1461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Play to earn projects can be regulated too? on: October 09, 2022, 06:55:30 PM
How many of you guys are into play to earn projects? I am sure you must have heard of GameFi, it's shocking that Wonder Hero, a play to earn game that I have been following since last year and also an investor release a news today that GameFi projects are been regulated which makes this project to be temporarily unavailable for download.

I have never for once thought that gaming projects can be regulated, what the hell is going on?.
I am not really into play to earn but I am somehow updated on some of them because I hang out most of my time in the forum and on other crypto-related sites. Crypto regulations are now becoming a trend. If you mostly hang out on the forum then you will be aware of that and won't really shock you that some services are now being regulated or will be regulated after some time.

It is said on the pic that only new users are only going to be affected but existing users can still continue playing the game so don't worry too much. I think regulation can only add an extra layer of security. Isn't that great? Although you may be required to do a KYC later on which can be a big deal to some.
1462  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Turkish Super League 2022/23 Season on: October 09, 2022, 05:23:11 PM
With this win now besiktas is at the very top of the table and really looks good,if they continue like this they might even win the title. They share the first place so far with two other teams but still Basaksehir didnt play and has two matches to play.  I think the attack will do more later on in the season,so far they are winning their matches and thats important so i think more goals will come later on.
Surely a good win for Besiktas as now they are sharing first spot with two other teams but still have chance for going down because we have three teams which are capable for going at the top, specially the best chance for Basaksehir which is giving amazing job from the start of this season and lost no match and concede one goal.

Fenerbahçe is also on good run with their attack is also one of the best in Turkish League, so we can have few changes in coming weeks which match this league more interested because now few teams are doing good job and improved quality which is good and with the arrival of few quality players things are going to be change for this league even still very long way to go as they need more positive impact for competing other European teams which are superior in quality and finances.
1463  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Twitch To Ban Gambling Streaming By October 18th. on: October 08, 2022, 07:48:08 PM
To me this would have been a better choice instead of banning gambling streamings, I know they still allow poker and some other games but I still think the ban is too harsh, but it seems to me they were not interested in having this kind of content in their platform and this is why they went for the ban, still I think they are going to be the losers at the end of this as the demand for gambling related content has gone up dramatically since the pandemic started, and I do not see this tendency stopping anytime soon.
I can't agree more, the demand has increased exponentially due to the global lock downs and the online passive income exposures propaganda. The Twitch gambling ban is bad for company and slot streamers but on other hand no more addiction chasers will spent their time on such streams of their favorite streamer. Let's see what happens after mentioned date, other gambling platforms will suffer in terms of promotions after this decision, IMHO.
It is wiser to make money if they could, but they decided not to, so there must be some logic behind it. I mean you have to be insane to think that twitch would be saying no to gambling just for fun, when they were making so much money from it, it’s obvious that they would rather keep it going if they could, so there must be some pressure from the legal side that they need to close it down.

It’s like how there are so many companies who rather work in big nations, but move to Bahamas or something just because they have to, not because they want to, to make more profit. Twitch is owned by amazon, there could be some pressure from that side in the end.
1464  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Education seems to have failed in some developing country on: October 08, 2022, 02:53:21 PM
I think it is a very natural thing when there are some people who have other skills outside the formal education they have attended in school or lectures. But some of the people I saw at my place actually went through that education just to get a diploma and wanted everyone to admit that they already had a certain title, but they didn't have any skills at all. And I think this is a very strange thing because after several years of education, they still can't do anything and are not even productive enough for themselves.
This is due to the lack of land for them to develop the knowledge they have acquired during their education. It could be because they are wrong in choosing the right field of study that makes it difficult for them to develop their skills. If they go to college according to their talents, surely they will know what to do after they finish college. In this case, I can say that they went to college just to join in.
The funny thing is, we are looking for some people in some fields, they need to be educated and educated a lot better than how they are right now, but we do not need a lot of them, we need just "some" people in that field, hopefully doing it great. Which means that some fields are getting a lot more people than we need and causes a lot of trouble.

