1442  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betnomi | Project status on: November 19, 2023, 10:30:22 PM
This thread sounds like Mt. Gox promises and I guess that the users will have to wait their whole lives to get refunded because such cases never get solved, and the Betnomi will continue to create such threads in order to give hopes to the users who has lost their funds. If Betnomi is really committed to refunding the users then it's a good thing but I still think they will just make such promises and won't refund anyone.
1443  Economy / Gambling / Re: what are the best crypto casinos! on: November 19, 2023, 10:20:41 PM
I liked Casino500 and Roobet.

I first checked out Roobet because they have generous competitions and a great subscription campaign here on the forum - the slots were pretty fun, but I especially liked the new game about Yeti, where they jump on ice platforms, essentially a game of “guess 1 out of 3”.

I haven't yet checked Casino500 but yeah Roobet is a quite good platform and I have played some games on their platform a few weeks ago. I don't currently play anymore with them because I have been busy with some other work for some time but surely they are among the reputed casinos that we have on our forum.

I hope that Roobet may offer those contests for many upcoming months and I would say that congratulations to you for winning most of the contests and man your panting and drawing skills are at another level. I haven't tested their new game but yeah I used to play crash on Roobet and the experience was quite entertaining.

1444  Other / Meta / Re: BitcoinTalk 14 years ago on: November 19, 2023, 10:12:28 PM
Man, 14 years and we now have something that no one expected. The forum has grown to way higher levels then expected and if I'm not wrong then the forum used to be hosted on another site and basically it was a built in board of that site but now the forum is on its own domain name and people know it by the name of Bitcointalk.org which is a great achievement.

I would say thumbs up to all those people who contributed to the forum in its early days and it's because of those people that we are still using this forum. This forum is only of the most important things in the lives of the users who post here and some of us enjoy spending hours on this forum.

Congratulations on 14th birthday of the forum and I hope that after 6 more years we will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of this amazing forum and surely by then the worth of a single Bitcoin will be over $250k or maybe over $1M a coin.

It's our optimistic thinking that has helped us to be here for more than 14 years and I'm proud to say that I have been a member of this forum since 2016 and it has been a life changer for me.
1445  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack game with side bets. on: November 19, 2023, 10:01:16 PM
Hi folks. I published Blackjack 21 game with side bets and detailed analyses.
I would be glad if you download and support. Thanks.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.yns.blackjack
Why do we need to download it? Is there a way to read it instead?
We know how risky to download a file to unknown sources so you cannot force anyone here to download the file. If you really want to share your analysis then make it available online where we can just read if instead of downloading it. Reminder to everyone here not to download any file easily, do your own research as well and make sure it is safe before you download any files.

Yes, I think it would be better in a form of a online site page where we could read the analysis instead of downloading an app that we can't trust or that might contain malicious code in it. In fact it's going to be way easier to make an online version of such analysis because it would online require HTML and nothing else.

Let's say if the OP want us to read the report in the form of an app because he/she wants to earn revenue from the google ads then still we as users are worried that the file may come with malware that could be harmful for our smartphones. I would say that OP you should either make an online version of it or make it in a form of e-documents so the users can read it without risking their devices.
1446  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best thing that have ever come to you thanks to BTC on: November 19, 2023, 08:41:16 PM
There isn't a single best thing that happened in my life because of Bitcoin but many best things that happened in my life because of Bitcoin. I was also late in knowing about Bitcoin, I learnt about Bitcoin in 2016, and since then I have got a lot of things in my life only because of Bitcoin that I would never get if Bitcoin wasn't there.

I can say that I'm currently living my life with no financial problems and all thanks goes to Bitcoin only. I'm also a trader I can say that it's because of Bitcoin we see those crypto exchanges where people can easily trade Bitcoin with other coins and earn profits for the work. Not only you but we all are thankful to Satoshi for creating this amazing payment option for us.

1447  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 19, 2023, 12:26:33 AM
Starship launch happening very soon for those who are interested.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mhJRzQsLZGg

That was one hell of an achievement. If life is a game, getting beyond the great filter is no doubt the hardest thing you could accomplish. Elon Musk is truly a master of this game.

