14401  Other / Archival / Re: Is this the end for Altcoins? on: May 19, 2018, 04:11:45 AM
All Altcoins are in red. What causes this dump and does this mean that it's over for certain amount of Altcoins?

We are talking about more then -10% for a lot of coins: Charts

The last time I checked, the altcoins (including Bitcoin forks such as Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin Gold) contributed for 62.5% of all the crypto market capitalization. So you can't really say that alts are going to die, just based on a few temporary dips.
14402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Campaign is so Tiring so as Merit on: May 19, 2018, 04:08:44 AM
At first, I am so eager to join most of the Bounty Campaigns, I even ignored Airdrops. But lately, I feel like it's so tiring. Some campaign don't even update the sheet and not even paying us tokens. So you feel like not interested anymore. All those efforts are worthless. Additionally with this Merit system, It felt so useless. My activities and posts are way more than qualified but still merit is nowhere to be found. I tried to create replies, and posts nicely and formally like "Jose Rizal" or even "Nicholas Sparks" but still no chance, it makes me anxious. I think this is the punishment for the late bloomer in cryptocurrency. Lol

Then get the hell out of here. Simple solution.

It doesn't work like that. This is a mutually beneficial forum. Bitcointalk benefits from a large number of users and the users need Bitcointalk to gain knowledge about the crypto and to earn crypto-rewards. The best solution is to guide the noobs, so their stay is comfortable here.
14403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think is the next Ethereum? on: May 19, 2018, 04:06:44 AM
The next Ethereum is going to be a platform which is unique in its technology and much more advanced than the current bunch of coins. And that's why I think that Cardano is going to be the next Ethereum. The technology is quite unique and it uses the advanced Haskell algorithm.
14404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty is dead :( on: May 19, 2018, 04:03:05 AM
Guys hello to all, maybe somewhere that already created such a thread, but I'll try to ask again Smiley Recently, I increasingly see that people get quite ridiculous amounts for participating in the bounty, for example, when compared with what was 5 months old back, the amounts are absolutely ridiculous. Do you think this is a temporary phenomenon? Or is the bounty dying? Thanks to everyone, I really want to hear the opinion of people of the rank of Hero and Legendary.

Help us in the fight against bots and scammers!

The bounty section is dying, unfortunately. If no action is taken, then by the end of this year it will die down completely. We need to have solid and strict regulations to deal with cheating. But this forum is having millions of users and it is impossible to take any decision which makes everyone happy.
14405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty and too many participants on: May 19, 2018, 03:58:52 AM
Hello community!
What do you think about popularity of the bounty campaigns? I see many new participants joining bounty campaigns, especially Twitter and Facebook. With more and more new participants, we will earn less and less rewards, also many of potential buyers would rather join bounty campaign than invest to ICO - again less rewards for bounty participants.
I hope that we will see some regulations here and bounty campaigns be more strict in rules and they will choose only the best participants.
So, what is your opinion, guys?

Regulations are needed on the bounty participants, as well as on the ICOs. I agree that the quality of the participants have dropped over the past few months. But the same is true for the ICOs as well. A lot many of the bounty campaigns are not paying its participants. After 2-3 months of time and effort, we get a message like this: "The ICO has failed and therefore we have decided not to distribute the bounty". Seriously? WTF?
14406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cardano on: May 19, 2018, 03:56:05 AM
What do you think about $ADA,
I see total supply this coin is = 24 billion, and so hard to make this coin grow, this coin very crazy

The maximum supply is capped at 45 billion coins and close to 26 billion coins are already in circulation. So in future, there is potential for significant growth. But we don't have any information on the coin-holding pattern. That can be a disadvantage.