Just to give an example, in my nation we have a lot of teachers, which means teachers get paid less than what they are worth since they are replaceable and many teachers are out of a job, and government tries to put them in local places but can't employ them all, so there are way too many teachers who are either working for a little amount of money, or not working at all.
1465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Popular projects and none popular projects on: October 07, 2022, 08:39:15 PM
Yes, popular projects can easily turn out as scam or a big failure. You must have already heard of the case of Terra (Luna). If you haven't yet, read about it. Other than that, the altcoin market is full of such stories. If we trace its history back to the times when ICO is very popular, even those projects that managed to sold out their hard caps in a matter of hours or few days end up scams or big failures. That is why at this point, it is only Bitcoin that you can rely on. Or perhaps an altcoin or two.
It takes time for the luna team to declare that their project was a scam. I think that's because they want to gain the trust of the people first because they can scam more money that way than if they perform the scam too early. The only problem is that the charges or the consequences that they are going to be face is also big.

We should not base on the popularity of the project alone but we can also include their age. If the coin has aged a lot like eth and btc, and it is still popular then it's a big sign that they are safe and still profitable. Non popular projects on the other hand can still pump. This is where you can find hidden gems but we must be careful on picking them.
1466  Economy / Economics / Re: Business failure among small-scale entrepreneurs on: October 06, 2022, 04:23:02 PM
The competition is high and there is a huge monopoly that prevents new startups to succeed. Only when the government move to end this monopoly (particularly in Africa) will startups able to survive.
The cost of production as a startup is very high because of limited capital, unlike the big businesses who can get same materials at a huge discount from buying in bulk.
Then there is government policies which are too stiff for startups to meet and at the end 90% will not be able to survive.
The government has a big role to play for the survival of small scale business otherwise the story will remain the same.
You know what that competition causes? The lack of profits and only the aim of growing their worth. Because these days companies do not want to aim at making a profit, they aim at being worth a lot. If you have zero profits, in fact if you are making bigger and bigger debts and growing your losses bigger, but if your companies networth grows bigger than your debt? That's fine.

So, let's assume you have a company worth 10 million dollars but have a debt of 5 million, that's fine, and if you grow and have 20 million networth but 10 million debt that's fine and you could keep growing like that. "Exit strategy" is a term that grew too big, and that causes them to fail.
1467  Economy / Economics / Re: Electricity bills worth 500,000 euros: a hotel chain closes down in Italy. on: October 06, 2022, 03:03:41 AM
From what I've searched, huge percentage of Italy uses fossil fuel for their electricity. Our country uses the same material and electricity cost here have almost become tripled. Solar or hydro powered energy became popular now with the rising electricity costs and I think government should start considering this as an alternative option. Since Italy is a rich country, I think it's possible for them to switch to those options,
If they are truly a rich country then why they are struggling with this issue? But, you don't really need to be rich in order to afford the materials to be able to use natural energies. They can always consider this for now till the electric cost becomes cheap again for some time.

The only problem here that is see is if these kinds of energy can sustain a big business such as hotels as we know that they aren't really sustainable. Maybe it's also good for them to take a break for a while and maybe this can be a sign for them to venture other businesses which aren't totally relying on electricity. I think there are types of businesses who are like that.
1468  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does everyone want bitcoin to be stable in price? on: October 05, 2022, 05:35:02 PM
No for me.
Volatility is a double-edged sword for both investors and traders. Volatility can give you profit but at the same time, can give you losses.

I mean why would people want Bitcoin to be stable. Bitcoin right now is more of an asset than a currency and every asset is volatile in their own ways. Volatility makes millionaires but at the same time, volatility can cause massive losses to an investor. Overall, I don't think that we will come to a point where Bitcoin will have a stable price or maybe in the next decade we don't know.
It's a double sword so it can also cause you more harm than good. Maybe you like it because you know how to deal with it but for someone who doesn't, they are wishing that btc will be stable. Not to the point that its stability will be on the same level as a stable coin because earning with it is going to be impossible anymore.

