Guys, I also experience this, but when I do mine other algos like XMR drop hashrate is minimal, I am thinking that it has a relationship with the dag creation, what do you think?

By minimal, please do tell how much hash rate is lost?

0-2 h/s drop very minimal and fluctuating which i guess is normal and at least no changes compared to eth.

1463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Rig with smaller Hashreate recieve more shares on flypool. on: October 04, 2017, 03:03:31 PM
From the looks of it, seems that you're average hashrate started at the less, it only means that the other miner has been up and running for a while compared to yours, it is logical that whoever has a long running mining rigs has receive much shares.
1464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DId anyone get investigated when they cashed out a lot of bitcoin? on: October 04, 2017, 08:10:05 AM
Fortunately, there is a limit to cash-outs here in the Republic of the Philippines. At the moment, the maximum cash-out per day is 50,000 Philippine Peso (which is not surprising for a single transaction, and won't put you on the watch-list, at all). I know someone my age has cashed out nearly 500,000 Pesos worth of bitcoins, and so far nobody from the government has questioned him.
In a certain bank here in our country Philippines they already reduced the cash out into 25,000 a day. They had a limit in their depositors that can cashout for 25,000 a day using atm. So when you have a cashout a huge amount direct in a bank definitely a bank will investigate where the money came from. You know they are keen to this case because I know someone has put in a watch list.

These Authorities are getting paranoid on the previous incident of money laundering in the Philippines involving bank personnel/Manager, I've heard they are also targeting other online payments to limit cash outs and might involve our bitcoin exchanges.

Re: M2N-e motherboard amd 555 CPU won't boot with 3 gpu's
Ddr2 4gb
Windows 10 pro

I've tried every combination of pcie slots. all slots and cards work with 2 gpu' installed. Is there a bios setting that needs to be changed?

Whats your bios version? Are you Up-to-Date ? https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/M2NE/HelpDesk_BIOS/

My m2ne serial number is 123456789000
Version 1xx
Seems strange but that's what came up under command prompt

would like to know your power supply capacity, and what are your GPU's? you must have at least 700-800 watts power supply powering up 3 GPUS with risers and motherboards, hope my suspect was right that it can't power up your 3 GPU's.

1466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Risers: what is this trend to remove them and attach the GPU to the mobo? on: October 03, 2017, 02:51:28 PM
but my bad experience with risers is that I use 4pin molex psu cable powering up 3 Risers wit GPU Rx480 8GB, and ended up burning the cable connected to PSU.  Grin

Basically you have used a 3x splitter over a single molex cable?

I also read that sata to power the riser is generally a bad idea, this is correct?

nope, the PSU cable molex already has 3 molex capable, but were not design to handle much power, imagine 300watts for 3 GPU passing by with that wire, 2 riser with GPU is fine with single cable connecting molex, I am currently using it, I do also have Sata risers, no bad experience about them but I dont use them to power up 2 risers with GPU. its only one to one.
1467  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Risers: what is this trend to remove them and attach the GPU to the mobo? on: October 03, 2017, 02:33:01 PM
one bad side for using riser is that if you accidentally plugged in wrong positions, the PCIEx1 cable riser can be easily plugged to pci-E x 16 slot of the mainboard even if not in correct positions and may cause short circuits, but my bad experience with risers is that I use 4pin molex psu cable powering up 3 Risers wit GPU Rx480 8GB, and ended up burning the cable connected to PSU.  Grin

I noticed some XFX cards working in the watttool, you may be undervolt, but by a happy coincidence I find you can use MSI after burner to undervolt well. Unfortunately there are a lot of mem. The type of controller chip, the solution I provide is "general" so it wont work with every card. thankyou

I'm curious, what are advantages of using afetrburner instead of default built-in wattman?

Well, MSI Afterburner pretty has a good user experience and easy management in terms of Overclocking and undervolting, by one click all setting would apply to all of your GPU cards, not to mention also with fans management and monitoring of power.

Hello Atriz, I've seen 1 slot available for Sr. Member on the coming week, can I avail the slot?

warm regards.

My rank has been promoted to Hero Member since a few days ago, so please reserve a Hero spot if there is an available one. I've sent you a PM before but got no response. Thanks.

Hello aTriz. My account has been promoted to Senior Account. I would like to move to the senior signature when a free spot opens. Is it doesn't open, it's ok to stay on the current level. Please let me know if/when it can be done. Thank you.

There are no more spots left, we are full. After post counting there may be a chance to move up. Wait 24 hrs please.

Hi Atriz, Would like also to move to Sr. when you have free slots after the counting. thanks
1472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: both gpu being recognized as device 0? on: October 02, 2017, 02:58:29 PM
This may sound like a silly question, but do you have the cards setup to use SLI or Crossfire?
You could think this is strange and maybe it is, but I have an R9 390 and a 1080Ti Fe. I had the amd first but because of upgrade reasons I bought the new 1080Ti.
I start mining when Zcash had low dif and then I was willing for a upgrade, that's why I ended with two brands of cards before you ask.

this is indeed weird, I haven't encounter nor read this type of problem before, have you tried installing and checking on GPU-Z, basically it does display your GPU's, what I am thinking is to use atiwinflash app for checking device info, this is for checking only and don't do flashing. if you have validated that it is indeed using a single device number, then I guess you have a faulty mb.

