14521  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you actually use Bitcoin? on: July 10, 2018, 11:43:17 AM
I personally use bitcoin as much as possible. Mostly through online services like on my servers and such. Unfortunately the merchant adoption in my country is very low. Though hopefully that's going to change as the days go by.

I cannot judge anyone for this, but let's be honest - it won't bring you any money if you just will buy it and wait.
You definitely can make money if you just buy and wait. Bitcoin was just $2500 on June last year. Even though bitcoin's price crashed pretty hard right now, that's still more than x2 profit. You can make money just by waiting, it just depends on what price you bought the coins.
14522  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie here! Are there any real uses to crypto? on: July 10, 2018, 03:42:35 AM
Blockchain projects has lots of potential ways to be used, each with their own functions and use-cases. The issue is just that currently only a small percentage of cryptocurrency projects are actually usable and being used. Most are just pure speculation(as of now, at least).

Are they worth investing in? Do your research and decide for yourself. I myself think that investing in blockchain are definitely worth it, but it's definitely risky.
14523  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Converting 1 BTC to 100 BTC on: July 10, 2018, 03:33:05 AM
Theoretically possible. But is it easy? Definitely not. If leveraging bitcoin 100x is easy then almost everyone would've done it. I personally would suggest using other methods to increase your bankroll(e.g. daytrading/investing) as it's far less riskier even though investing in to cryptocurrencies are risky to star with, but hey. It's your money. You do you. Just make sure to educate yourself first before doing big moves.
14524  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to hit $25k by the end of 2018 on: July 10, 2018, 02:38:26 AM
I mean, the volatility is so high(as expected) that pretty much almost anything is possible. It can be $10k, $20k, $50k, or $5k and I wouldn't be surprised if the EOY price of bitcoin is one of the prices I've listed. Time will tell. People shouldn't be spending so much time focusing on the price anyway.
14525  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Last call for those who will invest in low price for bitcoin. on: July 09, 2018, 05:19:33 PM
As we all know that to make optimal profit here in cryptocurrency specifically in investing bitcoin is to buy low price for bitcoin and sell in higher price.

is to buy low price for bitcoin and sell in higher price. use the bitcoins for your daily and or online transactions instead of selling because bitcoin was made to be used as a currency in the first place.  Wink
14526  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [ASK] 100 Merit On Some Member on: July 09, 2018, 04:38:34 PM
These merits were given when the merit system was first implemented. Users with member rank and above received merits based on their rank.
Ah now i got it.
Sadly my previous account was banned for no reason Sad
It has some merit on it. and was OLD account since Jan 2015 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=409485

10 merits is nothing. You can easily earn that by simply posting and replying helpful information. Honestly, your content doesn't even need to be great. It just needs to be helpful enough. Also knowing that most members with higher ranks tend to be more generous to lower-ranks that are helpful.
14527  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin wallet on: July 09, 2018, 04:19:43 PM
You obviously need to do research. Here are are some stuff to start with:

Request a mod/admin for this thread to be moved to the Service Announcements section instead. Definitely doesn't belong to the Beginners section.
14529  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Has the Crypto currency market stabilized? on: July 09, 2018, 11:31:38 AM
Is this true?

No one knows for sure. Prices have only been quite "stagnant" at prices from $6000-$9000 and the occasional $10k since February 2018 which is only more or less 5 months. Prices has been stagnant a lot longer in the past, so I won't really call the current prices stagnant for now. Time will tell.
14530  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Future...? on: July 09, 2018, 11:15:41 AM
Being volatile is simply caused due to bitcoin(and other cryptocurrencies) being very very new, and due to only a small percentage of people owning it. Hence, the prices are easily manipulated and or affected by just someone making a big buy/sell offer. Hopefully though, that the volatility will be less and less as we go in to the future as hopefully more people will own it, and also as the mining reward significantly decreases multiple times as the years go by.
14531  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Selling Account on: July 08, 2018, 11:24:11 AM
why they put redtrust on my account. i dont know what i did wrong?