The price of btc might have changed dramatically. It now cost thousands of dollars but it doesn't change the fact that btc is still a currency. Some people only think that btc is an asset due to its benefits. By the time btc was still new and its value is still small, many people already noticed this so there's people who already invest in btc even before.
1469  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If I get heart Attack that is because of BITCOIN on: October 05, 2022, 02:52:52 PM
You need to learn how to manage your emotions because Bitcoin investment is such a challenging thing. This usually happens to most Bitcoin investors but you have to set your target goal on when to sell your assets so you will have a guide. Also, you need to deal with the volatility of the market. Panic selling will only lead to wrong decisions and losses so you must have to control yourself whenever you fear afraid that the market would fall without you gaining any profit.
That is because bitcoin moves like a real roller coaster and you know what it feels to ride one in the amusement park. It's like you will get a heart attack but if you know that you are a faint hearted then should not try to engage on it because you might get a real heart attack and that can end up your life easily.

The only difference of bitcoin from a real roller coaster ride is that you are putting more funds in it so you can lose more money if you didn't manage your investment well but if only one will study bitcoin carefully, I think they won't be shocked anymore for whatever movements it can make and then will also know how to deal with it.
1470  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 05, 2022, 09:51:42 AM
Some Managers don't deserve small clubs like when Carlo Ancelotti was in charge of everton, he couldn't redeem them to a better position on the league table, rather it became worst and he had to go to a big team to explore those his strategy. Thomas Tuchel turning down Bayer Leverkusen offer is one of the right thing to do at the moment, one never can tell the outcome of the offer, the team board might just wake up one morning and relieved him of his duty which will spoil his reputation as a manager.
Same way some low managers do not deserve a big club like Graham Potter are you still convinced he will give a good plan at Chelsea, that club seems like a bigger club and job for him to handle.
I didn't believe it was Ancellotti though, they should have been in the top four a particular season he was there which lead to him leaving and also some big name's like James Rodriguez from Colombia.
It is a good decision bfrom Thomas Tuchel that club would rather spoil his career profile as Manager, I don't even think they will back him when he demands money to buy players.
Now we are in technology era where things are manageable for everyone even big names can go to small clubs and can change their fortune with small managers can do with big clubs as well because it's mentality and own strategy which help them for developing them into better place even I am also agree about Thomas Tuchel decision about Bayer Leverkusen but still many small managers doing good jobs at the top level and many big are fail with their strategy or having no funds for their required players are also problem for them.

Carlos Ancelotti fails in Everton because their funds were not enough for having his required players and now right Frank Lampard doing good job with most chances he can improve team's position and bring better results which is showing his committeemen because before start of this season mostly were feeling this is wrong decision.
1471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoins will not survive the bear market? on: October 04, 2022, 04:59:12 PM
there's no sure way to know which coin will survive the current trend, even big coin could collapses like luna and before that i'm sure every one never had the mind that luna could ever become shitcoin crossing their head. but there's certainly some characteristics that a coin have that could make us know whether they gonna survive and that is their volume and market capitalization, if their market capitalization is reaching billions already, I doubt they could ever just vanish into thin air, of course luna is different since it is collapsing because of their ust that's such a failure.
What about the top coins or the coins like eth and bnb? Do you think they won't survive this bear? Luna coin is a big coin but it only got big from tricking people and their real intention is to scam later on so don't count it or compare it to the big coins which are trusted through the years.

Luna is not what you call a shitcoin because they proposed some utility before they start but again that is part of the plan. Luna didn't turned into a shitcoin later on either but they simply just collapsed and eventually die while a shitcoin is always a shitcoin from start to finish but luna is worse than a shitcoin because a shitcoin can easily be avoided.
1472  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: October 04, 2022, 09:25:10 AM
When Srinivasan was the chairman of the ICC, he infamously proposed to reduce associate funding to zero. Finally a compromise was reached, and it was reduced from $56.25 million per year to just $20 million per year. If that was not enough, the changes to eligibility criteria made it more difficult for teams such as Thailand to receive ICC funding. Now majority of the funding goes to teams such as Oman, which are fully comprised of non-citizens. I am curious about the next funding cycle for 2024-31. Not expecting much, though.
Right now, as ICC system is working mostly giving impression we are still in colonial time because sadly they fail to have any solid system or way of spread this game which is more important and can increase income of this sports organization which is important here they are now working on having different bids for media rights which is good, but they need to work on other things as well which is surely needed of the time as well.