1473  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: the best way for bitcoin to be known to all levels of society on: October 02, 2017, 06:47:16 AM
now bitcoin has reached the price of 4445 $ is not it at that price should everyone have already know what bitcoin, but in fact there are still many people who do not know the existence of bitcoin, what I ask is there any powerful way that all people know how to use bitcoin?

When you say "All people", it is also includes people who lived in a remote areas where technology still doesn't reach them, so it is impossible with them to know and especially use it, you could safely say that majority of technical people knows the bitcoin and will probably use it, price surge is one way these people got interested and know about bitcoin.
1474  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think? on: October 02, 2017, 06:20:09 AM
Do you think the richest families or personalities in the world would be interested in using bitcoins??

Rich people probably could not ignore bitcoins nowadays, by looking at the current price and its history business is somewhat on their minds.

Quote
And if so, would that be a good thing for us small people or negative??
I mean rich people are capabale of so much things, so it makes me wonder..

The greater people use it, the stronger bitcoin would become, so its a positive note to all bitcoin communities, what makes me think is the challenges ahead of us, governments and other greedy authorities is now on the move trying to regulate it.
1475  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has no role in real world on: October 02, 2017, 06:10:57 AM
BTC has no role to play in the real world affairs. People who try to create such a role are confused between asset and currency. The design itself only considers pure virtual activity with no touch with real world. People also mistake the buzz words such as "peer-to-peer", "border-less", "decentralised" etc as the problems to be solved. But sadly these are not real problems. The insignificant problems (speed and fees) are hardly enough to sell and these problems are going away anyway.
Well, I guess you have an Idea what updates are coming on our way to Bitcoin.

Quote
I have no respect to Nakamoto because he ignored the most important element (govt and authorities) in social situation and still want to sell it as some solution to social situations. Hardly any country has regulatory framework that deals with btc.

You mislead the purpose of blockchain, this is not something to do with Greedy government and Authorities, Respect is utmost to people who disrupted financial institutions Like Nakamoto.

Quote
The problems are rooted in the philosophy of crypto, not in the code. So, the beauty of blockchain tech is irrelevant for btc. It is like selling a bad app by showing how great Android is.

O really, I am wondering people embracing it, It is like, buying the bad app and usually use it, seems its not bad anyways.

1) Bitcoin does not provide controlled visibility, because it doesn't recognise the existence of governments. Now if you make changes to provide visibility to authorities, ALL privacy is gone. If you don't, then ALL visibility is gone.

That's how bitcoin works, that is why we love it, we are on own banks, no government attachments.

Quote
2) Fees are rooted in the design. Whatever consensus you invent for a public blockchain, you can't escape rewarding the work of validating transactions. So zero fees are not possible.

Oh Look, haven't you heard of what you called " Small transaction Fees".

There are people somewhat, hate Bitcoin.

Cheers.

1476  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: will we succeed with bitcoin? on: October 02, 2017, 03:36:43 AM
believing is a continuing process, check the history, Bitcoin is way very different to other investments out there, I remember trading experts speak off and always making their own opinions saying "Hey, bitcoin is a Bubble, it could make burst out anytime", they don't realize that Bitcoin is technology that must not compare to any product or services offered publicly.
1477  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to start to trade bitcoin? on: October 01, 2017, 03:28:41 PM
every beginner must be afraid of loss in trading bitcoin.
do you have any suggestions or feedback on how to successfully trade bitcoin?

What I did to my family members is that I personally deposit small amounts to them to play with, I do even sign them up to bitcoin exchanges in order for them to start immediately, then I teach the basics, "Buy Low, Sell High", My condition is that when the small amount I gave will be trippled with their trading, then they can now trade bigger amounts confidently.

1478  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Reaction on: October 01, 2017, 03:23:52 PM
I just thought about a little theory. When I usualy tell friends or people in generall about cryptocurrencies and that they need to inform themselves about the subject the feedback is 90% positive. People realize that cryptocurrencies is the next "big thing".

So back to my theorie. In recent days there were a lot of discussions about Jamie Dimon CEO of JP Morgan spreding FUD. So if he actually gets people aware of crypto even by bad puplicity won't it be positive for the market despite causing a price drop by panic sellers.

So do you think even bad news about crypto in the wider media will drive the market up in the long run becuase it makes people aware?

It could usually go down at first, then big sharks came in and buy bitcoin at the low prices, then the price will go up again, awareness is a hard reference when some big time FUD news like mafias butt in, It was the time also that updates and forks has been implemented that makes the Fud news even more attractive to panicking sellers.
1479  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: when you try to explain people about cryptocurrency do they understand? on: October 01, 2017, 03:05:41 PM
It is much easier when people tend to get interested what cryptocurrency is, I will explain them to the languages that they can understand and avoid some technical terms when the person what I'm talking with is not technical, I even say things about what is encryption all about, and comparison with money transfers, so far they get an affirrnative reply.  Grin
1480  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the people who don't like Bitcoin? on: September 30, 2017, 10:54:38 AM
Just say feel sorry to them, bitcoin is not for everyone I guess, If there unlikeness to bitcoin doesn't affect your interest then let them be alone, but if it influence you then that's a different story and its time to show them how did you earn so far with bitcoin, the bitcoin price will surely knock their head.
