I am writing with an update regarding the trial of Wybo WEIRSMA which started yesterday (25th January) at Oxford Crown Court. I am delighted to be able to tell you that this morning (26th January) the second day of the trial WIERSMA has pleaded guilty to the theft of the IOTA cryptocurrency.
He will be sentenced by the Judge tomorrow (27th January).
I am sure you will be delighted by this news, which brings to an end nearly six years since the theft and the long and complex investigation. I cannot estimate what the Judge will consider is an appropriate sentence. The Judge will take into account that WIERSMA has been in custody (Prison) in Holland & the UK since 24th December 2020.
The next stage of the process will be working with you to return the seized cryptocurrency which is currently in the possession of the Police. As I have said many times we were only able to seize a small amount of cryptocurrency that was in the Bitfinex exchange. If I could ask you to bear with me for a few more days in order to be able deal with the final admin bits for the court case.

Genesis ist insolvent. Das Spiel geht weiter  Das der Kurs sich aktuell so beständig verhält, sehe ich als sehr positiv an. Wir wissen was nach der FTX Pleite passiert ist und jetzt? Mit Genesis ist die nächste Krypto Börse Insolvenz und der Markt bleibt „stabil“. Seit 2023 ist BTC knapp 40% gestiegen, wäre es ohne Genesis bei +40%… gut möglich. In Amerika hat die staatliche Schuldengrenze 31,4 Billionen Dollar erreicht und Yellen hat das Thema Zahlungsunfähig mal wieder auf dem Tisch, eine unendliche Geschichte? Den letzten positiven Staatshaushalt gab es vor +20 Jahren. Falls es passiert, soll laut der Rating-Agentur Moodys die Wirtschaft um 4 Prozent sinken und das Vermögen der Menschen in Amerika würde ebenso leiden, einen Verlust von ca. 15 Billionen Dollar. You are missing the point.
They did nothing wrong. The capital gain for a player is not a crime.
Juventus injected 1.5 billion in 10 years into the market and they were punished for a NOT crime of 60 million. I don't think it's fair if it's just the one case. But I don't know the whole story. They won't win or lose anything this season. I hope they win against FC Nantes on 16 and 23 February, so that they still have a chance to play international next year. They are currently play vs Atalanta Bergamo, standing 2-1 and that is very important for the motivation after the 15 points deduction. In the future, Juventus will have a little less money, but that might be made up for in two seasons. |

Even though the first and second positions are currently only five points apart, I'm still pretty sure Bayern Munich can overcome the situation and maintain their Bundesliga trophy. It is not only the last 5 years that are decisive, but also the current decisions. I think they act very well when it comes to transfers, they don't spend extreme amounts of money and there are always young players from their own youth coming into the first team. A good example is Jamal Musiala, who came from England in 2019 and now her ist a player in start lineup with a market value of 100 million euros. He is even Bayern's top scorer with 9 goals at the moment. |

Ja, vermutlich hat das entgegengewirkt. Es setzt auch ein eindeutiges Zeichen wo die Richtung hingehen soll.