If you want merit points, then you need to post more in the "Bitcoin Discussion" sub-forum. The chances are more there. And you needs to be patient. I have more than 10,000 posts to my name, and till now I have earned only 11 merit points. Even then, I am not complaining about it.
14408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still use MEW? on: May 19, 2018, 03:52:03 AM
I have seen numerous threads here warning against the use of MEW. But I still use MEW, since I find it as the most secure and simple wallet which is freely available to store your ERC20 tokens and Ethereum coins.
14409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What coins do you like besides Ethereum? on: May 19, 2018, 03:46:22 AM
Apart from Ethereum, Cardano (ADA) is one of the coins that can be considered for investment. A few other alts with good potential include Bitcoin Cash, NEM, NEO, Stellar Lumens, Litecoin and Monero.
14410  Other / Off-topic / Re: punishment for rapists on: May 18, 2018, 06:19:55 PM
Death penalty is the right punishment for all rapist.

Here in India, the parliamentarians recently introduced a law that would make death sentence mandatory for rape of children below 12 years of age. But the human rights groups and the Communist party is rising so much hue and cry over it.
14411  Other / Politics & Society / Re: World population is very small. on: May 18, 2018, 06:17:57 PM
Nope, this planet is already overpopulated, and its expected to reach 11 bil till 2100. Thats why there are so many wars currently, the hidden agenda is depopulation.

The world population is rising at a rate of 100 million per year and the wars are not even eliminating 1% of this number. So you can't really say that it is some hidden agenda to reduce the world population.
14412  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why Islam kill Christians? on: May 18, 2018, 06:13:27 PM
I never believe that Muslims kill Christians. They believe that we all are brothers.we all live together in friends, we respect each other, and we appreciate whatever religion they believe in .

No one asked you to believe. It doesn't matter if you don't believe what is happening around the world. You can be politically correct and dish out "morally upright" statements. But it is not going to achieve anything.
14413  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin ATMs on: May 18, 2018, 06:09:23 PM
How do botcoin ATMs work?

Bitcoin ATMs are similar to crypto-exchanges. They convert your fiat currency to Bitcoin (or vice-versa). The only difference is that the exchanges deal with money in the digital form, while in the ATMs it is in the physical form.
14414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Really? Next Bitcoin is Litecoin on: May 18, 2018, 06:05:30 PM
I have seen a lot of rumors out there they are saying next bitcoin is a Litecoin it possible?

The first time I heard this was long back in 2012. Decided to invest in LTC after hearing this rumor. In the end, it turned out well for me. I got around 10x profit from my Litecoin investment. But now, I feel that LTC is a thing of the past. It is unable to compete with the newer altcoins.
14415  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin BANNED in bolivia on: May 18, 2018, 06:04:01 PM
Doesn't surprises me much. Bolivia is another shitty socialist country, like Venezuela. They have till now avoided a Venezuela-style meltdown thanks to the abundant mineral (especially Silver and Copper) and gas resources.
14416  Economy / Speculation / Re: Chinese Investor bought 10,000 bitcoin during the dip! on: May 18, 2018, 06:02:29 PM
Still not as lucky as the Winklewii. They had purchased their 100,000 coins for around 10 million USD in 2013. A few months back, the total value of that investment was $1.5 billion, which represents a 150x rise.
14417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of DogeCoin on: May 18, 2018, 05:31:26 PM
Dogecoin is a stable coin, this is its plus. In addition, many use it to transfer funds from the stock exchange to the stock exchange. Therefore, it will always be in demand.

It has managed to survive over the years, unlike some of the other altcoins. That is a big plus. Another advantage is that despite its smaller market cap, DOGE do have a small but vocal group of supporters.
14418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you actually understand Ethereum? on: May 18, 2018, 05:30:04 PM
Not really. It is much more complex, at least when compared to Bitcoin and Litecoin. I know the basics about Ethereum. That's all. Gaining in depth knowledge of that currency is a tough task.
14419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to put the tokens on the exchange? on: May 18, 2018, 05:28:51 PM
I use exchanges only to sell the tokens. I never store them in the exchanges, as in many cases the exchange suddenly stops supporting that particular token. But then, what is the need to store them in the exchanges, when we have MEW?
14420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When do you think Eth will break $2,000? on: May 18, 2018, 05:25:46 PM
The Ether prices are closely linked to that of Bitcoin. And since Bitcoin isn't looking very strong now, I don't think that Ethereum will be able to breach the $2K level either in 2018 or 2019. And after that, there is a real chance that ETH may get replaced by some other altcoin.
