1461  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is\will Bitcoin become unaffordable to use? on: November 23, 2023, 05:11:38 PM
No one in the right sense of mind would pay that much transaction fee and first of all there is no way that such a higher fee will even reflect as transaction fee.

But it's little disappointing to see the transaction fee getting higher due to congestion and this usually happens during bullrun and this itself kills essence on Bitcoin, what's the point of using it as P2P transfer medium if you are going to pay huge transaction fee. It's more like the rentals of hotels during vacation and festive season.
1462  Economy / Economics / Re: fiat vs commodity on: November 23, 2023, 03:31:39 PM
It's a hard mix of both , as value of fiat is depricating to a small extend as well as commodities increasing and increasing inflation is causing the price of commodities to increase but value of Fiat remains more or less same.

I will give you an example of myself. I have recently started construction of my house and I had got a quote from a building contractor 2 years ago and now the quotation which I got is 55% more than what was quoted  2 years earlier and the reason given was the price of petrol/gas has increased and thus the transportation cost of raw materials have increased. It's a chain process and we can neither beat inflation with our fiat nor cope up with it if we save in fiat hence Bitcoin or stock would be better option here.
1463  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Crypto exchange Binance punishes Russians for the war in Ukraine on: November 23, 2023, 01:37:32 PM
We ar contradicting the facts here why would Binance punish citizens of Russia for something done by the regime and I am sure they cannot be so insensible and if businesses and service providers are gonna pull out due to the crimes, invasion and war the there is a country which has invaded 1/4 of world and there would have been no business or service providers in that country.

This is not gonna have any impact of Russian regime and also I have had some Russian counterparts as my client they have their own version of everything, be it social media be it applications or exchanges.

You can never test capitalists as Russia is a huge market for them and they are not gonna let it go just like that.
1464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchanges being attacked in the verge of BTC ETF on: November 23, 2023, 11:55:24 AM
news being released at certain time definitely for reason moreover with the fact that we are nearing change of trend that is bullrun so expect some fuds to come even more but always believe that the price
will eventually rise regardless because we all know that holders are the one that wins, even big investor like grayscale is holding you know what i mean, market gonna go up whatever the scenario will be.

Hey there are two things we need to consider, obviously there will be fuds everytime even during the peak of bullrun but I suspect there are bigger plan of either inflicting fear in the mind of people as sudden purge cannot be coincidence. Regardless this shouldn't have any impact on Bitcoin or Crypto in general except exchange tokens, it's just a matter of time and few negotiations because out of court settlement is what SEC is currently expecting to fill it's coffer.

This shouldn't be impacting price and also the fear will be vanished as the time goes on. But, we need to learn why suddenly they are going behind exchanges? is it because they miserably failed in creating fear which they tried with ads from banks and ATM asking us not to deal with crypto at certain point.
1465  Economy / Economics / Re: You are the product. Corporations spying on us deeper than we thought? on: November 22, 2023, 08:39:24 PM
Yeah this is scary, I was talking to my wife about certain thing on consecutive days and then I see something related to that pops up on my Google Chrome, they even have voice detection I belive and we are being spied upon big time, right from our browsing history to shopping cart to the genre of videos we watch on YouTube until the places we visit.

We need to understand that if we are getting something for free, it mean we are the product and same game is played with us by big companies like Google, Amazon, YouTube, Meta.
1466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: investing a money on: November 22, 2023, 07:50:39 PM
Divide it between crypto and other assetts like gold, stocks, etc. When it comes to crypto don't experiment with Altcoins or any exchange tokens like BNB at the moment as situation is very volatile as crypto exchanges are being haunted by SEC. Just wait for a while as price of Bitcoin might go through an correction phase then invest 70% into Bitcoin and the rest between Altcoin, stocks and gold.

