what do you think about inheritance service? if something will happen what will your family do with your bitcoins? do they have access to your wallet? do they even know what bitcoin is? I really think that there is a place for inheritance service in the near future  Put the private key in a box (write a will) and an ELI5 guide. Tada! Friendly suggestion: If a staked addresses is edited it becomes invalid, the reason should be obvious. I am seeing several that have been edited since initial posting. I would suggest deleting that post and making a new one with any changes.
I would also request anyone that has quoted an edited message to also delete that post.
No, we shouldn't delete a post that quoted an edited message. It is a valid reference for the original owner in case of a stolen account since that message could be his last chance to recover the account. (btw theymos can recover any deleted post) But for the member quoting message please do not edit your posts and avoid quoting multiple messages at the same time. (i mean 1 post per message) No it isn't as it has been EDITED and becomes practically worthless unless someone else quoted it soon after the OP. It already takes months to recover an account, do you want to draw it out longer, waiting for a post to be restored? I agree with you that any edited post here is worthless. I mean if a hacked account has its post containing the message edited and the post with the quoted message not edited, the unedited post with the correct message is valid and no need to delete it. Anyway, let's not go far off topic and let the admins investigate the hacked accounts... |

Is there any reason why the btc price is dropping that much today? Are people scared by the hard fork or why is it dropping?
No, i doubt that the hard fork has anything to do with the actual price drop but i am pretty sure that it is related to big whales cashing out for some profit. I think the price will increase again after a short time.  |
