1461  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: July 20, 2022, 10:56:13 AM

So win or lose, I doubt that GGG will be force somewhat to fight his mandatory or whatever they call it to have one champion. The focus for him right now is Canelo and that's what he is going to concentrate whatever WBA orders him, it doesn't matter for now.

It's a rivalry that he is really eager to win. There's nothing else that is important for him aside from taking down

Canelo and prove that he really deserves the win, a personal matter he is not after to whoever
the organization is requiring him.

It's a must fight for GGG and since both camps are ready now and they are really hyping these upcoming trilogy.
1462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does staking even make any sense on: July 18, 2022, 09:44:50 AM
Staking is very important for all the project because it allows to earn more passive income but the project but itself must be useful and bring something new to people like https://twitter.com/ImmobiliumInc/status/1541555357524312065

That is why it is important to carefully evaluate the potential of every project.

Now competition between cryptocurrency projects is so high that is why it is very important to attract attention to the project to have more users and increase the liquidity of the platform.

Because the big competition now holders have a big choice of different projects with staking.
The most important is to evaluate the right potential of the coin.

Coin evaluation is certainly very important, sometimes we only focus on high Apr/Apy but the performance of coins is very bad so that the high APY cannot cover the losses of the price of coins that drop, choosing a coin that already has a strong reputation is certainly safer if we want to focus on Staking.
Agree to that point, even the amount of APY is good, but the project or the token didn't perform well,

the actual profits are still nothing or better to say that instead of gaining some amount, it's more on losing your investment in terms
of value, so like you, I'll be more on the progress and the stability of the coin to keep improving even the staking rewards is not
that big but still passive in terms of actual value of the coin.
1463  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Fengshui on: July 18, 2022, 04:13:10 AM
So you see even if everything depends on luck and circumstances there are many people even non-Chinese are following Fengshui practices.

Since it's luck maybe these people are finding ways how to make that luck comes to them.

Not wrong after all as what if, even though there's no explanation about it, they are really lucky to using those feng-shui practices.

I guess we just have to leave it that way and let them do what they want.

We just need to leave it that way and let them believe in something that increases their hope of winning,

There are people who act or believe like that and there's nothing to be bother they have their own mindsets about believing
in this kind of mystery or additional luck enhancement. Oh well, I don't know how to label, but to the gamblers that uses it
they are in the position that it can add winning to their gambling.
1464  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 18, 2022, 03:56:21 AM
I see an unmotivated Russ so yes it's bad for the team but it's also bad for him. He really wants to be out that's why he fired his agent who suggested he stays. Westbrook is not some no name and newbie anymore. I think he is already at a point where he cares more where he can play happily than the money he gets.

Russell Westbrook just needs some push. I don't see him as a hindrance to the Lakers' success. Maybe give him several games to work again on his consistency. Westbrook is still one of the most athletic guards in the NBA today. He also understands that he needs to cooperate with LBJ or AD and last season, he didn't show the behavior that he is the main scorer on the team. He just does his usual Westbrook stuff although the problem is, he is not consistent.

Individual stat I will agree that he still can be one of the most athletic guards inside the league.

If he will stay in Lakers for good, he need to work more and adjust to how LeBron and the lakers play the game, the team needs
to work more with their chemistries, but more important is having AD with healthy condition.

The last time run was a failure they need to impress the fans in this upcoming season to regain support.
1465  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can change of environment have an effect on gambling addiction. on: July 17, 2022, 11:45:47 AM
The only thing that will make someone to change from it's decision. it's because of  lacks of funds but when someone is rich very well which nobody can bend it decision unless it undergoes numbers of advices from prominent people. Because a situation that changes the decisions of someone emotions and conditions is very difficult and especially for those people who have what it takes to control and stamped for their words. But from this your analysis, i have not see were it relate or collabrate with gambling issues.

It's true the only thing that makes a person want to change is his decision and it requires strong determination. I do not agree that lack of funds can eliminate his bad habit of gambling. I think lack of funds is one of cause and effect, it is not impossible that he will do his gambling again another day when he has money. and this is not at the core of the topic of this thread. Likewise, advice from prominent people or clergy does not fully help people who are addicted to gambling.

