I think bar said he would apologize to what seemed like trolly comments
He has more invested in here than most so I think he has the right to say how he feels

But I ghink we would all agree that TH's silence is pointing to an awful conclusion to a long standing debate on this forum and
If Amir does not come on soon and regularly with a great explanation for his shit ass performance,  hes gonna find himself in court. Angry

Again.... please read up on Inc. and LLC. That's why its scary. Chances are it will be TH in court NOT Amir officially.  TH is its own legal entity (assuming they did it right) you will sue TH.  Amir and any money he made personally for example salary, would be extremely hard to touch.  And honestly i don't know of a case suing in us for BTC if you paid in it.  Would be interesting to see the court would do with a virtual money not legally recognized in US.

TH has bad dealings with paypal, credit card companies, customers, and at this point it seems the Better Business Bureau.  Them turning it into any kind of a success is going to be a uphill battle.  And it seems from silence they have given up.

Has anyone reached out to Joe Reynolds or Amir Khan outside of the normal contact channels that they continue to ignore?

I found an Aamir Khan on linkedin that looked like he matched. Still researching..

Ask Knight..... he was able to get a face to face and verify chip orders including the one that had magic clause.  (he will yell at me for that again.... but ahh)

Normal channels or not.... they are staying quiet for a reason.   They want you to say keep your money!!!

Expect them to talk again when they have a way to transfer orders to orders for their hosting server.   And if its a pre-order.... or reserve.... yep more time with money in their hands and nothing getting done.

I'm willing to bet they open up hosting to all.  They might give a discount to all the people they wont refund to go to hosting ..... hmmm a percent off something you never get is it truly a percent off?

Used dogie's method with slush and BAM!   Thanks for kickass guide.  Will wait to see if i get 10+ but hitting 9Ghz within minutes.
14545  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Comprehensive ASICMiner Blade Setup on: September 17, 2013, 04:49:36 PM
I have been trying to setup my blade (latest version) and I can only get 2000MHS to 38000MHS. I used a 2 molex to PCI-E 6 pin adapter for the power adapter with a 600W PSU (48A on 12V rail). I have each yellow wire going into the + inputs, and the doubled the black wires up for each - inputs. Please see my config below, as I do not see anything wrong with it. Also, there's no instructions for the new blade.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I also am experiencing low speeds.  Please let me know if you find a pool working better.  I am getting around same range of MHS.

I've always disagreed that Terrahash is a scam, I still disagree that they are. A poorly run business and a scam are two different things.

Bar you are a man of your word.

I think there is a fine line between poorly ran and scamming.  And they are on the line.   With their customer service, and missed promises.  Not to mention chances of anyone seeing full refund that paid with BTC or wire transfer (and no i don't consider a refund if they start to offer to move it to their new server game)

I am speaking in general, not about TH specifically. A private company can go out of business and have a new LLC protecting them self's for 1.5k-2k and prob some pay to a accounting firm.

If a LLC goes out for example and comes back as a different company, they can literaly buy the assets of the first company and start almost fresh.  They even get tax breaks if TH decided to use scummy accounting and write off equipment they use in a year instead of over multiple.

A bad LLC is its own legal entity.  Meaning once it closes sure there is some left over..... but legal action wont get you much chances are if done right by them.

Again I'm not saying Amir will do this, but with their poor service all around it scares me.  One day they are a company Terra Hash.  Week later come back as Super Hash, a hosting company and it would screw over anyone with orders with first company.  With it being a private company legally they don't have to share much about their inner workings including salary.

Again I am not a lawyer, or do i want to be one.  But i do recommend you seriously consider trying to get a refund if you have any means left.  If you don't, i feel for you.

Great guy!   Cant explain the amount of customer service you get.  I have 40 of my new ones hashing away Smiley next up setting up my blades and then hopefully in next day or two set up rest of usb miners once hubs are in Smiley

Again great customer service you wont regret order.  Have done multiple orders of different types of items.  Always treated me right.

notlist3d,
I might finally jump on these(getting impatiant waiting for my knc jupiters), did you buy 8 of these plus an anker 9 port hub plus an arctic breeze?
I don't see a 10 port anker, your advice is appreciated.

I happen to have some old anker (and offbrand anker 10's laying around)  using them work great.  The original's are really tough metal bricks almost.  I personally use every usb spot with a miner, and use a desk fan (overkill) but it makes it where i don't take up a usb spot with fan on multiple hubs.  Kinda of fun though to have a few rows of them.  Anker quality is top notch, but recently with all the hubs I have been more into the price per port on hub as my main factor.  Sadly the new Anker 9 went down a port and also changed one to charge so you get 8 true ports, and 1 fan at a cost per hub that is a little high.