I think this launch will look similar to the Bitcoin price in 2025. Smiley

I'm not a big fan of Elon Musk but yeah Starship is a good project as it will allow us to see the other side of the picture which we aren't fully aware of yet but unfortunately I think their spaceship failed once again. But, hell yeah Bitcoin's price in 2025 won't disappoint us because it isn't the property of that Musk.
1448  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The people from Bitciontalk are a good company to keep. on: November 18, 2023, 09:13:38 PM
The company you keep has a lot of effect on you. Many Investors who are also forum members would have stopped investing a long time ago or become inconsistent and uncommitted with their investment if they were not in this forum. There is something about being together with people with the same interest you have that I have noticed, their commitment can always motivate you when you feel like giving up, and help you make more stable decisions. Many investors who are not forum members will be finding it difficult to maintain their seriousness to invest regularly because they are doing things on their own. If many of those investors find this forum, it will be very valuable for them.

Investing is matter of someone's understanding about an assert or a market because if someone isn't knowledgeable about an asset then that person may not invest their money into it. This forum is a good place for those investors who want to invest money into Bitcoin and earn some good profits from their investments.

There are many good investors who fortunately are the members of this forum and they have been sharing some details about their investments into Bitcoin with other users. Some users get motivated after reading the investments of those users and I believe if someone who's active in WO thread can easily guess that who those users are.

I would say that @philipma1957, @JJG, @LFC_Bitcoin and a few others who share some details about investing into Bitcoin on that thread. I believe that those who give up aren't investors at all because they don't know anything about investing. In investing we sometimes lose while sometimes we gain huge profits. It's a great journey which doesn't ends and if someone is into it then that person will continue to invest.
1449  Other / Meta / Re: How does total time logged in count? on: November 18, 2023, 08:56:03 PM
yeah I never ever ever log out unless there is a power outage I have been logged on since aug 2012 which is about 11 years 3 months.  I think my log in time listed is 500 days.

I am at ::

Total time logged in: 487 days, 7 hours and 1 minutes.

about 16 months time.

That's quite interesting to know because I guess that you and only a few other members may have that many logged in days on this forum. Most of the members of the forum haven't even completed their 100th logged in day and only a few have completed their 365 logged in days.

Is it possible for others to see your logged in days or only you can see that? If I'm not wrong then the administrators or moderators might be able to see the users logged in time. Are third-party sites like BPIP.org, or Loyce.club or Ninjastic.space can determine the exact logged time or those sites are unable to determine those things?
1450  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Estimate halving time with block time and a calculator on: November 18, 2023, 08:45:55 PM
Those calculators won't be able to tell us an exact date about Bitcoin's next halving but they will continue to give us estimated dates based on the calculations. I believe that next halving is going to occur during 2024 and if we see the yearly thing then there is no need to go with the exact date. By the way after halving it will still take Bitcoin sometime to go to it's ATH and that's why the halving is just an indicator for that upcoming ATH that we all want to see.
1451  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Altcoins on: November 18, 2023, 08:42:04 PM
Most of the altcoins are useless and can be manipulated by the creators. On the other hand Bitcoin isn't manipulatable by its creator or someone else so in that simple sense Bitcoin is unique. I'm not a big fan of altcoins but sometimes I use to trade with those altcoins when I see some profitable moves as a trader but most of those altcoins are totally useless and someone who delves into altcoins without proper research or luck may lose a lot of money.

There are some good projects in the altcoins world but still those are risky as compare to Bitcoin, and I believe if someone wants to go with the route of altcoins then that user has to choose only few reputed altcoins that have been known to perform well for many years. New altcoins aren't good at all and investing in those coins is just like gambling, so it's always better to go with old and known altcoins instead of going with new altcoins.
1452  Economy / Services / Re: Need a hire to collect and send emails 500 emails a day 150 euro a day on: November 18, 2023, 08:35:42 PM
once 150 emails are sent 50 usd is  paid . then 150 50 usd is paid then 200 50 usd is paid.

Are you going to pay the users with Bitcoin or something else? Because here in this forum the services board is mostly for Bitcoin payments and if someone doesn't pay with Bitcoin then such threads should not be posted here. I also want to know that what type of e-mails the user has to send because if the e-mail contain something illegal then the user might face troubles.

