the 21st century...
1449  Economy / Gambling / Re: How succesful will AI projects be to win the house? on: March 12, 2023, 09:16:53 PM
Do you think AI will be more successful to get a working gambling strategy to win the house... and if they do, what will be the impact on casinos?

I don't think an AI like ChatGPT will be able to beat a gambling website that has a house edge.
In the long run, AI will get beaten by gambling websites with a house edge. I doubt AI will be successful at the job provided to it.

It's because casinos are using an even better version of AI! They can afford it... in the end (or beginning) it's all math! And AI is probably beating us in math...

I tried ChatGPT, just a few questions... I got very detailed answers, it stuck at some sex-related questions, which was funny! Smiley Anyway, I guess that with some right questions, ChatGPT can give "good answers". Of course, the question is how successful it can be. I guess everything over 60-70% would be great. I will not test it, but I believe some people will for sure...

We apologize for the miscommunication. While we work to obtain a new supply of hats we would like to offer you a few March Madness event tickets instead.

Please confirm the screen name you wish to use.

Username Iv4n, same as here! Apologize accepted and thanks for the tickets! I checked https://swcpoker.club/posts/bitcoin-poker-tournaments/march-madness-over-3-btc-gtd and I must say it looks impressive! I never participated in anything similar. The timing of games will be a tricky part, but I will give my best to organize my time. Tickets for this kind of event look even better than hats anyway! Smiley

PS: I still have two tickets for BIG BTC, but that starts at 1 AM for me... they will expire in December this year, I am not sure how but I will try to use them both! Smiley

I'm looking forward to some "poker competition" on the forum. We definitely need more "poker" related stuff... Smiley

I think after running 4 series they decided to do the next one on a different site that offered some guaranteed prizes: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5284992.msg55470852#msg55470852

And it looks like this is still ongoing, here's the fresh thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5437680.0

It would be great if the forum tournament returned to SwC - the oldest-running bitcoin poker site. Maybe if they sponsored some prizes it could happen again. Or SwC could run an alternative tournament for bitcointalk. It's not like there can be only one.

I participated in all of them (btctalk poker series). But the first ones at SwC were the best. I doubt we will see all those names together again... sitting at the tables! With the same enthusiasm! It's really hard to describe everything we had in those series. Smiley

That "still ongoing" hasn't started yet. I will probably play it, but it's something different... and it's on Betnomi! It's why I wrote that "I'm looking forward to some "poker competition" on the forum". If SwC starts something that would make things interesting (at least for us poker players).

...

Welcome back! I'm still waiting for my two hats. Wink

I guess the most interesting game is "Monthly Afterparty": -snip-
I haven't noticed the tournament yet. Yes, it looks interesting, but I don't like playing with that much chips.
In addition, it will certainly be very time-consuming and, like with you, time is often a factor that I do not have.  Smiley

GTD tournaments with high prizes are often long games, with a lot of chips and a long late registration period what we can expect. But if you check the prize distribution for this tournament you will see how nice they are... especially for the top 10 places. And good about this specific tournament is that there are no re-buys.

I guess to play and be at the top we need a lot more than just time... energy and patience to endure, it's not easy to play so long and be focused entire time, where one little mistake can cost you hours of playing.

...
Joined that once I guess, got in through tickets from satellite but nah I didnt get anything from that tournament

I will play it definitely, but I am not sure when.

We used to be running some pretty big games for bitcointalk, the "first ever bitcointalk poker series" actually... Wink
..

Unrepeatable... maybe there will be btctalk poker tournaments in the future (and there should be), but I doubt that they will attract the "old team" and be able to awaken the same enthusiasm in the players, everyone gave something to make it more interesting, more or less!

...
Btw, has there ever been some kind of home game for bitcointalk members at swc?

I'm looking forward to some "poker competition" on the forum. We definitely need more "poker" related stuff... Smiley
1455  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|🎉BetFury Affiliate Program is live| 💸Earn with RevShare up to 60% on: March 10, 2023, 07:47:57 PM

Question to those who uses social media - how often do you pay attention to posts where people share their success in gambling? Just curious if this BetFury feature will work at all.

I personally don't pay attention to such tweets at all Grin This is even more annoying than really benefiting the platform in terms of attracting new players.
They should get some cool rapper as an ambassador)That would really be a smart marketing solution.