The new hubs i ordered are MCM (if you google there is a 15 percent off promo code i believe on official site) cant vouch for it yet personally but its price per port is extremely cheap if you need multiple. They seem a little slow at shipping though at MCM.  SSB is so good he beat my hubs here lol Smiley.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=253749.0 has a really good comparison of hubs and how many people can get successfully running on each brand and a lot of testing.

If you do decide to order some are lots of fun to actually do some mining.  I have lost track of order number's with SSB but if you decide to try some out truly give him a shot.  Great communication, cheap prices, and awesome customer service.  He has went above and beyond what he has had to do on multiple occasions.

So I guess we should expect much of this $6 per G/hash deal?

If non-hashing prototype board falls in TH offices does anyone hear it?
Does working at TH mean you can telecommute to the office as nothing gets accomplished there or not?
Did you know TH really stands for TurdHash as .... you know .... never gets done.

...... back to normal in here i feel home.
14551  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: September 16, 2013, 04:22:42 AM
Hmmm.....  over a day of happiness in TH thread..... I'm thinking Amir should hire your son bar for pr.  He has done more good for them then the company has been able to do in months.

TH.... if you ever do make a board..... ship a prototype to this kid!
14552  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: September 15, 2013, 02:08:17 PM
Relax you bunch of frothing at the mouth trolls, you'll get my response soon Tongue

My second son was born yesterday so I've been a tad busy.

For now I'll say that I'm deeply disapointed in Terrahash at this point and they have definitely lost the respect I had for them. That being said I still hope they salvage their reputation and company from this mess... somehow.

Congrats bar!  I hope you will have the youngest bitcoin miner out there soon! +1 more more miner in the world  Grin

Really wish you would release name of what hub is in pictures.

knightlife, since you are kinda the spokeperson for TH (seems like only you have communication channel with them), can you help me ask are they going to ship my order on time? I think I'm the only active order they are working on and even that they decided not to communicate with me and I'm already being very nice Wink Thanks.

Hi hchc. I'm not their spokeperson (I know you weren't serious, but I want to make this clear). I just have a face to face relationship due to stopping by there on a couple of occasions. I'll ask about your order the next time I speak with Amir. Yesterday was the first time I have spoken with him since my visit to the office when I obtained proof of the chip orders. I think we may see movement on all of our orders in the coming week (2 at the latest).

You obtained proof of a chip order.... that later they were able to pull out of because of some magic clause you never told us about.  At that time you lost credibility on being a source of proof.

If you want to stand up for them take pictures of all their boards and components they claim to have.  I know i would love to see a pic of the 100 cases. Also if there is a claim of a k-16 working with low hw errors.... take a video of it.

How come you are one of the few who can seem to get a hold of Amir?   He seems to hide in a hole unless to try to stop refunds, or pre-announce a announcement anymore.   Or..... announce a working k-16 without a video.

I consider TH to be TurdHash.... as they never seem to produce insert word here.

Can we all agree that TerraHash / Amir has failed now?

Even Amir has admitted it at this point to try buying hardware from another company to host.

They don't trust their own hardware production on their hosting company.  And to switch from manufacturing to hosting shows they failed at attempt one.  The sad thing is trying to use the money they still have from people who didn't get refunds to try basically a new business.   And once they open up their "25 percent reservation fee" All this is to help them stay afloat.  I'm willing to be their 3 month refund idea is when they either have something or give up.

Are you stupid? They aren't switching to hosting because of their failures, they can make more money doing it.  How many people can drop 100k on a server miner?  But if one person buys one it's cheaper for the end user and makes a ton of money for the hoster.

If you start a hardware production business..... and don't produce then start a mining hosting service I consider the first business a failure.  If they survive good for them, it still does not mean then didn't fail at hardware production.

And you could always buy the hardware yourself at a smaller size.... you don't have to spend 100k.  Personally I like having hardware in hand.  But that is just me.

Would be great if you shipped to one of your COOP members in us.  Re-shipped from there, makes shipping much better.
14558  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: September 12, 2013, 10:11:49 PM
Thanks bar.  I didn't know what a k-64 was truly considered after it not being one pcb, and considering it a k-64.  Appreciate the clarification.
14559  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: September 12, 2013, 09:55:47 PM
This could be a stupid question.  Thought of it today, feel free to flame if i am missing something.

But they say they are working on a k-64.... but in reality they are working on linking 4 k-16.  If a k-64 is not one board and is using 4 k-16's why even offer a k-64?   As they said before K-16's would be able to link together.

Is a true k-64 not all on one pcb board?
14560  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: September 12, 2013, 05:43:37 PM
Any word from hchc on this yet ?

If by any word you mean even a video or proof showing single k-16's hashing with low hardware errors, let alone 4 working together....... then no.
