I have 3 vega 56 to sell

2 blower style msi

1 two fan style sapphire pulse.

blower style msi air boost go for about 200 on ebay.

i would want less then two hundred each

the sapphire is at 218 on ebay.

i would want less then two hundred

the three on ebay would be about 618.

i would go under that.

maybe 500 for the 3. including the shopping 🛍

let me know what works for you.
14482  Other / Meta / Re: banned... Bummer... Could somebody give a shout out to my businesspartners? on: March 24, 2020, 06:55:22 PM
I decided to end these 7-day bans early. Altcoin giveaways involving incentivized posting are not allowed anywhere on the forum, but certain incentivized-posting games (not altcoin giveaways) are allowed in Games & Rounds. The topic was incorrectly posted in Games & Rounds, possibly causing some understandable confusion among participants.

Good for you. I like the choice made by you so much I tossed a few merits at you.  {like you need them  Grin}

14485  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain Introduces the S19 and S19 Pro on: March 24, 2020, 02:49:11 PM
i will be mining with current gear.
i will be turning off all s9 gear in may.
i simply think this gear ⚙️ is worth about 1500 not 2900. and at 1500 I would only buy it if it had multiple speeds not just one.

tomorrow the diff will adjust around 14% in miners favor.

my 2ph becomes 2.28 ph without spending  a time.

I will wait this shit out.
14486  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: MicroBT announced M30s on: March 24, 2020, 02:15:42 PM
Okay  I think this link is bullshit

hxxps://microbtmining.com/product/microbt-whatsminer-m30s/

they offer the m30s at only 1150 with 1 week delivery time.

don't buy from them.

https://whois.net/

look up has them at only  around since last year.

microbt.com is around since 2016

https://www.microbt.com/   they are the actual builder of the gear.

If the list is full then I guess we roll Smiley next block in the yogg's list is 622800
Good luck everyone and big thanks to the OP.
Those raffles are addictive Smiley

This was a bit harder to fill.

I guess Corona-v  kept some people out of the loop.

My thanks to op .

Good luck to all.

we are on block 622783  so about 2-4 hours for 622800 to show up.

14489  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: S9K fan lost on: March 24, 2020, 04:36:20 AM
If he got a real delta ball bearing fan it is better.

also san ace denki  ball bearing is very good.

some times I got delta’s on s9 miners.

i once got a case of san ace or sanyo fans they were really good.

but a lot of s9 gear has shit generic or counterfeit fans.

@suchmoon, huh, am enjoying my times, i already teached my 4 years old son how to ride a bike  Kiss

See that's great and I meant it for real, without my usual cynical snark.

We should all get banned for 7 days every month.

Yeah You know I wonder  when was the last day I missed making  a post.

As for the last day I missed reading the forum that  was in 2012.

Just went back to feb 20 2020  made a post every day. I would love a faster way to check that out.

I wonder if there is a way to check this  beside the slow way of looking at all my posts.
14491  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: What is escrow and how does it work? on: March 24, 2020, 03:15:14 AM
those that provide the escrow services are those individuals that have been here for quite some time, who have been involved in deals/trades/sales and have always shown themselves to be trustworthy.

I am one of the newer individuals offering escrow services and I also have 100% positive ratings (as do the other escrow providers) I hope to escrow more dealings and increase that trust as well.

The fee paid for escrow will ultimately be quite a bit cheaper than the fees you pay for eBay - that and most often the buyer pays the escrow fees.

Let me know if I can be of service if you do bring those over here to the forums to sell Smiley

Thanks.  So I see the fees are usually set by the person offering the escrow service and payable by the buyer.  True?

Also, is PayPal a standard method of payment?  I don't yet have an ample supply of Bitcoin and want to hold as much as I can for the rebound.

yes - the fees are set by the escrow service - and typical for the buyer to pay - unless seller offers to pay - has happened but more often to not it is the buyer that pays it.  My fee is 1%

and typically no, the payment is not with paypal. to do so would mean the escrow would have to pay 2.9% fee and then the seller would also pay a 2.9% fee - If i recall, 2.9% is the paypal fee for receiving funds.

as the seller, you would not be paying though - but if you were the buyer, you could always just use the USD in your paypal account to buy btc to make a purchase without touching what you are hodl'ing.

