14621  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you using ETH for? on: May 04, 2018, 06:43:10 AM
I have done some trading in the past, but I never did trading using ETH. Also, I have never invested in any ICOs. My only connection to the ICOs comes from bounty campaigns and I normally convert most of my bounty reward to ETH as soon as I get them.
14622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 promising altcoins you invested? on: May 04, 2018, 06:28:49 AM
The coins like that of ripple, neo, litecoin etc. are the best alternatives to make an investment and that they can help you in having good earning as well.

NEO may be a good option to invest in. But I have serious doubt regarding the other two. Ripple is a much discredited currency. I would never invest in it. Litecoin is one of the first altcoins and I am surprised that it is still surviving But I have doubts regarding the future potential of LTC.
14623  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why altcoin is better than bitcoin? on: May 04, 2018, 06:19:31 AM
I  believe that bitcoin will stay as it is and the strong foundation it made will never be shaken. But their are so manu ICO right now that are planning to be ahead of bitcoin which has real people behind them. So, the possibilities that altcoins will be better than bitcoin is absolutely 100%.

Your logic is ridiculous. Just because there are so many ICOs, you think that it will be able to overtake Bitcoin? I am afraid that in the world of crypto-currencies, it is the quality that matters and not the quantity. You can have thousands of worthless ICOs, and still Bitcoin will remain as the king of crypto.
14624  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most alts are worth Zero on: May 04, 2018, 06:11:50 AM
The problem of new altcoins that they even dont have personal blockchain all use etherium erc20, and because of that they are just like clones.

Yes... there are a lot of tokens which use platforms such as Ethereum, Stellar and Qtum. A few months earlier, it was fine. There were only a few dozen of them. But now thousands of tokens have come to existence and the vast majority of them are not worth anything.
14625  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: May 03, 2018, 03:43:19 AM
The ICC World Cricket League Division Four is underway and currently Denmark and Malaysia are leading with two wins out of two games. The top two teams will gain an entry to the 2018 ICC World Cricket League Division Three.
Do they telecast these matches anywhere, if not they should telecast these matches.

The ICC refused to broadcast most of the matches during the ICC World Cup Qualifier, and you expect them to broadcast the matches from World Cricket League Division Four? Highlights are available from the ICC website. A few videos can be found here:

14626  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP 2018? on: May 03, 2018, 03:39:08 AM
Exactly, no doubt that Brazil and Argentina have much more good players than Portugal and people are considering Portugal in the race between these two countries because they have a legendary player and no other player is seen of his aura in team and the lgend alone can never ever help his team to win the title as it is achieved b the team performance and not the player alone.

This edition of the world cup will be in Russia and obviously the European teams will benefit from familiar conditions. Latin American teams such as Brazil and Argentina will be having a tough time adjusting to the unfamiliar weather and crowd in Russia. And I don't think that Argentina will advance that far, considering their current form.
14627  Economy / Economics / Re: Jim Rogers: Before All This Is Over, Gold Is Going Through The Roof on: May 03, 2018, 03:34:52 AM
The American stock indices have gone up by more than 50% during the last three years. Some of the smaller nations have seen even larger increases with their stock indices. So I would say that there are chances of a major correction occurring sometime soon. But IMO, it should be in the 20% to 25% range.
14628  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin now the biggest bubble of all time? on: May 03, 2018, 03:31:57 AM
First of all, we still don't know whether the recent crypto craze is a bubble or not. Even if it is a bubble, the largest market capitalization ever recorded was around $750 billion on December 2017. Compared to this, the market cap of the Dot com stocks in 2000 was close to $6 trillion. So even if this is a bubble, it is not the biggest.
14629  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will Israel Attack Iran on: May 03, 2018, 03:29:48 AM
Israeli political and military affairs have repeatedly addressed how to respond in the event that Iran attacks Israel. According to politicians, if Iran targets residential centers inside Israel, even if it comes from Syria or with the help of Hezbollah or other groups, the retaliation will be directed to Iranian territory.

Neither the Hezbollah nor the Assad's army is stupid enough to fire missiles towards Tel Aviv or Jerusalem. My biggest fear is that some American funded militant group in Syria will do this, and the Americans and the Israelis will blame the attack on Iran. Just like they blamed the recent chemical attack on Assad's forces.
14630  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will ever there be World Peace? on: May 03, 2018, 03:27:16 AM
I do not believe in this. Wars have always been and will be. Of the last 3,400 years, people were completely in the world peace for 268 of them, or only 8% of the recorded history.