I guess you think about Stake and Drake combo! I am sure that Drake is bringing a lot of traffic, a lot of people follow him, and he and his "crazy betting sessions" are interesting to watch... From time to time we even have threads about Drake's big wins/losses here on the forum. So I agree that this kind of marketing solution is good for business.

I pay attention to posts where people share their success in gambling, especially when the max win on some slot is in question! I think any "over x5k" win on slots deserves some attention. As a slot player, I would like to hit that max win once... with a $1 or higher bet if possible!
1456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Too harsh on user? on: March 10, 2023, 06:49:49 PM
I played (and still play) in some casinos from several IP addresses. I play mostly from home (1 IP), sometimes I use mobile internet (2 IP), and when I hang out with kids at parent's house I use their WiFi (3 IP address). I just log in and I play without any problems... without KYC after years of actively playing in those casinos.

So from my experience, I doubt that any player will be sanctioned just because he used different IP for the same account (the same device or not is even more ridiculous, I gamble from a laptop and mobile phone in the same casinos from different IP addresses, and in few occasions, I used my wife laptop...). So there's something more, it's not just about different IPs! Maybe OP's friend tried to create multiple accounts and abuse some free drops and bonuses... that happens more often than we think.

So how far have you managed to get through? The problem with freerolls tournament is that most people have no sense of money involved in it therefore even if you get through the 1st phase, the 2nd and 3rd phase will be pretty devastating as most players will be splashing all their big stack right from the start. I honestly cant handle the freerolls field for sure, its just wild in there
Yes, it's really wild in free rolls. People go all in all the time and it takes a lot of luck to win them. I finished 8th in the first game, got kicked out right at the beginning of the second game and finished 6th in the third game. So I didn't win anything in the free rolls. Because the blinds increase every 2 minutes, the games don't last very long. Either way it was fun.  Smiley

It's total madness cause of the fast blinds... when blinds are fast a player must push with all in-s just to stay alive. And we all know that all-ins are a pure gamble, I can't count how many times I lost with some high pair vs two small cards. Smiley

I guess the most interesting game is "Monthly Afterparty":

But from month to month, I simply can't find enough free time for that game! Always something... I need a free day for getting some rest for all-night poker with 1M chips! I don't remember the last time I had that.
1458  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it legal for our kids to learn trade? on: March 09, 2023, 05:08:55 PM
I want to know if it right for children that are of 10-15years go in to trade or not because I have a kid friend of about 14years and very eager to learn trading but am scared of the lost and how long it will take him to understand what his doing, because it hasn't been very easy for me. So what your opinion please I need help? because I think is too risky for them to go in to trade for now.

You don't need to have a kid to be aware of the fact that a 5-year difference in that age is huge! Literally, at 10 years old you are still confused about what sex really is, at 15 you maybe even tasted it! 10 is definitely too young for many things, while 15 is high school already, which is a lot more serious, and at that age, we are experiencing many "grown-up" stuff! Can trading be one of those things, I am sure it can if that kid has some good math/accounting knowledge. With a good teacher, I guess that kid could have the potential to learn to trade and be successful in the long run. Sometimes sooner is better, of course, with the right conditions.

So I got my free Golden Ticket today, from a spin. Seems like it's my destiny to always win one spin to get these tickets every round. I'm going to actually hope I don't get another till the end of the round, and my single ticket will win the Lambo (haha). I'll be so legendary in these parts after that.

Funny how I'd won my past ones from email spins, now I've got Premium and I only get the one strike now -- Lady Luck huh.

Lady Luck, there's no other explanation... if she smiles upon you you can win the Lambo with a single ticket, and definitely, that would be crazy! If that happens by any chance, I would think about a "Golden ticket/Lambo/Freebitcoin" tattoo! Smiley

Since the last Lambo draw I didn't win a single Golden ticket from the daily free spins we get, I have 5 from wagering. I also have +1300 collected tickets from premium, but I guess Rolex or iPhone would be much better prizes.

The event will start this coming Friday and bonus buys are eligible as long as the minimum bets are met.

Good luck Gosus!

Multiplier madness after a long time, this will be an interesting weekend. And maybe it's about time I hit some high multi and win the event, after losing a few deposits on those slots... and buying bonuses didn't help much!  Shocked

We will see if that changes these days. Good luck to everyone!