I would also want to know that are you going to have a trusted escrow from this forum or you're going to send the money yourself because if you deposit some funds with a trusted escrow then people may still want to work for you.
1453  Economy / Services / Re: Need a hire to collect and send emails 500 emails a day 150 euro a day on: November 17, 2023, 11:02:33 PM
Can you tell us that how will you pay the users who work for you? Are you going to pay them half money in advance and half when job is completed or you're going to pay them when they complete the job? I'm quite sure that you will choose the 2nd option because that way you'll get your work done and you won't pay the ones who have completed your work.

You already have 2 red tags from the reputed members of the forum and I believe you should stop making such posts because no one will trust you or want to work with you. I don't believe that someone like you will even pay $1 for the hard work of sending 500 e-mails a day and anyone who works with you may get scammed.
1454  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: It's better to provide Quality and not Quantity... on: November 17, 2023, 10:56:47 PM
Hey forum family!

I am coming to this post for all new members joining here.
I want to share my advice based on what I have seen in the forum till now.

Everyone who starts an account to Bitcointalk feels the urge to post like crazy in order to stay relevant.

In the end, this forum is like a social community so craft something awesome, something that adds value!

Oh buddy, it took you so long to post this thread because you have created your account in 2018 and you have posted this thread in final quarter of 2023. Why you are still a newbie even after knowing about this forum since 2018? I mean anyone could learn and improve their posting in that long duration but you hardly have 12 posts and in this thread you're trying to guide other newbies about the style of posting.

Just be a real person buddy and start making some good posts yourself and get ranked to a higher level before creating threads like this because such threads can misguide others as you haven't reached any good rank level yourself and you're trying to teach others about it.

Sometimes quality matter a lot but sometimes quantity doesn't mean that posts are low in quality and are posted only to increase the post count of a members. Every member has their own posting style and if we keep that in mind then some members tend to make more posts than others but those posts are good in quality while other members make less number of posts but those posts lack quality in them.

I must say that the more a member contributes the better response and appreciation he/she gets from the other members of the forum. A member who makes 10 good and helpful posts contributes more to the community than a member you posts 2 good and helpful posts.
1455  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are there fewer women Than men involved in Bitcoin? on: November 17, 2023, 10:46:55 PM
I would appreciate if we can talk about this here. What could be responsible for this?

Well, Bitcoin is something that's for the ones who are good at technology and I believe that most women don't really care much about technology and financial things because they mostly want to earn and spend and that's how they do while men are good at technology and also at financial things and they mostly want to be rich and have good status in a society.

I have seen many women who really don't care much about money because they believe that if men are earning money then they can spend that money for the shopping purposes. Especially, in South Asia very few women want to do any kind of thing that would make them money, the number of women as sellers is also low, and their number is also low in real estate.

Those women who are interested in Bitcoin are pretty good at technology and at the same time they have business mindset which most of the women don't have by nature or because of the rules of the society. I would say "Thumbs up," for those women who are interested in Bitcoin because they will be very few in number but they understanding about finance is as good as men. In fact, I believe that women can handle most of the things better than men.
1456  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Not all educated are educated. on: November 17, 2023, 10:24:10 PM
Mixers are seen to be used for illegal activities but the money in banks are not seeing to be used for money laundering and terrorism financing. Among the most fiats used for illegal activities, only little do the government and regulators know about. If there is no bitcoin or other coins and tokens, there will be illegal activities both online and offline and their scam fiat will be used for it.

They are against mixers because the mixers are known to increase privacy of the coins and they don't want the coins to have high privacy. They mostly favor the centralized exchanges because those exchanges share user details with them and that's will help them to speculate those users.

Fiat is more likely to be used for illegal activities than Bitcoin or any other crypto-currency because fiat is available in digital form as well and can be transferred to anyone without any question.

Fiat is also available in physical form and people tend to do more illegal activities with fiat in physical form which we call as cash, and fortunately Bitcoin isn't a physical thing and that's good for everyone.

