1461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FedoraCoin (TiPS); New style, new services, same unique features on: January 17, 2016, 11:12:37 AM
As it looks there are no more working exchanges for TIPS (Cryptsy is most probably gone forever and bter is just totally unreliable and it could follow Cryptsys path soon).
So please help me to add TIPS to the new and promising SafeCEX Exchange by voting for it here:

https://safecex.com/coin/add?q=tips

Thx!
1462  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CRYPTSY stopping withdraw locking accounts without notifying users! Class Action on: January 16, 2016, 01:50:27 PM
I am receiving one after the other "Resolved" notifications from Cryptsy for tickets I opened during the last year due to withdrawal and deposit problems (some of them are almost a year old) which never were answered, all saying the exactly same:
Quote
Please see http://blog.cryptsy.com/ for current and future updates.

Sincerely,

Cryptsy.com

I personally have my doubts about the withdrawal issues and LKY hack, but then again if you are going out of business and to a beach far away anyways, why cleanup the ticket system before - I mean seriously??
Either they plan to come back or somebody with a cleaning neurosis is preparing the ticket server for final shutdown.

1463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: BTER.COM (Recent and Continued Problems) on: January 16, 2016, 01:18:02 PM
I feel like bumping this so that more people become aware where bter is heading.

I have just posted my problems in the other bter thread:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1215679.msg13572528#msg13572528

EDIT [01/18/2016]: After 7 days I have received my LTC withdrawal finally, right now I have no more outstanding withdrawals from bter pending.
1464  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: bter.com is a scam on: January 16, 2016, 01:15:51 PM
I have ~120 US$ trapped in bter, tried to withdraw ~5 LTC last Monday which are now in state "Waiting for balance" (whatever that means) since then. My second support ticket was answered with the below canned response:
Quote
Dear Sir,
We are so sorry for the inconvenience caused. Our dev team is working on it.
Thanks for your patience

That was two days ago and I haven't heard back on my follow-up asking on an ETA for having LTC (or any withdrawals) working again.

When these signs showed in November last year with Cryptsy I could get most of my funds out over the next days, but I fear this time I will take a loss.

In any case, I would strongly advice you not to deposit any coins to bter as they seem to have very serious problems and it is doubtful if you ever get anything out there.

Naturally I will update this post, should I - against all my expectations - get any of my coins back from bter.

EDIT [01/18/2016]: After 7 days I have received my LTC withdrawal.
1465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [SBC] [SCRYPT] StableCoin The Story Continues! Join Our Community Coin Project on: January 16, 2016, 09:56:42 AM
Stablecoin is also listed on https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/, unlike other coins which were only listed on Cryptsy that will have now a truely hard time to survive.
1466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 【BOT】C.A.T. Cryptocurrency Automatic Trader 3.5 0.5฿ LifeLicense 12 Exchange! on: January 14, 2016, 10:06:54 PM
I was looking for next exchanges to interface with C.A.T.
Any suggestions?

Don't know if this has been proposed before, but Cryptopia seems to be a nice exchange.

Ahmed said the seed node went off line but is back up. Here is my peer listing if you want to use addnode:

Thanks! Here is the conf version:

addnode=149.210.234.234:11517
addnode=212.243.7.37:11517
addnode=45.55.250.196:11517
addnode=94.211.9.70:11517
addnode=[2001:918:ffdf:320:dc88:47ff:fea6:dc8e]:11517
addnode=[2a01:7c8:aab9:45:5054:ff:fe19:4707]:11517
addnode=[2601:602:8b00:c5f5:4050:c88f:f16:7ca8]:55954

Thanks for this, makes it easier.

Not that it does any good, though, I have 0 connections...

My node is listed twice above and I have currently 13 connections.
Are you sure you are running the very latest version of the wallet have reindexed/rescanned as per Ahmeds instructions?
I see two rejected/banned IPs in my logs, that's why I am asking.

1473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GRE] GreenCoin - A Tradeable Carbon Credit Ecosystem on: January 05, 2016, 04:48:14 PM

1474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ►IVUGEO COIN◄►Please update your wallet◄►NEW HARD FORK◄ on: December 26, 2015, 07:41:59 PM
Anyone else notice the blockchain stopped moving almost 4 hours ago  Huh Huh Huh

I hope all is ok with the coin and dev team.

Yep, wasted an afternoon worth of my hash on it, seems stuck with too low diff:
Code:
2015-12-26 14:51:23 ERROR: ProcessNewBlock : CheckBlock FAILED
2015-12-26 14:51:23 ERROR: CheckProofOfWork() : nBits below minimum work
2015-12-26 14:51:23 ERROR: CheckBlockHeader() : proof of work failed
My debug.log is filled with those. I guess another hardfork coming for which I am not in anymore.

Thanks for all the help guys,I really appreciate everyones time and efforts.

Please try with
Code:
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1/32

Also check your debug.log for any errors that might help.
