14461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Giveaway threads are not allowed on: September 05, 2017, 05:33:45 AM
What do you think are incentive to post insubstantial posts? People can already spam.
We need to give a specific definition of this word.
If you have seen before there are signature campaign rules about "Posting in ANN thread" and it is a requirement. Mostly 1 post is required but we've seen that every campaign followed the rules as it was strictly implemented by moderators especially by the administrator. And that is the meaning of incentivizing posts.
14462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptos to buy now ? on: September 05, 2017, 03:01:42 AM
Most of the coins are  good to buy but better to buy Eth. I've got some other choice like tenX, Monetha, RISE these are a good choice. But the decision will still go to the you guys. We do have own preferred alt coins and it looks like we do have similarity.
14463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: been waiting 86 days now, Poloniex can you check my ticket on: September 05, 2017, 12:19:28 AM
been waiting 86 days now, Poloniex can you check my ticket #215627,
For almost 3 months thats something crazy and I've some people here too complaining about problems that they are going through with Polo. Somethings going wrong there, try to create another ticket maybe your ticket from the pasts was buried by other new tickets regarding their concerns.
14464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where to store ICO tokens? on: September 04, 2017, 11:10:24 PM
Very popular if its a Eth based token then the best way to keep is through myetherwallet. But much better if the devs of that token does have their own supported wallet. That's more trustworthy but MEW is the most popular and I wont store it to any exchange unless I will sell.
14465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Begginer here. Need a bit of help on: September 04, 2017, 09:44:21 PM
Hello!

I am a bit of noob. And I just started early Tongue. I already made exchange account on Kraken, bought some small ammount of BTC coins and ETH coins. Now where to put them? My friend speaks of ICOs but there is just too much of them. So I thought I'd start on my own a bit. Which one is good ICO for beginner?

Thanks..!  Cheesy Grin
You can depend on those ICO's but dont just invest and join without learning what are their plans for their coin/token. If I were you, I'll treat as my gold and just hold it and lock and will do nothing about it. It's a goos long tern investment or you can do it with btc only or Eth only and invest the other part to altcoins, you can depend with coinmarketcap.com for your preference.
14466  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin: Best investment in 2017? on: September 04, 2017, 09:33:18 PM
in 2017 this is a good investment I think in bitcoin and ETH, because the rise and decline in prices is relatively stable and bitcoin and eth users also more and more, so I am confident to invest in bitcoin and ETH
I won't disagree, bitcoin is the best investment for this year. No comparison with gold and other investments as I'm very confident with this. I'm only going to hold when the price is sliding on the downhill and will just wait again until the price gets higher again.
14467  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time to Face Reality in 2017 ... on: September 04, 2017, 09:17:56 PM
People here answering the thread itself the wrong way. Guys have you ever read the 1st and 2nd post of the thread? Try to read it backwards and you'll understand whats good about facing the reality on 2017.
I think many people missunderstood the point of this post, hah. Atleast they have the right intentions and we'll here for the incoming and inevitable changes about to happen Wink
Its because they arent reading the whole thing. But if they'll read it most of them will be posting their good feeling.
14468  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Which is the best way to promote products or links? on: September 04, 2017, 08:38:15 PM
Does anyone know what the rules are across the various social platforms for posting referral links?
I've read various articles on this but it's difficult to get a straight answer.
Here in forum posting of referral link is not allowed. And in most of the social medias its fine to post referral links but I guess its not allowed by sending it thru PM. What website are you trying to use? Just go to their TOS and FAQ, for that will answer all of your questions or email their support.
14469  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Increasing Very Fast! on: September 04, 2017, 08:31:25 PM
Opposite reaction, so after the massive and quick pump we are now in a correction. I believe that this is just a correction and as majority of the alt coins are in to bloody status today. Don't worry about it, bitcoin is becoming ready and fueling for another ATH, the same when its trying to enter $3k.
14470  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Become A Bitcoin Expert on: September 04, 2017, 05:06:55 AM
Anyone who understands the basic technology behind Bitcoin, such as block reward, hash rate, transaction fee, block size limit.etc can be called as an expert. It is quite simple, but the vast majority of the people think that Bitcoin is too complex. It is our fault as well. We must take out awareness campaigns.

An expert doesn't mean that you have to be broad in terms of bitcoin. You can stay on where you want to lean with your interest  but these things that sithara had mentioned are the basic things that you need to know if you want to be a bitcoin expert. And if you are an expert in bitcoin already then you may want to upgrade and become a blockchain technology expert.
14471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monetha ICO $30 million Sold out in few minutes on: September 04, 2017, 04:55:42 AM
Monetha ICO 30 million Sold in few minutes. Any one manage to get in with the bonus. Luckily I manage to get some tokens but no bonus.

