1441  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Freedom on: February 03, 2017, 11:59:50 PM
yeah bitcoin is freedom. It makes us anonymous in transactions just by using it as a medium. It also makes us safe from identity theft or fraud sitea that intends to get our credit card details and the likes. Bitcoin opened to us a chance to shop online anonymously without ever giving our credit card information to strangers online that might not be trusted.
1442  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price climbing fast again on: February 03, 2017, 11:00:37 PM
For now the price is rising up but not that fast. This might be healthy for bitcoin price but I do expect some correction again or a dump soon enough if there will be a whale or two that will do profit taking. If that were to happen, price would drop a little depending on how many whale will dump. Its also possible that they will wait more before dumping so let's just see what happens.
1443  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price climbing fast again on: February 03, 2017, 01:32:26 PM
I'm not getting excited until we break the ATH. (Even then it'll most likely drop to the $1000 area soon after)

These small up and downs are normal.

It is highly likely to happen in the near future, the price was ceased to pump in last time because PBOC inspect Chinese big 3 exchanges, now they are well regulated and examined by PBOC leaders, PBOC should not do more inspections because everything is gonna well. They need more confidence on bitcoin because it is the real gem.
Well PBOC will not get bitcoin to die since if chinese exits the market, it would just mean that there will be less population that controls bitcoin's price at their will unless PBOC will try to regulate bitcoin price by keeping it at a certain point. I really do agree though they should open their eyes to see that bitcoin is a real gem. If they will regulate bitcoin price later this week, I expect to se a price dump.
1444  Economy / Speculation / Re: it IS time for rise on: February 02, 2017, 01:22:57 PM
While I am typing this reply now on this thread, 988.0 US Dollars was the current price of bitcoin according to preev and all I can say is that it might still continue to rise and might stabilize to 1000$ above. I really do hope that this steady rise and correction will go on but there will be a time where it will stop but no one can really tell when so I hope that this price ranges last in my opinion it will last until april or somewhere around that.
1445  Economy / Economics / Re: On what way would you know that your investing on the right business? on: February 02, 2017, 10:23:40 AM
You OP can now if you are investing on the right business if you get good profit for it for a long time. For example, you started altcoin trading and you are always having a good profit in every trade, it means that investing on altcoin trading is good for you. Also, you would know that you are investing on the right business if you can see that you are not being tricked or scammed by someone except altcoin trading since there is many scam there.
1446  Economy / Economics / Re: Make money from money on: January 31, 2017, 09:50:56 PM
A good investor should have patience down to their bones IMO since patience is all they need to profit from their investment. Also, they must be risk takers that have a good amount of capital not just a little so that they will profit in their investment. The factors that makes those who make money from money successful is their mindset and of course decision making skills. If they decided to early, they might not profit or they will profit less. The same goes when they decided to opt out too late, they might lose some money or they will profit less so mindset and decision making skills are the factors that make them earn a good sum of money.
1447  Economy / Economics / Re: Where can i invest my money? on: January 30, 2017, 08:36:13 PM
If Op got a lot of money just like what he said,  OP will profit by just holding bitcoin. He can buy it when the price is low and sell it when the price is high. Patience is all he needs so I think even if he still has no knowledge about bitcoin, he can just learn about it since IMO it is the easiest way to profit on OP's money. I know he can learn about it here since there are many info in this forum that teaches about bitcoin.
1448  Economy / Economics / Re: What Would Happen If Bitcoin Were Declared Illegal in the USA? on: January 29, 2017, 10:15:18 AM
I guess if bitcoin were declared illegal in the USA, many users will dump their coin since they can't convert it to real money easily anymore if it were made illegal there. There are some users though that might hide huge amounts of bitcoin to exchange later on but most of the bitcoin users in the USA will probably dump the coin they have, causing a temporary dump and some pump in the long run if there are some users in USA that are willing to hide some bitcoin on their cold wallets.
1449  Economy / Economics / Re: How did Bitcoin start to price increase? on: January 28, 2017, 09:48:37 AM
Bitcoin's price is always on the move because of its users in my opinion. Transactions happen everyday not to mention to many of them that makes the market go unstable. Unlike fiat that the value is determined because it was decentralized, the value bitcoin has is determined by the buying and selling that everyone who uses it do. Thus transactions are important in determining it's price since it is the one who made bitcoin's price start to rise.
1450  Economy / Economics / Re: How many Bitcoin do you have saved? on: January 28, 2017, 06:40:44 AM
For now all bitcoin I have saved has been converted into fiat and I am waiting for another good opportunity to rebuy back the same amount of bitcoin that I sold out at a cheaper price. I don't got that much bitcoin though it is less than 1 BTC but thats the least I can do to enjoy the pumps and dumps of bitcoin and make a profit out of it, sell all the coin I have then rebuy it at cheaper price.