Wars have been recorded tens of thousands of years back. There were constant wars between the modern human race (homo sapiens) and the Neander-thal men. Evidence to support the same has been unearthed from many parts of the Western Europe.
14631  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Environmental Problems on: May 03, 2018, 03:25:19 AM
I think one of the biggest overlooked environmental issues is the effect busy shipping routes have on marine life who rely on sonar and other still unknown senses to communicate in the ocean. The vibrations these ships send through the ocean have been attributed to a massive decrease in whale populations in some areas.

https://www.marineinsight.com/environment/effects-of-noise-pollution-from-ships-on-marine-life/

There is hardly anything we can do about this. For large distance freight movement, there is no other viable option. Hopefully, as the technology advances the ships may be able to navigate without the Sonars. But for now, we can designate oceanic regions with large whale populations as nature conservancies.
14632  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why US is the most powerful country in world ? on: May 03, 2018, 03:22:19 AM
I don’t think US is the most powerful country in the world. What about Russia?

As of now, the United States is the most powerful country in the world. Their military budget is more than 10 times bigger than the next competitor. Under current circumstances, neither Russia nor China is capable of waging a war against the United States. If these nations unite, then it is a different story.
14633  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Scotland price hike on booze 50p per unit worlds first place to do this .. on: May 03, 2018, 03:20:28 AM
This strategy has never worked in the past, and I have no reason to believe that it'll work this time. For example, if a bottle of vodka costs £15 in Scotland and £5 in England, then the guys will just travel to England and bring 12-24 bottles with them back to Scotland at a time. In the end, the Scottish government will lose tax money.
14634  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Socialism vs capitalism ,which one is good for us ?? on: May 03, 2018, 03:17:24 AM
Capitalism is a voluntary system.

Socialism requires force.

You choose Force? Why?

Socialism is meant for the lazy people, who want to live off others hard work. The problem with socialism is that as the system progresses, we will be having less and less hard-working people with every passing year. Such people will either emigrate to other countries, or stop working altogether.
14635  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a good investment? on: May 03, 2018, 03:01:22 AM
I would consider any investment which gives me decent returns as a good investment. Going by that logic, BTC has given me 20x ROI and I should consider it as a gift from god.
14636  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm very disappointed with myself. on: May 03, 2018, 02:53:39 AM
I'm extremely depressed about my impatience and persistence.
I'm a stupid man. Fuck myself.
I bought the ETC when its price was 15$, i kept it for three months, including when it down at 9$, I still don't sell, because i believe it. And when ETC rise to 15$. I sold everything and waited it down $ 13 to buy more. But, fuck myself, the next day it rise to fucking 30$, Are you kidding me?
I bought 5000 XRP from May, i still believe it, I bought more yesterday, I bought when its price was 0,00001610sts, and when it down 0,00001558, i afraid BTC up, XRP down. So i sold everything. And... This morning I woke up with a sense of chest not say words.

This is my mistake, definitely like that. I can't blame anyone.
I told myself, "The market is still there. Nothing to hurry"
I don't complain, i post here just relieve stress. I didn't  tell anyone about this, including my wife.
Thank for listening.

What I have noticed is that, when you get 5x or 10x profit you quickly forget that incident. But when you suffer from a 10% or 20% loss, that will linger in your mind for many months. The best thing to do here is to forget everything and move forward.
14637  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins You Think will Grow on: May 03, 2018, 02:10:53 AM
I had high hopes on Monero, but nowadays it looks like it has lost its steam. Now I am investing in coins backed up by modern technology such as Cardano and NEO. In my opinion, these coins should give us decent returns during the medium term (1-2 years).
14638  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEO vs ADA on: May 03, 2018, 02:09:03 AM
Yes I know that have nothing do do with each other and that you cant really compare. But if you had to choose one from the other. which would it be?
ADA is a coin that has an ever-increasing development. so, having an ADA is quite profitable. so I chose ADA to be the coin I chose.

NEO is not that far behind. It is also supported by a competent bunch of developers, who want the coin to succeed. This is somewhat of a rarity in the crypto-world. I'd say that both ADA and NEO are coins worthy of investment.
14639  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to know which coins are good? on: May 03, 2018, 02:02:54 AM
Lots of coins are coming in every month. But I can't know which coin will good in future,  Always I face problem with my confusion. So, is there anyway to know which coins are good?

Thank You

A lot of new coins are coming up, and you need to carefully analyze whether these coins are mere copycats or whether there is anything unique in their technology. Even if there is something unique, you need to see whether it will become successful in the future or not.
14640  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters should be paid in ETH on: May 03, 2018, 01:59:41 AM
I don't think that it's any good in this idea. Sometimes tokens from bounty grow faster than ETH and that's far more profitable.

Sometimes. But there is no guarantee. Nowadays, a lot of the bounty campaigns are not paying their participants (I would say that the proportion is between 30% and 50%). And in most of the remaining cases, the tokens are not traded in any of the exchanges.