Makes perfect sense.  Thank you.

PayPal is already an escrowing business so you would not need an escrow to use PayPal. Do not believe anyone telling you to use an Escrow along with PayPal as that is pointless. You use an escrow with crypto/wire or you use PayPal.

Yeah paypal  really protects buyers for a long time.  So escrow people here such as myself don't get involved on a paypal deal. Last thing I need is to escrow a paypal deal and have to deal with paypal 175 days later.
14492  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: It is 2020 time for a new diff thread. on: March 24, 2020, 02:10:42 AM
Rules for the Acceleration Return Plan

The Acceleration Return Plan  ( https://www.bitdeer.com/en/pricing?id=1 ) uses more effective product design as well as lower fees to help users recover their mining investment rapidly and actively respond to changes in market trends.

Standard of Return
Within the term of this plan, the return standard is defined as the accumulated mining revenue from the mining pool minus the paid electricity fee, settled daily on UTC+0. If the calculation amount is less than the principal (computing power fee), it is defined as not return and the earnings distribution follows phase 1. If the calculation amount is equal or greater than the principal,  it is defined as has returned and the earnings distribution follows phase 2. Once phase 2 trigged, the earning distribution will follow phase 2.
Phase 1:
Users get all the net earnings during this period.
Phase 2:
Users and BitDeer calculate the earnings on a daily basis (UTC+0) and follow the fixed proportion to distribute the net earnings. Please check the proportion in the order summary page. The daily net earnings = daily mining revenue - daily electricity fee. If the calculation is negative, BitDeer will not involve in the earning distribution.

Tips for electricity fee payment
BitDeer offers a flexible payment mechanism for electricity fees so that users can select the best payment strategy in the context of price fluctuation. Even if the daily earnings are less than the electricity fee, users can also continue to mine the cryptocurrency in an improving market environment.

Description of mining outputs
The daily mining outputs are made variable by two factors including the mining difficulty and the operation and management level of mining equipment. The first factor is unpredictable and uncontrollable, but BitDeer can always deploy the most sophisticated dispatching technology and make the utmost effort to guarantee the operation of our data center at its best capacity.

Notice:
1. The daily mining output is calculated in USD at 0 AM, UTC+0.
2. Rules for exchange rate settlement:
The mining plan in the earning distribution rule involves the computing of users’ cumulative income in fiat currency. The weighted average result of the BTC-USDT price is sampled from seven leading exchanges (Bitstamp, Bittrex, Coinbase Pro, Gemini, Kraken, Itbit and LMAX Digital) at 0 AM, UTC+0.
3. BitDeer reserves the right of final interpretation.

Bold is all that matters  :  Translation = "we can say fuck you"

I looked at this carefully.  I can buy 100 th for 864 and 60 days of power for 231  total cost is 1095.

or pay  2900 + 200 + 700 = 3800 to own a 110 machine outright.

Now if they were not stone cold thieves and gave you the ability to buy 360 days of power at 1380 along with 864 for  grand total of  2244 I would argue that it could be worth while.

since you get 100th for 360 days with power cost included for 2244.  They will not guarantee this and cancel contract if btc tanks or soars.

I had a lucrative contract  with them  back in feb 2017  and when btc soared they cancelled the contract in Nov 2017.

There is a huge chance they will simply take the money you paid them and not mine at all just buy coins with the cash you give them and pay them back over time.

Simply cancel contract due to whatever reason they choose. if btc shifts in price.  a 360 day contract with 60 days power is 1095 in btc that is .166 btc right now. add .035  and you are at .201 btc for 120 days of the contract and power cost.

They simply hold that until may 20 and slowly pay   0.0008 a day back to you on may 20  I need to check this again tomorrow

120 days later that is 0.096  they cancel  contract for a bs reason  0.105 profit.  they never purchased any gear at all.

if you keep mining to day 240   you will need to give them a grand total of .271 btc  get paid 0.192  they make 0.079 btc

just by holding your btc.

This is flat price flat diff calculation.

lastly  if you go 360  contract is dead.  0.0008 x 360 = 0.288 paid back in btc   but you gave them  .341 btc

I figured the ˝ ing in as a starting point.

