1461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware - Resurgence of previously inactive projects on: July 07, 2019, 04:32:59 PM
When one sees events like this repeating itself again then the bull market is confirmed, just wait for some months and we will start reading about projects scamming people and disappear, this is a good news for those bag-holding the coins because it would give them hope of the price going up
1462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shit Token! on: July 07, 2019, 04:24:16 PM
I am  not surprise we are seeing Shitcoins number in the space increase, some people would be very daft enough to throw their BTC into a project like this that call itself Shitcoin. Greed is the name of the game and will surely catch up with those greedy thieves
1463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: wait for the crowds to turn up? on: July 07, 2019, 04:20:04 PM
The whole price movement is  simply based on demands and supply. No need complicating it with difficult explanations.
Price goes up when there is more demand for a coin and goes down when demand is less. It stays sideways when demand and supply is at equilibrium.

I do disagree with you, most of the price action in the space is price manipulation, majorly by exchanges that employ market makers to help with the pump and dump. Whales are very important in this but exchanges are the greatest actor here, they know how human psychology works and they decided to work on this.
1464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A New Bitcoin Rival Is Coming? on: July 05, 2019, 11:04:11 AM
There is still chance t have another coin compete directly with Bitcoin, but not Libra coin. The reason Bitcoin succeed is as a result of many factors, Satoshi deciding to leave the project for others to develop to me create the path for the success of the Network, No one will tell you your fund has been flagged because this will happen remember EOS. People just need to wait and see how this project will fail big time
1465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it just me or is the market dominance of BTC dangerously high? on: July 05, 2019, 11:00:11 AM
There is nothing dangerous about this, ALtcoins had their time in the limelight but they chose to abuse it, the reason why Bitcoin dominance is going up now is because of the many of these shitcoins are dieing and more will still die, the good ALtcoins will now have time to shine
1466  Economy / Speculation / Re: what is the prediction BTC as per now on: July 04, 2019, 07:03:26 PM
I know by the end of the year BTC would hit $20k and people will start pricing in the halving event that is up coming. I  think long term BTC would hit $50k and because it will greatly affect the miners and probably they would push the price higher if they hold on to their coins and not sell in anticipating for the next halving
1467  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some Risks Of Long-Term Hodling Alts on: July 04, 2019, 07:01:25 PM
  • You might end up holding dead coins if the project gets abandoned
  • You might miss swaps and end up holding worthless tokens
  • Delisting of coin/token and you miss the withdraw period (in case you store coins/tokens on exchanges)

Take time to follow news/updates on the coins/tokens you invested to minimize the above listed risks. Checking up their telegram/discord/social media once or twice a month will help.

I do agree with all your point, this is a space that is unforgiven, I have seen several projects that raised more than $20  million and are worth shit now, Sparkster, GoNetwork, Davecoin, HybridBlock to name a few. There is nothing long term in this space move with the market trend and you will be fine
1468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just a thought on: July 03, 2019, 05:27:19 PM
This is just a thought ,what would have happened if the first crypto coin from satoshi was ethereum ? I'm sure ETH will be the most  favoured digital currency just like bitcoin is today.

And ETH would have been the bullrun driver and many altcoins will always favour since ETH is the key ,just imagine if ETH is 11,000$ ? Many altcoins would have been exploding in value presently

No. This is just a wishful thinking. Some people still do not understand how value enters into a product, IEO put an end to Ether prices because there is simply no demand for it, just look at the rate how most of the ERC 20 tokens are migrating to Binance change in search of value. Ethereum was built on a sloppy ground and is telling on the network now
1469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why drop in price when listed on exchange market? on: July 03, 2019, 05:23:31 PM
There are two main reasons, why a token price is falling after the first listing. First of all, bounty hunters that have earned some tokens are likely to sell them, this causes dumps. Secondly, team members are unable to make new people buy their coins because of the lack of marketing and poor management.