It's a fact that completely halt down of Bitcoin and other crypto-currencies won't stop the people from doing their illegal activities. Those people will do their illegal activities even without Bitcoin and they have been doing such illegal activities for so many centuries when even Bitcoin wasn't there.
1457  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not a get rich quick scheme. on: November 17, 2023, 09:26:25 PM
Bitcoin right now probably can't make you rich, but it can help give a good boost to your net worth — obviously due to price appreciation, and depreciation of fiat currencies.

Bitcoin isn't a get rich quick scheme, it's a not-get-poorer scheme.

Well, I believe that Bitcoin can still make many people rich who are into the field of trading because the volatility of Bitcoin is still better than many stocks and the ones who are good at Bitcoin trading can still earn substantial amount of income from it. But, I agree that anyone who still buys Bitcoin and hold it for 2-4 years may not get rich because the price won't grow as crazily as it used to grow.
1458  Other / Meta / Re: how to know how many members have badges? on: November 17, 2023, 09:21:26 PM
I missed the most important member of the forum: @satoshi,
I think he needs an unique badge then any other profile, like the shiny coins are different.

That's the most important thing you have missed but no problem now you added Satoshi into the list and now the list is almost complete. By the way, this is a very good thread for the ones who want to know about the members with unique badges and titles.
Oh well.  I don't recognize the usernames of many of the members whose avatars are shown on the first page of this thread, and I'll bet a lot of them are OGs who took their bitcoin wealth and are now sipping on some kind of drink with an umbrella sticking out of it whilst basking in the warm sun on a private island.

Yep, that's one hell of an assumption but I like to assume big when I think about the early members of the forum.   Cheesy
Yeah, I think your assumption is to the point and I also think that most of the members on the first page of the thread are the OGs who are truly happy with the wealth that they have acquired because of Bitcoin and surely they might be having very enjoyable life in places where they can fulfill their desires and enjoy their life.

But, I also think that some of them might have spent their complete wealth on material pleasures and now they might be struggling once again. As humans when we see a lot of wealth for first time we waste most of it in unnecessary things and unfortunately we can't have that wealth again in our life.

1459  Other / Meta / Re: Tag a user to update their broken image links on: November 17, 2023, 09:08:08 PM
It's a great thread which can be very helpful for the all members of the forum and especially for the OP's who have created their posts and added that imgur embedded images which doesn't work anymore.

I have been thinking about this problem for sometime and I believe it needs to be tackled down. A great initiative by @Pmalek and I must tag and mention @Hhampuz so he can fix the broken images in his threads. Most of the old threads of @Hhampuz has broken images which need to be fixed and I believe after seeing this post he'll fix his threads.
1460  Other / Meta / Re: Should Merit-Sources use feelings when giving out Merit? on: November 16, 2023, 12:55:14 PM
I do not believe that. When I learn something new from someone, my instinct is to do something good for them, If I have merits I will give them if they helped me.
this is a forum we can be disappointed by someone but cannot become an enemy of them.

How do you know? You've just signed up last month and never send any merit.

Naturally, I can't send merit to the member I ignore, but as part of my duty here, I have ignored only a few extremely annoying people so far. If a message is of good quality, I send merit regardless of who wrote it. Just because I appreciate it doesn't mean that I agree with the content of that message. Merit has no such meaning of approval. Some people use it as like button but this isn't the right way to use merit.

Well, that's a quite good answer because a merit source should merit the posts that deserve to get merits and he/she should not care about the members who made those posts. Sometimes it's always good to merit the posts of the members who are contributing a lot to the forum because that way they get encouraged and they try their best to contribute even more good stuff to the forum.

A merit source should try his/her best to add only a few annoying members in his/her ignore list because merit distribution starts from the merit sources and if they continue to add as many people in their ignore list as they like then that would not be a good thing for the ones who may deserve to get some merits.

I personally don't add anyone into my ignore list because I believe that if we can avoid someone then we don't really need to add that person into the ignore list, however some people really don't want to see the posts of some particular users and that's the reason they add those users into their ignore list. It's a good practice to send merit to the posts that deserve the merits even if you don't agree with the content because if those posts deserve to get merits then it's good to send those some merits.
