No one know why, because the Creator(s) are not know.  However, a fix amount make scene,  because no one has control over the system, so who would make that decision to increase the coins.  Anyway Bitcoin is divisible to 8 places at the moment, so there is enough to go around

The depends of how much risk you want to take.  My opion is that Bitcoin are never going to go down.  Now there maybe a sell off and it will back off, then that would be a good time to buy.  However, we just has one of those, so it would be up to you to jump in.

I would not have made a mistake by assuming it was licensed under
the GPL if puddinpop had included in his license the MIT license as
was required.  Of course if he had included the MIT license all of
the restrictions he placed in his license would have been moot.

You are in violation of the GPL since you CUDA is linked to the bitcoin source.

I will build a CUDA enabled build of the bitcoin client and post the source code
here.
