boring mid-week games, but what is good from it is that both relegation strugglers lost their matches for Southampton this leaves them near the bottom, but for Palace this loss is a one in a series, and they turned from mid-table team into relegation fighter
almost half league is fighting, from 12th till 20th and this will be an interesting part, hopefully Everton will end-up 17th or above

~snip Alonso will be driving worry free and this greatly enhances his chances to get to top three, let's not forget that he was hit from behind from his team mate in the first race and he still did an awesome race,I hope here the track permit for better race starts and as such I am thinking to bet on him to be on the podium, his odds in pre race should be good enough.
odds on Alonso to finish on podium are @1.8, which is solid value, but one should bear in mind that he has 2 podiums in last nine years not saying that he is not going to end-up in top three, it is just that it is far from secure interesting enough is that Sainz is fifth in row to finish on podium, but second to finish into top6, so no expects from him to shine, but he is a reliable to finish race into top6, probably based on last season results, he always finish (and then he is into first 6), but rarely catch podium (4,5,6 are his places)

interesting round in Conference league, Lazio is playing with AZ after losing first home match 1:2, with two fast goals by AZ in second half seems as interesting pick for a Lazio away win, odds @2.45 does look as good value
Villareal is @1.45 at home, but not sure about Anderlecht form, so will skip it probably

By the way, surprisingly, Italian clubs are very successful this season, both in the Champions League and in the Europa League and the League of Conferences. Let's see how they perform in the next stage.
yeah, three teams in CL QF, but also Roma and Juventus in EL, and Lazio is close to be out, but still has chances against AZ in Conference league and Fiorentina should pass through great season for Calcio, after Italy missed WC and being laughed at during WC nevertheless, I think that Inter and Milan road is ended in QF, no matter draw, they simply cannot kick-out any of other six teams

~snip I expect a simple game with goals, but no surprises and no nerves.
+1 I also expect simple match, cannot see Liverpool making it to give Real a headache, but maybe this one will age bad not sure what to bet, if anything, but BTTS should be a sure thing, both teams have better offense than defense, and play in no particularly good form but in the pool, I will probably change my boring draw to Real win

~snip Both Milan teams in 1/4 final, we haven't saw such thing for very long time. It shows how bad they were in last decade. Porto were close to send game to extra time, but luck wasn't in their side. ~snip
Porto deserved to go to extra-time, they played better and tried till last second to score (even though it will make my 1:1 prediction poor, I was on Porto side in last 15 minutes, but they didn't score in the end) City gave all their effort to prove me wrong on Leipzig chances onward to tonight matches - Napoli should be good to go, but I really don't know what to think about Liverpool and Real, a lot of expectations, but IMO it will end up as boring draw, not seeing it as goalless, but I cannot imagine Liverpool to get to chance to pass-through

Showing off my bench (to make you feel better).

chasing DGW with Brighton and Brentford as main teams is a no-no (maybe this will not aged well) have put Free-Hit into this round, and probably took less points than just by playing my team, but Odegaard was dubbed ill, some other players from my team also injured and decided to polish it for this round with Brentford and Brighton players, but they were not even close to clean-sheets or scoring, maybe that will change on Wednesday, but Southampton is not conceiving easy, as United pointed out on Sunday

~snip Man City shouldn't have any problems to advance against Leipzig but I wouldn't rule out Leipzig for now. Leipzig is one of those teams capable of beating Man City at home, just needs a little bit of luck. Similar to Leipzig's earlier win 3-2 against Real Madrid last year in October, also Champions League.
I am close to think that Leipzig can go through in this duel, City is not playing great lately, and Leipzig has their chances but overall, City should use their home advantage to win and pass through more interesting is second match between Porto and Inter, Porto is good enough to win over Inter, especially taking into account their play against Spezia last round, odds for Inter to pass through are not this high without reason

~snip Alonso is still going to make top 3 I think, and that is how I answered my BSFL, top tip for casperBGD I don't mind to share because who knows maybe I'm lying ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) thanks for a tip honestly, not sure about Alonso, I am glad to see him on podium after a while, and Aston Martin is good one this one, even Stroll was good in Bahrain but will decide on that on a flip, odds suggest that Alonso should finish on podium, and my intuition says that he will not all depends on Ferrari, if they drive as expected, it is hard to expect that Alonso will finish above both of them, and Red Bull is a bit better of all

had a good run yesterday, 11 points in 3 matches, almost perfect thanks for a free bet, will try to use in a good manner ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Dortmund lost important points against Schalke, harsh week for them, after seeing end of their CL mission, now two points behind Bayern in the league Augsburg scored 3 goals against Bayern, and PSG didn't scored one in two matches, interesting fact, kudos to Augsburg

have to say taht I do not follow Calcio that close, but now seeing that CL fight is really interesting there four teams for three places, and just Lazio took point this round, Milan yet to play against Salernitana, as they are relegation fighters, not CL teams
but relegation fight is non-existent, Cremonese and Sampdoria are already out, and Verona is pretty close to join them Cagliari won after four draws in Serie B, but direct promotion is out of reach, play-off spot is best what they can do
|
|
|
~snip All 4 teams from leading group were huge favorites in their games, all 4 won, but probably only Ajax win can be considered as easy.
last three rounds, all top four teams are winning their matches, but next week we have two interesting duels first and better is between Feyenoord and Ajax, or Ajax and Feyenoord since it is played in Amsterdam, and that will be a great test for Feyenoord title ambitions, not losing there and they are making title statements but also AZ is playing away with Twente, and PSV can use next round to get into the fight with a win over Vitesse have to say that I didn't expected Feyenoord to connect few wins, and they won five matches since draw with PSV
|
|
|
Roma is continuing their show, Cremonese, win over Juventus and Sociedad, and now Sassuolo, nice time to loss a game although, Sassuolo knows how to score several against favorites, just remember Milan away match
Juventus left to play against Sampdoria, should be a home win, but not on my parlay

Seems like Liverpool will spread their goals very badly this season. They have very nice numbers in goals scored and goal difference categories but when you remove games against United and Bournemouth (the one that they won in first half of the season, not this one) you get stats for a team in the bottom half of the table.
saw it on Twittter - "God gave Liverpool seven goals in March 2023, and they simply decided to use it all against United" yeah, 16 goals in two matches and 31 in rest 24 matches, not that great distribution, but Liverpool is still in CL chance position but this season, relegation fight is getting to be really interesting, there is no Norwich or similar "secure" pick for relegation, it is almost impossible to pick three at this moment

You guys believe you are having it bad ? I have had Everton triple defense for the last 3 games and they didn't make double digit points cumulatively for those 3 games, and here they are when playing against my captain for the Gameweek, tell me I'm not meant to win without telling me I'm not meant to win.
same feeling, I took free-hit, because I didn't want to replace my Evertonians, and they delivered (at least I backed them with bet and in the pool, so this was a kind a hedge for me) and neighbors that I have put in were humiliated by Bournemouth, Salah missing a penalty on top, reaching for corner flag, instead of goal, put pressure in relegation fight as well but, at least McAllister scored, and denied Leeds a win, double good

Valencia got a big win over Osasuna, and because this is a big win, one can conclude what a team status is, but hopefully Baraja will put our ship into mid-table region with Gatusso or Voro, we would end up as draw last night, but now we are playing till last minute, and could even score second, but missed from a penalty spot
at least we are out from relegation zone
