А любой POS проект, при прямых руках конечно, можно раздуть до любых размеров, на бычьем рынке. Солана тому пример. 99 процентов эмиссии собрали в нужных руках, потом раскачали хайп, пошел маркетинг, затем по чайной ложке шли токены на биржу, цену на пике до 250 разогнали и все, топ-проект готов.
Из последнего аптос также можно вспомнить, когда также разогнали до топа рынка практически сырой продукт и ничего, сработало.
С POW в этом плане сложнее, тут приходится расти более "органически", учитывая алгоритмы, халвинги и прочие.

Так что все вышеперечисленное вообще не показатель. Гораздо важнее для проекта (POS касается особенно) это маркетинг, рыночные и не очень манипуляции для разгона цены и привлечения внимания, хайп и листинг на биржах, даже без работающего продукта вполне покатит.
И наоборот без маркетинга, хорошего ММ и грамотного продвижения, даже хороший проект/продукт так и останется маргинальным, опять же привет комодо.

Деньги вложенные в майнинг в отличие от других денег в крипте, достаточно длинные, окупаемость там от пары месяцев до 3-5 лет (хотя все тру знают что майнинг невыгоден в принципе), а значит если они отобьются быстро (на бычке при росте цены), то купят еще больше асиков (что принесет в сектор еще больше денег), чтобы майнить и потом так спираль крутится вверх, пока медвежка не срежет, но купленное оборудование продолжит майнить и в отличие от трейдинга, если ушел под воду, то все равно потихоньку генерируешь выручку.
А учитывая рост хэшрейта лайта, видно что деньги туда пришли приличные, плюс один алгоритм с догами (привет Маск) дает преимущества, можно я так понимаю "скакать" с монеты на другую, а не продавать оборудование сразу.
Потом будет расти и эффективность устройств, а значит придется обновлять "парк" оборудования, чтобы получить нормальную доходность, потом идут мысли об альтернативной энергетике (60% майнинга битка вроде на ней) и так дальше по спирали с увеличением эффективности должна расти и капитализация проекта.

2) Кто занимается проектом? У догов и лайта есть более менее понятное комьюнити и какой-никакой смысл, у догов еще и Маск впридачу.

3) Есть вообще у проекта какие-то преимущества перед другими POW проектами? NFT, Defi и прочее?

Вообще если вместе с троном также придут к кардано, Солане и прочим, то вообще хорошо для лайта, классика и прочих POW.
Тем более тут где-то была статистика, что там капа POW проектов небольшая, исключая лайт, доги и классик вообще копеечная, а ведь по рискам с ними проще.
Мега иксов не будет, зато и сек яйца пальцы дверью не прищимит. Большую часть POS покосят, оставят пару с хорошей крышей типа XRP, где агентура уже давно и плотно сидит, а остальных под нож и за борт,  в преддверие цифрового бакса.

P\S: Вообще с учетом всех последних событий считаю что потенциал лайта крайне недооценен, для него мне кажется еще все впереди.