And also the cause of the unlawful act when an addicted gambler gets run out of money. He can think of something

unexpected, to the point that he might steal or anything that can bring him money to gamble back, it's not really relevant with lacking
of funds, but more on changing the directions of the person to avoid or completely move away from gambling, changing the environments
and keep the person busy with other things can straighten the problem with gambling addictions.
1466  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: July 17, 2022, 10:57:37 AM

This is what happened in both of the fights between Canelo and GGG, with the second fight being completely stolen from GGG, and it was not only the fans that were mad as at the time I remember that many experts were also unhappy about the result as it was obvious GGG had won that fight.

There are many rumors about that fight and it's much better if they ended the fight with another draw, right?

but it's been rewarded by Canelo and GGG got robbed of that decision. Now another fight is upcoming, and it's another
chance for both fighters to prove something from this personal rivalry.

fans are excited to see how this fight will be decided, either another decision or a KO, something that is still unsure
knowing how tough these two fighters were.
1467  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 17, 2022, 09:00:54 AM
^ Yeah, haters gonna hate, there are even video of DeRozan being lock down by some amateur in that game as well. But it doesn't matter, still you can see that James is still at his peak and maybe really excited to come back next season to play again with Lakers.

Still no need in the KD or Irving, maybe they will remain a Nets at least for the time being. The Nets though are asking too much from the other team that they are not willing to give up.

They are demanding for good trades knowing that they invest with these two assets and they are not willing to

let it go just by that, though we are not sure if what kind of negotiations are ongoing right now and how they are trying to
maximize any available offer coming from the different teams.

It will be revealed once the process is already on its way, but so far there's none or no available update yet in terms
of any possible team in acquiring these two super stars..
1468  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | Earn up to 50% rakeback | VIP | on: July 17, 2022, 05:15:37 AM

Thats true. If we're in losing streak (close to get busted), sometimes we are committing a decision out of desperation. I did this before through martingale strategy with a mindset of if I win then its really meant for me and if I lose so be it, I will stop playing for a while if it happened.

Yolo is the most common mistake when you are too aggressive and desperate with your decision.

Mostly it will be burn your bankroll, I'm not sure, but before I was in the impression that it's also the time that casino is waiting
they are really enticing gamblers to experience a good run, and after some time, losing streak will start to show up and the next
thing to happen is gamblers are already out of money from inside their wallet.
1469  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does bitcoin dump have any impact on gamblers ? on: July 16, 2022, 07:12:03 PM

People are not always that good when it comes to investment aspect where they do really believe that Bitcoin is the most hyped coin? thats really a very wrong idea to have.
Whenever we do play gambling then we dont usually mind about the money being spent whether you are making use of btc or some altcoins that they are accepting thats why i could really say that current market conditions cant really give out that much effect because gamblers are really that willing on spending their coins for their leisure.

If you do really think about investment while you do gamble then it doesnt really correlate but it would be a good bonus if you do win big and hit something significant on btc forum of course.

There are gamblers who are just aiming for entertainment, and if they use their crypto, they don't mind

if how much they use as long as they are being entertained, they will not be affected by any changes in terms of value, while
there are also gamblers who are very strict to this kind of enjoyment.

They are just allotting portions of their crypto and try not to exceed, some might be using their crypto for investment while
some really use it for gambling purpose.
1470  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | Earn up to 50% rakeback | VIP | on: July 16, 2022, 06:32:14 PM
I agree. Bankroll management is a very important part of being a great gambler, any veteran gambler would know that you do not go all in right away and make mistakes, you need to make sure that you are doing something decent with the amounts and could go on for a while before you run out of money. That's not a common thing done by people all that much, but I agree that it is going to be something special when you do and you could earn more money that way.

This could be done by studying and learning how to do bankroll management. If you like reading there are articles, or if you like watching then there are youtube videos about it that will teach you how to be a better gambler.

Yeah, if a player doesn't worry about bankroll management and doesn't control his emotions, the chance of winning will be close to zero in the long run. It seems to me that the optimal bankroll for slot games should be 500 or even 1000 times more than the initial bet per one spin. In other words, the principle is the same as in poker, except that the dispersion in slots is clearly many times greater than in poker.

If the player doesn't have any plans before playing, the chance of burning all his/her bankroll is possible.