Wow that's quick and big amount for a new ICO. It seems that Monetha does have attracted and seen by too many people. It is an indicator that people love your road map / white paper. I miss another good project and if this is a real statistics good luck to the developers and everyone that's associated with them, it's a success for you guys.
14472  Economy / Exchanges / Re: cheapest place to buy bitcoin? on: September 04, 2017, 04:44:22 AM
I would like to start selling bitcoin any suggestions where to buy I just bought some on coin base $100 Canadian and transferred it to my paxful wallet, And ended up only with $88 worth is there any other places but I won't lose $12 for every hundred?

Local bitcoins is the best place to buy cheaper bitcoins but if you've got a good deal maybe you can get someone here in forum that's willing to sell his coins for cheaper rates.

I do not want to mislead you, but in South Korea I heard that Bitcoin prices are cheap, first you need to contact someone, it is not an easy task. There's a site called Localbitcoins.com, where you can check.

I didn't knew about this thing but it's like the same with LBC.
14473  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the economy situation in your country that bad? on: September 04, 2017, 04:27:51 AM
In the name of development, our government has made various plans and has implemented it over the common public. Now this has termed to be a way for the corporates and other certain institutions to grow actively. Compared to the past years the growth has moved from 6.1 to 5.7

Good for your government, here in my country in terms of development. Politicians doesn't seem to see our country in a good progress in terms of technology and infrastructure. Why I would say it so? In every movement of the good local government they are blocking every good project and I don't understand on how they want the country to be a progressive one if they don't want this to happen.

Politicians are supposed to be the leaders in leading a country to have progress but sadly, there are some who just use their position for their own benefit not thinking of why people put them in power. They are just showing their good side when they are facing the majority but when they are not seen, they are doing ways to do things unthinkable just for them to maintain their status and power. I think this is one of the reasons why the economy is very slow in progressing cause instead of helping each other, they are bringing each other down to accumulate power.

It's not just happening in our country but in every society and other countries for sure this kind of crazy act is happening. Those people that are in power are taking advantage while they are there so that when they stepped down they have a good life that came from an unclean service to the people.
14474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What happened? on: September 04, 2017, 03:54:21 AM
Newbie in crypto, invested for fun in some interesting projects, I saw most of notable coin ( and BTC too) are falling down.
Someone can explain?

First, don't just invest in anything just to have fun. I won't advise that someone because in the end if you are just investing for fun, you won't focus for realistic goals. Well this is another bloody week for the whole crypto currency market. And the only thing is because everyone tries to sell out and it's time to take some profit so we are seeing every coin's price to get down.
14475  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people left their full-time employment to go into Bitcoin? on: September 04, 2017, 03:44:36 AM
It depends on their situation, if they've got in a good situation why not let's just be happy for those people that decided to be full time in bitcoin and totally left their regular job. They are trying to be wise and thinks that they'll grow with crypto currency. But for me, there's no need to leave your job as long as you are earning good in your regular job and you are working there for years why you have to leave it?
14476  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I invest (safely) in Bitcoin for the long term? on: September 04, 2017, 03:26:30 AM
Since you are focused with BTC/USD tradind you will be solely using a web wallet. Coinbase will be the best choice for you, though this type of trading is risky and letting your coins sleep at them, put some of youe bitcoins on an electrum wallet for long term holding, it is secured.

Coinbase has major security issues. Trading is difficult enough. Hackers stealing your Bitcoins on a daily basis is too much for me.

I have just finished reading the article in Fortune.com (Hacking Coinbase: The Great Bitcoin Bank Robbery)
http://fortune.com/2017/08/22/bitcoin-coinbase-hack/
Coinbase was successfully hacked 30 times in a month. That is an average of once a day.  BTC-e is even worse.
And because Bitcoin is hard to trace, it means that the lost money won't be able to be recovered.

Oh that happened recently at coinbase? I'm sorry I wasn't updated with coinbase since I'm into major bitcoin-alt coins trading. I thought that coinbase is one of the most secured exchange after all and the rumors are right that they can penetrated easily. Well I did warned that it's risky to let your coins sleep there but if you will just going to pass your coins through I guess there's no problem.

14479  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is this for real? I could be a millionaire? on: September 03, 2017, 11:16:04 PM
Well you could be a billionaire if you still have bitcoins that you had before. If you got that 400 bitcoin then you are so filthy rich right now. This is what makes me feel envious of the people who already are aware of bitcoin back then, but anyways cheers to you!
I haven't that type of fortune in my life before. And OP surely will become an instant rich man after getting those coins back. You are not the only one that feels envy with his situation but everyone here. Though its good to see these type of people that they arent aware of bitcoin and did commit a mistake. And the twist here, he's back to zero for losing those coins because he invested it to scam hyip.
14480  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: A bad day !!! on: September 03, 2017, 11:04:49 PM
What is happening today?

You are not used to this thing,no? Did you just started a couple of days? We've been on this situation for a lot of times and expect it that is going to happen again but we will not stay on this bad day. After a bad day expect the all gree day, yes thats it. This makes the market balance, like this world good-bad.
