Because when you are trying your hard to win, it will make you overthink and that your mental state will get stressed out.
I think this will work for both land base and online casinos.
I guess that "trying hard" means playing with high bets at high odds... expecting some big hit or bonus round (if it comes to slots). Been there, done that... and in most cases, it's just a busted bankroll. I had some nice profits after playing like that, but overall I think I lost a lot more times than I won. When playing relaxed, with patience, and without pushing "all the time", the chances for profit are higher. It's possible. But is the forum became very unfriendly for them? Because most of the comments that I've read before was seem to be favoring with Owl. In fact, I did not saw any post that were against them. Perhaps the forum just became "hostile" for them when issues popped up. Good news that there is a recent resolved case, because of that, I am seeing light that they could be genuine from the reason they told us why they were leaving for a while. We have had one of two cases in the past against the owl casino and it team, and they have failed to respond to that up till the moment they locked their ANN thread, there was no response to the complaints. -Their silence and exit from the thread look suspicious and as a reputable casino that hard everything going for them in the last year, I don't think this is the best possible approach to things. Maybe they decided to follow the 1xBit example... not responding to complaints and pretending nothing happened. Forum is not friendly/unfriendly, we judge by our experience, and each of us is (or should be) free to share experience after trying some casino (positive or negative). I guess some remarks are worth gold, experienced gamblers can give insight into what is good/bad, and how to improve some features. In a way, they were getting free advice about improving their casino, and I guess we all know that business advice can cost a lot... If you are living with low income then you have to change your lifestyle based around your income for your own sake. Feels like the whole point of that post is about lifestyle and that's where the matter the most in 3rd world country. The problem is that they don't change the lifestyle and too consumptive compared to their monthly salary and have pretty hard time to manage anything, that's what I see at least.
I think the same as you. The answer lies in the question itself... "To thrive with low income in a humble area" someone needs to be humble! If "lifestyle" cost more than monthly income it will be hard to manage anything, and as time passes, debts accumulate more and more due to excessive spending. Sooner or later (depending on how excessive) the big problems will start knocking on the doors! It's probably the moment when life starts to fall apart and people get desperate... desperation is tricky, in those moments we are capable of doing many things. I guess we all know how far people can go sometimes, and it's definitely not a good direction. |

OP presented some tips about where and how to start, but the bottom line is that we acquire knowledge from our experience... from reading, researching, practicing, etc. It takes time and effort to improve skills and sharpness. Bottom line, trading without knowledge is like gambling, taking chance to be lucky to get profit.
Trading and gambling without knowledge are the same things... there are some "lucky hits" in trading and gambling, but chances to make a profit with random trading/gambling and without any knowledge are very very low. But people like to dream about easy money without any hard work... |

Here on the forum, we have zillion threads about how profitable is to invest in crypto/gold/real estate/oil/etc... but I guess that nothing beats investing in weapons! But what level do you need to be for that? My point is simple! Too many weapons around... and demand for new and better ones is constantly increasing! But the old must be spent somewhere, and the new must be shown how it works, it will get a better price if it's tested in a real battle! So it's not a question will it happen, it's a question of where will it happen and when! And how big it can be... do you even know how many active conflicts there are around the world? We want peace, but (globally) we produce/sell/buy more weapons than ever before. It's a bit contradictory from my point of view. |

Coinmarket, coingecko, and some other similar sites are useful for a quick review of some projects... But if we compare Coingecko and Coinmarketcap, it is obvious enough that it is a lot easier for a coin or token to get listed on Coinmarketcap than Coingecko. As of this writing, Coinmarketcap has already admitted 22,547 cryptocurrencies while Coingecko has only 12,319. There's a huge difference, almost double, which could mean that more shitcoins are probably listed on Coinmarketcap than Coingecko. So while both are not reliable sites as far as legitimacy of the coins or projects are concerned, it is better to check Coingecko than Coinmarketcap. Yes, that is a big difference... I didn't notice this before. I know about "Coinpaprika" as well, check this out:  48k currencies? More than double compared to Coinmarketcap... x4 compared with Coingecko. This is interesting I must say, which price-tracking website has the highest listing standards? After a bit of digging, I found Cryptoslate, just 2.6k cryptos, but tokens/PoS/PoW is separated, anyway much fewer listed cryptos than on other sites:  In the end, price-tracking sites can be good for some start/basic searches... but as you say non of them is reliable for project legitimacy! With that said, these sites are only of an informational nature and have no real weight. |