Bankroll manage, ent is very important to people/gamblers who have that kind of desire to win over the house, if they
know how to limit themselves. They can adjust and quit while they are still holding or while they are still on the favorable side.
If they can't work with their self-control, even they already got some good run, the next thing they will know is they
already loses everything back, worst it will consume together with their capital.
1471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Fengshui on: July 16, 2022, 05:37:54 PM
Is the blowing of dice before you roll it some kind of a fengshui too? I think it is. Some people let others blow the dice to build some luck while other will try to blow away the bad luck.
Lucky items in the pocket or in the wallet. That's one of my habit and I think the Chinese tradition has something to do with it.
Keychains with luck characters too.
Yeah, I am a traditional guy and for me it works. But that's just me because I know someone will use facts and math to oppose it.

There are so many opinions about this kind of belief. If you think it works on you, then it's good.

If on someone they are not a fan and they will choose to do the math and try to go deeper in analysing the possible outcome, then
it's their choice to deal with that.

I'm not a good at how really this kind of belief works, but I heard it from some friend that they are using it to fight against
bad luck, maybe it works on them. I'm not sure though.
1472  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: July 16, 2022, 04:59:09 PM

Maybe this fight will break in the top 10 but not going to be in the top 5.

Possibly, so what are they waiting for, they should make an official announcement already so people will start buying tickets for the probable biggest fight of the year. Crawford vs Spence, this is the fight that we have been waiting for, and I can't accept if it will not be realized this year.

But maybe they are just ironing things up that's why they can't make it public yet? And we have seen Floyd's face entering the picture as well because he knows this is a big fight so maybe he is pitching something so that he can be included in the money? The exciting is killing us, and yes, we want positive news and hopefully this all boxing politics or who is getting the most of the purse and split should have been finalized or at least negotiated already.

They are trying to negotiate and before exposing things they wanted to make sure that the contract was already been signed.

Boxing industry has a huge of money making venues aside from the actual pot. There are also sources
in where promoters and boxers receive a decent cut of their participations, both camps are well aware and they
wanted to make sure that they have a decent amount of profits before settling everything down.
1473  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 16, 2022, 04:02:31 PM
Agreed, Lebron encouraged the management to acquire those old superstars in exchange for there young talent and veteran support. He was over confident that he can carry the team even with these broken superstar players.
He's always confident that he can carry the team, he has had that mentality ever since and that's why he's manifesting that mindset into actions and we all saw that.

He thought he really is a great player, his power to demand got bigger when the Lakers won a championship, but actually it was Davis who work hard for that game, without Davis, Lebron would not win a championship. The thing is, the Lakers management sees Lebron as the captain of the ship, so they just give him the freedom to make a decision and that even includes affecting the management decision on who to hire and who to fire.

It's a bond between Lakers and LeBron after they've got him from the east side, he got that privilege

to pick who are those players to surround him, they've got a good run during the bubble because of AD's healthy season
but we have seen the impact after he got another serious injury.

Last season was a joke, putting old superstars are not a good decision from the Lakers management they can't run against
the younger and stronger new sets of stars.
1474  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 15, 2022, 07:08:34 AM

Yeah, and I don't think that the Suns are willing to offer him that contract, it was obvious last year. And if they can't get Durant, then they will have to suffer the consequences of allowing Ayton to leave. Or Booker might be leverage now, so it's really up to them if they are willing or else forget about the Durant sweepstakes. And good for Ayton, but there will be more burden on his shoulder as he needs to proved himself that he is all worth of that max contract that the Pacers are going to offer.

Nothing to worry in Ayton part, he already sign his dream contract and it's secure or else pacers need to

look for another option after this season, but most players are up to the money. Sorry to say, but it's no longer the same league as
before where pride is really important, it's more on the money side and how they will earn the max that they always dream after
impressing the league from their previous performances.
1475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Polygon (MATIC) to $20? on: July 14, 2022, 10:40:49 AM
Not within a year it won't, at the very best scenario that Polygon make a surprising development with the utility on their platform and the crypto bullish happened and help them, the price price they could reach will be less than $10. The case right now is that they far behind Solana and BSC, their most popular usage is OpenSea I think and the popularity of NFT is keep falling down, so except they do something, the $20 won't even happen at anytime.
With the next bullish it can reach high, but $20 is something very big. Already it have marked its ath value around $3. Additional $17 is something very big expectation. As said the NFT market have got big dependence over the market. Recent days the NFT trend have got away same as ICO. People have realised these are some form of market strategies.

It can reach another ATH, but like what you said, $20 is something that needed to have more flowing money.