Note : Bitcoin would be long term investment, Altcoin can never be long time it would be a short term investment.
1467  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Largest crypto exchange CEO arrested! Anyone getting deja vu? on: November 22, 2023, 06:50:42 PM
I think we are missing out on something which has taken place between CZ and SEC, because I am not in shock because he has charged but rather for the fact he has accepted the crime and it's such a crime which will tarnish his image which he has created all these years. I feel there is some sort of deal which has not come to light, may be between CZ and SEC because we usually don't see any CEO accepting charges against them. Let's wait and see how the story unfolds and if this will have any impact on crypto prices? No it won't but rather on BNB but he stepped down from Binance hence it's saved as well.
1468  Economy / Economics / Re: No Correlation Between Academic Success and Financial Success on: November 22, 2023, 05:05:12 PM
This may be stand true for certain countries and but not everywhere and I would give you example of FAANG company (Facebook, Apple, Amazon, Netflix and Google) these are indeed top companies and there are many more like these and you will often find them recruiting candidates or interns from Tier 1 colleges as they already have set an assumption that only student from certain colleges or universities are talented this those who could barely afford education end up getting graduated as it has become basic requirement to land a job, and students from a normal colleges are recruited at the entry level wherein students from top tier colleges are hired for management role.

If the education is scam then it wouldn't be key requirement to get job.
1469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So we got new CEO of Binance on: November 22, 2023, 02:08:33 PM
A lot has happened in last couple of days and if you noticed on thing in common which is crypto exchanges being targeted left, right and center and there is one thing which draws correlation to all these hounding activities going on against these exchanges is application for spot ETF as SEC cannot be trusted and doing what they are best at which is deceiving people. Kraken is in soup once again, not sure which exchange will be the next target but it doesn't affect CZ as he still holds large swathes in Binance. We the common people should be more careful than ever and shouldn't fall for the trap.

Anyways CZ stepping down is best for Binance after being involved in such activities.
1470  Local / India / Re: Prefered crypto exchange in India? on: November 22, 2023, 01:15:34 PM
There was a time people would trade unlimited in CoinDCX, Coinswitch and WazirX but since government started taxing every single trade many of them have migrated to exchanges like Binance, Kucoin and gate.io and even the trading volume from India has reduced greatly because Indian based exchanges had food UI and features like instant conversion from any pair to INR which is something Binance is trying to implement but what about the user database ? Have they stopped trading all together or still using any hack or trick to trade in these taxable exchanges?

I do not know how Binanca operates as I do not use that exchange. What I am aware of is that there are a lot of International P2P exchanges, which do not require KYC and have a decent amount of merchants to convert your crypto to INR. For trading purposes, I still prefer using a DEX or a centralized exchange like MEX. For me, Indian exchanges are a waste as they do not have pairs that generate potential high earnings. Another reason is using them would attract a good amount of tax and TDS. While I am okay with paying the tax, the TDS is unbearable as 1% for every trade is not an acceptable amount for any trader.

As far as my understanding Binance doesn't share the data with income tax or any regulator in India but we have seen bank account getting freezed due to some discrepancy in P2P transaction as you don't know if you are exchanging your token for Fiat with a scammer or a trader. My friend's bank account got freezed by cyber crime department stating the sender was part of online scammer.

Yeah in echo your voice about taxing every trade as no one can bear it and it would be end of once theiving Indian crypto exchanges

1472  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Why haven't the earliest participants sold their Bitcoin, and some haven't even on: November 21, 2023, 09:16:29 PM
Those are the real long term hodlers who have a clear plan in place about when they would like to cash out because it's not easy to hodl Bitcoin for such a long term as a human being we would be tempted to sell of when it hits peak and starts to drop. Either they had even more Bitcoin and they would have segregated certain amount of Bitcoin which they would be hodling for long term and used some for current expenditure or any other needs.

Some would have purchased at really cheap price and would be hodling a portion of it so there are many reasons but most accurate would be that they are more smarter than is and more successful than us.

1473  Economy / Economics / Re: ~85% of money doesn't exist on: November 21, 2023, 08:01:17 PM
This is the exact reason what convinced me to get into Bitcoin and crypto a decade ago I remember the video shared by my friend to make me understand why Bitcoin came into existence and how our bank balances are nothing but a digital representation and if everyone wants to withdraw money then they will not have it at a go. Sadistic leaders and corrupt bankers are the one who are controlling our finance, increasing our hardship but still have no shame in passing judgement and negative opinion on Bitcoin.