If they do work with better system then surely they can take good money from few other regions as well, and they can stop some blackmailing of big-4 but no one doing any better thing for this and just concentrating on their deep pockets profit which is coming from these puppets which are having own interests and never work on mutual way of this game right now franchise cricket is surely a big impact, but this is also going without any system which is surely needed to follow as we have in UEFA.
1473  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: October 04, 2022, 08:06:56 AM
Against Napoli at the Johan Cruijff ArenA will be an important match for Ajax Amsterdam to win in order to keep their chances of qualifying from the Group A phase.
Ajax's current points in Group A are the same as Liverpool's, which is 3 points, but Ajax's position is in 3rd position under Liverpool who occupy the second position.

Why do I say that Ajax should be able to win against Napoli, because on October 5 Liverpool will welcome Rangers to Anfield and the chances of winning are greater for Liverpool.
If Liverpool win and Ajax do not manage to get 3 points, then Ajax's chances of qualifying are no longer there.
Few weeks back I was also feeling in this way as Ajax is surely good team and having enough quality to compete with Napoli at home but sadly suddenly their performance in on decline which is surely going to be benefited for visitors as they are having very good record in Italian League and Champions League and giving their best which is the biggest advantage.

Still it's not going to be easy for them to have full three points against Ajax but anything which is going to be in Napoli could be not good for Ajax as they are looking for full three points for keeping alive for the next stage with Liverpool is going to face Ranger which is also easy win for Liverpool and most chances with this win they could be able to keep their place in this group.
1474  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Huge Down from ATHs. what will happen the next ? on: October 03, 2022, 08:22:02 PM
The answer is in your question its the close time to the bottom now it won't be Dropping from there so its the time to fill up the bag's as its going to take a pull back in upcoming year or months I don't know the exact time but that is what it is. You won't regret if you do some DCA with your favorite projects make up your priorities with the BTC that would help a lot to secure the savings
I agree that DCA during this period would be the key to making a good return. It would be a terrible way of investing if you are unsure, it would be a good way of investing if you know what you are doing, but at the same time it is going to be a difficult thing to wait that long for some people.

I understand that newbies want to make profit right away and that is understandable, you do not have to make a profit right away, you could end up with a big loss in the long run if you end up selling before the time comes. So the best thing to do would be making sure that you are doing the right thing by DCA however ALSO end up with holding for a long time.
1475  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: October 03, 2022, 04:52:41 PM
I recently saw some reports about Qatar from footballers who have played there. They say it's not as hot there as people think. Okay, during the day it can be 35 degrees or slightly warmer, but when the sun starts to go down it cools down pretty quickly and then the weather isn't that hot at all. I think that is a huge advantage for the teams, so that you can look for a moment of cooling in the evening. That wouldn't have been possible otherwise. I think the last time we had a World Cup in Asia was in South Korea in 2002? But I think it was still very warm in the evening. I don't expect many surprises in the group stage but I am curious what Spain - Germany will be.
Many different repots about weather in Qatar because one person who is already living and having some good adjustment about weather is surely going to be had different view with a person is going to be there for few days, and he has to done job in ground under open sky with as we all know whether in European countries is completely different in these months from the Middle East. Still, as we have few negative news about weather sometime back now coming into positive for many players and teams which is surely a positive news because
with this we will be having not bad impact on player's performance, and they could be able to give their best under these circumstances.

