Hi all,

For high-roller cricket bettors, we're taking bets of up to 60 BTC on the Cricket World Cup matches. We've also got some fun props you can bet on - best bowler, bets batsman, highest opening partnership, most sixes, and more.

Check out our markets here:
https://www.cloudbet.com/en/sports/competition/1390

Best of luck!

Cloudbet
Can you offer bets on each and every ball?
Ill be very happy to bet on each ball.

Are you talking about betting well in advance?
With Bitcoin taking 10 min for a transaction to get confirmed, it will be very difficult to bet on a ball after taking into account the result on the previous ball.

PS - Who is your pick in the UAE vs Zim match?

...
i propose that we let companies that specialize in construction do these things and charge a fee on their use.
that way you have a market for the best roads and you vote directly with your wallet instead of being stuck with the useless roads governments build with no consideration for demand and price.

You got your wish.
Teh Gubermint doesn't build roads--companies specializing in roadbuilding bid on contracts and, having won, proceed to build roads.
That said, let me feed your paranoia: You know who else built excellent roads?
Hitler!

So what if Hitler built excellent roads?
Hitler was a vegetarian too, you know?

1464  Economy / Economics / Re: Could negative interest rates in the US boost Bitcoin? on: February 17, 2015, 12:59:49 PM
We already have negative real interest rates, which were supposed to boost BTC.
Negative nominal interest rates are a big step further.
1465  Economy / Speculation / Re: Digital currencies ‘to falter in 2015’ on: February 17, 2015, 12:58:07 PM
Please, not again. There's another topic on that stupid Juniper report. Those guys are only making hypothesis, and the future of BTC is very hard to predict, just like the price of oil. It's always going up or down without warning.

Cant blame em. These guys get paid by making reports trying to predict the future.

A lot of analysts made money by predicting that crude is going to cross $200/barrel shortly.  Grin

People who bet a large amount on New Zealand must have gotten a scare today.  Grin
Hahaha. No I don't think so. Yes, a lot of wickets fell down before they reached the target but it was an easy win for the NewZealands.
P.S: I didn't bet in this match. The odds were too poor.

It's just sad that they lost so many wickets.. But yea it was a easy win... Such a small run chase and a blazing start... They could have played it like test match.. Steady the partnership... It was easy enough anyways..

Surprising score line... given that New Zealand are one of the favourites to win the world cup.
1467  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: [WTB] Bitcoins In Delhi on: February 17, 2015, 10:34:52 AM
I am looking to buy Bit coins worth INR 2000 in Delhi.
I will pay in cash. Hand to Hand payment.

Put up your price or PM me.

Which part of Delhi are you in?
If you are lucky, you might find some sellers close to the place where you live / work.
If commuting costs are not there, they might decide to sell such small amounts.
1468  Local / Off-Topic (India) / Re: Whom are you gonna vote for? [Delhi] on: February 17, 2015, 10:28:51 AM
lol, I am Delhi born and I lived all my life in Delhi and know very well Delhi. And I saw all parties govt. in Delhi. Shiela Dixit led Congress govt. changed delhi from look like village to top class city. Still she did not got much credit becasue of Central Govt. Congress Scam.

And you are saying about communal thing. India's worst communal riot happened in Gujarat when your favourite Modi was CM there. And he even did not apologize yet for that. and You saying Kejriwal is communal. lol joke of the day.

Congress got 0 seats in Delhi because people were disgusted with its corruption.
Kejriwal's politics is a new experiment and I am happy to see how it will play out in Delhi.
If he manages the sky-high expectations that people have and turns out to be an effective administrator, nothing like it. I have my doubts about whether he will be able to do so, though.

i think Paksitan will Win the match. still chase able total.
I think Pakistan is going to win the match. This is not very big total to chase.

India should be winning this comfortably now.

Unfortunately so, it would take a pretty serious partnership to take them to a win now.

Yes. Five wickets down. Last recognized pair of batsmen.
Looks tough for Pakistan now.

I think there is still a chance but it would be hard. South Africa showed us today how big a single partnership can be though. 4/80 to 4/300+

215/8 now.
Misbah playing a lone hand now. But he is scoring a few boundaries.
India seem to have this in the bag.

1480  Local / India / Re: India's Best Bitcoin Exchange goes Live with Deposits & Withdrawals! on: February 15, 2015, 06:11:59 AM

@polynesia we have discussed this and are talking to some people to ensure that we get it right. The last thing we want to get into is any form of price manipulation or insider trading problems. For now, as and when we get large order requests over the phone or mail we direct customers to coinsecure and use the platform for fixed price sales. We have already added that to our documents, etc. But am not sure if we can place future trades on the exchange without prior approval.

Can this be done by a large 'anchor investor equivalent'?