Appearing this kinda post which most of us will not even be aware as people usually thinks FIAT is the safest savings but this post will clear their misconception.
1474  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some traps to avoid in bullrun. on: November 21, 2023, 06:59:41 PM
Very insightful post, especially the one "Invest in what you can afford to lose", this is the factor most of us forgets or ignore due to greed , I have also made this mistake in the past and also once we see market going upwards we don't care about stop loss and neither take profit because of FOMO on possible massive pump but it's usually ends in loss.

Some will say Bitcoin investment will be less risky but during bullrun that's not the case because previous it took almost 4 years to meet the breakeven for those who invested in December 2017. Bullrun can either be blessing or curse depending upon how we plan of investment and trade.
1475  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will SEC delay on Spot ETF approval do to Bitcoin's price?@ on: November 21, 2023, 05:10:22 PM
Well I am fairly sure it won’t be approved anytime in 2023. Maybe in January 2024. However it would be crazy if the SEC approved the etf tomorrow while yesterday they sued Binance and Kraken. It’s very difficult to read that Gary Gensler.

At first we assumed he was finally pro Bitcoin with his Satoshi tweet but a week later he is calling crypto a scam and suing exchanges left and right. Honestly it would be best if he was replaced by someone else.

Yeah we cannot expect SEC approval this year and though there are speculations that chances of spot ETF getting approved are higher but still we can never ever trust a banker when it comes to crypto as they will always be against crypto because of conflicting nature of operations between crypto and banks.

As many has mentioned we should be bothered even if this doesn't get approved because this is kust like cherry on toppings as it will have positive impact if get approved and very lesser or no impact if the outcome is negative.
1476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple (XRP) Price Speculation: Analysts Predict a Mega Rally for the Cryptocurr on: November 21, 2023, 03:52:42 PM
I have gone through the article which you have shared and I am not sure I am missing out on something or else you are referring to the speculation of $0.85 or $0.85 to $1.07 as massive? I have given up on this centralized token long ago and I don't think anyone who is for long time will invest into Ripple due to unlimited supply nature of this coin. Back in 2017/2018 there was a huge hype for this project and apart from the initial bullrun of 2017 we have not seen much movements in the price and even when it happens it's short-lived. I personally feel there are better project to invest than this.
1477  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as an overachiever on: November 21, 2023, 02:46:20 PM
Wrong comparison mate, you cannot just compare the value i think the overachiever status doesn't fit Bitcoin because we are still lagging in terms of adoption as it's been 14 years and how many supermarkets or convenience store accepts Bitcoin in your locality? we have to measure success in terms of adoption and I would like to give the example of Gold and Diamond, we all know that Diamond is much more costlier than gold but still people invest more in gold and they hold more gold than diamond. That's the way we have to look at it and I am a supporter of Bitcoin but we cannot have wrong comparison.
1478  Economy / Economics / Re: this makes a huge impact on the economy. on: November 21, 2023, 01:34:43 PM
Not completely aligned with your though process, but I agree that most of the people spend more in first 10 days of the month compared to last 20 days but we need to understand that's when people stock up grocery, end up paying all the dues and once they spent the default amount they go on budget mode and buy only things which are only absolutely necessary or what they have missed out to purchase during first ten days and it makes them look like they have per spent. It's a common misconception and I have worked with one of the latest eCommerce company hence I knew how the customer behavioural pattern.
1479  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you pay for signals? And how much ? on: November 21, 2023, 08:19:14 AM
Nah, it's not worth and I don't believe in the concept of these signal and infact I had created some topics in past against the premium signal providers. It's newbie or even seasoned sometime fall for their trick in the greed of quick money but ends up disappointed and I have come across channels promising that we will get our membership fee within one day of trading if that's the case then why not they accept payout once a user earn the amount equals to their membership fee, they indulge into heavy marketing and deceiving practices to pool in users. We should rather learn trading and reading candles and market sentiments though slow and steady it will help on long term.
1480  Economy / Economics / Re: #HODLing is not a smooth journey on: November 20, 2023, 07:37:17 PM
Yeah Hodling is not easy as it sounds and who can know it better than me wherein I have made mistake of cashing out too often, I have sold BNB when it was $8 and so many other coins which i was hodling. We need to plan long term and short term plan for hodling. I have a suggestion here which helped me as most of us uses same wallet for investment in Binance. I have created accounts at other exchange to ensure that I don't end up selling those coins.