So if we stay flat you lose 0.053 btc at 6600 = 350 usd loss

It is not impossible to turn  a profit but it is very difficult.  you would need to pay in .166 btc now worth 1095

wait till may 20  to start getting coin.  BTC needs to whale like a mofo. unreal    20 k 30 k  then your power cost in btc drops  but diff will go up.

so I can't quite figure a case that works exactly in your favor.  but  just hold the .166 chances are more then 90%  it will do better then if you buy the contract.

I am a bit tired maybe I missed something but I do not think so.

14494  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: It is 2020 time for a new diff thread. on: March 23, 2020, 10:56:22 PM
Why not turn off a piece of gear that is losing a little right now.

But when the 15% diff change happens turn it on>

If a m10 is losing 25 cents a day right now

it would be making money  once the 15% jump happens.

I pm'd a few buddies  and they did sign in for it.

Soo if others pm a few buddies  we can fill it.   Grin

Pretty sure  you can send a pm for a free auction to a forum friend as it is not a sale.
14496  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: What is escrow and how does it work? on: March 23, 2020, 10:49:18 PM
Also, is PayPal a standard method of payment?  I don't yet have an ample supply of Bitcoin and want to hold as much as I can for the rebound.

No, but for that, you just need to talk with your chosen escrows and see if you can arrange a deal with them using Paypal as a medium transaction.

But I've never seen an escrow here accepting a deal like that. Seems it requires extra work.

But no harm trying. Just choose the reputable ones.

No paypal

 Usually I take most  coins

BTC
LTC
BCH
Doge
ETH   I don't care for ETH
ZEC
XMR

I charge 10 usd minimum  or 2%  on deals under 1000.

I charge 1.5%  on 1000 usd or higher.

I also charge tx fees  what ever they are no extra.

This why Doge is really good as fees are  small.

I don't care whos pays the escrow fee.  buyer or seller just need to agree  which one pays it.

I get all funds.

shipping
gear
tx fees.

Seller ships
buyer gets it
buyer checks it out
Buyer says it is good
I pay seller minus the fees.

When there are issues  bad gear, no gear etc  We talk it out and fix it.

escrow setup how I do it:

favors buyer until buyer says it is good.
favors seller once buyer says it is good.

Ie  after a 1 to 2 day inspection time if buyer says it works all problems are now the buyers.

I am good at doing them, but>

Escrow is a duty to support  the community.
Escrow is a hard job.

So many scammers  try to beat escrow agents in many ways.

One of the most annoying attacks  is ask  for escrow  then spend  a few days talking terms over .  Then do no deal.
I have had 30 like that in a week.  involves  100 or more answered pm's  all for zip nada.

14497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Dual Mining SHA256 - Whatsminer M21s 56T on: March 23, 2020, 10:32:12 PM
I can't find any information from Google that this miner could dual mine to different algo.
And it only supports SHA256 algo unlike other ASIC miners like Baikal miner support dual mining in two different algos.

So, Dual mining with m21s is impossible.

He can merge mine.

I mine at viabtc  my machines  earn both

BTC
NMC

Now NMC is  a pretty worthless coin.

Maybe he was asking this question. Said dual mining and meant merged

Pangolin has a m31s  to ship late may

https://pangolinminer.com/product/whatsminer-m31s-with-psu/

who cares it is 42 watts a th  a 76 th unit.  pulls 3300 watts.

they have a m30s  to ship ing five days for 2430

https://pangolinminer.com/product/whatsminer-m30s-with-psu/

claims it can do 38 watts a th

pulls 3268 watts does 86th

if they really shipped it in five days.  you could get maybe 50 days pre ˝ ing.
14500  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: S17 Pro PSU Issues? on: March 23, 2020, 09:42:50 PM
No details. All psu's should be the same.

But which  s17 pro model ?

the  50th
the  53th
the  56th

Which settings  ?

low
normal
turbo

Which firmware?

oem
aftermarket

What power voltage are you supplying  ?

210
220
230
240

If you have after market firmware  and are cranked to 65th using 210 volts I am not surprised.

If you run normal speed on a 53th machine using 235 volts  I would be surprised.

I have 15  53pros  that are perfect on turbo setting (about 57th) using a steady 226-232 volts.

So I guess there can be a lot of variance in what your gear is doing.