1451  Economy / Economics / Re: What Will it Take For BTC to Reach $1000? on: January 27, 2017, 10:50:26 PM
Before BTC reach 1000$ again, it might take some time and of course demand needed for it to go up to the 1000$ ranges again. Also, it might take another halving again for bitcoin to reach 1000$ just in case there wont be another event where bitcoin will be needed. Let's just wait and see since I know that someday bitcoin's price will be above 1000$ or more.
1452  Economy / Speculation / Re: Safe to say Bitcoin "probably" won't go lower than $600-$700 on: January 26, 2017, 09:54:09 PM
Guys, price of bitcoin should be more stable now. Chinese exchanges limited their leverage trading option which was known for being main reason behind current bitcoin's price volatility.
Margin traders were dragging price down as they usually tend to panic and sell to limit their loses. We may enter era of small steps and continuous rise.
I agree with you, there's still the possibility that it might go lower than 600$ or 700$ but there is the chance it wont ever even go beyond that point since like what the guy in the quote said, Chinese exchanges limited their leverage trading option therefore the force that the Chinese people have in terms of dumping is lessened so we might not see another 300$ or 200$ again.
1453  Other / Politics & Society / Re: A beautiful disaster for the Philippines on: January 26, 2017, 08:43:02 AM
I really do like the way duterte want to prevent drug abuse, but in my opinion he might be doing it wrong. The action he is doing might be headed to a good future, but there is still the possibility that it ain't and the country will remain the same. Instead of killing a random stranger using drugs, I guess he should just focus on improving the country's economy or maybe finding the big bosses of drugs first to stop the problem with less killings required.
1454  Economy / Speculation / Re: I have not invested in Bitcoin when it was 200 US dollars on: January 22, 2017, 08:30:57 AM
Not investing in bitcoin when it was 200$ is really regretable now that it reached 1000$ in price. In my opinion, we can just wait for it to go down in price again since there is the chance that it will go down to price below 400$ again but there is also a possibility that it wont so lets just wait and see what will really happen. Who knows maybe in the next months we will have a great opportunity to buy again.
1455  Economy / Speculation / Re: Time to buy? on: January 22, 2017, 05:56:19 AM
Right now, I think it is not a wise decision to buy bitcoin at its current price since any price above 700$ is too risky. There is a probability that it will fall below 700$ before rise so its better to wait but if you are in for long term, it is a good time to buy now but if your in for short term, its not wise to buy now. You can just buy a little now and wait for an opportunity to buy more again at low price.
1456  Economy / Economics / Re: What would happen if Bitcoin became a legal currency? on: January 22, 2017, 04:43:50 AM
Bitcoin in my opinion cannot become a legal currency, since right now it is not looked upon as a legal currency, but as an investment. If it were to become one though, it would be great since there will be higher demand. Because of higher demand, bitcoin's price will go up and up but there is this problem with the supply so it being a legal currency seems like impossible to me.
1457  Economy / Economics / Re: Successful bitcoin entrepreneurs? on: January 21, 2017, 11:55:27 PM
To be honest I don't earn 0.5 BTC per month but there are some I know who earn more than that. The key to their success though I think is by taking risk since they are such risk takers, investing on many investment sites with their money and also investing in many altcoins using many bitcoin, and they profit more with it by taking risk. Risk I think is the key to success but im not that of a risk taker.
1458  Economy / Economics / Re: Which one is good, trading or investing? on: January 21, 2017, 09:55:20 AM
In my opinion, trading is better than investing since most investment sites turns to scam eventually and you don't know when they will turn into one. In trading, if you have the skills and a good amount of btc to invest you can make good profit but if you don't know how to trade yet, just choose to invest in investment sites that you trust so that you can profit easily.
1459  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we make more money? on: January 20, 2017, 11:42:01 PM
To be successful in trading, you should not trust only one altcoin as the saying " Don't put your eggs in one basket " says. Also, there's other ways to invest in trading such as investing on good ICO's since you can make good profit with this. Investing in ICO's is worthwhile only if the price of the unreleased coin rises up when released if it didn't pump, well the money's lost or with losses.
1460  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wild thought on: January 19, 2017, 09:24:53 PM
I doubt that daywould ever happen. Trump would not make dollar invalid since it is not that weak, and it is considered as base currency of many currency so there's no way trump would ever do that. He might just affect bitcoin's price at some point but not because he will make dollar invalid, but because of other reasons or happenings that will happen in the future.