But, keep one thing in mind Middle East weather is surely going to have impact on few European countries players otherwise mostly will be done good and feel much prefer able because they can adjust with this all quickly.
1476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum drop gets me worried. on: October 03, 2022, 10:25:40 AM
it was definitely caused by the rumour of the merging increasing the value and when the merging actually occurred so many people that invested in eth makes a major sell off from their disappointment that nothing really changed in eth.
I think the value and pricing from eth will eventually recover back again, it's just matter of moment that it will eventually gets its standing back, right now even the trend of btc is bad, surely eth will be more or less same.
The ETH merger has been over-hyped by everyone and most people believe that the price of ETH will increase once the merger is completed. Before that can see the price of ETH has increased a lot, somehow people still buy and believe it will increase even more after the merger. If we look closely we can see that it is a price trap that has been created before, and it is not surprising that ETH after the merger did not increase in price as expected. It was sold soon after and the shark was bought back at a lower price. A perfect plan.
But the price of eth did really pump before the actual event happens so if you sell on those times then congrats but if you sell a little late then maybe you are one of those who got disappointed. What is even better for those who sold early is that the price of eth have dump drastically later on. That means they can buy effortlessly again with no worries because they already got their profits and they are trying to build another one this time.

For those who didn't sold last time, there is no need to sell at a loss but they can just continue hodling like nothing bad happens because this was not the end for eth. They shouldn't overact like they are a noob.
1477  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A single trading tool is not enough on: October 02, 2022, 05:21:20 PM
Different strategies must be adopted for trading on the trading platform. You can never be considered a successful trader from a trading platform by using a trading tool. Each item has different tricks that you have to use.Just trading platform also has different strategies by using all those trading strategies you have to trade on the trading platform. One of them is that you should buy low and sell high.
The OP is talking about trading tool not trading strategy but I think a new trading tool is needed to create another new strategy. Crypto trading is like a roller coaster ride and we all know the movements of it. It doesn't stay on single place or a single line. This is why having a different strategy is a must so that it's still possible for us to earn in whatever direction the price heads to.

A tool is useful but strategies are more important. If you don't have any forms of strategies then you won't never be successful. I am not sure if there are now trading platforms which came up with a free strategy for their users to use but we should learn to modify them if possible.
1478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto's Metaverse projects are looking good now on: October 02, 2022, 02:58:04 PM
Is it not a work in progress? The graphics and design is laughable but maybe Zuckerberg will change it at the later stages? It could be a test to know the reaction of the people. But it could be intentional to make it plain and very ordinary so even old people that are not following the new trends of technology can get it. By making its metaverse simple, it is also not irritating to our eyes night or day. But we will just follow on what is next. Many of us are laughing but we do no really know the reason behind it.
It is said that it was only a vision so it is not final yet but they will continue working to improve the game. Is the graphics really that bad for them to say that it was laughable? I bet those who laugh out there cant build their own game even with a basic graphics. What they are expecting? The game to have real world graphics like what is seen on a ps5?

I think each game devs has their own ideas. Look at minecraft, roblox and now we have sandbox in the crypto category. Their graphics doesn't also look realistic but it was cartoonish and pixelated, yet it still attract billions of players worldwide. Maybe that is what mark zuckerberg trying to achieve there.
1479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can we have a seperate BitcoinCash forum? on: October 01, 2022, 06:08:21 PM
I know there's an xlm forum before. There's also a forum for yobit's talk token and many more so why not bch? Bitcointalk is only the official forum for bitcoin and other categories here is just an extra but it's also great to talk about our favourite coins here. It can give the coin a boost because there are so many people who visit this forum.

If you are sick and tired of seeing bitcoin cash then you better not visit the forum or any other crypto forum because you can always see a post about it knowing that bch is famous back that time but now that we are now in the year of 2022, the trend had switch out on other coins. I guess you are fine now?
1480  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: New best altcoin on: October 01, 2022, 04:33:21 PM
Investors nowadays are smart enough to determine whether a certain coin is trusted or not. We're already skeptical and mindful when it comes to choosing a potential coin because shitcoins are everywhere. There are already lots of potential coins on the top list of coin market cap which we know are better choices than new projects. We're in the bearish season and most new projects nowadays don't survive.
There will always be newbie in cryptos especially now that cryptos are known, many people will enter here. If you joined here few months ago then maybe you already know how to differentiate a scam coin from the trusted ones. Top coins can be a great reference when you don't know what to choose but it's still important to check them frequently because there are many top coins before who turned out bad later on.

There are also new projects who we think won't be successful but later on we will only notice that they are climbing the ranks. We should not always underestimate them because we don't know that they can be a hidden gem.