While being legal, selling/buying of bitcointalk accounts is heavily frowned upon here on bitcointalk, especially for campaign managers. Most campaigns don't accept accounts that have been bought.
14532  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do we start transactions? on: July 08, 2018, 09:42:08 AM
So kindly suggest that how could I do that ? How could I invite others on my blockchain so I can start dealing in it?
What do you mean by invite other people to your blockchain?
If you want to start mining, you must have a good hardware (ex.ASIC or etc), and download mining software and start it. This section is discussed about mining so you may try to read it https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=14.0

Seriously, i don't get it, what do you mean by invite others to your blockchain? I never heard something like that before, did you just read something on facebook or other site like "Mining to your blockchain account" or something?

sory  I meant how do I recieve rewards ? whats the procedure?

Do I actually need to repeat what I said? For the third time? I already provided you a link with the required information for your plans.
14533  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do we start transactions? on: July 08, 2018, 08:43:13 AM
Is that necessary to fund my account first inorder to work on it? if not then how could we invite others on my blockchain?

Mining using hardware is the way to go. You're only going to waste money using "cloud mining" services.

Is that necessary to fund my account first inorder to work on it? if not then how could we invite others on my blockchain?
You wallet doesn't need to have funds for you to receive rewards from mining. Like I said, take time to read first. As it definitely looks like you don't know what you're doing.
14534  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Hype Has Barely Even Begun on: July 08, 2018, 07:55:07 AM
Bitcoin was overhyped last December-January. Lots of people on some countries knew about bitcoin because of lots of news putting up headlines on how bitcoin reached $15k-$20k.

lets not confuse "knowing" about bitcoin which is basically hearing its name or reading about it in the news, with "adoption". it is true that many people have already heard about bitcoin, maybe 70% or more of the population of the world have heard the word "bitcoin" already but to really know it and adopt it is a different thing.

about less than 1% of the whole world have adopted bitcoin and a lot of them have been traders.
we are far away from the real mass adoption where bitcoin is used by a decent percentage of the world instead of <1% and is used as a currency.

True. The thing is, probably a big percentage of that 70% know bitcoin only as an investment. Not as what it actually is and is for, unfortunately. Couldn't blame them though, most of the news are about bitcoin's price. That's why we need less hype and more technology(more idiot-friendly wallets, etc).
14535  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do we start transactions? on: July 08, 2018, 07:44:16 AM
Electrum is the wallet, not the mining software.

I really don't suggest going in to making money immediately. Try learning the basics first, to prevent unnecessary problems in the future.

14536  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin large transaction volume or no volume after 20 years ? on: July 08, 2018, 07:40:20 AM
Completely depends on how adoption bitcoin will be. If adoption stays stagnant, then probably around the same transactions/day that we have right now. If bitcoin becomes well adopted and easy to use for the normal person, then definitely expect more txs.
14537  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Hype Has Barely Even Begun on: July 08, 2018, 07:38:04 AM
Bitcoin was overhyped last December-January. Lots of people on some countries knew about bitcoin because of lots of news putting up headlines on how bitcoin reached $15k-$20k. Will the same happen? Maybe, maybe not. But it's going to take real adoption for us to get that kind of hype again. The people who invested last December-January are now holding bitcoin that are worth less than half than it was when they bought them.
14538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC to fall after massive $30 million HACK heist in south korea on: July 07, 2018, 11:56:42 AM
Exchanges have always been the headlines in the past but now exchange hacks have been happening so frequently that it's pretty much normal news now. I doubt this would actually affect the price of bitcoin; if it would, it will definitely be minimal.
14539  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to make a portfolio? on: July 07, 2018, 06:44:31 AM
Topic: How to make a portfolio?

Well, you simply buy and invest in coins/tokens. That's pretty much it. Having a cryptocurrency investment portfolio is simply just having some coins/tokens and having a sort of list on how much you bought the certain coins/tokens and what value percentage do these certain coins/tokens take out of the whole portfolio.

14540  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's Way to $1,000,000 on: July 06, 2018, 05:38:03 PM
I mean. Constant almost yearly price rises? If we were ever going to $1m, I don't think it would take only a decade. It could take multiple lifetimes in my opinion. It's definitely a very pessimistic approach just as it says on the video description: 'Pessimist's Guide to 2028'.

Is it possible? For sure. But it definitely won't be smooth sailing like implied in the video. There will be crashes. There will be bans. There will be hacks. These problems are inevitable. It's just a matter of 'when'.