I think you guys need to stop this argument of bounty hunters dumping their coins, how many projects release their tokens to bounty hunters even before listing on exchanges? To me what is happening is that people are becoming wise, one there is not strong fundamentals to support a project, they dump and move, even if BNB tokens start to show sign of weakness people will start dumping
1470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Significant Moves In The Altcoin Market Are Now Overdue on: July 03, 2019, 05:19:54 PM
I can see people wants their token also to increase in price but for me until many of these useless tokens die we won't see the 2017 price movement in the Altcoins price, though one or two may pump but not the whole market. Many of these useless Altcoins stole investors money and have nothing to show months after ICO and you expect their prices to move up. Hash rate increase in Bitcoin Network is enough to justify its recent pump but what do most of these Altcoins  have to demand increase in price. Don't get m wrong I am bag holding some but we need sanity in the space for now
1471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Bitcoin Has Been Profitable 98.2% of the Days Since Creation on: July 01, 2019, 03:54:07 PM
The best strategy to maximize Bitcoin profit, is to ride the bull sell and wait for the correction and then buy the bottom again, which could be up to 80% correction, doing this one would be fine. It was like the bear market never happen at all, with the way people reacted to the recent price movement
1472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance Elrond (ERD) listing - 8x + IEO again possible? on: July 01, 2019, 03:49:00 PM
I have my reservation about this upcoming IEO, Binance is very cautious now and people should expect the price to trade sideways for some time and then pump, the hype in this project is not has strong as others that did 5X and above when listed after IEO. Another thing is that this IEO thing will burm most people  with time remember ICO hype nothing last forever
1473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cheap Cryptocurrencies(<$1) With Huge Potential on: July 01, 2019, 03:44:51 PM
I looked at the list and what I see is that most of the coins on the list have had their time on the limelight, blockchain projects are having hard time now because they have no users and people won't buy into this, just ride the new Waves, the IEO Waves this is where the money is now
1474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LTC halving on: July 01, 2019, 03:40:57 PM
For me I still believe that Litecoin still has more life in it, in this recovery market so far, it has outperformed BTC but most people do not know and I believe in coming days attention would move to Litecoin pricing the incoming halving into it, LTC still has many strong holders and as long as BTC lives, LTC will continue to ride on its strength
1475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Argentum Speculation on: July 01, 2019, 03:37:35 PM
A kind of shitcoin found on NovaExchange,
but pump and down is real, +550% two times streak this night,

if anyone want to take some risk and some fun, i guess it's the moment

Not  this kind of risk, that would be suicide because it has already pumped 550% those bag holding it would want nothing but to dumped it on the market for the earliest possible opportunity, I am not interested in being a bag holders and I would pass it, also low volume
1476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Leverage trading? on: July 01, 2019, 03:34:41 PM
You will end up losing money in a volatile market like this using leverage up to 100X, Leverage is very good for discipline traders, who are not greedy to grow their profit but for newbies like this, it is simply gambling and you will end up losing everything and this type of trading should be discourage
1477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] HOX - Earning by Sharing Happiness on: June 30, 2019, 08:46:41 PM
Honestly. This feels like a premade solution seeking a problem just so it can justify its existence. I am not dissing on the project. Just saying how vague and useless it is..

This is the situation in the space now, everyone just want to create something, the justify the need to have tokens, the ridiculous part of it is that most of these tokens are in the hands of the team, dumped on the market and disappear. I will not buy these tokens because there is no need for it
1478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [Exchange] Project: Districts | 3D Dapps | 3D Explorer | VR [3DCoin] [ANN] on: June 30, 2019, 08:43:29 PM
My thought was that this project is dead, the level of development is very slow which is very disturbing and another thing of concern is the low interest from the community, community is a very strong thing to consider in this space even technology not as solid as this are doing fine because they have built sound community around it
1479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just A Simple Trick on: June 30, 2019, 08:15:45 PM
Do you realize that a few people are really dumping off certain tokens on certain exchanges and these tokens are accessible on other huge exchanges with better volume?

This is another method for exchanging and making benefits ,for instance refereum token is accessible on bitmart with low volume and numerous brokers on there are dumping at less expensive rate ,I get some with btc and send from bitmart to gate.io and I already get 15% more $$$ by selling.

What you are doing if true is a surest way to lose money, you can do this from time to time but the time lag before the withdrawal and deposit from one exchange to another could make this opportunity to disappear and the problem with tokens with little volume is the huge market spread that exit when you want to buy and sell
1480  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This Is What We Learned From Working With More Than 50 Blockchain Companies on: June 30, 2019, 08:13:41 PM
I don't think there is something new with what you posted, it is like regurgitating what we all know, 2017 was the hype year and for me we are just getting started the next bull run is going to be hype of the new hype because many people will not believe how the market will move