Though we are inside the crypto market and things happen without any references, I mean we never
know how far the value might be, as long as the team continues working and there is support
all over the possibilities of reaching $20 might happen, if not this year, maybe in the next strong bull.
1476  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any changes experienced within body - Gambling??? on: July 14, 2022, 10:25:46 AM

I happen to have an uncle with the same resistance but opposite time because he will start from evening until morning, I don't know if he have more losses than winnings because I don't really ask some questions to him but as I observed, he's having more wins than losses because he is capable to go out and treat us at a fancy restaurant for almost 3-4 times a week.
That's why I've said to myself that maybe there's really these kinds of people where their passion is in gambling that's why they often win.

Wow, so you have someone who personally experienced this kind of activities.

Though we are both unsure if how they can manage to win more and possibly lessen the chance of losing a lot, those are special
skills that not many can be able to perform, adjusting and limiting yourself with how much you are aiming to lose and how
much you are aiming to win is something that is not usual.
1477  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any changes experienced within body - Gambling??? on: July 13, 2022, 03:42:06 PM
I don't think I do have any changes when I gamble or make lose in a bet. I do feel demoralize sometimes if I gamble carelessly without good observation of what I am doing or what I have done. Gambling is not for everybody and I know of a friend that can gamble from morning till night because of their love they have for it. Mostly times when I make consecutive loses and do have some pains in me of why I indulge in a careless gambling without taking time to observing the games I picked.

There are people who can manage to take that long. It's already been a practice that allows them to adjust and

enjoy or gaining a decent amount of money from this kind of activities. I'm not a fan of taking
longer time but like you I'm also have that same sentiment if I lose a lot or big amount can't
take the pressure and being demoralized is mostly the after effect of miscalculations.
1478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 13, 2022, 10:13:20 AM

Yeah, but there also an issue before that. He was already asking for a max contract right after they given CP3 his own at 21-22 season. I think that's when the problem started with the Ayton relationship with management and coaching staff.
Who would not ask for it? They are the Western Champions and fought for the Finals, he might have thought there should be perks on what they achieved but it was not awarded.
I have no doubts this big guy will play at his best if only offered the contract that he wants. He may just want security for himself.

Yes, considering his contributions way back and how he really does his best to help the team.

But on the business side, I can only say that Suns management is also considering other possibilities before they can give
that offer. The problem already smoke out and the relationship is no longer good, letting go Ayton and let him get the desire
contract will also allow Suns to hire new replacement.
1479  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inherited gambling on: July 13, 2022, 09:08:30 AM
Friends is a big factors in such vices. I can agree with that since I grew up becoming one of them. I've learned gambling a long time a go and I have a friend who is also a gambler, This results me in participating more gambling activities. This is why parenting should involve knowing their child friends or their background for them to warn their kids on not what to copy or do the same as their friends. Depending on your area, You can still do guide your child even they are on an adult age. This age is where vices started coming as law doesn't limit them to do it.

As time passes by, kids are growing, and even parents are trying their best. There's still chances that influence from

friends will intimidate. I'm sure as a parent we always wanted our kids to grow in a normal way, but considering all those dangers,
and the surroundings that they might be exposed.

They will develop closeness to someone that might introduce them to the kind of activities that we parents are really afraid,
I agree that screening people that will be surround your kids is also part of good parenthood..
1480  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does staking even make any sense on: July 13, 2022, 07:19:58 AM

Staking very popular and in demand when cryptocurrency market rise. During the rise of the market many people earn more income for staking but whey cryptocurrency market falls many people stop staking and sell their assets.
If the staking reward less than the loss caused by the massive volatility I guess that makes a lot more sense instead of staking, staking is great if the trend lean towards rally otherwise most of the time the APY that you were offered doesn't really surpass the inflation that is caused by the current trend.
so basically only staking if the trend is bullish.

also, better stake coins that are promising or has the possibility to increase their value over time. because if not, you will just lose in this process. some people are into this earning type because some are just waiting for the right time to sell off their coins. while waiting, why not increase the number of your coins, right? but definitely, not all staking coins are worth waiting.

Indeed, there are some that really give decent benefits after some time of holding it

but not all can be productive and the problem with the value is always the big question, you need to really
take time in sorting everything before you make your investment, staking coin is passive as long as your willingness
to wait is on you, it takes time so better to have longer patience.
