1461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC price will go up in 2-3 months! Don't sell now, you'll regret it... on: March 28, 2013, 09:50:23 PM
More and more businesses are accepting LTC and thus creating a marketplace for them. I see the price of LTC rising over the next year.
1462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin is a ponzi, a pyramid and a pump and dump scheme and crap, too on: March 28, 2013, 09:41:22 PM
If you're going to laugh at Litecoin, you may as well laugh at Bitcoin and everything Bitcoin has spawned.

Agreed, LTC is here to stay.
1463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC difficulty chart lifetime on: March 28, 2013, 09:37:30 PM
Wow that is a sharp increase in difficulty.
1464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [WTB] 100 LTC for Paypal Verifed on: March 27, 2013, 10:22:42 PM
No nonsense please. I want to but 100LTC at the going rate.

Will pay by Paypal UK verified.
Your offer is noncence. Why anyone would sell LTC for paypal at the going rate?

Why wouldn't they?

The risk is to LTC seller unfortunately scams run rampant in regards to paypal purchases of BTC and LTC.
1465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Depression on: March 27, 2013, 05:06:34 AM
It was fun watching the price go up for awhile but now I get sad because I can't buy all those cheap bitcoins anymore.

Moving on to Litecoin now!

Hear hear! LTC is truly benefiting from the rise, which is great. The more alt currencies the better.
1466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the point of Litecoin if Bitcoin is THE cryptocurrency? on: March 27, 2013, 04:59:12 AM
Quicker confirms, yes. Also, no ASICs, at least not yet, so GPU mining remains viable. Litecoin is also an excellent hedge if you wish to trade bitcoins without reverting to bankster paper. Some retailers do accept both coins too.

I'm a fan of both BTC and Ł. Heck, even namecoins may find their niche one day.

This is why I love LTC also. Also there are more and more merchants accepting LTC everyday. I accept it on my businesses website (http://www.allthingsluxury.biz). I might add proudly.
1467  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Please, can a smart person convince me to STOP mining Litecoins on Macbook Air on: March 27, 2013, 04:56:54 AM
The only reason I'm DOUBLE checking because 6 months ago I ALMOST bought a lot of Bitcoins but I didn't.

I want to make sure that by quitting mining Litecoins I'm not missing out on much.
I don't think I'm missing out on much

....but I want to DOUBLE check with an expert.

Please don't make fun of me :p

Honest. If you don't want to miss out do this: Get some money and buy at least 1-5 Bitcoins and 10-50 Litecoins. Then stop worrying and stop trying to kill the Air, I have one, they will not last if you mine on them. If you can afford a Air you can buy some BTC and some Litecoin and then forget about it. Sit on them.

Agreed just buy some BTC and LTC or sell something that people want for BTC or LTC. Thats what I do, I leave the mining to the miners.

1472  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MTGOX to collapse if Japan goes "the Cyprus way" ? on: March 25, 2013, 05:31:12 PM
The EU forced Cyprus' hand.  Why would Japan force Japan to seize bank funds so that Japan will bailout Japan?

Exactly, Japan has a printing press (Not saying that is a good thing) and cannot be forced by the EU.
1473  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Currency? Commodity? How about a stock? on: March 25, 2013, 05:29:12 PM
My thoery:

Bitcoin is a publicly traded company stock whose owners are the shareholders.
Some shareholders work at the company to create stock certificates for themselves and sell them to others. (Miners)
The company pays its' employees in more shares. When the amount of shares gets to a certain amount (block halving), the stocks are reverse-split.
Said stock can be purchased publicly from existing stock holders at any time and sold at will.
The purpose of this utility company is to provide a space to swap share values between shareholders.

I see the relation.
